Pros: We had lost our credit card and the staff was exeedingly friendly in trying to find a solution so that we could stay anyway. In the end, we managed to work things out; we slept, we ate (very well, village's own cheeses included) and after a hefty breakfast, were on our way with a certainty to return.
Pros: We had a room with an extra bedroom. Nice pool, beautiful environment, you can get a diner. It was a bit old fashioned but it was a charmfull auberge next to an chapel.
Pros: Very nice, remote location, just on the side of monolith church. The restaurant is on the ground floor of the hotel.
Cons: When we were there, the restaurant (ground floor) had an event held. While it was quiet during the event, after it finished the stuff moved the furniture around until 1 am, which from our room simply prevented us from sleeping. You could also hear the ventilation system running during the event. Pay attention as bathtub part of the bathroom placed in the room on the first floor - not accessible for disabled.
Pros: The location is beautiful and tranquil. A great little village and the auberge is very well run and very clean.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Friendly professional staff.
Pros: We enjoyed watching the cows crossing the road down the street.
Cons: Although there was a small room with a toilet and tiny sink, the bathtub and shower and a larger sink were on a second floor reached by a steep staircase.
Pros: BWe were welcomed nicely. Free parking. Quiet.
Cons: Breakfast was very poor and basic.
Pros: Brilliant place, charming hosts, the biggest surprise was the excellence of the chef's cuisine - one of the best meals.

Pros: The location was gorgeous, the view behind the hotel has beautiful mountains, a nice valley and much greenery - it was so nice and relaxing! The pool was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious (maybe a bit pricey as it was a 'fancy' restaurant) - definitely the best food in this cute small town. The parking lot is right across the hotel and free of charge. The rooms were super clean (not sure about the carpet though) and comfy (though cozy). The vibes of the owners and the hotel were great - I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: The hotel is a bit outdated of course (which adds to the charm) but small upgrades like getting the carpet out of the rooms and changing the shower heads, etc. would go a long way! Also, I found my room unlocked one day after I came back from lunch (which I locked but found unlocked after the cleaning team had come in) - luckily nothing was missing but they should make sure to lock the rooms after themselves! Another minorly annoying thing was that they would be vacuuming the floors at 9 in the morning.
Pros: Really nice hotel, good welcome comfortable room. Dinner in restaurant (menu changed every day) good enough to eat in both nights we were there. I'd certainly hope to stay there again.
Pros: The family suite. The restaurant food very good for families. Hotel in a beautiful part of the Auvergne.
Pros: Incredible owners who cater to your every need. We loved the hotel and the experience. Thank you for such efficient friendly service.
Pros: Good food and value for money. Central location. Enjoyed the pool.
Cons: Need an air vent in the bathroom.

Pros: Bed comfy. Relaxed atmosphere.
Pros: The owners are outstanding! Ross and Sandy go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I did a long cycle to get to them and they still provided food despite my late arrival. I was also lucky enough for a pick up at the bottom of the last climb as 127miles into the ride, I just couldn’t make the last col! Ross came to collect me and the bike with no hassles. St jacques des blats is in the cantal mountains and should be on every cyclists tick list. Even Sagan blew up on the pas des peyrol climb! Come and try it!
