It was a easy place to stay on route from Brest airport. Did not have any curtains and we coudn't check in until after 6 as there was no staff about.
Clean, value for money hotel in an attractive village near Brest Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times.
Well located and comfortable.
Hotel very quiet situated in a very nice old little town with a good restaurant. No problem for parking the car.Very interesting surroundings. A lift would be appreciated by old people.
close to motorway / transport links room was hot, poorly ventilated. differcult to leave windows open due to biting insects, and room small very little room with extra bed in it (2 parents+2)
Comfortable Beds with good facilities, considering. Suited our needs. a decent Continental Breakfast. No air conditioning. Reception closed early - after hours arrangements should be on the website.
Very obliging, easy to find, excellent restaurant next door and excellent breakfast next morning. Room had all we needed including extras. Definitely to be recommended.
All the staff wrer very accommodating. I called to inform them that I would be running late, they ensured that I was given a pass code and the key left in my room. Its location is a little off the beaten path
Easy to find location Good size room Secure parking Friendly staff Breakfast had good variation to suit most tastes Only one local restaurant, very poor standard worst meal we can remember. Hotel bar very limited in choice of drinks.
Great hotel, very accommodating, friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Were attending a football tournament for the weekend and the hotel suited our needs perfectly. Only negative point was being unable to order any food later in the evening.
Beautiful hotel, grounds and scenery; entrance direct into room; separate toilet; tea/coffee making facilities; safe parking; convenient for exploring region. The bed was not too comfortable and the room a little stuffy. Would benefit from using quilts and having a safety mesh on window so that you could open it at night.
Our room was comfortable and spacious with wonderful views over the countryside. The dinners were excellent we were a litle dissapointed with the breakfasts we felt could have been more substantial for 12 euros withiut having to pay extra for more choice. The staff and the owners worked tirelessly and are very professional and wew hope to stay there again. We were surprised at the lack of detail about this hotel on the website when booking, the difference in the bedrooms could have been clearer.
Stunning old building, excellent rooms, good food and very helpful staff. Location good for visiting attractions in area
It was the highlight room of my trip. Staying on the grounds of a chateau near the picturesque town LoCronan could not be any more than perfect! Our room was so cozy and inviting with a bathroom that Americans can enjoy! Shower has power!! :) Breakfast and dinner is served in the chateau which is excellent. The owners' were so very kind and helpful when needed. I will always stay on these grounds shall I ever get the chance to come back to beautiful Brittany!
staff is friendly . Surrounded by mountain view...nice place to relax and rest. Not sufficient information about the location of the hotel. Hard to reach without good car navigation.
It was a well run family hotel
One of the nicest places we have stayed at in France, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bathroom was spacious with a good shower and lots of hot water, the bed comfortable and our room had a patio to sit out on. At night it is very peaceful and we heard no noise at all from other guests.
Interesting old manor house Rooms need to be re-renovated - but then they were cheap
There was a single fixed menue each night that we knew about in advance so could make plans if it didnn't meet our tast. The food and service on a whole was excellent except for coffee service. One night we had to wait 45 minutes and another 30 after desert was finished to get our coffee order placed. Notheing, some from the USA might find the location a challange.
Very relaxing country stay with delicious dinners. Owner/manager very kind and helpful.
Friendly staff, warm clean room.
Reception staff very good, English spoken well. Food good quality and value. Room warm and comfortable bed. Shower excellent. Perfect hotel for our use in the nearby Marina.
Helpful friendly staff
pleasantness of the staff, and the quality of cuisine the smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors which came into the bedroom
The friendly Staff Rooms were just a bit small
Very good value for money - 2 adjoining rooms sleeping 4 of us for 70 Euros. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although not in a nice location, it's only 5 minutes from taxi ride from the harbour in Brest.
Very quiet No breakfast after 9:30 on week days. Tobacco smel in one room.
Location for us was excellent They had no english speaking staff, the walls of the room were in need of decoration and the bathroom door jammed
liked the nice bed linen no tea or coffee facilties
The interconnecting bedrooms There was a stinch of cigarette smoke in the room which was most unsavoury
Very friendly host. We liked the ambience and furnishings. Spacious, quiet rooms. Only bed and breakfast, so no lunch or evening meal available.
This is a restored Govenor's house with only 6 Appartments. It has been lovingly restored by Stepan who is an excellent host. The breakfasts are excellent with a wide variety of home made items. There are the most amazing antiques appropriate to the age and quality of this fine residence. Our first Table d'hote. We would recommend this to anyone who likes peace beauty and quality.
The Room was excellent and the place quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Host was quite impersonal. He did help when asked, but disappeared most of the time.
Very friendly welcome. Good breakfast. Excellent location and beautifully furnished house. Presumably for hygiene reasons, the pillows were encased in a kind of rubber sleeve (with a normal pillow case on top) - the smell was not pleasant and it detracted from the otherwise lovely bedroom.
Very comfortable, elegant furnishings and extremely peaceful. An excellent breakfast.
Very little to be honest other than the free parking on site. Building work on site, lack of facilities (tea & coffee) in the room.
The hotel is situated in a large park with plenty space around; sufficient car park is nearby the hotel. We have appreciated the hospitality of a very friendly and english speaking hotel staff. Rooms were larger than average, fast and stable wifi internet access, and breakfast was of very good quality. The hotel is in walking distance from the sighseeing highlight of Landerneau - the Pont of Rohan. Altogether both the hotel and and city of Landerneau were a positive suprise on our Bretagne roundtrip. -
Nature is great and beautyful The beach was a bit boring -
Hotel staff is very "at home" type and kind. Hotel is not far from beach and room has enough space and clean rooms. If you stay long term, this place is nice. This is not hotel type. So it is good to stay some nights but not good for one night stay. There is no amenity goods (bed sheets, towels, shampoo, etc).
This was a wonderful location and the apartment was superb----built to very high standards. it was exceptionally clean with dishwasher and washing machine too. adjoining restaurant served excellent crepes and drinks. superb location for families as well as older couples like us. we were there at the end of june ,but I would imagine that the resort will become very busy in high season. the nearby beach is delightful. fabulous holiday!! It is advisable to take your own bed sheets, pillowcases and towels. these can be provided though for a small charge.
excellent creperie with some newly built appartments to let, have been upgraded to first floor appartment with terrasse with sea view which was excellent, excellent kitchen equipment, clean, very friendly host, excellent galettes ;-) price for the rooms on ground floor would be too high (two very small windows only)
Close to the beach This is Self Catering Accomodation not a hotel. Linen had to be hired. Rooms withe very sloping ceilings and not easy for tall people. Resturant already closed- early September. Web site description did not match the real situation.
Excellent location to explore the west and south of Brittany. Nice seaview (terrace). 5' from beachside. Basic comfort but very clean. 6 beds, but only 1 enclosed bedroom. Was not apparent from info on the side
