10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived on our bikes in the rain and received such a warm reception. Even better, we had ordered the dinner platters and there was a fully stocked honesty bar so we didn't need to go out again in the rain. The food was excellent and the location is so beautiful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Brilliant converted lock keeper cottage on canal. It has a few bedrooms which are practical and comfortable Warm and happy welcome from owner. You can order a cold meal, vegetarian or meat platter, plus wine, bread etc. The owner does not sleep on the property. You are left to make yourself at home . Sorry but I forgotten our super hostess` name. She arrived in the morning with fresh bread etc for breakfast, which was eaten with the other guests. Without doubt this was one of the highlights of our Velodyssee trip. From there we cycled to the next village and took the train, with bikes, to Nantes, making our trip so much easier....thanks for that invaluable advice!
Cons: Nothing. Wish there were more places like this on the canal routes through France.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: marvellous location, walking along the canal in the morning mist was lovely. Very quiet too, no traffic noise.-
Cons: Should have taken more provisions; some bread, milk, a couple of beers maybe. A long way from shops etc and all bars in Nort shut at 8pm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the canal cycle path. A fair distance from the nearest town so we accepted the offer of a simple meal from our host, which was fine. It was unusually cold for the time of year but a heater was provided.
7.5 Good
Pros: I noted the charges on location at Euros 52 per night, so why did I pay over £86. I will be complaining to Booking.com - I feel badly 'stung'
Cons: It is a simple gite and well worth the E52 for a stunning location, but certainly NOT worth £86

Instructions how to find it: pass through Héric village, pass Peugeot building and Super U on left hand side, through the roundabout heading west and property is about 400m on the right hand side, just before the next junction for the local camping site (on the left). The wi-fi speed was very poor.

7.5 Good
Pros: This restored manor was part of a larger complex which runs corporate training events. Parking was good, the room was OK and dinner in the restaurant was satisfactory but not good value for money in our opinion. We arranged breakfast for 8.30am but when we arrived there was nothing out for us - it looked like a corporate group had eaten it all. Not impressed.
Cons: Quite a lot.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastic Hotel the owner and his staff were all excellent, I location is good and grounds it is set in are well maintained.
Cons: My only criticism is trying to find the hotel there were no GPS coordinates on the Booking.com web site so it took a few phone calls to find the property so if you can put this additional detail in it would be very helpful to other travellers wishing to find the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such an amazing building beautifully restored with creativity and care. Quirky and fun - contemporary meets traditional. Very comfortable and peaceful. Walking or sitting in the wonderful grounds listening to the birdsong lifts your spirits at the end of a long journey. Dinner in the restaurant was also inventive and delicious, and very good value. Definitely worth making a slight detour to visit

Cons: Location,on a trading estate
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful welcome.
Cons: Hard to find.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The shower was good. There was a kettle and coffee and tea supplied and although we don’t use it in France it is rare. The aircon/heating was in good working condition and easy to operate.
Cons: Despite check in time being 1700 hours, the person who checked us in arrived after 1730, and the phone number given was on answerphone. I hate to think what would happen in an emergency. There was no apology. He also told us a local pizza outlet was a restaurant. It was about 100 metres away and he really should have known it was a take away only. The knowledge of local amenities is something I believe the reception at a hotel should be aware of. The hotel does not have a restaurant. We walked over 5 kilometres to find a restaurant but every restaurant was closed and there were only take aways. We then ran the risk of being so late we would not have been able to find something to eat. We ended up buying a take away pizza and having to eat it while walking back to the hotel, something we never do, so that we could eat it while hot. I realise February is a quiet month but correct information for travellers is essential. It is not the fault of the hotel that the town is dead but good information is paramount. As a result of this we have no desire to visit this town again. It is not the quality of service I expect from Logis. It is clearly a hotel for business travellers and not tourists.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome of the staff! The breakfast. It’s close proximity to a V&B and a McDonalds served our purpose for one night!

Pros: Cleanliness, staff were friendly
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Helpful staff and good breakfast
Cons: Restaurant closed Friday Saturday and Sunday! Not good for travellers, obviously a hotel for weekly business people which is why the place was dead Friday night. Bathroom was not cleaned and hairs everywhere, bedroom floor sticky
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool
Cons: Rooms a bit small for 2 singles
5.5 Okay
Pros: A bit of a sloppy attitude while staying here for an overnight. There were only a few people using the pool and despite this, dirty cups etc left there for long period of time. Wouldn’t stay again despite its good price and I have stayed in many ibis hotels
5.0 Okay
Pros: The maids were really nice and gave you extra toilet rolls and towels if you needed them. They cleaned the rooms nicely despite the rooms being dated. The pool was nice and clean.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable as there was a very thin makeshift mattress that kept sliding off the bed. Also, the double bed was too big for the room size. As a result, you face planted the wall every time you tried to get out of bed. The reception staff kept you waiting a long time before serving you with drinks even though they clearly knew you were waiting. Most could not be bothered to deal with you as you spoke another language except for a nice young man with dark hair and glasses who did his best to help. However, there was either a distinct lack of information about public transport from hotel staff or an arrangement with the local taxi firm to rip off tourists staying there. Either way, no one will tell you that once you reach 'LE CARDO' from the airport or town or wherever, you DO NOT have to get a taxi out to the Ibis which is literally another mile away. You can hop on a LILA bus from LE CARDO in the direction of GRANDCHAMPS DE FONTAINE and go just 1 stop to TREILLIERES TOURNEUVE, walk across the roundabout and you're at the Ibis. For just that 1 mile, the taxis charge 15 or 16 Euro. It is 2.40 Euro on the bus. We made this mistake 3 times before I found this bus despite asking Ibis staff several times. Food a little on the expensive and not a great selection.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were simply outstanding. Their dedication and commitment to service was unquestionable. The meals were very good. This hotel suited our needs beautifully with air conditioning and a swimming pool when we needed it most in 40C heat.
Cons: It was all good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stop over location on the way south to Spain from Roscoff. Room rate very reasonable but drinks and breakfast expensive.
Cons: Bar prices and breakfast not value for money.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff
Cons: A shame that the restaurant is closed at weekends as no more nearby. However the helpful receptionist booked one for us a short drive away.
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms were clean and tidy.
Cons: Restaurant closed Saturday evening which seemed rather strange.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Early check in
Cons: Nothing, happy with it

4.5 Okay
Pros: Owners were friendly and helpful. Cute cat. Light breakfast included (but no privacy while you have it). Unfortunately hugely over-priced for the extremely simple accommodation.
Cons: Once again the Booking page did not clearly state that this was not a professional establishment but a room deeply embedded in someone's home. The nice pictures were not of the room but of private areas of the hosts' home, which we of course couldn't use; most we never saw. Our room was not the cute, romantic weekend escape my husband and I had chosen based on the pictures but tiny, naked, in the attic, up two flights of very rickety stairs, and had a shared bathroom and toilet, neither with doors that locked. Every scrub of the house was rented out as a "room"; there were even beds in the landing, behind sheets they'd hung up! We couldn't get the wifi working and were told the next day you had to ask in advance for it to be turned on. If instead we'd gone to a motel, we'd have had a nicer room, much easier to access, with more privacy, working wifi, private bath and toilet, and paid about 10 euro less. We travel quite extensively, and these rooms should have been rented in the 25 euro range. There is absolutely no validation for the price asked.
