Pros: The owners were lovely, helpful people. I would highly recommend this quaint hotel to anyone traveling in the area. The breakfast was delicious too!
Pros: The owners are very helpful Abdul friendly. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend the hotel and the cute little town.
Pros: Great quiet location. Wonderful hospitality. We were invited to join the other guests for the evening meal which was excellent. And a bonus as we booked in so late! I would recommend this accommodation.
Pros: The food is excellent, the house beautiful, the hosts amazing and the room was really comfortable. If you love animals, you will enjoy meeting Moustique the donkey and Sultan the lovely Persian cat.
Pros: Wonderful country house full of character in a very tranquil setting. Christine and Willy were very welcoming, friendly and informative hosts. Christine’s homemade breads, treats and jam were scrumptious. We loved Sultan the playful cat and the horses and donkey. Our kids even got to feed and ride the donkey. Highly recommend staying here and hopefully we will be back. Thank you Christine & Willy for a truly memorable stay.
Pros: Beautiful house, and perfect for animal lovers! Our room was very cute. Hosts were unbelievably friendly. They are great company if you like a little chit chat. We got on really well. We didn't have food with us so they made us a nice 4 course meal. They stayed for the aperitif which was very sweet and we ate the rest of the meal just the 2 of us. Breakfast was very nice, I loved Christine's homemade brioche, so yummy. Everything you need in our spacious room.
Cons: It was a away from everything, but this was probably what made it special and so remote to switch off. If I want to be really picky, wine wasn't great! We were on a cycling trip, traveling from soulac sur mer to here, not a great deal of cycling paths! If you're on your bike, be aware of the roads, wasn't a pleasant cycling via D733! We tried to find side routes but not much luck! Leaving from here towards rochfort was better although still it was roads!
Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful. We even got home made bread and brioche for breakfast! The house is lovely. If you like animals, this is the right place for you.

Pros: Very comfortable room.
Cons: This is really a wonderful restaurant with rooms. Unfortunately after a long day of travelling the last thing we wanted was a Michelin-starred restaurant but I missed this on the website. The reception desk was not open when we were ready to leave the next morning (7.45am) causing us a delayed start to our travels. This property is not for the passer-by but rather for a planned stay!
Pros: Beautiful room, peaceful and cool thanks to the air-con which was definitely needed as temperatures soared during our stay to 35 degrees. The restaurant was shut on the night we visited, but it looked fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice.
Cons: The property is quite a way out of town, and whilst we didn't want to drive, we ending up having no option as the taxi we booked failed to materialise. There is nothing going on in the village, didn't even see a shop, so when we wanted a bottle of wine to take back to the room, we had to buy it from a pizzeria in the next village.
Pros: A very warm welcome, the hotel is ideal for a one night stop over and has a first class restaurant,
Cons: A couple of bottles of water in the room, would have been nice.

Cons: The home owner
Pros: Nice breakfast but not incl in room price
Cons: Bit overpriced
Pros: Excellent restaurant in the same building. Nice bathroom and good facilities. Nice town with lots of shopping choices
Pros: Owners particularly helpful and welcoming, bed very comfortable and rooms are very quiet. Next door is the most remarkable restraunt, to my mind worthy of at least one Michelin star. A real and unexpected pleasure. Will defineatly be back.

Pros: Lovely staff, nice breakfast: we didn't try dinner but I'm sure that would also have been very good. I had a ground floor disability room which was lovely and spacious. The bed was really comfortable and the staff could not have been nicer, kinder or more helpful. It's a short stroll across the road to the pedestrian street full of little shops.
Cons: I was worried about getting our large Audi A6 thr Ugh the gateway into the rear car park....but it's fine. Be brave!

Pros: Surprising gem in a busy holiday area. Fantastic staff. Excellent food. Ask for rooms giving on to garden and canal. Road side can be noisy.
Cons: Slightly dated decor.
Pros: This is our 4th stay at this Hotel. The setting in a lovely garden with a little river running under th hotel and twisting through the garden we saw herons and a Kingfisher from our window. The food ,as ever was of a very high standard
Pros: Immediate warm welcome when we arrived hot and dirty following a long cycle ride. Staff first rate and very helpful. Meal was superb. Breakfast just so-so.
Cons: We had booked, I believe, a superior room, but it was up 3 flights of stairs and in the attic. It was fine for an overnight stop. Overlooked lake and trouble with midges. I felt the room was just basic, and questioned this when we paid our bill. Lasting good memory though of excellent meal and wine.
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful, the room spotlessly clean and the bed, well we could have taken that back home with us, it was really comfortable. The food in the restaurant is extremely good and they have a really good wine list.
Cons: Having to leave
Pros: The food was brilliant.

Pros: Comfortable room, relaxing in the garden
