Pros: Nice chateau with all amenities. Beautiful room with high ceilings. Nice grounds with golf course. Easy free parking. Romantic dinner.
Cons: We heard the people in the room next door coughing all night. Bed has 2 twin beds so we fell in the crack. Shower water wasn’t quite so hot first thing in the morning. Dinner was decent. Foie gras just ok. Prices were expensive for dinner. 128 Euros for 2, and that’s just with 2 entrees and one starter, and one glass of wine.
Pros: Spasious room, silentness, very nice golf course, relaxed athmosfere, good and kind service.
Cons: Food in restaurant was too modern for us...nearly fusion like. Coffee at breakfast.
Pros: The restaurant was amazing the staff were helpful
Cons: Walking across to the restaurant from the accommodation in heels as it's quite uneven
Pros: Very nice staff though. Worth mentioning it. They do their best. Nice location in the golf.
Cons: We had a room outside of the main castle. A bit old. Air conditioning was broken and there was an electric heater in the room. Definitely not at the level of a 5 stars hotel. We might have been unlucky but I won't come back. Do not misunderstand me, overall not bad but worth 200 EUR not the 415 EUR we paid for one night. With 5 stars you expect no less than perfection.
Pros: Historical and pretty
Cons: Not much to do if you don’t golf
Pros: Everything else...the reception staff were delightful, partly because they made our dog feel v welcome. The grounds are stunning, the area is beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the room was v comfortable. A thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay before heading South.
Cons: The wc was completely on the opposite side of the bedroom to the bathroom.. it was odd always having to cross the room to wash hands after using the wc....A small sink in the wc would be recommended.
Pros: Lovely hotel, beautiful large bathroom, outstanding caring staff, great dependable internet, enjoyed restaurant that overlooked the golf course
Cons: I liked the Chateau very much but you must have a GPS to find this place.
Pros: Breakfast was nice but expensive. Buffet always is. Staff was very helpful and nice. We are American so that’s a big plus. Watching the golfers was nice while having a glass of wine. It’s all good in the end
Cons: All the dead plants and dirty building in the front right side. Beds were hard and rooms small. But that’s okay for a building that is 600 years old.
Pros: We stayed in a beautifully furnished room in the Chateau's annex. Impeccable service from the waiters at the gastronomic restaurant - they treated us practically like royalty. The whole place has been expertly renovated. The on-sight spa was clean, new and well-functioning. Beautiful grounds around the chateau
Pros: The room was in another building o the 2 floor No lift and a walk from the head building( The castle). This part is not reacheble by car so you have to carry your own Luggage by feetand take the staircase wich strarts at the ouside of the building. The Bread was fresh and crispy The evening dinner in the restaurant was excellent. But as well as the wine also very, very expensive. we paid fot 2 persons incl aperative € 240.-. The atmosphere was very nice in a historical and warm style The staff at the reception was first class.
Cons: half warm water for the tea in a can , half warm coffee in a can and watery porridge form scrambled eggs at breakfast The price of the dinner in the restaurant. € 240 incl aperative and wine for 2 persons
Pros: Overall it’s a beautiful place, with very attentive, professional and kind personnel. The Spa, the restaurant, the rooms and the atmosphere are very well suited for a romantic weekend in this area of France.
Cons: Only minor issues: interestingly enough our room was not ready until 04:00pm. Not a big deal but it’s later than in other hotels. Given the cold climate of these days, a slightly warmer room would have been appreciated.

Pros: Nice and clean everywhere....... Good food and attentive staff. Nice stay.
Pros: Family room (4 people: 1 large dbl + 2 bunk beds) - very nice, spacious room. Friendly staff. Free private parking
Cons: Room above restaurant, so affected by late New Year's Eve party (vibrating floor until 02:30am) - probably not an issue most nights, but check beforehand! (Only applies to family room, other rooms are in annex, so no noise issues)
Pros: Traditional hotel in lovely quiet town. Restauarant was really very good. Great Building, very quirky with attentive staff.
Cons: Rooms were a bit warm, chairs at desks in room were not great for working at, but it is not a business hotel, so probalbly a bit unfair to complain.
Pros: The apartment contained everything we expected and the bedroom was comfortable.
Cons: The most surprising and very disappointing thing was the location of the apartment. At no Point was it specified that the apartment was not in the hotel grounds in fact it is a 5 minute walk away in a street location. Upon check in we were told to follow the receptionist and marched through the streets wondering where on earth we were going. We arrived at a less than impressive front door which led to a corridor where a few apartments were based. I enquired as to whether they had a room available in the hotel as I want happy with the location but was advised it was full. This apartment would not be at all suitable for elderly or less mobile if they wanted to use the facilities of the hotel on a regular basis. The car parking is outside the hotel you cannot park near the apartment as it is restricted parking on the road. The location made me feel uneasy as we were 2 ladies and a child and usually like the safety of a hotel. I would not have booked the apartment if I had known it’s location. We chose not to take the breakfast option or use the restaurant. There was a garden area but this is shared with the other apartments. Bathroom wasn’t very private as the glass doors were slightly see through. The second bed was the sofa which was ok but took up the whole living area. I had amended my stay via booking.com and had confirmation that I would be checking out 1 night earlier with a revised cost. When we went to pay and check out they tried to charge me the extra night I showed them the confirmation but was basically told that they hadn’t been told so no I had to pay for the additional night. I refused and after an uncomfortable stand off the management agreed to reduce the cost to the price I had on my confirmation.
Pros: good food
Pros: Breakfast choice is excellent
Pros: Lovely to eat on the terrace. Interesting and tasty menu
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Very noisy room at front of hotel. (It was hot but we wanted to shut the windows) Food lovely but expensive for a family and we couldn't find any local alternatives.
Pros: Bedroom, building and atmosphere

Cons: We we're not told when we booked that there was a problem with the water. They took our money and never mentioned a problem. When we went to go to bed no water to shower or brush our teeth, my husband had to get a bottle of water to use. We had hiked all day and had hoped to take showers we did at least clean our feet with bottled water. Feel like we should have been given the option to cancel for free since they had already taken our money with no way to cancel.
