Nice and helpfull stuff, well equipped kitchen, clean, upgraded the room Duplex, toilet at the fist flour, small beds, spa didn't work
The studio is very good equipped and has nice balcony and free wifi. Centrally located in very nice authentic little village with good choice of various restaurants. The spa and pool are beautiful. One can only shower sitting in the bathtub. Showerhose is too short and no wallmount.
lovely Spa. Good food. Good welcome Room was disappointing. Carpet tiles needed urgent replacement. Looked higher grade on web than actually was. Cramped bedroom area. Area to bedrooms needed redecoration. Restaurant cramped.
well designed hotel, attention to detail beautiful. Our room had the best view ever stretching right down the valley with mountains eitherside and a cute little balcaony (I think we had an upgrade as we booked a twin but had a fab room with mezzanine level). The spa was great with outdoor heated pool and large indoor jaccuzzi/pool & stunning steamroom. We did not have breakfast at hotel but did stay for an evening meal which was the best during our entire stay in France - lovely flavours & presentation/staff helpful despite my poor french. Will be going again.
The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was very relaxed and lots of choice. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant but the locals think very highly of it. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in a suite, and had just the right temperature. It was ideally postioned for both the old town and the pistes. Some hotels we have visited in the past we have suffered with noise from ajoining rooms, but this was not the case for Mont Thabor, we slept soundly every night.
The staff was extremely pleasant and the location was unequivocally charming and a perfect base for exploring the local outdoor adventures Bathroom in our room.
The Gite is run by an enthusiastic and very friendly couple, Cédric and Isabelle who make you feel very much at home. To us it was like a comfortable ski chalet run by excellent hosts. We had plain but a adequate en suite room noticeably larger than one we once paid twice as much for in Val d'Isère! The optional 3-course evening meals are taken with the other guests in a family-like atmosphere and were well-cooked, substantial and served with a plentiful supply of red wine. Breakfast is very French: juice cereal, bread and jam and coffee out of a bowl. There is a ski/boot room in the basement. Great location just a short ski-booted walk from the main uplift. Free WIFI internet access. The lighting in the room needs improving
wonderful hostess, friendly, nice food, great value. TV in the room would be great
The hosts were very nice and nothing was too much trouble, we had a really nice time and felt very comfortable and relaxed with them.. more space for clothing and better lighting in the room would be nice, maybe the offer of eggs for breakfast or croissants and pain ou chocolate.
It was rather embarrassing that we had to walk on bare foot during our stay in the hotel. Since we didn't receive any excuse, the only logical explanation is that they wanted to avoid cleaning.
