Great place, fantatstic location right at the Chateaux
The room was spacious and the decoration was stylish and refined; the kettle, tea and coffee were most welcome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a quiet, restful weekend with long walks in the park of the chateau. everything was fine!
Clean room, English speaking receptionist, staff generally polite and helpful No restaurant and only a very limited menu. Wine not served by the bottle with the meal, we were forced to buy it by the glass, very expensive.
The location, the staff, the hotel ambience No porter available for luggage to room, parking arrangements, no english tv other than bbc world
The location is perfect to visit the wonderful castle (it's just across the street) and also to go shopping or eating. It was silent, clean, comfortable, with a nice mini-bar and coffee/tea set. We chose the hotel to stay for one night and continue our trip, but we found it so nice that we decided to stay one more night. The staff was also very kind to allow us to have our bikes in their depots (so we could feel safer by not leaving them attached to our car). There is a public parking just in front, but also there are more parkings all around the area (we had no problems since we stayed during the weekend, but it seems that Tuesdays and Fridays it's forbidden to park because of the street market)
A great hotel in a lovely town, a nice relaxing experience.we will come again
the position of the hotel was excellent. Lovely rooms, good service.
Spacious well appointed warm spotlessly clean Nothing
The hotel has a wonderful location across from the chateau and tourist information in a very quaint town and building. This is the cleanest hotel I have ever seen, the air is incredibly fresh and the rooms spotless! Wonderful breakfast too!
Hotel was generally very clean and staff were very helpful Parking facilities were not 'onsite' and subject to frequent unavailability.
It was a short stay. We were not able to get reservations at the restaurant but the lovely hotel clerk helped us with reservations in a town near by which was wonderful. The women who was at reception when we arrived was terrifically helpful, and very sympathetic. Made us feel very welcome and well cared for.
The support from the management to find a solution for the fact they did not receive the reservation from you. Restaurant was also very good.
Beautiful room, stunning location. Staff were initially unhelpful and unwelcoming. Ultimately they proved themselves excellent but were initially very surly.
The awesome building and ruines in a most beautiful surrounding is realy astonishing. The rooms are very clean and rustique. I can recommend this hotel to everyone! The pro's are too astonishing to think about the (bad) con's. The service sucked. Everyone was polite, but not everybody has a good comprehension of English. The reception desk was not at all in accordance with the grandeur of the hotel. Arriving at 22u15 in the hotel: they could not give me something to eat (whatsoever), the only thing they could do, was to poorly direct me to the Mc Donalds... (this is no joke!). If you see this hotel, nobody would believe this story...
The surroundings and teh restaurant. Spa out of order, gym poor quality. No tv in room.
extremely impressive building
Fantastic location No TV or internet in room.
The meal was exceptional. The service very polite and welcoming and the site itself was very beautiful They could improve providing information about the abbey and its history - unless I missed anythign obvious!
Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds, with a really superb restaurant. Not cheap, but a great treat.
Modern room, good fittings, clean. Tiny room, terrible wifi system, needs updating to an easier connection process. Reception staff patronising and begrudgingly help when asked.
clean, small room. not romantic, but good value for the money.
The room is being cleaned every day. Windows are little. If the room is infront of the lights which lit up the hotel in the evening, many insects enter through the open window. So in the summer, only in the morning you can let the window open, because during the day is too hot outside so you must keep it closed to have a cool air in the room... and in the evening - the insects! Room is suffocating without open window and with not enough light.
Very very quiet. Absolutely great staff. No problems whatsoever There is nothing wrong I can say about this hotel. I had a great time there
The hotel is located in a very calm area, not so far from the station, which is comfortable if u dont have a car. The room was ok, small, but with all facilities:D the bathroom in a room, which u can find new and very fresh, made with taste:) the cleaning woman, who didnt speak english
The price is the only reason. The curtain and bed are found several small holes burned by cigarettes, especially the room I reserve is non-smoked. The hot water comes so late that you need to wait for 30 minutes. While Booking.com mentions the free WIFI is provided. In fact it is not. This hotel uses Orange Internet, and the staff tells me I must have Orange account. Otherwise, no WIFI. Hot milk has some wired material inside!
Very friendly staff.
Hotel staff kindly sent a person to pick us up guiding to the the hotel. It was very kind for us. Bathroom was very small. But it was fit the price...?
Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean. The hotel is more suited to one person per room, business people requiring a budget overnight stay. We also had dinner and breakfast, food was average but good value for what they charged. Rooms are small, bathroom is miniscule. Shower area is the smallest I have seen. You get what you pay for and for 43 Euro/night, you can not get much better so close to Paris.
The restaurant at the hotel served a very good meal. the hotel itself was less than we expected from the information on the website.
silence and good
noisy when someone goes in the stairs or next to your door
Good price, friendly service, free Wifi/Wlan, clean. A great place if you're not looking for luxury or a central location. For those guests without a car, it would be good if the street leading up to the hotel had pavements/sidewalks.
The concierge, an older gentleman who was covering the holday of the regular receptionist, was particularly accommodating and helpful, despite not speaking English. The bathroom was a little on the small side for a 3-person room.
...... only the prize. I can survive creaky floor but smelly towels it's just too much...
The staff was outstanding. Stayed an extra night and without hesitation would stay there again. although the temperature was mild to cool, no A/C in rooms.
