Pros: Small and beautiful hotel Rooms are perfects and relaxing Staff is extra
9.5 Excellent
Pros: very good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful exclusive low key hotel. Brilliant owners of this family run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic breakfasts. Lovely gardens. Peace and tranquility personified. Not for children!( leave them at home like we did!). Terramea restaurant within walking distance is best in Porto Vecchio at same price as tourist restaurants. Go there!
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The host made us feel very welcome and provided us with some amazing suggestions for places to eat nearby. Pool is fantastic, particularly as you'll usually have it to yourself!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The clean room and well maintained room The nice balcony
Cons: Service is not available all time
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful place close to the best beaches in southern Corsica. Breakfast is out of this world, and so it's the attention to detail.
Cons: WiFi is not good. We are business people and depend on good connections to check on businesses. There is a limit to the amount of data you can use every 24 hrs. I encourage them to charge more, but remove limits to the use of the Internet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very “private” and quiet! Perfect if you want to rest on vacation! The staff was super friendly and trying to accomodate everything! Especially at breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: This location worked well for catching the ferry at Bonifacio next morning
Cons: Overpowering synthetic air fresh - no good for respiratory or asthma
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host were great.. very friendly.. we were able to visit the best beaches with their advises as well as great restaurant for the evening. Breakfast was with fresh and local product and was large. all in all.. fantastic stay
Cons: nothing..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful drive-in and surroundings. Feeling of being in a jungle. As we were upgraded, even for 1 night stay (sweet point), can state that our room was nice. The bathroom was top: super clean, relaxing jaccuzi, amenities and towels of a good quality. The room itself was spacious. The bed was comfy. Great space in a wardrobe room also. Nice point that pool towels are provided directly in a room. And, of course, the sweetest terrace drowning in greenery with amazing smell of flowers. We were able to have a morning tea there. Can't judge breakfast and the pool, havent used. But little cafe looks cute. And the view from the pool looked nice
Cons: Personally I have a problem with a stoned floor, but guess it's a norm in Corsica to keep the temperature down during the hot season.

Cons: Thé restaurant was good but not as exceptional as I had expected
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever been in. This hotel is old fashioned Relais and Chateaux at its best. Reception were wonderful. The maids in the room could not do enough.
Cons: The restaurant did not quite work for us. Not as attentive as they should be at that level.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable with excellent staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love the hotel and surroundings! Great service, great breakfast! My 4 year old really liked to play on the beautiful beach!
Cons: The pool is at spa and only for adults... not a down side but traveling with a 4 year old it would have been a plus...
Citta di Lume - Porto-Vecchio - Building
3
9.4 Excellent (101 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Città di Lume, you'll be centrally located in Porto-Vecchio, within a 10-minute walk of St Jean-Baptiste Church and Bastion de France. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was fresh and elegant, with very tasteful decorations and interior. It has an excellent location - on a quiet street, just 5 minutes walking from the city center with all the shops and restaurants. The staff was very polite and welcoming, there were all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed staying there.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay in Citta di Lume was great. We really enjoyed the comfort of the luxury studio close to the vibrant centre of Porto Vecchio. The hotel offers good breakfast and has very modern design and super comfortable beds. The free standing bath was also an absolute treat after sunny summer days.
Cons: Wifi connection is far below par, if at all working. 9 out of 10 times we we not able to get a connection at all. This is not what you should expect in such a luxury accommodation in the higher budget segment. It was impossible to check any daily news websites, let alone do some work when necessary. How is it possible that other (more remote) accommodations in Corsica managed to offer much better internet service? We did report the wifi problems to reception, but unfortunately staff could only indicate that this was just how it was in Corsica.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adjacent to the old town with beautiful modern conveniences.
Cons: Nothing. It was great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious, immaculately finished and had a very luxurious feel to it. The freestanding bath was very lavish and the toiletries provided were lovely.
Cons: The view from the balcony was very limited. We were on the second floor and whilst you Can see the sea, it’s is obscured by phone lines and less attractive trees. The swimming pool area very briefly gets sun, the majority of the day it is completely shaded. Not recommended for Sun lovers!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, modernly decorated apartment with all comforts, including kitchen and large fridge along with a tv with international channels and interactive tv. Extremely strategic central position. Very clean and quiet. Private parking always available.
Cons: The palce is right in the center of the town, although sometimes at night not easy to reach because the city closes some of the streets on nights with special public occasions, so on those days, reaching the place by car can be difficult. Everything worked nicely although wifi was a bit slow in the bedroom.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just a few blocks up the hill from the main village part of Porto Vecchio the superior loft was a great room/apartment with 2 terraces, fantastic shower and the kitchenette was very useful
Cons: Pretty bad WiFi the entire time
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful luxurious apartment, parking on site, great aircon, only few mins walk from main streets of town, lovely staff who even posted some clothes back to us we left in the wardrobe
Cons: Didn’t stock up toiletries every day, no washing machine in apartment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evrything!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I cannot recommend this property highly enough, during my 3 week stay over in 7 different properties Citta di Lume was exceptional & my accommodation highlight. The property including pool are is maintained to an exceptional standard and meticulously cleaned daily. The apartments are finished to a luxury standard, fully equipped, cleaned daily, included luxury Nuxe bathroom products and beautiful fluffy towels! The bath was an added bonus as were the two large widescreen tvs equipped with Netflix!!!! Everything about at Citta di Lume is 10/10! Congrats to everybody & i hope your excellent standards never change!
Cons: This is a minor point, i stayed on the first floor and the balcony view was limited... this is not the fault of the property i understand but when booking next time I will request an upper floor with a view if the town of Porto Vecchio!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern comfort, room is extremely clean, house keeping really pays attention to details everyday. Location can't be beaten, it is located on a quiet street but is only a mere 5 min walk to Porto-Vecchio town center! Staff at the hotel help us with everything from booking dinner reservations, sun beds at beach clubs and all the recommendations are spot on! We truly had a wonderful week.
Mariosa - Porto-Vecchio - Building
4
9.3 Excellent (121 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness !! By far one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in . The glass balcony ( all terraces have a glass wall so you can see the beach while sitting down) was spotless every day and that tells you something. The room was modern and comfortable.
Cons: The gym was not up to my standard. No air cooling system . The drinking water left in the gym was warm and two days old. Only one bike and one step master that were old. But who needs the gym when you can swim in the beautiful water. I asked for a Paddle Board and it was provided immediately. Great service.
7.5 Good
Cons: It was in the bay so lots of bugs and for a 4 star hotel it’s in the bay not on the other side which have better beach and location options. Food was okay not worth the two night stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: house keeping not really replace the toilet aminities everyday, you need to ask for additional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, fantastic room and facilities, extremely nice staff!
Cons: -
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast good Nice desing Lovely view
Cons: Staff very very very pussy You just have to spend money a lot of money... 2 sistets (the bosses)are not friendly Never smile!!!very depressi.... Not nice for the hotel guests....
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and clean rooms have met our expectations. Breakfast buffet was superb with a great selection of good quality food. We appreciated the excellent coffee support by the staff.
Cons: Water quality in this area - impacted by the nearby large ferry station - did not motivate for a swim.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very modern decor and beatiful location, room cleaning twice a day. Staff personnel very polite. The setting is lovely with a view on the port bay.
Cons: Breakfast is not included in the stay so we spent an extra €50 a day (2 people) to have a breakfast meal which had nothing special at all compared to any other hotel with continental breakfast. The beach is quite small, but most importantly the water is horribly dirty, would never even put my foot in there. The television in the bedroom only had French national channels. Not a single international channel, nor interactive tv (such as netflix) etc, so the television is completely useless for non french speaking guests (which a hotel should be expecting to host, one would assume?). So we were not able to watch the news from our country, and got very bored when the weather was bad so we stayed in. The bathroom is very pretty but it had a glass door which was right next to the head of the bed, so if one of us had to use the restroom in the middle of the night, he/she would wake up the other person with the bright light coming from the toilet, since there was no kind of shading. My boyfriend brought his professional bike with him on vacation, and asked the hotel to keep it somewhere safe, so he was led to a locked storage room where he was able to leave the bike. At checkout he goes to fetch his bike and the bike is not there. The staff at the reception make a phonecall to one of the runners/service men, and after a few minutes the bike arrives back at the hotel on a white van. The owner later explained that considering the storage room was not always locked and many people had access to it, he felt it was safer to load the bike on the hotel van in morning, to avoid too many people seeing it. It is a nice thought that they had, but a heads up would have been nice, considering for a few minutes it seemed like it had gone missing, since the staff didin't immediately seem to be aware of this protocol. Also the van left the hotel with the bike on it, which left us a little dubious. Generally at the time it just seemed a little shady.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our downstairs garden room was very quiet and peaceful. Private beach area was excellent. We loved seeing the owner's cat. Comfy bed and spacious room. Lots of fresh towels every day. Good breakfast (but very expensive per person). The burrata salad was fabulous (and huge)!
Cons: Pool was described as heated but it was very cold and hardly anyone seemed to be using it in early September. The breakfast was very expensive per person when considering the cost of the room. We had breakfast once but didn't bother for the rest of the stay. We had a couple of misunderstandings with staff despite speaking French. We booked dinner for the special "Corsican night" but were only offered the usual a la carte menu whilst watching other diners enjoying the Corsican evening. Something got lost in translation but having booked a table specifically for that night we expected the staff to know this. When we tried to ask what was happening we didn't seem to get anywhere so ordered off the a la carte menu. The housekeeping staff also let themselves into the room while we were getting changed - the "make up the room" sign (a small hessian pouch with pebbles in it) had twisted around the door handle when windy so flipped round from "do not disturb" to "make up the room". No one's fault but maybe different signage would avoid this. The door to our room had to be firmly clicked shut or it wouldn't close properly and one evening we came back to find our room had been made up but the door hadn't been shut properly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The design and layout and finish is very nice. Really we could not have wanted anything more in any aspect.
Cons: The only criticism was it was not possible to have only a small breakfast / lunchtime snack. The breakfast was €25 each every day - that's not to say it was poor value for the excellent buffet but as small eaters we would have liked a less expensive simple eating option also. Lunch cost the same - so €100 per day between us when all we wanted was some fruit and a roll and a main meal in the evening. It is noteworthy that they have a specific restriction on guests bringing food and drink in from outside - a problem I think they cause for themselves. There is an excellent breakfast stop on the left side, before joining the main road to Porto Vecchio, very basic but fantastic fresh fruit, hot drink and croissants €8.00
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Both the design and cuisine were top notch. Organic everything :) Lot's of areas to chill out & relax. Close to Bonifacio - one of the most beautiful small towns we've ever seen. Giulia was at the drop of the hat, too.
Cons: The bathtub is in the livingroom (not bathroom). It would have been supercool with an amazing panoramic view through huge windows which is not the case. There could be more vegetables and fruit for breakfast. Having said that, we always got some fresh tomatoes when we asked for it.
Cala di Sogno - Porto-Vecchio - Building

7.5 Good
Pros: Good parking and access close to a small supermarket. Great to have the pool complex open all the time.
Cons: Poor internet too slow to download. One toilet roll provided for a six night stay is amusing also one dishwasher tab and one washing machine tab! No salt or pepper in the kitchen. No change of towels offered in a six night stay!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The location is perfect. Julian was at the reception and he couldn't be more friendly and helpful.to the point of bringing our bread in the morning to our door.the view it doesn't get any better. The apartment was 5 stars and the pools and the garden were in perfect conditions and the temperature of the water spot on. After staying around Corsica this place it's exactly like it's name the DREAM HOUSE. HIGHY RECOMMENDED.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Uncomplicated check-in and check-out Helpful and friendly service Nice swimmimg pool area Beautiful view from the terrace Clean apartment
Cons: Apartment is close to a street, therefore it's noisy Furniture is partially quite used and not welcoming Overall impression: good located and functional, but not cozy enough and not really a 4* apartment
6.3 Good
Pros: The pool and the sea view was nice.
Cons: The balcony wasn't clean, the road is very near, the trucks drove all the time, it was heard to bedrooms, little noisy.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcoming staff, very friendly & helpful. Great recommendations on places to visit, & places to eat. Lovely pool area, & gorgeous views.
Cons: Didn’t like having to be charged for wifi, so we used our own data. Also wifi internet connection was poor. Also with an 8 night stay, we would have liked the rom serviced, once during that length of stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a beautiful fully AC apartment with 3 separate bedrooms on two floors, with each bedroom door opening to a patio with a view of the bay. This was mesmerizing. What a beautiful place. There was a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, and three full baths. For once we did not have to fight for bathroom space. We cooked from a grocery nearby (the grocery was expensive) and spent our evenings at the beach, but mostly in the infinity pool which was amazing with a view to the ocean. The hot tub was a great place to relax and was open 24 hours if you could wad off the mosquitoes. The hostess was extremely nice, and there is plenty of place to park. We, a family of four, did a three week tour through Europe by car, and by far, this was the most memorable place we had stayed. I wish we had spent our entire vacation in Corsica--but maybe we will, next time.
Cons: We really did not go into the beach to swim, but the kids did wade in the water, which was pleasant--until they came out, stinky. But then these are kids.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We rented a very clean apartment for 4-6 people, which was well thought-out and seemed bigger than the 60 m2 indicated in the description. It was also nice having two terraces, one of which was a private terrace for the master bedroom. The grounds are lovely and there are outdoor games available for young and old(er) in addition to the swimming pools. It was a nice service to be able to order bread or viennoiserie for delivery in the morning.
Cons: It is a small thing, but it would be helpful especially for foreign guests if a couple extra trash bags were provided as it seems silly to have to buy a roll for a one-week stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the place! The pools and the Jacuzzi are fantastic and the private terraces of each apartment overlooking the sea are stunning! My family and I were incredibly happy there.... it's the second year in a row and we surely be back!

8.3 Excellent
Cons: Poor airconditioning. Rooms cooled to 25C for ‘eco’ reasons
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff (Mrs Camilla was great), kindness, late check out availability.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a very pleasant 2-night stay. The hotel is located almost directly on the port-main road with all the restaurants, it is 15 minutes uphill to the old town center. Everything was clean, the roomsize is generous, the pool was great as well as a small lunch in the hotel bar. The personnel was nice and parking is no problem on the hotel parking place. It could be 4* from my point of view.
Cons: -
5.0 Okay
Pros: - the garden/pool was beatiful.
Cons: - Noisy. Comfort room was located by a road with noise, traffic, Music from the restaurants by the port until 1am. - The sea-view was not anything to pay extra for - the shore did not look inviting. - Some of the receptionists was not as serviceminded as I had hoped for. - the area for Location of the hotel was ok = close to the port, but it was not looking inviting. The old Town was a 15 minutes walk away. - Overall, I felt that we did not get value for money, because of the feeling/lack of good design. Not giving the special extra.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, lovely pool and rooms
Cons: Prices were extortionate but as is most of corsica it seems
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, close to restaurants and marina. Clean.
Cons: Thought it would be nicer. It was very basic. A good budget option.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely (especially thank you Camille), great location, easy parking, lovely pool (very cold though!). Hotel was well looked after and looked a lot newer than it is.
Cons: WiFi. Wasn’t very strong even near reception or breakfast rooms.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: great place to stay, good location for port access but harder to get into the center of the city (which is uphill). they provide an electric car charger that worked perfect - thank you!
7.5 Good
Pros: Overall good hotel. Good clean room, nicely furnished with a huge bed. lovely balcony, nice furniture with stunning views over the salt marshes. Was pleased to see a few flamingos had started to arrive. Lovely gardens, well kept and user friendly. Lovely pool area. Great breakfast room with either french or continental buffet breakfast.
Cons: A few niggles. Air conditioning still set to winter in mid may. So we roasted if it was off and roasted if it was on at night. Horrible plastic glasses in bathroom and horrible paper cups for the meagre tea and coffee. These were not replaced all week, so we weren't happy with that. Our bathroom glasses split after constant use but we're never replaced. We went and bought a couple of glasses in the end.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel and great staff!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views Good food Amazing rooms
Cons: 1) Staff was very Junior (mainly interns) had limited knowledge of activities 2) They tried pushing on us expensive options claiming it was the only thing available - when we checked online there were many other options
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: A lot of kids and not worth the price
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very nice, the ladies at reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful, the speedboat transfer to the beach was excellent, the skipers are very good, I expected more luxus in the hotel. This contemporary style could be very nice, if really designe furniture and decoration would be installed.
Cons: The only person is the restaurant manager (?)who was rude and made everybody down, also the waiters. He was unpolite, and rigid behavior. All the other personal are perfect!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing and the overall aperance of the proper
Cons: Expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casadelmar is fantastic and the location has a beautiful view. The swimming pool and the restaurants are very good. They have another place Castedelmar in a provate beach where you can go by the boat that belongs to the hotel and have a lovely lunch. To start try the fried calamares and sea food. They are the best ! In Casadelmar contact Ms Catarina in the reception. She is a beautiful Brazilian and was a great support giving us all the tips of places to go. Last but not least you have to rent a boat to visit all the wonderful beaches and Islands and spend one day in Bonifacio. Enjoy the best of Corsica !
Cons: If you go in the high summer it is expensive but good atmosphere and full of beautiful people.
Hotel Don Cesar - Porto-Vecchio - Building
8
9.2 Excellent (111 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free valet parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Its far from the madding crowd so nice and quiet which suited us but may not suit families with young kids as much. Staff were most accommodating and view over the water made for a nice location.
Cons: Service at breakfast was rather slow on two of our 4 days. The seating configuration of the breakfast terrace is badly designed with half of the guests facing the breakfast so only half can enjoy the view. There is very little space in the rooms for luggage. No drawers only hanging space. This Hotel needs Starwood Management and marketing to really shake it up. Even the Restaurant is isolated and has no ambience, hence no customers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, very clean and cared for. The rooms are very spacious.
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like about the property ;) On the service side however, the choice offered at breakfast was very limited and, in our opinion, not worth 35€, especially that most items come à la carte for an additional cost (9€ for fried eggs for example). And staff seemed overwhelmed by merely 10 tables... but everything else was absolutely perfect!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and clean. We were greeted by Tania who gave us exceptional service and provided an overview of hotel and even walked us to our room. Also, she was extremely helpful with recommendations for the area including dinner and wineries. We wish we could have taken advantage of the amenities, but it was too cold. The views were beatiful and the swimming pools were too. We wish we stayed longer!
Cons: The hotel was hard to fine as the signs are not clear and it’s off the beaten path. But don’t fret, once you get there you will be impressed. Also, the rooms don’t have many electrical outlets/ are hard to find.
6.3 Good
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Corridors were far to dark I didn’t like walking them alone. The cost of drinks and breakfast was exorbitant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High end cost wise but nothing is too much trouble here .
Cons: Have to drive to the old town and parking there is a total pain . Taxis are not cheap for such a short distance .

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice suite in a separate cabin. A comfortable terrace to have coffee and breakfast on, delivered quickly in the morning. An outdoor shower on an adjacent terrace. Excellent restaurant. Staff friendly and attentive. A short, pleasant walk, 15 minutes, to a beautiful beach; good to get there early as it gets crowded. Good restaurants nearby.
Cons: Trouble with their Wi Fi: inconsistent, on then off and off mostly; staff tried to fix it but still problematic. Air conditioning in the suite worked fine during the day but not cooling overnight; maybe we messed around too much with trying to adjust the settings? Think it’s a bit too pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The environment is fantastic. The hotel is easily found and it gives you a private path to go to the beach which is quite convenient. The service there is warm and thoughtful. The design of this hotel is amazing. There are also some very good hotels nearby. Really likes this hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic view.
Cons: Really really over priced. Not worth the £500/night as for that price the expectations are high. Breakfast at £30 per person was good, but again totally over priced. The property is listed as a Relais Château, not sure why as definitely not up to the standards. For examples the chairs by the pool were not very comfortable. We spent 10 days in Corsica and 3 of them at Les Bergeries. Palombagia is beautiful, but it was disappointing leaving this hotel feeling that you have been ripped off.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything from the lovely hotel grounds, relaxing room decor, exquisite cuisine, and friendly staff.
Cons: I prefer hotels where I can walk a short distance to the beach. However, this is not the situation for the best beaches in this area of Corsica.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff very nice and the boat trip we booked via the hotel with captain Philip was really unforgettable.
Cons: Internet connection was not so good. No spa facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything

Pros: -Friendly, helpful staff -Amazing location -Comfortable rooms -Beautiful grounds -Quiet
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Beautiful hotel with fantastic view and close to the splendid Palombaggia beach. The chef is outstanding and food and drinks are excellent.
Cons: Maybe facility to make tea in our room would have been nice but it’s a very small thing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A superb hotel, with all the facilities you would expect. Good car parking area, with plenty of space. Good value for money.
Cons: Only 1 thing and that is the shower, it is large and very good but the floor base area is slippery and there is no grab handle to hold onto, caution is required.the
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room with nice little extras. Large comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with large shower.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. Be great to have English TV channels.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean. I would say it has more a standard of 4 stars then 3. Very good breakfast and cozy small swimming pool!
Cons: Not very central but easy reachable with the car.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a surprise find looking for a hotel while on the ferry from Sardinia. Very easy to locate just off the main road to Bastia, ample parking (private and free), this seems to be a new concept compared to more traditional hotels like you would find in the town center. Large (35m²) modern and clean rooms with large windows opening onto a terrace, nice views of the Corsican countryside (above a commercial zone but that's OK, it's very quiet at night!), clean and light bathroom, and the icing on the cake, an indoor heated pool which we enjoyed a lot. Getting into town for dinner is a 15mn walk or 2mn drive - we felt lazy so we drove down, but had to park at some distance as the town was bustling despite the season, and ended up taking just as long.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very kind personal and very good location.Parking inside the hotel. The hotel is almost nes and designed.Good place to stay if you come to Porto-Vecchio with a car.
Cons: Personal forgot to clean our room(only one day).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A comfortable modern atmosphere, high quality facilities, everything worked just fine. It's a good base to explore Southern Corsica, includes a wide parking lot and the breakfast room is at the top floor, with an amazing view of the bay and the mountains. Not the least, our room was quiet, as requested. And the balconies are huge.
Cons: Just to say something, there should be one of those coffee machines at breakfast, instead of filter coffee, for people who would care for a hot chocolate.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is excellent! It feels new and it is nicely furnished. The room was very spacious and bed really comfy. The room was cleaned and tidied up everyday as if they were expecting new guests, even though we were there in the off-season. The hotel has a nice indoor pool on the top floor overlooking the hills. Staff was really friendly and most of all helpful - they helped us book a dinner table last minute and also found an out of hours pharmacy for us when we needed it. Overall we felt like it was under-priced for the quality of the hotel - this may be due to its location, which is on the outskirts of Porto-Vecchio rather than in town. However, the town itself is probably not the reason people come to the area, but most likely it is the beaches they are after (at least we were). In that respect the hotel is great for people that have a car - the carpark is very generous (something that can really be an issue if you stay in town or in the hills around the bay area) - we found this very convenient as we could jump in the car and access some of the most amazing beaches I've ever seen in 20 minutes max.
Cons: I struggle to find any fault with this hotel, really. Perhaps it doesn't get the best scenery, but it makes up for this in every other aspect

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great air conditioning. Tidy well kept park. Great kitchen appliances, including dish washer and washing machine. Reasonably close to beach and only short drive to Palombaggia beach and mountains.
Cons: Lounge chairs were really beds and consequently were uncomfortable to sit on for very long. The toilet was separate from the bathroom, but didn't include a hand wash basin. The breakfast cost was very high. No evening meals on site.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in southern Corsica. Less than 10 minutes to the beach with easy access to Bonifaccio, Porto Vecchio or the Bavella mountain pass. Wine degustation nearby as well. Great coffee for breakfast (if you do not prepare one in you villa).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location combining very nice beach of Santa Giulia with some good swimming pools and short distance to Porto Vecchio.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position is fabulous, with nice view over the bay of Santa Giulia. The crew is very friendly. The apartment premium is brand new and comes with some piece of very nice design furniture. Fully equipped, really top class.
Cons: Ants! Nobody’s fault, but the garden is full of ants and the apartment can easily get invaded. Fair to say that the crew intervened very quickly once informed and got rid of the insects.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely gardens and views and proximity to a beautiful beach.
Cons: Bed uncomfortable
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great holiday apartment. We had a one bedroom premium and it was just as expected in the pictures. The best thing was the balcony with the bbq and the amazing view. Apartment was clean and had cooking facilities and was very comfortable. They made us a little bed for our toddler with a bed guard and she loved it. She did sleep in the living room which was fine for us but others may prefer 2 bedrooms for kids. The bread was delivered promptly each morning and was delicious. Short walk to the beach and the cove is very family friendly with shallow clear water and sandy beaches. There are also close by cafes and beach restaurants. Staff were very helpful and booked us restaurants and had great tips for the local area. The pool was also great (there are three but we only made it to two - which was good enough so we didn’t venture out to the third).
Cons: I guess the apartment was a little small for the amount we paid. That said, this is in line with the local prices in summer so I guess if you want to come to Corsica and stay close to the beach, this is pretty well priced. You have to buy your own stuff (dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc) which seems a bit silly given the amount you are paying per night but we were going to the supermarket to get food anyway so not a big deal. I read other complaints about the distance from the beach but I thought it was close - 10 min walk at a shuffle (some people parked their cars further away than we had to walk from our room). Yes it’s uphill on the way back but you can’t expect the beach to be at your door! My only suggestions is to have a restaurant / bar on site for lunch and dinner (currently they just serve breakfast - which we didn’t have). If you don’t feel like cooking you have to go to a local restaurant (not that they are that far away). The cons are definitely few and not significant. I would come back!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice resort with man different areas to sit and relax. Nice hand for decoration and cozy atmosphere. Nice pools for families to relax and enjoy. Beach only 5 min walk.
Cons: Qualiy of breakfast was good but to little staff. Cutlery, drinks, salt/pepper should be on buffet accessible for guests to make it more efficient or one more person needed to prepare coffee / tea and serve guests. However, very nice setting for breakfast and lovely terrace.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Extremely basic
6.3 Good
Pros: Beautiful view over Santa Guilia
Cons: Loud climatization unit in one bedroom, distance from the beach appx 1200 m when staying in premium appartment G05.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place! Both the appartment, the service personell, the breakfast, the resort and of course the beach!
Cons: Evrything was perfect!

Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly and the apartment was very clean. The little beach was nice to visit in the evenings.
Cons: The price for the bed sheet and towel rental seemed a bit excessive. Didnt have a few basic things like tea towels and only 1 toilet paper roll.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Made a last minute reservation as we could not get back to Sardinia that night. Owner was very friendly and went out of her way to help us with the kids. Would definitely recommend. Nice little play area for the kids too.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: big terrace with grill, nice views on the sea, big bathroom, private beach
Cons: extra payment for towels and linen
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Better then pictures good location good beaches nearby good wifi
Cons: A mosquito net could have been nice They could include towels and sheets in the price its a bit anoying to buy them ahead No aircon in the kitchen area
7.0 Good
Pros: The apartmans are situated on hillside nice view to the bay and garden. Our apartman was just above the busy higway but closing the entrance door the noise stayed ouside. Small bathroom but very clever in design. Host was very kind.
Cons: The apartman kitchenware were absent e.g. one lid we could not make big cooking. It was difficult to keep ants out of the apartman. Could not enjoy sitting eating on terrace due to noise from traffic from near road. The beds were uncomfortable. Double bed could be small for big ones.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, private access to beach, BBQ facility, good amenties
8.8 Excellent
Cons: You have to ask and pay for linen ?!?
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The wondeful view and the architectural way it was conceived. Stones and a lot of plants and flowers. Very appropriate with the Corsica landscape.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location on the waters edge a short walk to the lower town restaurants, marina and shops! It’s not in the old town up the top of the hill! The rooms with a sea view are much better!
Cons: It had all the facilities for a 3 star hotel!
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic location. Lovely seawater swimming pool.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and location great.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location and spectacular staff. When you go for a holiday to a new place you need more than just a friendly smile, you need hotel staff that are knowledgeable about the different aspects of local life (where to eat, where to visit, how to get there etc). Les Roches Blanches is exemplary on this front. From the moment you check in they check on you to ensure they are there to help you as much as you want. It also helps that everything is walking distance from the hotel. Air conditioning is excellent too; important because Corsica can get blazingly hot. Highly recommended if you ever get to Porto Vecchio
Cons: Extremely convenient. Comfortable and super friendly staff make sure you have much to like about Les Roches Blanches. The rooms are little light on amenities you get used to in different parts of the world - the minibar, the robes, slippers and toilet kits; on the upside the rooms are bigger than the standard fare across Europe and they have nice large sit outs. Overall, great views make up for the few basics that you can always carry with you anyway !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is very clean and accessible. Great parking area if you're driving. Good walking distance to center of town. Good value for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.
Cons: Only minor thing was that sometimes there would be a bad smell coming from the drainage in the bathroom which I know is typical in Europe. But was not unbearable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The hotel was immaculately clean and fresh. Our balcony had a lovely view. We had breakfast by the pool. We would definitely return to this hotel.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What is not to like about this place! The staff were tremendous and basically gave me enough tips to fill the next three days, all equally brilliant. Everything is brand new, the room is small but really nice with the balcony.
Cons: Nothing I disliked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, location and room. Pool was also nice and the breakfast decent. Easy parking.
Cons: Breakfast should almost be included in the price of the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything is great.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice garden and pool with a chilled atmosphere, helpful staff and tasty dinner!
Cons: No fridge in the room - it could be useful e.g. to keep some water / drinks cold in the summer days
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great resort in rural area just out of town. Very nicely set up with seating areas in the garden, great food truck serving lunch, very good dinner possibilities. Whereas we usually go out, we now stayed on the premises all of our stay.
Cons: Nothing really. Maybe the unexpected charge for towels for the swimming pool. They were handed to us as ‘loan’ but turned out ‘rent’.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean room Nice stuff
Cons: Very small room No fridge in the room Very poor WiFi connection
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This lovely B & B is nestled in a wonderful garden. The property has places to sit and relax and have a coffee in a comfy chair. It was raining so we didn't use the pool, but it was beautiful, with lots of loungers to lie on and the pool was heated which was a plus for Corsica. There was also a jacuzzi that people were enjoying. The room was comfortable with a nice shower and a balcony overlooking the impressive gardens. It was a short car ride to town. At lunch there was a food truck with gourmet burgers, salads and other things to choose from the menu. There was a large covered patio to sit under even when it was raining (which for us it was ) Dinner was offered at a reasonable price and although we went into town for our meal, the menu du jour looked very good. I would definitely stay longer at this restful little B & B and would highly recommend it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and for the price, it was very well worth it.
Cons: If you had limited mobility, you would need to stay on the bottom level as there were two flights of short stairs to our upper floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facilities, perfectly kept gardens and pool area, rooms kept spotless every day, professional friendly staff and the quality of the fantastic food best we had on Corsica, don’t hesitate just book this fantastic little gem of a hotel we’ll be dreaming of it for a long time
Cons: We couldn’t fault anything
7.5 Good
Cons: Hard to lock door to room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are amazing and their are lots of activities outdoors. Great pool/sauna/spa area. The staff are lovely and very accommodating and helpful giving advise on the town. Also helped abit that they all spoke English which is not so common in coraica.
Cons: Not tea/coffee in the rooms. Brealfast wss a bit expensive for what it was. The location is a short distance from.the city center but still needs a car to reach.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice staff, Quick airport transfer Cheap parking
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful peaceful grounds which contain the lovely swimming pool and the outdoor eating area which was idyllic for breakfast and evening meals. Excellent breakfast and evening meals, the latter from a two-option menu which was fine. Our room was pleasant, if not the largest, with a balcony overlooking the grounds.
Cons: The hotel is out of town on its own so you have to drive anywhere you want to go including the local town. That really wasn't a problem to us as it is such a lovely peaceful location and you can eat and drink well on site in the evening.

Cons: A bit out of town, not too many restaurants around.
7.5 Good
Pros: We enjoyed our stay here and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Cons: We did not rent a car during our stay, this is recommended as the B&B is located out side of the town. No shops nearby at walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant outdoor area
Cons: Breakfast time, check-in time
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is very large, clean and comfy, in front of the swimming pool. Large bathroom. The swimming pool is great. The breakfast is great.
Cons: Be careful: check-in outside the reception hours can be refused by the host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, super setting, charming hosts.
Cons: Tranquility, pool, nice rooms.
6.3 Good
Pros: The owners were very nice, the room modern and clean
Cons: A bit expensive for the location. What I don't find acceptable is the hygiene around the dogs. My wife and I loved dogs, having one our self, and we understand that sometimes they will do their business on inappropriate places. But this has to be rectified asap and cleaned properly. By the way, the pool had way too much chlorine.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place and The host are really nice and friendly.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Modern & Spacious, nice bed True king Size 2x90cm = 180cm
Cons: Location a bit difficult to locate
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The roof top swimming pool with sea view and warm water.
Cons: Facilities and service are rather of a 3-star level.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable and from the balcony we had a beautiful view on the Santa Giulia Bay
Cons: The swimming pool of the hotel has a beautiful view over the Santa Giula Bay, but it is so unfortunate that the pool area is so neglected. All the parasols were broken and lumped together. It was not pleasant to sit at the pool. A real pity especially since the pool area has such a great potential!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel. I would book it again immediately. Great view of the bay. Delicious breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant staff Amazing location and room views
Cons: Bar facilities Buffet breakfast quite limited choice No lunchtime refreshments light snacks or poolside service
7.0 Good
Pros: We liked the location close to Santa Giulia beach, the neighborhood in general was also quite peaceful. The room was very clean and modern. I really liked the pool area for relaxing.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was not at all worth the money - breakfasts we had at a much cheaper accommodation in Corsica were far better, for example. This breakfast did not include fresh fruit (the fruit basket was a bit dry), any homemade items, or anything cooked. It was just a standard ‘continental’ buffet. That’s OK - but not worth the price. Our balcony view was quite nice but invisible when sitting down because the matte glass covers the view at that level. Last, the bathroom could use much more shelving and hooks - there was barely any space around the sink to put our toiletries, and only one towel hanger.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room and view. Friendly staff.
Cons: The sunshades round the roof pool were mostly broken (wind damage) . Breakfast was 15 euros per head, this is too much if you only want a light breakfast. The quality was satisfactory but very much standard fare.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big room with perfect sea view !! people are very very nice, good breakfast :) They offer free beach towels as well !! Easy to get only if you have a car
Cons: We would prefer a double bed but it was actually two single beds side by side :(
7.5 Good
Pros: Great views, quiet and comfortable room, all very clean.
Cons: Staff not overly friendly, the hotel needs a lot of love (plants nearly all dead, pool furniture never arranged or laid our properly, dishes not cleared off coffee tables). Nice hotel, but lacking lots considering it has four stars and is expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really good and the staff were very nice and helpful and speak English! We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.
Cons: It was a bit far from the beach. Not too much though. About 20 minutes walk. But you need a car to get there and from there to restaurants and other activities.

Cons: Be careful not to leave your things unattended !!!
7.5 Good
Cons: No toilet provided after check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, piece and quiet, very clean room, great pool and friendly staff. Nice breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: - Very close to the beach, 10 min by feet - Very friendly staff - Big room with own
Cons: It’s not really a draw back of the location but they don’t serve dinner. There are plenty of restaurants at the beach and reachable within 10 min by car. Porto Vecchio is just 20 min by car.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were v friendly and helpful, and the Hotel is in a beautiful spot near the beach, with a stunning pool. Overall, this is a lovely little hotel but price point, transport and location are all things to consider before booking.
Cons: The room was clean and perfectly fine, however, for €290 a night (excl breakfast at €12.00 each), we had expected the room to be more luxurious. The cost was considerable for the quality of room, services, extra touches etc. Also, whilst there are a couple of beach restaurants nearby, to get anywhere else you definitely need a hire car (as even the 20 minute journey to Porto-Vecchio costs between €35-70 one way!).
5.0 Okay
Cons: Very old rooms, not nicely decorated

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nicely located hotel, great selection at breakfast, very helpful staff- they helped us to arrange a taxi several times and one of the staff was so kind to even give us a ride to take a bus at the port on the last day! Such a kind lady, we really appreciated it! Nice facilities as well, recently renovated and modern. It's a historical hotel in Porto Vecchio :) we loved our stay!
Cons: The budget rooms are a bit small
8.8 Excellent
Pros: almost in the center of the town, efficient use of every centimeter in otherwise small room :-), delicious typical French breakfast, hotel parking place
Cons: uncomfortable, upholstered bed
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly yet professional. Super-clean and well-presented hotel. Easy to feel at home / relaxed. Great central location. Excellent breakfast
Cons: The breakfast room had large glazed doors to the attractive street vista but they were glazed with obscured glass and locked shut. The result was a feeling of being trapped / hidden away from view. Strongly suggest the glazing is replaced by clear glass as in the lobby area. I took my coffee into the lobby !! I am an architect btw !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: There was nothing to not like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Very close to town centre and we were able to park motorbike in the garage next to the hotel. Very relaxing stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, clean, good shower
Cons: additional charge for parking, 'courtyard' looks like an emergency access stairwell, images of window views not accurate
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right in the city which is great. The staff is very friendly. Our room was a bit small but it was not a great deal. Other than that we were happy to stay at Holzer. Recommended.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: could not get on internet with iPad Laptop and mobile ok.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, though a little hectic as everyone descended at the same time. The rooms are a good size but a little dark (see didn't like section), the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great for the town and all the amenities. All modern facilities that you would expect and a very good standard of décor and furniture.
Cons: The hotel is in practise two buildings placed together with rooms at the front a small physical gap and a second building straight behind - you do not notice in some ways as the passage ways are continuous. As a result the light going down to the building behind is reduced and the natural light going into the room is lessened, this may not apply if you get a different room. The passage ways leading to the rear building have numerous segments of stairs or steps and so of limited use if you struggle to walk.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big rooms with private patio. The garden is very well kept and offers plenty of seating and sunning areas. Hotel offers free transport to the beach, but it is really just a short walk. We had one meal at the hotel restaurant and we really recommend doing that. We loved the little cafe (paillote) down by the beach as well, and whatever you eat/drink there can be paid at the end of the stay. Very practical so you don’t have to bring money to the beach. The staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. We would go back anytime, we had a very nice stay!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This family-run property was delightful! Tastefully decorated with an eye to quality, this was a lovely place to stay and relax. I chose it for its proximity to the Palombaggia beach. Breakfast was good with an assortment of freshly baked breads, fresh eggs, muesli and fruit. Dinner was fine and featured ravioli, magret de canard, gambas, lamb chops, gnocchi, nice salads, vegetables and very good Sardinian cheese.
Cons: It would have been helpful to have a sheet with important information in the room: number to dial to get reception, hours reception was staffed, hours for breakfast. It was unfortunate there was no internet in the room, but I was able to use the reception area. It is not an ideal location if you don't have a car as taxis are horribly expensive.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located for Palombaggia Beach (10 minutes' walk away), only 20 minutes from Porto Vecchio by car, family run with friendly and competent staff, owner interesting to talk to about Corsica. Free WiFi available in the main reception area, but not in the guest rooms. Terrific swimming pool.
Cons: A little bit hard to find - a sign at the Palombaggia turn off from the T10 road (heading out of Porto Vecchio towards Bonifacio) pointing towards the hotel would be helpful as the car SatNav couldn't find the address.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A brilliant location just near a wonderful beach. Our room was exceptional and the staff lovely. Very relaxing place to stay.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The rooms and pool are beautiful, as in the pictures.
Cons: The building and hotel is not being kept very well, which is a shame because the building itself is beautiful. There is no internet all over the property - just a little bit of connection in the dining area. It is not a spa hotel - there is a pool and a jacuzzi but no spa treatments. There were few other guests alongside us. Everything costs extra. We paid for breakfast but would not recommend anyone to do so as the quality of the food was not great - it did not seem to us that is was freshly made every day. Do not have dinner here either - it was the most expensive dinner we had all week and not the best one at all. There is a shuttle service to the beach but it costs €20 to rent a chair and this service is not run by the hotel at all - even though it is advertised as private beach on the hotel website. It seems the main interest of the owners is to extract money from the guests - they do not look after their guests much. The owners live on the property and have small children, which can get quite noisy. There are also quite a few small dogs and cats around the dining area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything owners and staff were so helpful couldn't fault it
Cons: Nothing
