We liked the location of the hotel, the staff was very friendly and it wasnt crowded, in fact, I think we were practically the only ones there except when they got a tour busload, a couple times a week for overnight stays. the laundry lost some of our clothes we sent to be washed, two pair of womens slacks and a brand new mans sportshirt, plus some smaller items
Very comfortable room, big size. Nice swimming pool. Friendly staff. Very poor breakfast!!! In booking it was written about lunch, costs 16 EUR. In information book in the room was written time 13.00-15.00. But it wasn't
Hotel As was value for money in Split which is quite expensive city for accommodation. We were only there for the one night arriving in the evening and the restaurant served good food and cold beer! Hotel As does not have a lift/elevator. Rooms are airconditioned, but the hallways are not. Somewhat problematic in the summer time when very hot temps last into the night.
very little The location is poor but only a 8 minute taxi ride from centre so is not a deal breaker. The reception staff were arrogant and unfriendly. The room was far too small. No lift so not good if disbaled, older, pregnant or just travelling with heavy bags. breakfast choice was very poor. Also, price quoted on website is not the price you pay - quoted in Euro but paid in local currency, the difference can be significant if staying over a number of nights. In conclusion, not recommended.
Hotel was only recently built when I stayed there. Therefore there`s not much to mention about in terms of cleaniness which was good when I stayed there Too far away from the main city centre and transport facilities These are 2 very important points from a tourist point of view. Breakfast was a bit ordinary
hotel was very nice, fairly new. we choose this hotel as there were few available at the time horrible area, industrial area. fair way out of town
sleeping for one night it is quiet dificult to find it a GPS position would be fine
not too much. clenliness of rooms was the best feature. yes a lot. location was in an industrial area which we didnt get told when we booked. it was no where near town or anything good. bed linen and towels were very old and worn out. The toilet flush sounded like and aeroplane taking off and was very loud for a prolonged period after you flushed. The door to the room didnt lock and the staff were not interested in our concern about it. it was not good value for money - was much more expensive than other places we stayed in croatia which were much nicer for less.
The reception staff was quite collaborating breakfast poor quality, rooms too small. The location is quite ugly, near factories.
The receptionists were very helpful! It was hard to find. After asking locals they directed us to a different Omladinski Hostel, which was a school in the west of the city. If you book this, you need to look for Hotel Dujam which is a hotel in the same building as the hostel.
Had a fan. Poor location - further away from old town than we expected, and was difficuilt to find.
nothing bad location, and a bit to basic, even as hostels go !
This place is fine if you're in Split on a very tight budget and don't mind a 10-15min walk into town. The rooms are institutional, functional and clean enough. Bit tricky to find. Email the nice English speaking staff and ask for precise directions.
The people at the receptiondesk were very helpful! The hotel was hard to find... The hotel has another name... There is no sign indicating "Omlandinski Hote"l. This name can only be seen when you are in front of the hotel... The hotel itself is in a small side-road
Excellent location; very friendly staff; cool design; spacious rooms Parking difficulties (partly due to the excellent location :-); breakfast good, but not outstanding
New hotel with comftarble rooms, pleasent staff. Placed in the heart of old city of Split.
I liked Anna ,at the reception ,who was warm, kind and helpful. I also liked the bed and the bathroom One of the little pillows smelt as already used. The bowl in the bathroom was not absolutely clean.
Small friendly with great outdoor terrace. Breakfast was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help with everything! Love this place and will definitely return! Location was perfect!!!
Excellent location! Boutique hotel (rooms small) in the old, pedestrian only, part of Split. Gives a wonderful introduction to this city. If chartering a boat, you can take the water taxi directly to the aci docks. A little tricky to find when the taxi let us off at the edge of the pedestrian part of town, but finding it was an adventure and it was not far. Have luggage with wheels! Bring your own washcloth and showercap.
Good location, helpful staff Breakfast could be improved. Bathroom needs towel rails and a proper overhead shower would be an advantage.
Attractive room. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location The shower panel was fixed so you had to get in to the bath to turn on the tap.the air conditioning only worked if the window was shut but there was no notice to this effect so I spent some time fiddling then had to phone reception
Great location, comfortable rooms, nice design and tasty breakfast. Nice experience.
Breakfast was great, friendly staff who helped us alot with bookings and questions!
The design and comfortable size of room. N/A
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well positioned easy access to all amenities - shopping, restuarants, busses, boats ,sightseeing. Beautifully appointed rooms, very modern and clean. As part of a large group we were all looked after extremely well just as if we were family. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Marmont Hotel.
Friendly family, helpful and excellent close vacinity to the old town of Split ideal for ferries and bus station.
Great hosts, spotless, close to everything, nice decoration, very cozy. Perfect value for money! Some problems with air conditioning in both rooms. I'd suggest putting a shower curtain in room 1. And maybe clean the water heater inside :-)
The owner of the guesthouse and his wife were so sympatic and helpfull
Excellent location, very nice owners, generous service
Wonderful owners of hotel! Very valuable price and right level of service. In the center of city. In private owned building. Not an appartaments, but is home hotel. Замечательные и очень внимательные владельцы. Номер соответствует соотношению цена/качество. Прямо в центре города, частный дом, очень душевно!
friendly family run and good location
The proprietor was extremely helpful and gracious. Short walk to back entrance of palace and rest of downtown. Nice view out of small bedroom to backyard garden. The pillows were heavy and hard.
Kocation and frendliness of the entire family
near to the old city and not far to the beach, best service, the senior took us in his car to the harbour nothing
Hosts were wonderful. Rooms pleasant and convenient. I recommend this hotel-apartman.
Very clean and modern room, good location.
Nice host who let us check in early as soon as we arrived from the airport. Everything looked newly appointed, meaning a nice bathroom, newly painted, etc. Easy walk to the centre and had airconditioning, which is pretty important in Croatia in Summer! No complaints really, perhaps except for the price, although tbh it was one of the cheapest we found near the centre
Good location (near to Diocletian Palace), air condition in the room, hospitable staff, original design of the room (I stayed in red one, there is also orange and green) Room is not well sound-proof, so sometimes night noises from outside were bothering even with closed windows. Bed is a little short for me, though I'm not very high person (approx 165 sm). No breakfast is included.
We were picked up (for free) by the owner from the ferry port and shown to our room, a short walk away. Our host was very friendly and always available if needed - a cheap transfer to the airport the next day was also provided. The room itself was spacious, new and well-decorated, with a gorgeous bathroom and outside there was space to hang clothes out to dry and a barbecue area. It was quiet, felt very safe and was set in an old part of the town, just 5 minutes' walk from the seafront. Highly recommended!
The room was in another building, about 15 minutes on foot from the main building. However, the location is very good, old town, 5 minutes from the Riva, yet still in a quiet place. Good and free internet connection and air condition. No TV.
The hotel was a well run and friendly family business. They were very helpful and kind when I injured my foot and needed extra support. Having hurt my foot I would have appreciated a lift to my second floor room, but it's a small hotel and I don't know where they could have put one.
The staff of the hotel was very kind and polite and the lokation of the hotel was more than perfect. To get parkingplace close to the hotel because of the narrow streets in the downtown was sometimes not easy but at the end allways successfull:-)
Great location, friendly staff.
Beautifully equiped but extremely small room
Freindly helpful staff. Comfortable bed with all usual facilities in room. Spotlessly clean. We were lucky to get the room with balcony. No tea or coffee making facilities in room (but I know this is normal in some countries). Room not very large.
Hotel Trogir was a nice hotel. Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Not very big, but okey for just a couple of days. The price was okey. Okey breakfast included. Only downside was the personal. They knew very little about Trogir and actually gave us wrong information about ferry times. They also did not seem familiar with booking.com and payment procedure. Would stay there again.
The shutters, the shower for croatia was nice and big the bathroom amenties The street noise is very loud
Kind personel, the hotel is placed really nice, good restaurent, free parking near hotel
A well-located and comfortable hotel. It would have been useful to know the parking arrangements before our arrival.
The hotel is very modern and kind of stands out as a bit out of place given some of the other places I stayed in Croatia. However, it was still lovely. The staff were great, the location was ideal and the breakfast was extensive and delicious.
The accomodations and service were extraordinary and the location is perfect.
Very friendly staff, nice breakfast
Very comfortable accommodations, good location, friendly staff, interesting site. No.
Good Hotel, doesn't have a bar facility, sea view rooms available. the climate control in the room could not be regulated below 22* C, when opened the balcony door the chimney smoke and the kitchen smells come in from the restaurant below.
This is an excellent boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room (superior double with balcony and sea view) was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom was large, modern and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality bed linen. Flatscreen tv with lots of English channels. The hotel is walking distance to the port, beach, train station and old town. The breakfast was outstanding with friendly staff. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. The only things stopping our stay from being perfect was not having tea and coffee making facilities in our room, and the wifi not working in the room. We had to go out into the hallway to get wifi but lost it as soon as we went into our room. Small things that would definitely not stop us from returning or recommending the hotel to others.
Very beautiful look on the seas and old city from a window of number, a magnificent interior it is poor breakfast, there is not hot eat
Balcony sea view Bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced. Room was not cleaned nor were beds made.
very friendly staff
Very peaceful and quiet. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Not much within walking distance.
Good size clean family room with 2 nice bathrooms and a great sea view only 10 minutes from central Trogir by water taxi.
The room was very comfortable, the staff were above and beyond helpful and accomidating. Our room had a lovely patio with a great veiw. There was no elevator, but staff did help with our luggage. This is not a complaint, ment just for information to other travelers. The hotel was great
Good value for money. Staff friendly and room clean and tidy. Provided a babycot with clean, fresh linen. Located near the airport which was very convenient after a arriving late at night.
Very clean and courteous. Excellent for those wanting efficient airport transportation.
We used this hotel for transit through Split - good location and staff.
very friendly and efficient
It was well appointed and extremely handy for the Airport, but most of all the staff were really friendly, in particular Ivona who made our stay so enjoyable, we wish to thank her for making us so welcome.
Small, tidy, and cozy hotel situated near the split airport. We stay just one night as we had early-morning flight but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our rate included a breakfast but our flight was leaving too early, the staff packed us a tour go breakfast and helped us with our luggage. They also offer a free airport shuttle on demand. Nothing
nothing special but was ok
servicen to far from the city
The manager/owner is extremely friendly when you get to know him and he and his staff are very helpful. The hotel is situated about ten minutes from the centre and 10-15 from the best panorama point in the town. Beaches are further away: 25-30 minutes on foot. We stayed a week and were thoroughly satisfied with everything. The hotel caters mainly for one and two day city-hoppers so breakfast was simple and plain with no variety - only boring for longer stays. The hotel is situated surrounded by high-rise and rather ugly buildings but we never felt uncomfortable (the natives are friendly!).
This hotel was very convenient for the old city centre of Split - just a 10min walk. Also within an easy walk was the park of Marjan Hill and the famous Poljud Stadium. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The convenient location of the hotel was offset by the fact that it was not an ideal holiday location due to its lack of good views to enjoy, and the immediate surroundings were somewhat scruffy.
Location, close to the center of the town, vicinity of places of interest , Dioklecian's palace, harbour , old city The room was extremely small , crowded with furniture , almost imposible to move arround, but well eqiupped ( TV, AC, Bath ,Toilet , car parking facility )
Everything but the price. However hotel pricing in Split does seem to be higher then I would have expected (liked). Finding it the first time can be a bit frustrating. A sign at the at the point of access at the street would have been helpful.
Friendly and helpful family hotel. Airport shuttle service at 5am! Very smart and clean
room was ample , bathroom very much so. bathroom could have better shelf space for toilettories etc no
We had 3 nights in a larger room upstairs with a small view of the water, roof tops, and township. The beds were comfortable & clean and bathroom very dark, but adequate. A very basic room. However there were quite a few wooden spiral stairs to navigate with our luggage although we did have some assistance. Downstairs the breakfast was served in the restaurant which was brought to your table, and dinner at night in the same restaurant was expensive but satisfactory. Finding the Pansion was rather difficult being hidden away in a very narrow back street. We had to ask locals the location. The small car park about 30 metres away from the Pansion was cramped, and not easy to negotiate. The reception area was often unattended & very spartan, but the staff were pleasant.
It was quiet and easy to use. I liked to use the amenities and it was close to Salona Not enough towels. IT link on the computer in the room.
Although the hotel wasn't totally finished, the staff were very friendly and helpful and you weren't aware of the work going on. Lovely decor and lovely food also
Never a 5 star hotel
Hotel is unfinished, service max. 3 star, never a 5 star hotel. Cheap for a very Comfortable hotel room.
The hotel has a large swimming pool and it is close to many points of interest: Solana, Trogir, Split, Klis. Very poor isolation of walls between rooms, no isolation door to gangway. No orange juice in the morning, but a kind of brown colored nectar... poor breakfast buffet
Rate, kindness at the reception and restaurant, nice breakfast. Rooms not very comfortable, no elevator, ubication, very difficult to find unless you have a GPS...
Breakfast was very nice & served well. We especially enjoyed the quietness of the area.
Great location with views of the water through the palm trees and yachts. Next to yacht club so could access there facilities like washing machines.
A large house by the ACI Marina, actually on the island of Ciovo which connects to Trogir by a bridge 200 metres from the Domus. The room had good aircon, adequate bathroom with shower and a balcony overlooking the garden with it trees and several sculptures created by the owner. A couple of pergola/ten
