great hotel, fantastic swim up bar. rooms very clean . a very enjoyable stay. cental location .. overall a great place to stay
We enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly & helpful. Nice character & atmosphere The massage at the Spa (for Bali) was not up to standard
it is nice to out of the "thick of things", good area to eat.
The hotel staff were very accommodating and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and were made up each day with fresh sheets duvets and towels.
Gardens, plenty of sun lounges expensive internet - previous hotel we paid 10,000 IDR for 1 hour! Bathroom easily became wet when showering - water everywhere. Couldn't get taxi from hotel. Requested twin beds, got a double. Requested late checkout, not available. And room 1111 was very noisy at night.
great landscaped gardens good beach access receptions ready agreement to change rooms to overcome noise problem shortage of pool towels desk will not call taxis very noisy corridors and gathering areas at top of each stairs partularly late at night poor noise deadening between floors
Great location, helpful staff. I booked the deluxe chalet but this was just a deluxe room and there was no private area
The hotel was right on the beach and eating places, shops/markets were within easy walking distance. the pillows were a little to firm.
The Gardens and pool were great The rooms need to be sound proofed i could here the people in the next room word for word
We were upgraded in to a villa by the beach. We were all pleasantly suprised and the location was awesome. Beautiful view, nice rooms, perfect location.
The Location of the hotel / proximity to the night clubs on the right ie cocoon, dejavu and 66 and restaurants on the left ie zanzibar and a few others. The pool... a bit dissappointing and the Room Service...always running late.
The pool looks beautiful but is too deep with no shallow sections so hard to just relax in unless you use the kiddies pool.
O-CE-N has a good position, the hotel is very new and the staff is professional. The beach is only 10 meter from the hotel and in the zone there are many facilities for surfer, many clubs and resturant We needed to manage the price for the hotel taxi because they asked 4 times comparing how much we paid for the normal taxi... arriving to a price that was double.
Big, spacious rooms, great restaurant and bar, great beach outlook. Perfect location for access to shopping areas, spas, pubs, restaurants. Beach across the road is perfect. The whole pool arrangement is not good. Too small, too many steps, very dangerous for kids. The width of the pool near the bridge encourages kids to jump in. I bet a lot of injuries are sustained around the pool. I would also like to see more thought go into shielding the third and fourth floor balconies from other guests. It feels like everyone is watching you. I know we stayed in peak season, but on balance, I also think the accommodation is expensive.
Nice, clean and big rooms. Good food & excellent staff. They invoice in IDR, so when you've made your booking in US$, you probably gonna pay some extra dollars because of change rates.
Very clean, polite and friendly staff, very central to restaurants. Lack of anything Indonesian ie tropical gardens, Indonesian music etc
The decor and location of accommodation near to a great beach
Location is very good, cutomer service and staff is nice, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Gardens are lovely. It's hard to move around with stroller as there're stairs everywhere. Not enough funs/ A/C at breakfast area. Depending on the room you get, could be a little noisy.
It felt safe, and was clean and relatively new. The clean marble look is great, but can be slippery in the room and poolside. Also, the shower floor was not level, so the shower water pooled in the middle of the bathroom instead of going down the plughole. This made the slippery situation even more dangerous (especially with children).
location and atmoshpere No king size bed avaialble although already put my preference.
Clean, lovely breakfast area and buffet, pool recliners always available, no towels left on chairs for hours so no-one else could use like at some hotels. not met at entrance when first arrived.
Good for surfers not good for families beach club is a joke they have 6 sunbeds!!' Really noisy no soundproofing
The hotel staff were courteous. The breakfast - very oily food and not much choice. A lot of flies and coffee hosue is just in front of main road so very noisy.
The hotel was very clean and well maintained We booked a king bed and on check in were told they didnt have any - no room for compromise
Location is very central, close to the beach,2 min with Vespa and 5 min walking distance.Shopping, restaurants, and night out places are all nearby as well.Very friendly staff, nice modern decoration, large hotel(was impressed, thought it was smaller).Breakfast is also complete, very international.Nice swimming pools, relaxing. We had to stay 3 days in a Suite before we moved into a standard room and there we had just one problem:the bathroom.Suite was large, nice, quiet, but the bathroom had poor light and the bath tub was clogged(we asked to be fixed, but apparently it didnt help whatever they did). The Standard room was better.Had a large shower and the light was good.
Acces direct to the nice Beach of Kuta. When booking we were advised we will have access to the "Garden Lounge", but finally the General Direction refused us this access regarding our E-mail Booking!! In July difficult to find a sun bed near the swimming pool. The hotel is overcrowded. A huge part of the hotel is on rehabilitation works: This generate heavy noise which is disturbing for a real relaxing. Restaurant not available. the SPA has provisory moved in a simple room. A lot a services not open due to rehabilitation works. but the price is the full services price.
The Padma has great facilities, very clean and grounds beautiful & well maintain. The buffet breakfast included in our price was great and value for money. Great for couples, groups & families. When asking for information or questions the staff knew very little or didn't know at all. It was hard to get an answer to something which was alittle worrying as I was pregnant. Hardly any chairs free by the pool, It was also very annoying that people would leave their towels on chairs and leave for a couple of hours, just so they can keep their spot by the pool. Although there is a sign saying you can't leave your belongings for longer than an hour! It takes quite a few emails for someone at the Padma to get in touch with you, espically if you are trying to organise transport pick up from airport. Make sure you give plenty of notice if you want to be picked up!
The hotel is clean, luxurious with beautiful gardens and excellent facilities. Children are treated wonderfully by staff at all times.
The buffet and other menus were excellent. The location was good - close to the beach and Legian restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly. We paid for a room with access to the private club, which was not good value for money. Room was not ready when we checked in. Children under 13 not allowed into the club during happy hour. Pool was large but surrounded by a sea of mostly reserved deckchairs.
Hotel was very nice, modern and staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were modern and clean and had good facilities.Good breakfast included also, and pool areas and proximity to beach amazing. Wifi in room was periodic and only had limited signal. Room could be very noisy in morning with cleaning staff and younger guests outside of room. Otherwise very satisfactory.
The resort was beautiful. The breakfasts incredibly diverse. Location was great. Hardly noticed the building works that were going on.
The grounds, the buffet breakfast and the very attentive staff I thought the food and drinks were slightly over priced
The location is perfect: true beach front and 15mins walk from the kuta vibrant centre. so clean, nice gardens, walkways, good pool/bar. the food is perfect and the breakfast can cover lunch and dinner;) we have been upgraded for free as well!!
nice rooms, beautiful terretory, location noise isolation of the rooms is poor but it wasn't a problem for us
It is peaceful and quiet. There were always a few ants in the room.
Quiet as it is hidden and away from the streets, my room had a small garden and was three steps to the nice pool with bar inside. It was in september, so business was quiet anyway. I guess it can be very noisy with children playing in the pool when it is more busy. I stayed here only 1 night, but the impression that I have is very positive. Good place to stay on your last nights in Bali, as it is close to the airport, the stretch of international/Balinese restaurants on the beach side is a stroll away and shops are everywhere. Breakfast was efficient but not so much choice. 1 type of juice only which is unbelievable given the amounts of fruit hanging down every tree. I brought 4 big boxes of fresh strawberries the night I arrived, and suggested it for breakfast. The receptionist accepted gratefully, but somehow no strawberries the next morning. And there was a lot of bleach in the pool water. I told the reception and they would do something about it.
near from centre, staff breakfast, price in confront of other same category hotel
Only stay one night and found another hotel,as I do not walk around in the dark, and I would have had to be back at the hotel by dark around 6pm and stay in the room.not much of a hotel to stay in the room.
the swimmingpool was very good and the hotel position is near the seaside
My room was very clean, large comfortable bed, very quaint hotel in a great location. the staff were very friendly & always helpful.
Beautiful setting with a cool, comfortable room beside a restful swimming pool; delightfully relaxing
Nice staff and clean and proper room. We arranged an airport pick-up, but when we arrived at the airport no-one was there..
amazing garden&pool, nice local music in restaurant airconditioning system was old and extreamly noisy
