Quick check-in,friendly, nice room. Good position for our function
Secure parking, price and location.
The room was clean enough, the television worked. It was as I would have expected based on previous experience of Campanile. Noisy, not enough milk for hot drinks. Staff did not seem to speak very good English.
the breakfast was too small to entice our party to have one. instead we enjoyed a big breakfast around the corner. a french owned hotel with the typical english values of not giving value for money.there is nothing worse than paying for a meal eating it then leaving hungry.although the hotel is dirty, it is not yet highly visible the problem needs to be arrested in its infancy. there was water staining on the ceiling in the bathroom and an orange substance in and around the shower head (i did not use the shower for this reason. the corner behind the bathroom door was dirty the floor had been cleaned but the insoluble dirt and hair was deposited here. there was a substance on the headboard that should have been cleaned off before our arrival but was missed there was some damage to the room ie iron burn on the carpet, chipped bath, door lock fitting. my overall view is that there is a lack of inspection with regards to the cleaning and the breakfast should be larger.for an hotel at this current standard £35-£38 per night would be more appropriate
Comfortable and clean room. Apparently chaotic control of staff, the restaurant was supposed to be open until 2145, although my order was taken at 2135 I was subsequently advised that the chef was going home ! The bar was supposed to close at 0100, it closed at 2300 and as the night porter had not arrived there could be no service due to 'health and safety' reasons ? Not what I call an acceptable level of service !
The location was better than we had anticipated, just a short walk to the main shopping area. We really just booked it for an overnight stay to break our long journey, but it turned out to be perfect for us.,
The layout of the hotel, an the staff been at your service when needed. Nope
Location and staff. Lack of towels and pillows
Staff were helpful and generally friendly. Good facilities & safe parking I don't think the breakfast is worth the seperate price - we stayed in the Express Holiday Inn last year and although there was no cooked breakfast it was at least included with the room price which counts for a lot when you are already spending a lot of money on flights, rooms and other holiday expenses (eg eating out).
I loved the comfortable bed and the friendly bar area. I did not have enough milk & suger.
Location in city centre - lots of interesting places to eat within the vicinity Size of the room - small
Room pleasant and modern, staff efficient and helpful. Good location in centre of town. Convenient car park. The lift is small and always seemed to be full. This was annoying as most if the passengers had no luggage but we had to use the stairs with our luggage, despite trying to get in the the lift several times. Also, would like to have had a minibar in the room.
The room was wide and the bathroom as well. Excelent location in the city centre. The room was quite dusty and the carbet looked old.
The staff were pleasant and the public rooms were very impressive. The noise from the function rooms disturbed us until 1am the first night, so we asked to be moved, which they did, for the second night.
excellent central location
the location the hotel; typical ramada, 2 to 3 star trying to be a 4, my room felt like a childerns home / nursing home, bare, minimal. any other 4 star would be much much better.
The staff were very pleasant and tried to help The room had no view -frosted windows- the lights were not working and faulty. It was basic.
good central location
The bed was the most comfortable i'd ever slept on, the room was modern, spotless, large. It felt very luxurious! Everything in my room appeared new, like a show-home, straight out of an interior design magazine.Excellent. Well i did have a room which overlooked Leicester's main street, but it was Saturday night and so i expected a degree of noise. By the time i got back in (3.30am) it had all but died down.
I feel that this property took advantage of us in a couple of ways. 1. I booked two rooms and requested adjoining rooms. Instead I was given two handicapped rooms on different floors.. The clerk refused to provide us with any other accommodation. The rooms for 4 nights each were booked at the end of April, 2016 for our stay July 12 to 17, 2016. I feel that because we booked through ***** we were given the worst rooms available when we arrived, even though we booked more than 21\2 months before our stay.Clearly this hotel baited us and at no time mentioned that handicapped rooms were what we would receive for our money. The receptionist\clerk was indifferent to our protests Had I known this I would have booked at a more reputable hotel. The Ramada Encore misled us by failing to disclose the type of room that we would receive and saved both handicapped rooms on different floors, when adjoining rooms were requested. 2. The rooms were clearly advertised as having " air conditioning" which they did not. The hotel clerk advised that they " don't have that any longer" and offered a fan instead. This was unacceptable as our booking clearly indicated that each room had air conditioning. Windows had to be kept open for ventilation, however the outside noise continued outside til well past 4am some nights. This was a case of false advertising, and again was a way of baiting us for a substandard room. Once again I feel that a ***** client was taken advantage of . I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.
Friendly, informative, clean, well designed, good position for city centre and public transport
Train station anouncer
Convenient for Railway station and City centre Well maintained modern hotel As a 'football hotel' a little too far from the ground 15/20min walk Very disappointed by the buffet breakfast which did not offer value for money or adequate choice compared with say a Premium Inn
Conveniently located near to station and city centre. Quiet comfortable room and fast and efficient check-in and check-out. I'll stay again.
Its proximity to the cultural quarter. It is a little on the noisy side, traffic and trains.
When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by the receptionist who was absolutely exccellent. She was very helpful, asked If I had been to Leicester before which I hadnt and she told me places of interest to visit. She made me feel welcome straight away. The hotel was modern and clean. Service was excellent and also the rooms were very comfortable. I would definately stay there again I cannot think of any bad points.
That I could park for free, although limited. My toilet design, as it was suspended from the wall and I did not feel it was safe.
Very close to the station Would have liked free wifi
Good value for money. Basic but clean and conveniently located.
central location I would have been more comfortable with an extra pillow.
Nice and friendly staff. Large room with the and coffee facilities. Lack of elevator (I was t the 3rd floor carrying a medium/large trolley). There is no breakfast room. Breakfast is given the evening before into the room's minibar and includes sandwich, cereal, milk, yogurt and fresh fruit (strawberry). Bed is not very confortable. Windows are quite old and the wind made them strike almost the whole night
Spacious rooms, free internet
The staff and the location- No Bar or restaurant but it is surrounded by both
The reception staff were very helpful especially with advising re parking and answering question re use of the wifi. Nothing, it was a very pleasant stay.
Decor and space at a premium. Not clear on the information that they are serviced apartments rather than a hotel.
stayed in room 2, very noisy, function on with an awful band. lots of slamming doors. at 3am, could hear people nearby, leaving & talking very loudly. church clock annoying chiming every 15mins. a staff member actually walked into our room about 10.30pm to check if we had breakfast stuff. which we didnt, so she had 2 come back twice more!
good beds, large rooms and friendly owners
Checking out. The room had not been cleaned properly. Was woken up during the night by an earring sticking in my leg which wasn't my wife's. Hair clips and waste food under the bed. When leaving, handed the earring to a member of staff, along with my room number but have still not had any feed back.
The only thing i could say nice about my stay was the comfort of the bed. The bath was full of someone elses HAIRS!!! Urgggh... The staff were not friendly and did not go out of there way, which is a shame considering there are only fours rooms. Also, parking was a nightmare...
The bed was so comfortable! The first time I've ever got a good night's sleep in a hotel. Also, the staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. Didn't find any.
i liked the central location, the staff were among the nicest I have encountered in my travels. I did not like the big box like structure in the room. I do not know what it was for.
Very good location near to the train station and city centre, nice and friendly staff. Some towels were missing...
Everything in the room was clean and it was comfortable.
Breakfast was brill
Great location - close to shops and theatre. Very helpful and welcoming staff.
A very enjoyable stay with lovely staff No bad points
The hotel location is excellent, close to the train station & city center, pricing is good, and rooms are large (I had Quad room) for the same price as a double. I did not like the (cold) room temperature, difficult to manage with the heating/AC that kept switching off. Also a lot of condensation against the window resulting in a large patch of water on the windowsill.
Room very nice, modern, clean. Staff very polite. Very good breakfast. Added bonus car park included. Bed ok but a bit small.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Just the ticket for two ladies needing a break from the daily grind!
