The rooms smelt of stale cigarette smoke even though they were non smoking. We asked for our triple room to be wheelchair accessible, but it turned out the triple rooms were all on the 1st floor without a lift so had to pay for another room on top of the two already booked.
A very pleasant and helpful receptionist. The hotel was an ideal base as an overnight stopover en route to Spain/England. I have no complaints about my stay.
Very kind staff. Good value for money. Swimmingpool at arrival is very pleasant after a day drive. Good breakfast for a fair price.
Easy to find No tea/coffee making facilities
Check in facilities late at night very accomodating and helpful. Require facilities in room to make tea or coffee particularly for late night arrivals and early morning leavers.
the accueil was wonderfull and it was ok with what we get and what was proposed
Very friendly and very helpful staff; the hotel was very comfortable and the breakfasts were very good
The staff were all friendly, surprising us with speaking English, and unfailingly helpful and polite.
i was happy to stay in the hotel, they have got a swiming pool, but no one clean it. but it was quite calme,i love to stays there~ one thing i don't like is that the night when i arriver there, i can not find the hotel with my GPS, the road was so complex because they were repaire.normally, it takes me 20mins but in fact its 40 mins.
Rustic and quaint character of the hotel, friendlyness, cleanlyness and good food. Out of choice would have preferred "full door" on on bathroom/toilet insted of half swing doors.
Food and service very good, excellent menu. Quiet and pleasant location
It was a charming little hotel
very good restaurant blankets on the beds
Ideal if you are a food and wine conoisseur, wide range of locally produced cheeses etc. Village in the middle of nowhere. I was expecting a country inn with log fires etc but was disappointed by it's lack of character despite all the antiques.
Great very uncomplicated check in - very helpful and nice. Room was great - food in the restaurant was also very good. Easy place for a stop over. Pictures on the Web-page are really not as nice as the actual rooms.
This was easily the nicest hotel I visited during a tour of France. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean room, good restaurant, easy parking. Highly recommended.
Atmosphere, accommodation, decor, food, service and friendly attitude of staff all made for a pleasantly memorable visit.
Nice atmosphere for a relatively inexpensive hotel. Great resturant.
very good hotel food good made very welcombe
Everyhting! Handiapped facilities. Lunchtime meal was excellent. Location. Huge car park. Only blemish: squeaky sliding wardrobe doors!
simple and easy, friendy and helpfull the bed pillows
Nature and quiet surroundings, good view, nice to stay outside of the city. Spacious and clean room. Cosy and homelike breakfast room.
Hotel staff helpful, hotel found easily rooms clean overloked small courtyard and quiet, restaurant clean and food good
Well appointed rooms and facilities.
close to where I wanted to visit. food good. Room was Very small.
The position suited our stay and the pool was an asset. The evening meal was very good. We understand the owners are refurbishing the hotel and not all areas are looking good, however the staff need to smarten their appearance and need to be properly trained. The frontage of the hotel was not inviting, plant pots full of weeds!
Convenient for the Puy de Dome and surrounding countryside. Quiet and peaceful. Good swimming pool, tennis court and restaurant.
the staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and furnished well. the information book was only in french.
No tea or coffee facilities in room
I was very pleased with the friendly hotel staff. The breakfast room/dining room was elegant. The food was excelent. The hoel was ideally situated. The room was very small. The colour scheme was unnappealing.
Owing to the fact that I arrived in a taxi with my three large dogs owing to my car breakdown I was delighted that the hotel accepted my dogs, this was a tremendous relief. The staff were very helpful and kind. The receptionist was overworked as she was doing everything ,we had to wait for such a long time for help or for our bill owing to the phone ringing constantly.I was surprised that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room .The dining room required previous reservations which was disappointing as we arrived early hoping for dinner.
the restaurant was excellent, it was good to have access to a pool. It was also in walking distance of the town centre.
Excellent value for money, good food, friendly staff, clean room
The accomodation was basic but very well presented. A great evening meal, superb buffet and quarter of wine for only 12 euros. All in all great value for money
There was no-one at the hotel on arrival to let us in and it was all locked up. We finally found a young woman with two small children who was able to let us in. There was no hot water in the evening although it did come through in the morning and the bathroom was in a very tired and dirty state
Room clean, Owner waited up to greet us (past 2100hrs)
big room and central location we just spent one nigth and it was barely ok the bed and sheets were old as if been used by the germans in WW2 , the carpet and flooring seemed as walked by Napoleon himself, shabby aspect of the room and fixtures.
Staff very helpfull on the reception & spoke perfect English.
very conveinient for the town no
Typical old-style hotel situated in nice old town. Well-maintained, clean, friendly staff.
Friendly atmosphere - competent staff Only ones in the dining room.
spacious room, central loction in the town, good value for money parking could be a problem - no car park at hotel and public carpark a short walk away
The breakfast was awful. The milk was sour and my partner almost broke a tooth trying to eat a piece of toast. It was so bad that we didn't finish it and refused to pay.
