Pros: Lovely pool to swim, enjoyed an evening meal outside, large spacious room.Great breakfast.Secure bike storage.
Cons: Wifi wasnot working terribly well but no fault of property
Pros: Absolutely superb, lovely welcome from the owner and an outstanding family room with views of the river and old Mill. The bathroom was one of the best I have ever been in and there was lashings of hot water. Cleanliness and attention to detail were first rate and the meals superb. Highlight was sitting outside for the optional family dinner with fellow guests conversing with them and the owners through a mixture of French and English. This was a memorable experience I would hope to repeat, thank you Nina.
Cons: It was perfect for us.
Pros: The location is amazing near a little river and the old mill, the host Nina was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was mainly home Made and very Nice; we felt at home straight away, the rooms were very spacious and decorated in the atmosphere of the old historical building. We adored this place!
Cons: The only small remark we could make is the noise of the machine used to pump the water from the river for the annexe farm, but this didn’t ruin our stay at this great calm place.
Pros: Very quiet. Romantic. Rural. Very friendly host. Makes you feel at home.
Pros: This was a true "a la ferme" address. We like those. It was very quiet, except for a continuously running electric motor in an adjacent building. However, since the sound proofing of the windows was very good, we did not hear that in the room. The breakfast was delicous! We absolutely recommend this address.
Cons: A bit difficult to find. A few more markers in the village would have been welcome. The host drove out to the village to pick us up.
Pros: Nina was amazing! She did all her best for us to enjoy. I really recommend.
Pros: We liked everything about this property and would happily recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area not only because it is an extremely well run property but also because it is possible to eat there as well bringing your own food and wine.
Pros: Although only one night stay we enjoyed our stopover
Cons: We could not find any fault
Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: We loved the warm pool, beautiful old mill and walk in the countryside. The rooms we stayed in were very spacious and beautifully furnished. The owners have made a real effort to make this a very special place to stay.
Cons: It would be good to give more details on the internet about the available shared kitchenette (which we found very useful for making tea and reheating food) and to consider stocking it with some crockery.

Pros: Lovely old French house that has been renovated and decorated sympathetically. Great location in the centre of La Roche Posay. We had a lovely nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel and La Roche Posay if you are travelling near.
Pros: The superior room was spacious and well furnished. There was a kitchenette with refrigerator and dishwasher, and two bathrobes and various amenities in the bathroom. Two bottles of mineral water, cookies and tea were complimentary from the property. The personnel was very kind.
Cons: No air conditioning.
Pros: good location
Cons: I don't like hotels where there is no person at reception after 17:30 and I have to check in with an access code. It is impersonal and one does not feel welcomed. The place can be rather noisy - walls are thin and when people in adjacent rooms talk or watch TV is is well audible.
Pros: Fantastic view from our room.
Cons: Bath tub.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Very well equipped room. Pleasant staff and good public rooms.
Pros: Everything good. Near to centre ville for shops & restaurants. Very pleasant staff & owner.
Pros: Warm and friendly welcome from our host. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was extremely clean and comfortable . We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and out host booked us a restaurant for dinner in a nearby town which was lovely. Great breakfast, a lovely quiet , peaceful and tranquil place to stay.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful place. On top of that, breakfast was very tasty. Everything was cooked by the tenant.
Pros: Breakfast was great. Freshly baked bread and brioche with a good selection of homemade jams and preserves. They sourced some gluten free bread for my wife as well. Very interesting talking with the owner over breakfast. The property is situated in the middle of glorious countryside near the Creuse River and near some beautiful historic towns. Lovely and calm after a long drive. They obviously do it right as the other people staying had been stopping there for many years.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent - home baked bread & pastry, homemade jams, fruit juice, fruit and good quantity of coffee.p
Pros: breakfast was made for us hour before normal time because of our travel schedule
Pros: Homemade bread & brioche fir breakfast
Pros: Madame Elsa was a joy to meet and a great hostess. The room we had was small but prefecly comfortable. The properties had been renovated skillfully. A wonderful oasis of peace.
Pros: It was remote, secluded. Barn annex in a garden Which we slept in exactly what we wanted. Good breakfast and host friendly and informative. Perfect exactly what we wanted for first night in France.
Cons: Difficult to find and needs good directions. No facilities nearby. Remember this is not a hotel.
Pros: Homemadebreakfast was delicious! Wonderfull landscape and very calm! Pretty good for family with kids, after a long roadtrip!
Pros: Rustic, charming, beautiful countryside, peaceful location. Hosts very welcoming. Breakfast with homemade bread, brioche and jams. Would definitely repeat the experience.
Cons: The shower was very weak, but we forgot to mention it as I'm sure every attempt would have been made to rectify the problem.

Pros: The property is in a good position near to shops, cafes and restaurants. The patio was pleasant and the concierge was nice. Ample hot water.

Pros: Tranquil hotel set in gardens a two minute walk from the centre of the village. Though there is no garage parking we felt safe leaving our motorbikes in the car park at the rear of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and all of the facilities worked.
Cons: It was all good.
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel, staff were so helpful, really do recommend this hotel,
Cons: Can’t find any fault
Pros: Management changed our room at our request for one with a balcony. Really pretty town and hotel a 5 minute walk to centre at most.
Cons: Restaurant available in evening for long term residents only but plenty local eateries around
Pros: Leaving the place.
Cons: After a late check inn I havent noticed this hotel it did not have AC. During the day 40°C and at night 38-36°C. Sinking bed with winter sheets... So I have slept 2 hours from 04:00 to 06:00, all zombie going to work again with extreme hot conditions. I tried to explain to the woman at the front desk that it was impossible to me to sleep under this conditions so I wanted to chek out earlier, witch she replied "you should have asked for a fan, nobody else complained, only you. I f you want to check out its your problem you will pay all the reservation". So... what donI think? Arrogant people that only think of money and have no compassion for outsiders who got caught up in a very hot situation.
Pros: Excellent location and lovely property with extra effort made to make guests comfortable. A lift, which is always a bonus in France. Very friendly and even a kettle and glasses cleaner! Super good value.
Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: Our room was very comfortable and - bonus - tea- and coffee-making facilities. We were welcomed in a pleasant manner.
Cons: The breakfast was vastly overpriced. Fortunately, the equivalent is available at the town's boulangerie/pâtisserie for half the price. Animals are not allowed, which isn't made clear on the booking.com website.

Pros: Breakfast was okay, nothing special in the way of what was on offer, the location was nice though.
Cons: Jams in small pots, not a big fan. Prefer the bread to be on the bigger size, baguette which you could cut yourself.
Pros: Very cosy and calm
Pros: Excellent room, espacious and comfortable. Good bedding, excellent toiletries in bathroom. Comfortable. Excellent location. Good breakfast and staff very helpful. Nice to have private parking free of charge.
Cons: The facilities: gym, sauna, hamma and pool were old. It looked more like a poor school from the 70s. Machines were not working in the gym, the pool was dirty (green stuff at the bottom of the pool and the edges). The floor on the hamman was breaking.

Pros: very clean, value for money, staff very friendly and helpful, for the price cant complain, out of season when i stayed, so probably more going on in season
Cons: A kettle in the room would for me have made all the difference,
Pros: The shower was okay.
Cons: This isn't a hotel, more like a hostel. We had a basic room with a shower and separate wc.
With a stay at Terres de France - Appart'Hotel La Roche-Posay in La Roche-Posay, you'll be in a regional park, just a 4-minute walk from Spa Source La Roche Posay and 6 minutes by foot from La Roche-Posay Golf. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Cons: Accomodation very small, the flat was not really cleaned, fitness devices are all broken.
Pros: Good practical place to stop in La Roche Posay which turned out to be more interesting and pretty than anticipated. The flats complex had a laverie and an open air swimming pool. The flat was large (for 2) and the bed comfortable.
Cons: Nothing just a bit soul-less.
Pros: The area is beautiful and calm...there are several facilities like tennis court and spa..but I didn't explore in detail. The staff was nice during the interactions over the phone (although it would help if they spoke english) and during checkout
Cons: The apartment was not well clean floor full of stains and dirt next to the walls, ceiling and walls also not acceptable, many spiders had set their webs for a long time now. It seemed like they've set up the room after the last hosts and then left it like that for months. The beds are not comfortable, just a basic mattress and one of those hotel extra beds with bending legs (except for the main bedroom). No air conditioning and opening the windows is not an option because it's countryside and all kinds of bugs get in. I stayed just for the night, and when I was watching a TV show on my phone I get a small cockroach crawling on the screen...I'm not saying the place is infested...but clearly the lack of human presence in the apartment and overall cleaning is inviting for bugs in general.
Pros: We were 'trialing' the establishment in the hope to stay there for the full length of the 3 week Spa treatment next time. We really liked: Clean premises. Very comfortable bed. Very clear and easy to use TV set. Good size dining table & chairs. Separate toilet (not in bathroom). Staff were brilliant, and so helpful. Good outside & underground parking with most useful lift.
Cons: The extreme height at which microwave & crockery cupboard were placed. Mostly used by women, these made me feel like a dwarf. I was advised to get everything 'down' on to another surface, but surely that is not right. What about those who do not have a 'taller husband in attendance'? Climb on chair to reach as there are no steps made available??? Apparently this is a recurrent complaint... Fridge was lacking a shelf above the vegetable tray. Awkward. Also what is the point of a mini dishwasher??? Wasted space... especially placed at floor level! Undersized bath with hand shower in it was narrow and high, slippery & difficult to use. Surely a sturdy walk-in shower would be much better.
Cons: There is no liquid to wash the kitchen vessels. no soap liquid for bathroom
Cons: Good stay. There are issues with the door locks that need to be resolved. We were lucky the resception was open otherwise we would not have gotten into our room and would have slept in the car! this is a known issue . They shoud chnage the locks!
Pros: Great stopover point in the Loire valley, very easy to access, good parking, and swimming pool included in cost.
Pros: Nice place to stay on our way to the south of France or if you go to Futuroscope. Nice Italian restaurant La Buche on 10 minutes nice walk.
Cons: Clean and comfortable.
Pros: The room was ok we were 4 adults sharing so space was always going to be cramped. No free wifi as advertised in reception but not a drama. We brits like a cuppa but no kettle, and the cups were so small could not get my finger through the handle. Location is about a 3-4 minute walk to the bars/cafes on the flat.
Cons: no kettle in the room
Pros: Very well equipped and a lovely location.
Cons: Beds very noisy
