Good hotel for a night stopover-ability to park and a good breakfast an advantage when travelling to the south west of france a nice town as well
Easy to find, friendly check in and food was good Bed was terrible, like a saucer.
Cosy hotel, friendly staff, good location, easy to find. Noisy, neighbors watched TV all night, and we heard everything. Difficult with English language for the staff.
Food superb Bed very uncomfortable,
Very friendly welcome and consideration at meal tiomes. Food excellent. Location in Sable fine too far from Le Man's (my error( Was there at the height of a heat wave. Should have booked somewhere with Air Con!
The hotel provided basic and adequate facilities. The bathroom was clean with reliable hot water and not too small. The bed did squeak a bit! Plenty of people at the evening meal which for the price was good. The furniture is not too comfortable; a padded chair would have made an improvement and the outside woodwork needen some attention. Somewhere to hold the shower would have been useful and a shower curtain.
do not stay, booked in another hotel accomadation was not to our liking, depressing room in need of renovation immediately which i think is in progress, not before time
Proprietor cooked food excellent - buffet style starters and desserts with choice of served main course. Many local workers enjoying this €13.50 meal. Motel style lacking character and the town looking very run down.
Very comfortable motel style with parking outside your room in most cases, very convenient. Easy to find and nice standard given the price, better than we honestly expected.
the room was very well decorated, the bed was comfortable and the shower room was modern and attractive, the room was small.
Hot drink offered until 10pm. Fresh orange juice for breakfast ! switch on the light for the bedroom and the bathroom. No possibility to light only the bed. Room is really small. I was alone but this room had a double bed + an extra one. 3 person cannot fit into this room. Everything is design and fashion but the space is to tight (at least for me)
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast facilities were very good. The car park was large and close to the hotel. The room was spotless. The only negative aspect was that the room was very small, almost to the point of being uncomfortable.
Good location, friendly staff, recently refurbished clean rooms. No air con or fans in rooms. Rooms were quite hot and stuffy.
Very very good. Lovely building, excellent rooms, great breakfast, very welcoming (good English!) in a charming little town. Wish we'd stayed there longer. Will definitely go there again.
We needed a room for 5 and usually end up very squashed. This hotel had a double room and then another room off of it with 3 beds for the kids. All very spacious and very clean. Excellent stopover whne travelling further south in France. None
The staff Lack of sevices, there was only one member of staff on duty at any time. That person had to do all the duties, Clean, Cook and look after everything. The hotel was closed from mid day to late afternoon and then from 10-30 each night.
Hotel was well placed, breakfast was good enough and I would happily stay there again Lift was very small as was shower. Glad I only weigh 13 stone
The room was spacious and airy and the shower was brilliant. There was a secure car park at the rear of the hotel with lots of space. Very close to the town shops and square, and the river (Loire). Very quiet location and I would go again.
Great views, rural location. Small room in the eaves. Breakfast was overpriced at 23 Euros for croissants and a selection of breads and tea/coffee
The views over the garden. Sitting by log fire in the salon. Breakfast was fine but very expensive. Our room was small and up in the eaves and the bed was small too.
premises room was too small. restaurant far too expensive in terms of value for money
The breakfast was very expensive
the staff were extremely attentive, the furnishings were sumptious and very good quality, A wonderful hotel.
Small family owned chateaux and made to feel very welcome Felt the food and wine were slightly over-priced but then again felt we were paying for an experience
Ambience, hospitality, restfullness Expensive, but can see the costs associated with maintaining this amazing building, so good value for money.
Basically the hospitality of the Manager
Relaxing by the pool lovely big rooms in the chateau very peaceful
Good restaurant, good parking, good location, excellent security. Clean overall, but see below. Everything worked in the room, staff good. Ants in the room and centipeeds, room generally tired compared to others we used on this holiday. With a quick re-furb hotel would be good.
A very good allround hotel, have stayed there before.
Helpfulness of staff, cleanliness of hotel and rooms, food and varied choice of menu One of our party is a vegetarian and found it difficult with the menus offered.
Very friendly and helpful staff, room was spotlessly clean every day and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was expensive at 9e, not great value for money. The hotel next door does breakfast for 6e.
Campaniles are usually a reliable and consistant standard, with the same themes and choices, but Sable sur Sarthe Vion provided not only that, but also a bit more. The staff were willing and polite, with genuine interest and smiles, and the buffets, which are one of the common themes of a Campanile, were more original and individual. We stayed here to be near the Le Mans 24 hour race, and it proved to be an excellent base. Campaniles provide a consistant standard that do not pretend to be anything more than a good value package for a reasonable room and a reasonable meal. This is one of those that can be trusted to provide that "simple" standard, but they do it well! So for some this would be a bit plain and ordinary!
Easy safe parking for bikes, clean, good food and pleasant staff.
Clean basic facilities, good selection at breakfast Lack of crockery and cutlery at breakfast
We arrived on a cold spring evening after an outdoor activity. The entrance lane of the manor and the natural beauty landscape around the house surprised us, the rooms were warm and comfortable and the availibilty of a cosy saloon on the groundfloor with a grand piano ready for use gave us a very familylike feeling. Breakfast basic french, dinner in la Flece at 10 km distance.
Very friendly staff!! Good recommendation for a dinner! Nothing
The most beautiful setting for a relaxing stay. The hotel staff were so friendly and accomodating. Wish there was a restaurant at the hotel but there's a lovely little town locally and staff at the hotel can recommend some nice restaurants.
Owners tried to be helpful. Poor value for money.
Was a very unique and quaint B&B. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The pool was great for the kids and you can also get massages there. It's a house so the rooms are not very soundproof.
The hotel was clean and situated in a quiet area; the room was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful and quiet location. Price quoted when I booked was 40 euros per night, but upon checking-in this was hiked to 60 euros per night (because it was the weekend of the Le Mans 24 hours-which I was going to) The shower worked and had good hot water, but the clip to hold the shower head was broken, so it was showering one-handed, also the shower door opened inward and was spring loaded so made for difficult adjustment of the water temperature.
Clean and basic Very basic ,no bar, breakfast only
Not really a hotel, more like a large house with a few rooms for guests. Limited food for breakfast Additional charge on leaving with no real explanation
