The hotel was well located, comfortable, had very helpful staff and good food. Nothing.
Absolutely wonderful location in a great city. Comfortable room but a little cramped for a long stay.
The hotel is located right on the water and we lucked out with a corner balcony so we had an absolutely unbelievable view-- it was breathtaking. This hotels is so charming and romantic with a great location. I hope we can go back again sometime!!
location was great...staff was very friendly...facilities were attractive and comfortable. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Excellent location. Excellent value for money, compared with some very average 3 star hotels nearby. Nice atmosphere. Staff spoke English as well as Spanish and Ueschera. Nice room. Staff very helpful and polite. This is probably a very small/silly complaint but I think that when guests check out staff should ask them if they enjoyed their stay at the hotel. The ´goodbye' is just as important as the welcome. The cost of wi-fi and internet access was ridiculous. In 3-star hotels it is often provided free of charge. While I really liked the hotel, I thought the facilities and services were so expensive that I would probably stay in a 3-star hotel next time.
Location. came to the bar downstairs for the tea. Young barmen was very rude.and did not speak English.at all. This is international hotel.
Great hotel wonderful location staff were fantastic.
location and service room was rather small
Very good and friendly staff; good location. Room decor was a bit jaded and carpet was stained.
The bedding was lovely as were the beds...it does not have a lot of character...as it is a hotel for conferences..however for what it is especiaaly if you can get a deal...it can be a break from the hostel scene...a bit boring ...staff tolerated our lack of spanish well. The location is up the hill a bit..so be prepared to walk to the action or figure out the buses both are easy to do...
Easy parking .quiet end of town.walking distance to beach. Room smelled of smoke.very poor view [ facing a cliff ].
the room temperature was 24 degrees and i couldn't sleep during the first night - when i asked for the air con to be turned on i was advised it was winter and the system was shut down - they could not offer any solution until i suggested they get me a portable a/c unit or a fan for the room or i would depart for another hotel- eventually a fan was produced and when the porter brought it to my room and turned it on it felt like a year's deposit of dirt gathered on the fan blew all over my bedroom- this is totally unacceptable for a hotel boasting a high category and charging high prices- no compensation whatsoever was offered-
beautiful hotel, pool closed because it was out of season
Good breakfast. Internet PC didn´t work. They said it will be repaired by tomorrow, but that sounded like the daily standard answer.
The hotel is clean and modern. The staff is helpfull and kind. It is a bit far away from city center
We really liked this hotel. The rooms are spacious and provide lots of amenities. I felt we got great value for a great room. I would highly recommend this hotel to others No.
SPA is fine but a little bit small compared to other options around the place. The bathroom dorr is transparent glass, providing zero intimacy. Perfect for solo travellers but may be an issue in company.Location is a nit isolated, consider another location if you intend to go walking anywhere.
Efficient and friendly staff Parking is expensive
I was positively surprised about the interior of the hotel. Upon arrival you see a building that makes you want to turn around right away, very unattractive. But once inside it's very modern, very nice and spacious rooms with modern designed interior. Breakfast is excellent!
Lovely hotel with an original theme. Much recommended.
Very beautiful room and confortable None
I loved the idea of each room being dedicated to an actor, it made each room to be sthg special. The room was very clean, the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly, superb breakfast, all in all a very pleasant experience, would definitely spend more nights there anytime in the future. It is a bit of a walk away from the Old Town (15 min on foot), on the other hand the bus stop is just outside the hotel entrance.
Thematic hotel, decoration was very impressive. Rooms quite spacey, clean and comfortable. Toilette material (shampoos etc.) very good. Videotheque (movies) is comparabely poor. No warm food on breakfast. Bit far from the old city (ca. 30 minutes walk).
Clean, modern, stylish, large rooms smoking inside the hotel
The location... Very quiet... The decor was wonderfully unique. The breakfast was good as well.
Nothing in particular - very average modern hotel Should be a 3 star hotel
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable and great bathroom. Good breakfast, free computer usage and free dvd service. Cute movie star theme. I recommend the hotel without reservation.
awesome hotel, great variety at breakfast, loved the movie themed rooms, great lounge area for relaxing and free internet and wi-fi, would come back again! NA
Excellent staff, great breakfast, WiFi, great bar, comfortable beds, modern design. The hotel will be better still when smoking is no longer permitted in the eating areas
Access to internet free of charge. Breakfast should be self service like in most part os hotels.
Reception staff were very polite and helpful despite me not speaking Spanish. My room was cleaned and tidied to a high standard. Overall my stay was a pleasant experience. John Gannon
It's a good hotel, with good quality / price ratio. It is new, free WI-FI, clean, easy. They have bikes for rent (manual & electric). The location it is far from the center and way up the mountain !! (only 6-7 euros by taxi). If you take the bike, you will be climbing the "Tourmalet"
Modern hotel with good facilities Air con not very efficient and very noisy. Can't believe that a hotel can run out of butter during breakfast !! Quite away from town centre, but taxis readily available and only 6/7 euros
There should be a bench for luggage where the traveller can unpack with ease. As it was--because there was no luggae bench, I had to bend down on the floor. I have a back problem, and bending is not good for people like me no matter how careful you are. You do need a car to get around. Although there are buses, it's difficult to find your way back to the hotel once you get the bus in (as I did). The signs to the hotels are too few and far in between--although they start pretty early in town. For brand new tourists, it is difficult to spot the signs and follow while watching for traffic.
that was the best hotel i stayed during my spanish trip. comfortable, great room, wi-fi, new design
Very nice hotel, reception staff were nice. Very clean hotel. 25 min walk to San Sebastian, very manageable but bus stop is just around the corner also which is very regular. Would definitely stay here again. Very expensive but accomodation in San Sebastian appears to be so.
You need a car as it is 10 mins out of city, but there is also a good bus service which we used instead of car. Great coffee/bar in foyer.Balcony overlooking the city was nice. Having a balcony was great, but it would be nice if it had a small table and chairs there.
we were put in a smoking room
Hotel is situated next to bus station so very easy for connecting with the numerous services to other towns, is clean, spacious rooms and very helpful reception. Also has a decent bar for a late night drink. Breakfast is expensive (go to one of the nearby deli's) and it's a good 20 min walk to the Old Town, so not that central, depending on the purpose of your visit.
Very comfortable modern hotel. Spacious superior room with large kingsize bed. Nespresso machine on corridor with little pastries. Excellent breakfast buffet. Staff spoke english and were very helpful. Nice location on river - pleasant walk to centre.
The rooms were clean. The furniture in the room was modern and updated. The flat screen T.V. was a plus. The individuals who worked at the reception did not seem friendly.
The staff was helpful and friendly and whipped out a map to direct you immediately.
The central location
Good quality clean quiet room with a good king size bed, quality bedding and a good sized LCD tv. Smoky bar area at times (which is common in Spain).
Friendly staff who spoke English and were helpful Room was too hot and cooling had finished for the season - had to change rooms
The hotel is right next to the bus stop, as I caught bus from Bilbao. The rooms are clean and fairly modern, the bed is huge! Very comfortable. Smoking is allowed in the bar, so the bar and foyer (right next to bar) stank of cigarettes. Not very good very as breakfast is not included, and it was quite pricey at 15 euro per person.
The rooms are gorgeous and plenty big for European style hotels. The staff was very helpful and as a bonus they spoke many languages. I requested a king size bed when I first booked and got a room with two beds pushed together with individual sheeting (not conducive for snuggling). My shower door was only a half door so there was an ocean in the bathroom after we were finished. The last night we tried to sleep earlier so we could leave early the next day but it seemed there was a comedy club right above us until around 2 AM.
Beautiful, luxurious and charming hotel. The rooms were very spacious and facilities excellent. The location was perfect for city and beach. Minibar beer 5 EUR. Buy a beer at hotel bar 5 EUR. Order the same beer through room service it is 7 EUR + 4 EUR Room service charge. Why the beer is marked-up 2 eur plus a room service charge is beyond me.
Elegant Hotel. Great Location. Superb rooms and ambiance. Would stay here any time. I would not call this a complaint but for a five star hotel the front desk staff need to be better trained. While extremely polite and helpful the lack of a dedicated conceirge made it difficult to get good information on dinner reservations, accurate directions. Overall. our experience was very positive
The staff. The staff were on the most part fantastic. Absolutely lovely. ANy problems we had were more from slight misunderstandings from language but when the staff all speak three or four languages and I only have one I can hardly complain. The babysitter from an outside agency had a bad cold.
large room, comfortable, quiet, convenient
Relaxing luxurious rooms No restaurant due to refurbishment and significant work going on outside the hotel
Lcation and ease of acces. Near the best restaurants and watering holes.
The location is beautifull in the centre at the riverside and near to the beach. The room was spacious. Because of the price of the hotel and exposure on booking.com we expected the hotel to have an indoor swimmingpool, however it was a spa whitout pool and the spa was only accesible for people above 17 years old.
Great place, location wonderful. Front desk, bellmen, bartender, awesome nice, helpful people. Very kind and professional! Maid did not replenish kleenex
Beautiful site and charming old-style palace feel. Service and reception are rather mediocre, no English or French spoken by receptionist, no English newspaper available.
Good clean, quiet hotel. Not the place for you if you are trying to save money. Great location, away from the noise downtown.
The hotel reception were very helpful about local attractions and organising taxis etc etc. Breakfast buffet was excellent. room was s[potless and very well appointed. Exceeded expectations.
The price we paied was exorbitant. It was the only room left in the whole of San Sebastian, so they took advantage of it
Location was good - only 3 blocks to beach and about 10 blocks to the old town.
Combining the price of the two days (sun & mon) the average price was a good value. It was a good hotel in a good location Having to leave the car keys at the front desk
Great location. Lovely old hotel. Nicely decorated. Great bathroom. Restaurant was amazing. Totally blown away by the food because hotel restaurants are usually so-so. Very friendly staff, particularly the bar staff.
the city, the food, the atmosphere staff rather offhand; nobody to carry bags, etc. - not what you expect in a 4 star hotel
The location is great, hotel lobby has a beautiful design, it feels good to sit there, watch how they decorated it.. Wi-fi available in the room was a great thing. Staff , coffe at the bar and price. Very, very low value for money especially when you pay 200 Euro/1 night, book triple room and you end up in a normal double room with extra bed which is placed so that you can't open mini bar, suit case, or walk freely. Then you ask the staff about it and they say "well that's our triple room if you think you booked other, contact booking.com". Then they show us another, which actually IS a triple room (bigger!!!!) but smells like an ashtray and so we stay in our tiny room anyway. Thank God their air condition worked well or we would've suffocated (u can't open the window because of the noise from the road). So I don't recommend this hotel to those who travel in 3.
Very close to the beach (Playa Ondaretta) and the walk/bike/bus to Old town was not bad atall! Did not seem like a 4star/not as great of value for almost 200 euros a night...but overall an enjoyable stay!
Great location very close to the beach, free internet
Very comfortable, clean and practical. A little far from the old town and harbour.
Speedy check-in and check-out of hotel Would like coffee making facilities in room.
Rooms were not ready at check in time-took us over 2 hours to get into room. Very hard when it you have just flown in from US
the room position was perfect looking over the bay.also being able to take our dog to such a good hotel that we did not stay longer
Comfortable bed and clean rooms.Free internet is a bonus. Also the cafe is surprisngly good.
Nothing to remark Nothing to remark
As the remarks mentioned, the staff was very helpfull. We had an excellent room for two young children. If you don´t like the beautifull walk to the centre, the 5 minutes bus might disturb. It was the first time we actually had to pay for the childrens bed.
the location was very good, we were allowed to check in early as it was pouring with rain! Car parking was an advantage. Room clean, modern and comfortable.
clean rooms and good service
The room is very nice and comfortable. Parking is very expensive
I liked the fact that the desk staff could speak English. It made it so much easier. They were also very helpful with my friend who became ill and had to find a doctor.
The efficiency of the cleaning staff, the cleanliness, the location. The wonderful supermarket and deli's nearby... Not having access to tea and coffee making facilities and the price of the breakfast....
The hotel is old, no free internet and far from the old city or the center. U can get a pizza shop behind the hotel with couple of resturents I did not like any thing
The buffet breakfast was fabulous. Our room was lovely too. We stayed three nights instead of just two.
Excellant location. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.
staff v helpful & friendly; good breakfasts; use of swimming pool & gym perhaps relatively expensive, but it is San Sebastian
Very nicely appointed room to a high standard, very efficiently run hotel
Room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and great facilities. Staff provided great service and were very helpful. The Hotel was a close walk to the beach and a nice, comfortable 30 min walk into the Old Town to visit the restaurants. As an alternative, the public transport was easy to use to and from the hotel to make it into town quicker if desired.
Not called the Mercure San Sebastian. Change your website
The location is beautifull with a wonderfull view on the bay of San Sebastian
San Sebastian is a beautiful town, and not too expensive. Beach, Tapas, Beer, al relatively cheap it costs around 2Euro everyday just to get too it, if you rent a car there is a toll, and if you take their cable car, there is a toll.
A wonderfully romantic, old-world hotel, with the current luxuries of the modern age! The Mercure Monte Igueldo is set in what must be one of the most beautiful locations in the World. The views from the Hotel are truly breathtaking and the price just can't be beat!
The view from the balcony over the Playa de la Concha was really beautiful and the hotel was great value for money. The staff were very helpful and the room was definitely 4* standard. Overall a very nice break! As the hotel is up on the cliff overlooking the bay, you can expect to pay 10 euros each way to take a taxi to the old town. Even though we had a hire car we were advised by the hotel staff that parking in San Sebastian is quite difficult so we ended up spending quite a lot on taxis.
Fantastic views. Room, breakfast. Dinner over priced for quality.
Views oif Playa de la Concha are gorgeous Room service unavailable out of restaurant hours.
The whole experience was superb and we'll definately go back soon.
the view distance from centre
I like the view and tranquillity of the place restaurant was quite poor
Nice bathroom, seaview and lovley Gardens. Needs updating. In its day would be very good now ready for face lift. Pool was not looking too good.
Too few staff
The hotel lies on a nice location on a mountain outside the city. The quality of the restaurant is poor.
staff very friendly. Room basic and not roomy but fine and great sunset sea views. Good value riojas at the bar. Nice grounds and pool. need car ...no real complaints. Very happy.
Nice location with the city and sea overview.
Good position, pleasant staff We stayed here beginning of October and the hotel looked and felt like it should be closed our bathroom had damage to the taps which had been glued together, leaving sharp edges (not 4*)
The sea view from our room was amazing and it was in a nice and quiet surrounding. We asked for one king or queen size bed but it was 2 double beds put together which was not what we asked for. There were no complimentary drinking water provided in our room nor were there complimentary coffee or tea facilities.
Clean and comfortable room, free parking. Far out of town.
Las vistas son lo mejor
Beautiful chalet style hotel several kilometers ouside bustling San Sebastian. We met 2 of the 3 brother/owners David and Jesus and they were very personable. Ample free, safe parking. Ultra clean. Great breakfasts. Spectacular mountaintop view of city and Bay. Need to be careful using a GPS to get there. One road in is very good. Back road is steep and narrow.
Beatiful 1800s Villa restorated for Hotel.Free Parking. Free breakfast served to your room. Minibar softdrinks are complimentary.. Reception is incredibly helpfull. You can see the pictures of the Hotel in San Sebastian section of my blog www.geziyorum.net 20 minutes walk to town. but worth it...
the staff were always happy to help in any way they could.
The stay was short but one of the best experience. This is a true upscale Hotel with everything you would expect from it. May be the only one in San Sebastian where you can park your car and walk to the very heart of the city in just 20 minutes. I will come again to Villa Soro, for sure.
the staff were extrenely helpful and the hotel is a delight
I stayed at Villa Soro for 4 nights. The main building is elegant with a very warm atmosphere. I had a corner room on the first floor of the newer building which had it owns semi-private outdoor space. Both were nice. The bedroom and bathroom were of good size and quite utilitarian. The newer house has no street noise, though the area is sufficiently quiet that I would be surprised if the original house is affected by traffic noise. The staff is very polite and helpful. I chose to stay at the Villa as I thought I might find interesting people with whom to talk. Breakfast seemed like an obvious time but the bar is actually pretty lively at night. My wish was fulfilled. Members of The Morgan Motor Club were there with their glorious convertibles (British racing green, of course) and there were 2 architects from Stockholm on their way to Bilbao. My bathroom was not adequately cleaned. I suppose this was due to the maid believing that Americans only take showers. However, there were enough clues that I take baths. The tub wasn't cleaned (or not to my standards) and neither q-tips nor hand soap were replaced in a timely matter.. I found there was too much noise transmitted from the room or rooms above which may have been just the luck of the draw in whose overhead. Note that this really is a residential area and you will have a good 30 minute walk to the bus station or even most restaurants.
Lovely ambience and kindly staff. Classy atmosphere which was also homely. we enjoyed it.
Lovely quiet hotel.Excellent staff. Large comfortable bed in large comfortable room. Air conditioning excellent. Convenient location.
It was a beautiful hotel, quiet location, very good beds & bathroom, friendly staff, absolutely one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip in Europe.
The staff was charming and helpful from ideas for dining in the area to sightseeing tips. We found the ambiance and decor equally satisfying.
Very clean & professional
It is a fantastic hotel! Very charming, cleaning and the whole atmosphere is very good. I would like to coming back on day!
stayed at junior suits which is not much price diffenent. wonderful view on top floor and amazig room! had great time.
beautiful view over the beach and bay, comfortable and clean, quiet
very good location and excellent room plenty of space and view of the sea, also quiet which was a bonus so close to the centre
great location and fantastic view of the bay from our hotel window (we paid for view and really got it!). Handy parking directly below hotel (not cheap but easy).
good value for money.staff very helpful .room comfortable. I would stay at the hotel again . location good.
Good central position Wanted a sea view room
Great location off La Concha, easy walk to la parte veija and a wonderful view of the water. Staff was helpful in the small instances I needed them, bed was comfy, jacuzzi was very nice, room was great. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Good location! Quite overpriced, including the parking (€32 for 1 night!) Some parts look a little tired (elevator etc).
The location was very central. There was no tea/coffee making facilities as was listed, and I was refused these on request unless I paid. The room was slightly small and I had to ring several times to get an iron, more hangers for wardrobe (simple requests). We were charged 15 euro per day for parking although not told of this at check in, breakfast was 15euro each. All of these little things add up and our bill at check out had gone from 500 euro for 4nights to 635 euro.
Location was near to the sea front and our room had a sea view from a higher floor. Out of nine hotels booked with you for our trip around Spain this was the only disappointment. Very old and tired and extreemly overpriced in comparison to other hotels.
Valet parking was well worth the price. Location was good.
Very comfortable beds, modern design. The room was quite big with a balcony and good equipped. Very small parking - private hotel parking costs EUR 12/night. Hotel located next to a noisy street. WIFI extremely slow. Floor panels make it quite noisy. Poor breakfast. Almost no restaurants in the neighborhood (none with english speaking personnel).
nothing special just a good hotel and easy acces to the city by bus none
nice reception staff too far from the beach
We used the hotel as a stopover on our way to Portugal. The hotel is very easy to find and has a secured parking. Several restaurants etc. are within walking distance of the hotel. We had a room which could be joined together with the room next to it. This made our room somewhat less comfortable because our neighbours came back in the middle of the night and they were rather noisy.
The room was quite big, hotel personnel was rather nice and polite, room was cleaned everyday, bus stop right behind the hotel Location is horrible, far from the beach and the city centre. It might be 1.2 km to the beach by straight line, but the road makes turns, so it takes at least 30 minutes of fast walking to reach the sea. In spite of being far from the centre the place is very noisy. The hotel occupies just one staircase in the building, thus there are not much facilities. No restaurant in the hotel just a bar which closes at 11 pm and since it is not a city centre it is hard to find a place to eat with english-speaking staff nearby. There is a strong smell of the cleaning agent in the rooms and corridors. To summarize the price is too high for what you actully get.
not a lot. Although we booked and asked for a double room,we got a twin and had to change rooms after a night(staying 2 nights). Location is poor. city centre only reachable by bus or taxi. too far to walk. Parking costed 10 euro per day but the hotel should inform its guests before parking the parking the car, not after their stay! Breakfast is basic, although breakfast staff was nice.Rooms are dated and not worth 4 starts at all! price is definitely too high for services offered, NH hotel is situated better and looks a bit better.Go there instead I'd say,,,
Very comfortable and although not in the centre of town the public transport was very efficient and easy to use. They also had bicycles for hire.
Beautiful, peaceful hotel. Out of the centre, but only 6Euros in a taxi. Would definately recomend it and use it again
The room itself was very comfortable, big, the hotel was very quiet even though it was on a main road. Very efficent bus service a the door.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff.
Public spaces had beautiful views, staff helpful, great location to sightsee in the Basque region of Spain and France. Excellent restaurants nearby. Rooms are not airconditioned, and while the temperature cooled at night, our room had an interior courtyard window that did not allow for a breeze. We were fortunate to get a fan from the staff.
Breakfast was quite nice. The view from the room was also very nice and there was a very nice terrace overlooking the bay. Staff was not very helpful and the rooms for the price were too simple.
After staying at parador toledo, hondarribia seemed a bit short on almost all points
An amazing place... especially when you bring an Australian with you!
Beautiful common spaces. Lovely view from the terrace and mirador There was no restaurant, something we'd looked forward to from our experience at other paradors . The room was relatively small. And the bed was two twins pushed together which is awkward compared to a real queen or king size bed.
The peacefulness of the environment and the charming quality of the town was superior. The staff was excellent and responsive to every question or need. The parking situation is not clear and it took awhile to figure that out. I had requested a non smoking room and did not get that and also requested a room with view and did not get that -- which seemed to me to make me want to make reservations directly with the hotel rather than through your service since I would have had more likelihood of either getting my request fulfilled or understand why it would not be possible.
Location No restaurant
Hotel superb No sound insulation so you hear everyones doors open and close, every bath and every S...
Eexcellent location and great staff. The lack of air conditioning made our night a bit uncomfortable.
The amazing reconstruction of the building - would have liked more infor about this. The noises from the rooms above could be loud sometimes
The members of staff were very friendly and helpful. Because it was a public holiday (Nov 1) the restaurant was closed. We were able to order from the room service menu, but this did not offer a lot of choice.
Very clean, and very modern. Room was comfortable, and everyone that worked there was friendly. Great restaurant, and comfortable bar area. Difficult to find in the dark.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant
Please write at least 15 words
Excellent service, breakfast, professional
very friendly staff. great location the restaurant only offered a set evening meal which was expensive
People in front office very helpfull. The is an nice historical centre in the city. Which is of some interest. We were traveling by car from France to Bilbao. And went to San Bastian next day. This was a good stop.
Everything!!! An excellent hotel. Nothing!!!
The ambience of the hotel generally and the extremely helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. No
Excellent food, quiet location welcoming helpful staff. Nothing
The hotel staff, especially the ladies at the reception are very friendly and were genuinely helpfull with directions and recommendations. Overall the staff is what made our stay at the hotel extremely enjoyable. Hotel rooms are quite nice, big and clean. The restaurant serves excellent food. I will definitely go back.
Nice romantic interior, very clean, good breakfast Not very friendly at reception, lots of light in the room, not able to shield with curtains...
The location is perfect, just in the center. The noise of the doors. The lift as well as the doors of other rooms do a lot of noise when closing. Is an actual issue for the weekends as everybody has very different schedules and that makes all the nights very difficult (almost impossible) to rest!
Good spot. Perfect location. Overpriced breakfast. Better to breakfast outside the hotel, cheaper and with more quality. Also a little bit noisy.
We absolutely loved our stay!
Great location, friendly staff, very comfortable!
Every employee was approachable, helpful and friendly. They gave excellent recommendations on sites and restaurants. Definitely gave the personal touch. I would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and were fortunate enough to receive an ocean view room; it was romantic and perfect. Hotel rooms are clean, very well maintained; our room looked freshly painted. Location is great; short walk to old town along a scenic sea wall. nothing; it was top notch.
Great relaxing hotel with fantastic views over the bay.
The location and the view were excellent.
Fantastic view from balcony, great location, lovely town.
Great staff. After I checked out, I left my passport in the front desk. The guy in the front desk was nice enough to run after me and give me my passport. Also, great price for a beach front hotel.
The hotel is fine.
Very clean hotel, room was very clean. Reception staff were very friendly, efficient and very helpful. Location is 5mins walk from surfing beach and 10-15mins walk to la concha beach, its a nice walk! Breakfast is standing room only, help yourself to juice, coffee and buns. Rooms are small but adequate. Shower was nice!
Anyone staying at this hotel would be doing themselves a big favour. Perfectly quiet central location in a beautifully equipped and furnished apartment and spotlessly clean. Will be returning!
Hotel was very tastefully decorated, clean, and well located. Staff were very helpful, and pleasant at all times. I would definitely recommend the hotel, and stay there again on my next visit to San Sebastian.
I'm usually critical of hotels but Arrizul Gros is simply outstanding....I wouldn't waste your time staying anywhere else.
This is a brand new hotel, so everything was new and clean. The location is good--just a very short walk across the bridge into the Centro and Parte Viejo and just a few blocks from the beach. The hotel is not non-smoking, so the smoke smell did come into the room from time to time.
The staff were really friendly & the hotel was very nicely furnished & quiet. The rooms are quite small so I probably wouldn't want to stay there for longer than 3/4 nights.
Excellent hotel, quiet and very friendly staff. Gentleman in reception was extremely friendly and keen to try his good English.
It was great location to see the city. Most places were within easy walking distance. The one-way streets make it difficult to find the hotel if you are driving.
