location, ideal stopover after getting off ferry before long motor cycle trip to Southern France n/a
Friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price Battery hen accommodation
Room was functional, with good layout and all the required basic amenities. I would have prefered a cleaner floor as I'm used to being barefoot in a room.
Nothing in special. The 2 stars are really stars in everything...
It was nice just a problem with the language.
Everything. Meals and service combined for a very good value overnight stay. No
Convenient for Autoroute. Accepts pets in the room. Basic but sound facilities Last year we could take our dog into the dining room but the policy had changed this year without warning. The facilities such as drinks and towels were not sufficient for the number of people staying in the room.
value for money and in particular the dinning was great value, rooms are dated and need a makeover, however still A1 value overall
Convenient, all necessary facilities. The bedroom was a little squashed for three people.
An elegant guest house. Self-check-in through the key pads was a breeze. Bedroom was large and clean. Breakfast was in a luxurious room and provided all we wanted - although the 8:30 start was a little early. Given the cost of the rooms, parking should have been included - an extra ¿7 a night seems opportunistic. Housekeeping could be better - only two tissues in box, toilet roll not replaced after first night, bin not emptied. No shower soap or shampoo.
The French doors opening onto the large enclosed lawn with swimming pool was unusual and pleasant at this quiet time. Not sure it would be so attractive if the hotel were busy. Room had been very well renovated; good quality fittings and nice colour scheme. Excellent restaurant. The French windows had to be locked at night, or when you were out of the room. There was no way of letting fresh air into the room when the doors were closed.
A very pleasant hotel that was a surprise. Approached across a large retail park car park its rooms look out on to very private lawned gardens with the hotel swimming pool. The Staff are most helpful
Very handy for seeing the WW1 museums and cemeteries. The hotel was rather disappointing. An odd, but good location, very near to shops, but the entrance to the hotel was being re-roofed, and the first view of the hotel revealed smashed windows. It had a peculiar smell, and was quite dark and dismal.
