Pros: A lock keepers cottage. Lovely and clean and beautifully decorated. The host was very welcoming. The situation at the side of the Nante-Brest Canal was very peaceful. Highly recommended
Pros: very welcoming clean and comfortable. location very pretty and peaceful, lots of opportunities for walking and cycling. a great place to meet up with friends on their boat, and explore the canal and the river Erdre. .breakfast was very good and we enjoyed eating on the terrace with our friends.
Cons: everything was great, but perhaps some more comfortable garden furniture- gilding the lily!
Pros: The host, Delphine, was a delight. Perfect location, dinner was simple, excellent, as was bfst.
Pros: Close to the canal and had safe indoor secure storage for our bicycles
Pros: The location was just out of the way enough for the quiet of the countryside next to the canal. Peaceful but beautiful.
Cons: All good.
Pros: We arrived on our bikes in the rain and received such a warm reception. Even better, we had ordered the dinner platters and there was a fully stocked honesty bar so we didn't need to go out again in the rain. The food was excellent and the location is so beautiful!
Pros: Everything! Brilliant converted lock keeper cottage on canal. It has a few bedrooms which are practical and comfortable Warm and happy welcome from owner. You can order a cold meal, vegetarian or meat platter, plus wine, bread etc. The owner does not sleep on the property. You are left to make yourself at home . Sorry but I forgotten our super hostess` name. She arrived in the morning with fresh bread etc for breakfast, which was eaten with the other guests. Without doubt this was one of the highlights of our Velodyssee trip. From there we cycled to the next village and took the train, with bikes, to Nantes, making our trip so much easier....thanks for that invaluable advice!
Cons: Nothing. Wish there were more places like this on the canal routes through France.
Pros: marvellous location, walking along the canal in the morning mist was lovely. Very quiet too, no traffic noise.-
Cons: Should have taken more provisions; some bread, milk, a couple of beers maybe. A long way from shops etc and all bars in Nort shut at 8pm.
Pros: Right next to the canal cycle path. A fair distance from the nearest town so we accepted the offer of a simple meal from our host, which was fine. It was unusually cold for the time of year but a heater was provided.
Pros: I noted the charges on location at Euros 52 per night, so why did I pay over £86. I will be complaining to Booking.com - I feel badly 'stung'
Cons: It is a simple gite and well worth the E52 for a stunning location, but certainly NOT worth £86

Pros: Julie and Virginie were really kind and Lovely. We will stay there again! The dinner was excellent and the ambience really lovely.
Pros: What a beautiful place!! Beautiful room. Had a lovely 3 course meal. Young couple who met us were really helpful and friendly
Cons: Did pass this on at the time. It would have been great to have a welcome drink when you arrive. We had travelled a long way and needed a drink on arrival. Not even water in the room! It would have been lovely to be served a drink on the terrace! Other than that a great place!
Pros: The staff were fantastic! Very welcoming and wanted us to have a lovely time. We were attending a wedding and had been travelling, my clothes were creased, they were ironed for me, no charge. Lovely food, beautifully presented.
Cons: Nothing. It was good that there was no T.V!
Pros: Very comfortable beds in beautiful rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Pros: We liked the room and the ambience. Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: All good
Pros: This is a large and rather plain looking chateau but it actually works very well as a place to stay. I got to try two rooms during my stay and I was most impressed at the value for money provided by the new owner and the young staff. There is a swimming pool which I didn't try and there is a reception centre for any guests who want to get married. Next to the reception centre are the remnants of an old tower, which leads down to a little river. You can order a meal for 39 euros if you give 24 hours notice and while it is not served as part of a meal with the owners as in many chateaux, it is served in an adequate dining room at separate tables. For 70 euros a night for a room I couldn't believe the value I was getting, but I was travelling alone. The furnishings are not priceless antiques and there is some cheap tack, but the place is in good condition for an old building and the atmosphere was delightful.
Cons: The main public rooms are rather sparsely and cheaply furnished and hopefully the new owner will add ambience and class to his great new purchase.
Pros: Old castle
Cons: Simple breakfast, no possibility for diner at night for vegetarians, no cushions on the plastic poolbeds,
Pros: Unique, friendly and personable property.
Cons: Having to leave :-(
Pros: One magical place to rest and enjoy classical ambiance and unspoilt nature just 30' away from busy Nantes. Accomplished chef does not fail to deliver sinful tastes @ very reasonable prices. For my future trips to Nantes I will look no further!
Pros: Beautiful decor. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: "Normal" teabags and milk substitute not available in room. Noisy plumbing.

A flat-screen TV is available. Cholet is 48 km from L'Auberge du Tire Bouchon, while Saint-Herblain is 32 km from the property. Nantes Atlantique Airport is 35 km away. Pros: This property has been made to feel welcome and homely. Lovely personal touches. Good sized room.
Cons: The shower is a hand held shower rather than a free standing.
Pros: The staff is nice.
Cons: No hot water, the bed is not very nice, too soft
Pros: The restaurant is absolutely amazing. It was one of the best meals I have ever had! They also offer a nice breakfast and the staff is very nice.
Relais de la Grange is located 30 km from the centre of Nantes.
Pros: Out of town, pre book your evening meal. Best breakfast of our holiday.
Cons: All restaurants in town closed on a Monday
Pros: Great location. The manager was very helpful, even lending us a sun visor for the car. He made a fabulous breakfast every morning.
Cons: Breakfast was expensive, but very nice.
Pros: The manager was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing every thing was what I expected
Pros: Helpful staff Good breakfast Quiet room
Cons: Location,on a trading estate
Pros: Friendly, helpful welcome.
Cons: Hard to find.
Pros: The shower was good. There was a kettle and coffee and tea supplied and although we don’t use it in France it is rare. The aircon/heating was in good working condition and easy to operate.
Cons: Despite check in time being 1700 hours, the person who checked us in arrived after 1730, and the phone number given was on answerphone. I hate to think what would happen in an emergency. There was no apology. He also told us a local pizza outlet was a restaurant. It was about 100 metres away and he really should have known it was a take away only. The knowledge of local amenities is something I believe the reception at a hotel should be aware of. The hotel does not have a restaurant. We walked over 5 kilometres to find a restaurant but every restaurant was closed and there were only take aways. We then ran the risk of being so late we would not have been able to find something to eat. We ended up buying a take away pizza and having to eat it while walking back to the hotel, something we never do, so that we could eat it while hot. I realise February is a quiet month but correct information for travellers is essential. It is not the fault of the hotel that the town is dead but good information is paramount. As a result of this we have no desire to visit this town again. It is not the quality of service I expect from Logis. It is clearly a hotel for business travellers and not tourists.
Pros: The welcome of the staff! The breakfast. It’s close proximity to a V&B and a McDonalds served our purpose for one night!
Cons: It was slightly difficult to find.
Pros: The hotel is very well located for travelling through France. We have been here twice and this time decided to explore the local area. Lovely area to walk our dogs next to the canal bank.
Cons: The plug socket is too high for the kettle. Used the local facilities brochure and it was fine.
Located in Saint-Mars-du-Desert, Manoir du Perray is within a 15-minute drive of Church of Saint Mars du Desert and Carquefou Golf Club. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A beautiful house and location

Cons: A little out of the way
Pros: This really is a gem! Beautiful property set in marvellous surroundings. With amazing wildlife Llamas,Horses,Deer and Wallaby’s!!The owner Pascal and his staff were so welcoming and accommodating. It really made our stay special
Cons: Nothing it was perfect!!
Pros: Beautiful setting ,Authentic room and very Nice swimming pool in the middle of nature with many domestic /wild animals
Pros: Stunningly beautiful with a elegant history that hasn’t changed, surrounded by park land with lots of wildlife. The owner and staff run the bed & breakfast to preserve for future generations to enjoy this period castle. The swimming pool was such a peaceful silent place and kept very clean. We made a special request for a sandwich as we knew it isn’t a hotel and the staff went above and beyond and delivered us a lovely lunch by the pool for us. The whole place had a great atmosphere and we had a very happy stay.:) Thank you Laura Val lou & Graham
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like about the chateau, but you do need a car to get around, on saying that We did manage to call an Uber taxi.!
Pros: The manor is beautiful and the beautiful pool all to ourselves. Or great Dane looked like she'd found her heritage.
Pros: The atmosphere, the location, the mansion, and the lady from the front desk that did everything to make me feel like home.
Cons: There's nothing I didn't like.
Pros: Stunning location in beautiful grounds. Lovely breakfast included and pleasant staff.
Cons: It was a bit ‘quirky ‘ though it grew on us!! No facilities as such - no bar, tea or coffee making facilities.
Pros: Everything was perfect. The staff went above and beyond. Breakfast lovely.. we were driven to places we wanted to go. The ambience was tranquil
Cons: Liked everything
