It is nicely designed, the setting and bar area is very relaxing. Nice & quiet location. Room confort was not exactly what I have expected (e.g. in order to switch off the lights, you have to get up from your bed!!). Very limited selection of English speaking TV channels. The language skills of the staff is also not sufficient for such a deluxe rated hotel!!
Comfortable, well run, helpful professional staff Car parking not the easiest
The rooms were very good, comfortable and quiet. I would like to stay there again. My husband suffered from backache just the evening before we had to leave to Paris to catch the plane. At the reception I asked a desk clerk if it was possible to stay a little bit longer than check out time. He offered us to keep the room one hour longer than check out time but he also said he would charge the room if we decided to stay longer than the given time. For us, it would had been a great help to have the room for two hours rather than just for one hour. In a five star hotel, which was definitely not overbooked, it should be all right to keep the room a little bit longer because of illness (because of backache it was very painful to sit in the foyer and wait for the taxi).
Great welcome, excellent decor, comfort etc and a great restaurant
The room was smaller than implied on website
The large central atrium and general design and style. No
we could benifit from an extraordinary promotion from your site...otherwise we find the hotel would on the expensive side even with all what it offers...
A very stylish hotel and a beautiful building. Comfortable beds and Clarins products in the bathroom! Breakfast was a fairly small choice considering its a 5*
Interesting decor Delicious lunch Think it would be a good idea to extend the menu, so that lunch and dinner not the same on the same day
Good location and very nice bar. Bistro is a good option if you do not want to walk into the City. Not the cheapest option in Lille (but you do get what you pay for). Traditional room we had was also pretty small.
Friendly staff, everybody spoke english and was very helpfull No Wi-fi in rooms.
Good location, easy for parking in the hotel car park Room was small, smelt stale, wall paper falling off the wall and plug sockets were loose and dangerous.
Good location - near Lille Europe station and city centre. Good basic rooms and good value buffet breakfast. None
Good location, cheap, free internet. Late check in, at 15.
location, close to eurostar and the city shops lack of facilities to make hot drink . very hot had to sleep with window wide open even when it was snowing!
Hotel Lille Europe is well located for a stopover related to Lille Europe station. The room was very dark, seriously overlooked by the shopping centre behind the hotel, and rather cramped.
helpful staff. parking no tea or coffe in room. only i meat and i cheese at breakfast
Clean, comfortable and good value for the price. Excellant location for Eurostar and city centre.
The best point of the stay was the breakfast room which has a lovely outlook.
Convenience, very close to ESC Lille, shopping centre, city centre, train stations. The staff was very kind and helpful. the room can get a bit noisy early in the morning, it's too close to a busy avenue. And if you shut the windows the room gets too hot.
clean, friendly staff, efficient, spacious rooms not in the centre, close to the railway station, expensive breakfast
Great location, easy access to train stations.Modern feel, with well designed rooms.
Room size just right. Having young children we loved being able to divide the room up so that we could watch a movie and drink wine whilst they slept. Staff were friendly and receptionist spoke excellent English. I would have had a go at the french but she made it so easy. Breakfast was basci, laid back and delicious
helpful desk staff
clean and comfortable
quite rooms, very close to railway station Lille Europe, internet access, easy to print boarding pass
Room size, facilities None.
Size of room, microwave and fridge, free blockbuster movies.
Clean and comfortable room. Free use of internet en TV facilities The lack of free parking, this should be arranged by the hotel.
The rooms were large and very well laid out with a nice bathroom with both a shower and a bath and a separate WC. Also it was possible to partition the room into two with the partitions suspended from the ceiling. The hotel takes your payment at time of booking. The staff are very average and found it difficult to find the booking. Although there were facilities to make tea and coffee in the room there were not cups/ sachets of coffe/ milk sufficient for the number of guests and this got worse the second day.
The location Extremely small room. No parking at all and nearby parking very expensive - would be good for train travellers though.
basic, good location and value for money Inside of windows/woodwork and skirting borad very dirty. Bed cover a bit grubby, but sheets clean. Can't see why these cant be cleaned, it lets the room down
The location: very near the train station!! quite impressive!!
Good location, good breakfast, comfortable room, reasonable soundproofing The smell from the drains was dreadful in the room and generally in the corridors, was only bearable with bathroom door kept closed and windows left open whilst occupied
Location was fantastic - great for visiting the Christmas markets! Unfortunately you need to pay for lockets to secure your luggage if you're leaving Lille a few hours after check out.
The rooms, hallways, & elevator all smelled of damp/mould/something awful. We thought it may have just been our room at first but we had several friends who reported similar odour problems and they were staying on different floors/locations within the hotel. Also, only one towel was provided for a double bedroom. A request for a second towel for our second night of accomodation went unfulfilled by housekeeping. Again, friends had the same problem with only one bath towel being provided for a double room. The rooms are small but functional and reasonable for the price but for the reasons above I would not recommend this hotel.
Very conveniently located in town centre
Good situation, helpful staff. Bed was a bit hard - very noisy outside at night - perhaps triple glazing might help?
Close to railway station Lille Flandre
Great location, very quiet despite proximity to station. Easy parking underneath. Excellent rooms, clean and functional.
We liked the location of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Not very good location and no car park!!
The hotel was fine but nothing more. The location was the best point Very basic. Bed was bad and breakfast awful.
Excellent facilities. Very large rooms which were clean and very comfortable. Excellent facilities onsite with bar and good priced restaurant. Internet available. Friendly staff. Good location, only 5 minute walk to center of Lille.
Comfort of the rooms and the vast range of breakfast items
The check in was simple and the clerk was very efficient, extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, and great stay with the hotel located a short walk from the Old Town and the Christmas Market. Wide range available for breakfast, but the hot food offering was limited and cold
excellent location near the station and the city center; also very close to Euralille, which is a great shopping center; clean room; good breakfast My room was way too noisy because of the dysfunctional closing system of the window ; I was also very disappointed because the staff at the reception desk was not only unfriendly but also very rude.
clean modern hotel ,convenient for SNCF/ Eurostar breakfast seemed expensive.
It is a reasonable place with good staff. Finding the hotel was a real challenge. The street name can not be located in GPS. No other street in the neighborhood is mentioned to help find the place. The breakfast room was packed with only one person working. Although she handled it pretty well, the service was not as expected due to the volume of work on one person.
It was quite, simple and well organised.Apprecited the simplicity of the service
It is was very quiet even though it was next to a motorway The staff member who booked us in was impolite and abrupt although the other 2 staff members who were with her were very nice and helpfull. Very difficult to find also even with SatNav.
The friendliness of the staff.
Room with twin beds cramped
The location of the hotel is very good en and hotel staff is doing a gooed job. restaurant (for breakfast) is a bit to small to accommodate all people.
information on access to parking was not available until arrival at the hotel, and was inconvenient
Excellent Apartment and location. Very well furnished/laid out and in pristine condition. Also about the quietest hotel or aparrment I have ever had anywhere ever ...... Eventhough I was not in so much,it was a pleasure to return to such comfort and style and space. Would recommend it to everybody and would certainly opt for this setup again in the future.
near centre of the city and the principal Gares and shopping center (EuroLille), restaurants......
Proximity to the city center, parking facility close to the hotel. no soap or cleaning service was provided during the stay. hair drier was not working. A malfunctioning big industrial fan outside the window provided a nice noise throughout the whole night.
the breakfast area is a bit cramped when full. They had run out of bread when I arrived and couldn't get any more. No public computer.
The freedom of the fridge to prepare and store food for the following day. Near to Euro Station No wash hand basin in toilet, which was slightly small. Noisy room with window open.
Having access to Old Lille. Having easy access to shopping mall with supermarket. It would have been better to have two single beds for the 3rd and 4th person rather than a pull out sofa bed
everything sometimes there is problem with the internet
The 4 person appartment was spacious with fantastic views. The staff were a bit rude and there was a large cigarette burn in the floor. It also smelt strongly of smoke (although non-smoking specified).
hotel 10 min walk from Eurostar station and walking distance of 10 mins to old Lille and all its attractions. It is next to the major shopping centre. . Excellent value for money, staff helful. Room clean. Little bit noisy if windows open at night but quiieter after 1am.
Room was a good size, clean and new. Shower and bathroom were excellent. Bed/couch fold up was uneven and therefore uncomfortable.
The accommodation was comfortable and the kitchenette well equipped. Despite its location near a major road network, it was surprisingly quiet. This may be, however, because our rooms faced away from this network. We were attending an event at the Grand Palais, for which the location was ideal
It is situated close to Grand Palais For us was it very important that it is close to the Grand Palais and that there is a parkingplace availabel
Rooms are equipped with kitchen and kitchen utilities. Sleeping rooms and bathroom are ok. Hotel staff are not very friendly. They are available only on working hours, so if you arrive after 7pm or on weekends, be sure to talk with them by phone before.
Hotel was clean, refurbished. Close to the center of Lille. It took two hours driving arround to find the hotel. Then it appered that address was changed. At the main entrance to the street there was a sign --there is no entrance --. No receptionist - you have to call to get the pin code to enter and to get the pin code to get your kee
Easy to check in, clean and good value for money. The bed was a little too firm
they rooms are nice and clean and your value for money is good. The rooms are nice and quite so you dont hear the traffic from tthe motorway.
Excellent facilities facilities in Studio Directions were useless. From the Metro station It took me over one hour to find the place, which is in the middle of a huge building site. Even the local Police station had never heard of it>
very new hotel / appartment-style accomm. The fittings were new and there is still a new-paint smell to the place. 8 minute walk from the Lille Grand Palis Metro stop. 20 Minute walk from museum of fine arts. Very difficult to find!! It is a new hotel (thus unlisted on any of the guides in town) and it is on a newly constructed road which is not shown on ANY map in town. It took me over 2 hours to eventually get to the hotel from the Metro, and that was because the hotel staff came and (eventually) found me.
They have most of the things we need to make our own meal in the room, giving me feeling of staying home. The place was difficult to find even with the aid of my GPS. Surrounding are all building sites made it quite dangerous to driving in and out from there. Instead of pushing one of the buttons for the following 2 questions, I would give my comments here. To the question of whether I dould recommend this hotel, I can only do so when the surrounding environment is improved. To the question of whether the guest review accurately reflect my experience, since I did not check ose reviews, I could not give any answer.
