it ist quite and located in a small town. The room ist big and with TV. I will like the the balcony outside the room. The motorway leads to the Hotel is between the mountaines. Actually it is beautiful. But we drove at night, so it's a littel bit scared.
Very friendly staff, excellent room, over all a most enjoyable few days. None
Good value for money and location within 20-minute drive from the city of Koblenz made an ideal position for a city break.
The hotel/pension is situated in a quiet little town. The hotel management is very friendly and devoted to their task. Food is prepared fresh, so it might take a little longer before you have it on your plate, but it is defenitely worth while!! The surroundings favor a nice walk. Cities like Keulen and Koblenz are close by (drive by car). We found the beds although comfortable, a little low.
The hotel was excellent staff very pleasunt and food excellent I would recommend this hotel
Very friendly host, very quiet and peaceful at night and had some extremly lovely trips and walks from there.
The room was very big, with even a separate lounge room. Large bath room. I could not pay with the credit card. This was a nuisance, as i had to get money 3 km downb the road.... but in the weekend the bank is closed.... lot o hassle.
The hotel staff were very pleasent and the food was excellent
The room was a good size, clean, with balcony and en-suite shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. A very good value Pension.
Nice hotel with fair price Breakfast too expensive (15 EUR per person)
Close to the old town of Limburg. Free parking. The price of the breakfast is excessive.
Cleanliness and big quiet room. Very good breakfast. We discovered with pleasure the center of the old Limburg and the multiple italians restaurants!
Convenient to town centre Poor value for money. Bar area uncomfortable Lift out of service Breakfast choice limited and expensive.
Ease of finding & parking: close to town.
Friendly hotel ideal for families very close to the centre.
Beautiful historic City
availability of a smoking room, quiet and comfortable room Wrong telephone number provided, it was impossible to call the hotel. Name of the hotel on the building was not Arcadia, but Tulip, there was no explanation, I circled the area three times before somebody told me it is the right place. If not for the geographic coordinates used in sat-nav, I would never find the hotel.
Staff were very helpful
convenietly placed for the old town, with a good range of restaurants Lack of restaurant facilaties
swimmingpool and sauna complementary, longer breakfast hours (till 10:30)
it was clean and nice the cleaning staff was knocking on the doore before 9 oclock
We got the apartmentroom in the other house and it was big and good. Many steps. Good breakfast. Free parking If you need an elivator you must get a room in the mainbuilding.
Restaurant and service very good Small room
The pool Not a good holiday destination
The staff is very, very friendly, and professional. The hotel was only recently opened, the owner has also other businesses in the city : a cosy spanish tapas bar, the Bodega Dali Loco, and also a very luxury restaurant, the Werner Senger Haus. Both are located in the Ruetsche strasse in Limburg, not so far from the Dom. I can heartly recommend this hotel.
This was our last stop before heading for the ferry at the Hook of Holland and it is ideally located for this being just of the A3 autbahn. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre and the railway station. I found our room was a bit noisy from the traffic passing the hotel.
I was disappointed that despite the fact that it has 'hotel restaurant' above the entrance, no food was available in the evening (we stayed on a Friday). The staff were not particularly friendly either.
It looks as if the late check out doesn't always apply. Make sure you check first if that is your main reason for staying there.
Pleased with the location on route to Austria ´very convenient. Staff were obliging and helpful. Breakfast was good for continental type, but still does not compare to the cinventional British breakfast.
The location of this hotel was perfect; it was ten minutes walk to the town centre, while walking to the town centre you walked past both the train station and the bus station. The hotel also had private parking in the hotel grounds ! The night I stayed the kitchen was closed, but this may have been because Germany were playing in the World Cup that evening, and the management were not expecting many customers. If that was the case they got it very right( two customers all night )
A perfect, economic, accessible hotel close to the Koln to Frankfurt highway
Room was clean, good shower, free car park, and close to the town. Breakfast was disappointing, stayed 2 nights and restaurant did not seem to be open - plenty of lovely ones in town though. Quite a lot of noise throughout the night at front of hotel from traffic and passers-by.
The beds were very comfy and well maintained, the room facilities in general were also very well kept. Staff were also very nice and helpful The floor was a little dirty but for the price it was fine.
The location of the hotel in the center of Limburg is perfect for my purposes. Very friendly and competent personnel. Even the standard rooms are well equipped and of decent size. If you're still hungry after having left the breakfast buffet, it's your own fault. You just have to have dinner at the Restaurant de Orusse at least once during your stay - excellent cuisine. Does the above really sound like there was anything I didn't like? :-)
The hotel was in a great location, the staff was nice, room was very comfortable; best part was the shower was separate from the toilet. Extra sinks made it nice also! Definitely recomend.
Excellent location. Room decor eccentric but interesting. Staff friendly and helpful After I received confirmation of the reservation from active hotels the hotel sent me an e-mail saying my booking had crossed with a bobking they had made with a large party. They did however manage to find a room the next day and I was able to take up my original plan. I do not know whether this was the fault of you or the hotel but this kind of problem should not happen.
Great central location and helpful staff.
Location within pedestrian area of Limburg
great service, nice room, wonderful breakfast, special accommodation for late check out, perfect moderate splurge while backpacking through Europe.
The rooms surely are made-up quite romantically. Philosophically speaking, the hotel lets you know the value of something that one takes for granted: lift for example. One doesn’t even ask these days if a hotel marked 4-star has a lift. If you have baggage, and your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you have had it.
Parkingplace, and there was no bar available
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, but above all the excellent food served in the restaurant. A little difficult to find (without a satnav). Also, parking a little limited, but not impossible.
nice clean hotel
The area for dining in the hotel was extremely noisy with loud singing and general noise which at times was rather intimidating. The staff made no real effort to keep the noise in check.
Cleanliness, cancelation poclicy, and helpful staff. Wireless Internet is not available freely, and it is far from any avaiable restaurant.
Very friendly staff; good value for money hotel. -
Am a regular visitor to the hotel, 1st discovered it several years ago and I keep going back as I have never had a bad experience with it. As always on this visit my room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were as always polite and friendly and the inclusive buffet breakfast got me my days off to a good and tasty start.
Convenience of hotel location, standard of facicities and friendliness and politeness of the hotal staff
Free parking, WF, value for money Too far from Limburg - only expensive taxi possible for coming to Limburg at weekends
Clean, quiet, basic but spacious room and excellent value for money. Half a mile off the motorway, they remembered I was a non-smoker, and provided 2 large beers, schnitzel with salad and chips, half-litre of wine and breakfast, with free WI-FI and parking, all for 60 euros. And I was back on the motorway on the way to Austria, by 7 a.m. German-speaking only, so bring a phrase book. New towels needed in the bathroom.
Very friendly people, helpful and giving a very personal service.
A small local country Inn, in a good location for an overnight stop just 2 minutes off the Autobahn. A lot better value than the modern 'human filing cabinets' and did the job perfectly. We didn't eat at the Jaegerstuebe as we arrived at 9pm. Can't really find fault considering the price. Perhaps one point that might make people think twice, the bar is a smoking zone.
Its quiet. Good beds and room. Good price/value. Just to sleep near the A3 higway a cheap but good possibility Ther was no shampoo in the shower/badroom
location nice. Would be nice to have Wireless internet
Nice location, clean, friendly, good food
The location is excellent for the town and the Lahn. Good restaurants nearby as well as an excellent restraurant in house. Would recommend it.
Spacious room, great location, excellent breakfast.
In a great location being on the edge of the old town and next to the river. The room was basic but functional and therefore adequate. The owner who was there at check in was very welcoming and helpful but the staff in the morning (especially in the breakfast room) were surly and quite unfriendly. Would have been nice to have the opportunity to have breakfast on the terrace. Dirty and stained bedroom carpet, it's the reason that we only gave the hotel a 'fair' rating for cleanliness.
