Evryone spoke english there. Which was a pleasure The rooms where old, smeled bad and the shower was very poorly lit.I would not stay there again.
Nothing The Hotel was one of the worst I ever stayed at. Public carpets and furnitures are unaccetabling wrecked and looks dirty, expecially the restaurant. Personnel in reception was very unpleasant.
The room was quiet, even though it is right off a main road. It was air conditioned, which was a plus, and the staff was VERY helpful--gave an outstanding restaurant recommendation--and spoke good English as well as German. I would not recommend this for someone wanting to visit Padova as a city . . . it is a ways outside of the city center.
Easy to find from Autostrada. Parking was excellent. Good transport links (bus) into city of Padua
Location to head to Venize, cleaninness, parking Very slow wi-fi in our room. Since it is not in town, but a bit outside, you definitely need a car.
Clean Hotel - Clean Room Breakfast was little bit poor.
The hotel is located in the surbubian part of Padova. It is very convenient if you travel by car. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they offer quite a wide choice for the breakfast, rooms are clean.
It was located on such a busy Road/M-way and the noise from the traffic was relentless!
We found the hotel adequate for our requirements, the staff were friendly and helpful There were no facilities for evening meals
The staff and parking
It's close to the city center, 10 min. There's a bus stop front of the hotel. It's close to the highway, so easy to get there. The room was clean, and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Free wifi, and free private parking. Really good hotel on a good price.
I especially liked the fact that the hotel is not in the city center - it is very quiet and peaceful - perfect place to relax. Additional detail - the hotel has its own parking, which is quite rare in Italy. n/a
services, location NO
breakfast was well presented, with fresh ingredients daily and excellent coffee and juices, plus ability to make soft boiled eggs. room was stuffy at times with poor ventilation.
Large, modern room. Good bathroom. Nice breakfast Helpful staff. Room did not have a proper window, A pierced brick frontage was covering the window.
it was a good hotel and breakfast was good
Very Quiet near the centre
At the beginning I had a noisy room, next to some fan. I complained and they promptly and very kindly moved me to another room -- which was perfect. I simply feel at home in this hotel, I go quite often for business.
The location was good for walking into the city - hotel was quiet and fine for short stay Rooms has a dated feel and were quite cramped
quietness, kindness of personnel the single room had only shower place
easy to find, on-site parking, and proximity to city center, Their custom-printed city map was excellent and we used it to navigate the town on foot all day. no
Friendly Staff, nice room & convenient to find. Pity no parking outside the hotel but a garage was available close by at an extra cost.
Small, friendly, nicely appointed hotel within walking distance of the railway and bus stations on the one hand and the historic city centre on the other. Comfortable modern bedroom and bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Happy to recommend. Perhaps not the quietest location as on a fairly busy thoroughfare.
We liked very much hotel. It has pleasantly furnished rooms.Wonderful breakfast room - never seen such before. The staff was very kind. And the best think ware the bad.The mattresses are perfect! All tiredness after long trip we had gone for a night.
Wonderfully clean accommodation with modern facilities and very helpful staff available at all times. No
A modern, tastefully decorated, and clean hotel. The bathrooms were exceptionally well-furnished and the breakfast was quite good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent location.
Although I only stayed one night at the hotel, I found it to be very comfortable, the "Milano" design appealing, and the buffet breakfast generous. Can't think of anything negative.
The hotel was in a perfect location, for the old centre of Padova. Car parking was a bonus, but we thought the hotel was very special. It must be quite wonderful in warmer weather, so the terrace can be used. Staff very helpful with a query that I had. Superb all round!
Very execellent Hotel. Very clean! We were not sure of the hotel on the outside, but turned out to be the best hotel we stayed at out of our 11 day vaction! Hotel has a parking lot about a block away with a secure gate (reservation needed). There is a great pizza stand across the street! We stayed there to see St. Anthony and also to visit Venice (30 min. train ride) Nothing!
I liked the location near the city center. The suite room had a very big bed, was elegant and calm. Breakfast was essential. Really inelegant the "slices cheese" (Sottilette).
beautiful room, great bathroon, excellent breakfast, excellent night desk person daytime desk service
The hotel interior is modern and stylish. Our room was large and very comfortable with an impressive bathroom. The air conditioning was a boon in the heatwave during our stay. A decent breakfast (included in the price) was served in the garden. The hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from the city centre and there is a bus stop right outside too. The bus takes about 5 mins. and we were pleased to have this option in the heat.
breadfast is soso. No internet
nice hotel.near by padova. no shelvs in the closet. nothing to hang wet towels/
Easy to find, good breakfast. Airconditioning very welcome Shower flooded the bathroom as tray too shallow and poorly enclosed Room was crowded with four beds
The staff were friendly and helpful after our car was damaged driving out of Padua. The hotel was very good value. Restaurant was closed on Sunday, however there is a good pizzeria 10 minutes to the west on the main road which was recommended by the staff.
Free on-premiss parking. The hotel is located on the main street and therefore noisy. A lot of trucks on the road. Totally non-sound proof. If you dont know the area its a bit hard to find.
very bad location and really old facilities
The place it self, the good service, the restaurant and the room.
room was clean and comfortable. nice breakfast.
Very old furniture, but clean. Parking on site available.
Very good value for money. Picturesque room and original Italian flair. Room to the back away from the room was quiet with good airco. Very friendly staff, a rather typical Italian hotel more than a business hotel. The rooms are dated but clean and this is part of the atmosphere. Breakfast was ok, very Italian, not really the quality and choice of larger business hotels. Still good quality and taste / and a real cappucino.
Friendly and very helpful staff, all of whom spoke very good English. High quality accommodation and good location. For the quality of the hotel, it was good value (especially compared to English hotel prices), but not cheap in absolute terms. Bar prices were very expensive
the mattress was new, so I had a nice sleep I was disappointed to see that no refurbishment was done in the rooms, which are old looking
The room was very nice and the staff very attentive No
The staff, particularly the restaurant staff, were very helpful and friendly. The room was large aand comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently situated.
The staff was realy helpful, location is good. Free parking. The bed was like an extra bed not real bed, the pillow was as stone. Old bathroom.
Great location Only allowed one key per room!
The staff and service was outstanding. The hotel is conveniently located to nice areas to walk in Padua. Internet service was expensive and wifi was not reliable.
Luxurious breakfast room with excellent selection. Nice modern lobby. Huge rooms.Convinient valet parking with reasonable rate. Convenient walking distance to historic places. none
location was great. For a 4 star hotel it is incredible that there was no free wi-fi access in all rooms.
Friendliness of the hotel and restaurant staff, extra person at breakfast was no problem at all.
Short way to both city centre and main railway and bus stations. Very good breakfast and "hand made" cappuchino. Only Italian TV channels with programs of doubious quality. The free Internet spot was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel, but were very unstable. The receptionist on duty could not help us.
Excellent location close to the train station and public trasportation and the Scrovegni Chapel is just across the river. Very quiet ( soundproof windows) Very nice and helpfull staff. Good breakfast and a welcome drink every evening. Mosquitos come from the river in the evening , take care if you leave the windows open !
The breakfast, the welcome drink, the quality of the bed, the situation The aeration (ventilator) in the bathroom was noisy too long (10 minutes) after using the bathroom
The location was excellent, and I appreciated the welcome drink in the evening. Breakfast was good. The mosquitoes in the bedroom. The electronic zapper has no effect on them. Proper insect screens in the windows are needed.
It was near to the center of town and to the station The bath smelled not even good.
Excellent position for visiting Old Town and other points of interest. Unable to have windows open at night because of traffic noise.
The location of the hotel was very suitable and easy to find especially as I only had an overnight in Padua and had to make a quick visit to the Arena / Scrovegni Chapel - very nearby. The hotel is just beside it. Funny enough the hotel does not allude to this proximity in its decoration or in posters on the walls etc. The receptionist presumed a wide array of political understanding of relations between ireland and the United Kingdom which were both inaccurate and inappropriate.
Close to train station; staff very helpful re cultural sights; excellent buffet breakfast; good value room overheated but staff assisted by opening large casement window; "hotel atmosphere" - I prefer bed and breakfast type accommodation but could not find any in Padua with contained bathroom for the time I was there.
Helpful and friendly staff. I had a room at the ground floor and it was not very comfortable: the cars parked just by the window.
Very nice hotel, comfortable and nice furnished room, very good price - we recommend this hotel situated quite far from city centre - not for easy walk
The gotel was very good, just a little bit away from the center of the city, but very clean and relaxing, nnothing to complaing
Great hotel rooms, helpful staff Not so close to the city center
Extremely stylish, clean and relaxing hotel. Breakfast was fab (continental...my favourite) and the staff were really helpful. Not overly close to the city (bus or taxi in) but close to family so perfect for us. No bar but one opposite which we didn't have chance to try so maybe this wouldn't be a problem on a longer stay.
Spacious rooms, friendly staff breakfast was not very good
Very nice room design, helpful staff. Good valiue for money. Nice place to stay 1-2 days far from the city and difficult to find
Very kind helpfull stuff. Nice new furnished and clean rooms. Situated in a silent area, but close to the historical center. Would be good to have a wardrobe for clothes in the room.
I liked the most the kindness of all staff and also how tidy the place is in every way. all perfect and nothing to be changed
The hotel is brand new and the room is designed in a very good taste. Also there is a king size bed (very comfort). The staff is excellent and speaks very good English. There is a near bus station and it takes about 10-15 min to reach the city center. Also there is a shuttle service to the train station (to venice). There was a problem with the bath water flow (it was a very poor flow).
Trendy hotel within easy walking distance of Padua's great plazas, restaurants, farmer's market, and amazing gelato shop. Very helpful staff are ready to prepare cappuccinos to go with fruit and fresh pastries for breakfast each morning.
The staff were very helpful. Large room, good quality towels. The room was quiet (faced onto inner courtyard); air conditioning was quiet and efficient. The TV was small, fixed on the wall at about 6 feet high, and the maximum sound level was fixed too low for me (it was lower than the normal level). Because of the height of the TV it wasn't possible for me to see/hear it better by getting closer.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Albergo Verdi. It's a very cosy hotel, well located and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning!
Friendly and well-wishing people, well served and clean rooms. At saturday night it is noisy because of a restraunt near hotel. It is not possible to give clothes for washing and cleaning. That`s why it`s not comfortable to stay there more than 2 days.
The hotel is located next to Medieval part of the Padova, next to the main tourist points. The room was clean and the breakfast was rich (as for Italian standards). The room was quite small. As we were having the room overlooking the street with cobblestones, it was a bit noisy in the morning, when cars were passing the hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the fact that it was small. It was in an excellent location - we were travelling by train and it was good to be in the heart of the city but without it being noisy.
Hotel staff, especially the excellent knowledge of English of that guy (sorry, forget his name), who worked at the reception. It is very important for travelers that the staff could speak English. Probably - poor breakfast.
I like the price, the location.
The night porter was very friendly dispite our late night arrival. Also breakfast was very good with a wide choice of food and drinks including healthy options. We got a very good impression of the hotel.
Only twenty minutes by car from the Mestre train station which means excellent access to Venice. The hotel was clean, modern and with professional staff. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding. The Cappucino served was the best I had that weekend in Italy. Bravi!
Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. Conveniently located for business as it is very close to an exit of the highway and with free private parking area. Small but clean room with warm, new furniture. No bad the breakfast too. Small shower unit. But not critical: 10 minutes time only.
Very friendly staff. Immaculate rooms, spacious, lovely ensuite. Excellent large beds. Good airconditioning. Top breakfast. All linen, towels etc were spotless as was the carpets and decor. Highly recommended. No
We stayed at this hotel just for one night on our "Giro d'Italia". Little bit far from Padova center, but for those of you who will be treveling by car it will not be a problem and if you consider price, you will be more then satisfied. Bathroom have got ceiling from something like corrugated plate, which we didn't expect in 4 star hotel.
Front desk spoke pretty good english. Stefano, whom I dealt with mostly was eager to help in any way he could. He would answer any questions and did so with a smile. Rooms were very clean. Close to bus stop Pillows were pretty hard,
A small but cosy and comfortable hotel very good for people in transit or tourist visiting Padua. We were on transit and we were satisfied for the hotel services. A positive surprise was the free parking.
breakfast was nice noises from the other rooms were audible at times
For what I needed hotel was located perfectly. Breakfast was quite good. Noise from the highway close by, but if you close window you can sleep without any problems.
This is second time I stayed inthe hotel, and although it is in the industrial area for me location was excellent. I would use it again. It is not a bad side, but the guy responsible for breakfast should speed up with refilling items that are offered for breakfast.
The room, the quietness
This was our third time in this hotel. Great hotel, friendly staff, confortable room. Good value for the money.
a beautiful house. This was the third stay.
New, clean, nice room and bathroom.
Very confortable design hotel. The free mini-bar is a very pleasant ammenity. The restaurant is very good and the bed was very confortable. We were travelling through Italy and the location was very convenient (close to the highway, yet not noisy). When we arrived we we're wrongly informed about the breakfast hours. Because of that information, we were too late to get breakfast. Nevertheless, the front desk staff was very helpful in making up for that mistake and provided us with a simple but nice breakfast.
Wonderfull desing room. Very poor breakfast buffet, location far from the city downtown.
The rooms are very cleaned. The are too many groups in the hotel. So we can't take breakfast. The breakfast is poor.
The staff speaks perfect english and provides full assistance to the guests.
this one was perfect!
The 'welcome drink' (plus cookies!) was a very nice touch and the receptionist Marco was a real star. Nothing was too much trouble and he even confirmed my next hotel booking for me, in another city. The room was fantastic - really modern and clean. The king size bed was amazing. Totally unexpected to receive a farewell bottle of wine from the hotel owners too. Wow! Could not be faulted.
In a prime tourist location, Belludi 37 sits less than 150 meters from a small trollied rail-system that operates throughout the city of Padova stopping at major intersections, areas of interest and even obeys law of traffic, as would a taxi or bus. The last (or first) stop for the trolley ends right out front of the Padova Train Station. Did I mention good location?
Great conversion of an old building, staff were really excellent particularly Tomas
free internet, free drink when i arrived, free water in the room- all nice services! bed was great bathroom too. excellent service with good english! nothing
The helpfulness of the owner. Also, they serve a very good breakfast. And the place is spotless, as well as near the Santo and the Orto Botanico.
the ultra-professional & friendly staff, the fantastic location, the web connexion possibilities
The staff were very friendly, great information given about the area, dinner reservations, directions, - I felt very well looked after. The hotel is lovely and the breakfast is very good and great value
The hotel was great! I was upgraded to a larger room which was really modern and nice. Staffs were friendly, helpful and truely professional! I also loved the location, few steps from St. Antonio Church, 10 to 15 minutes walk to everywhere. The tram station was also near the hotel which was very convenient. I really enjoyed the stay at Hotel Belludi 37, and hope to return again.
Belludi 37 is an incredible place to stay. The staff is most helpful and everything is done so that you feel confortable in your room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
Nice entrance, good service Beds could be a bit larger
Great location for the start of the Venice Marathon. OK location for Padova if you have a car.
No free internet connection (kind of got used to it - most of the hotels have it for free.
Nice and helpful staff; hotel is well-located regarding Padova and Venice. The hotel is called a design hotel but does not deserve that qualification
good comfort at hotel room
Nice staff, good breakfast, clean room, quiet place. The room was too small, it's ussually is 1 bed room, but for this case was with 2 beds. For 1 night is OK, but for more will be uncomfortable.
The room was ok and relatively clean. The bathroom could be nicer. Everything was functional but nothing special. It is not easy to find.
the hotel is clear, good bathroom, room is not tiny. It is not very far from Venice, but you need car. There are not public transport conection.
Located in quite residential area. Housekeeping was unacceptable. Should be rated a 2-star hotel at best.
Low priced hotel, quiet area. Shower needs maintenance.
everything was perfekt (clean, quite, modern, frendly...)
Spasious and clean room, quiet location, helpful staff difficult to find , the price in the restaurant were high
The helpful, hospitable, and polite staff. The cleanlinss of the room and nice colours. Close proximity to the main city Padova, with bus stop in front of hotel. Tickets, schedule for bus aslo available at hotel. It was a little smaller than what I am used to, but it was a good shower, clean comfortable room and bed and prompt service. There was not a restaurant inside the hotel, but the guests get 10% off at the adjacent restaurant and the staff also will order take out for you and deliver it to your room, adding the bill to your hotel tab.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind - they spoke little english and we spoke no italian! but we still got on very well as they went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. We will certainly go back. The restaurant in the grounds of the hotel is closed on Sunday which is a little inconvenient. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city but there is a good bus service to the city centre and tickets availalable at reception.
good speed internet poor breakfasts, no english TV channels, no english newspapers, bad staff language skills
Very good ! Breakfast is also great; they offer lactose free milk and gluten free cookies, perfect for me !! The restaurant nearby (same owner) is also superb! Guests stay in this hotel get 10% discount. We would surely come back if we'd visit Padova once again ! Not that close to the old center, ca 15 min drive. However, you often need to traval by car anyway in Italy, not really a big deal.
The rooms were comfortable and clean. Good choices for breakfast was provided. Excellent value for money. Will stay again if visiting Padua.
Very nice room and good breakfast. Transportation is a problem, need to have own transportation. Some staff don't speak any English.
Very comfort and nice price. And excellent restaurant for dinner. None except the location.
The rooms were reasonably spacious and clean. The hotel had an excellent restaurant and the city bus stop was just outside the hotel. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent english. Although our room was a "non smoker" previous guests had been smoking in the room.
The dining menu and the excellance of the food. A softer pillow or its availibility upon request would be a good feature
Hotel staff was very friendly There was no option for Ac
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Georgia who spoke perfect English, French and, of course, Italian. Good lock up parking. Easy 5 minutes walk to the station and centre of town only 20 mins walk away.
Breakfast. Some noise in the room due to the trains. The railway is quite close to the hotel.
Good, clean rooms. Rather isolated, remote from center.
Convenient and comfortable hotel. Easily accessible to the Giotto chapel and to Venice on the train They need to work out a better explanation of how to walk to the hotel from the train station - particularly for guests arriving in the evening or at night
Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Though we were checking in late, everything was kept ready and perfect. Also helped us with maps, directions, bus tickets etc Though the location is only a short walk from the Train Station, the short walk is through an not-so-safe-looking area, with some shady characters loafing around. Wont recommend the walk if it's late at night (which was our case) and if you are alone or a couple (which we were not - we were 7 of us).
Clean room and good restorant.
Nice, recently renewed rooms and restaurant within the hotel location: just outside the city center
Very convenient location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet. No
