Very nice and spacious rooms, quiet and friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet and a top restaurant
Spa and Restaurant staff are especially friendly and helpful. We could stay at spa even after cheking-out. (you can allow to stay check-out day till 22:00 which is really super offer for wellness lover) Bed in an old room was too soft. I had facial massage and relatively satisfied but the staff who treated me was a little bit rough.
Lovely location; newly renovated, fresh facilities; attention to attractive design in decoration; main building is a building of historic interest Welcome was a bit distracted.
Stayed here as we were attending a wedding and this was the venue for the reception/celebrations. What a fabulous venue; beautiful hotel and what amazing views. We enjoyed the hotel so much we plan to go back for a relaxing break on our own.
We liked it's spacious rooms, the service provided and the indoor pool.
Room was beautiful and the pool and spa was great!
The SPA! Great pools (in/outdoor) plus other facilities, great terrace outside. The outdoor resturant/terrace, with a fantastic views across the sea and the mountains. The indoor restaurant lacks cosiness. No aircon in the room!!
large room and bathroom, clean, close to the autobahn exit, quiet area, close to the city (Muenchen) very epensive brekfast (15 Euro)
Good overnight stay, not far from moterway and easy to find. Warm comfortable spacious rooms. Lovel Italian restaurant attached as an alternative to eating in the hotel. Wonderful selection at breakfast. Breakfast in the conservatory very hot despite being 0 degrees outside. There is an option of eating in the dining room.
the recepsionist at night was so rude
The location of the hotel is superb: 5 minutes to the train station, 30 minutes to the center of Munich. We liked the design of the hotel and restaurant, the food there was also excellent. There were some problems with room clening. If you don't allow the staff inside before 10 a.m., your room will be uncleaned in the evening
the rooms are very clean and large, the staff of the hotel is very efficient, good location, close to Munchen. wifi internet should bue free and the breakfast included, a litle bit noise because of traffic
Very good hotel (real value for money), in the soroundings of München, close to the A8 motorway, free parking at the hotel. The breakfast price (15 € / person) is very high.
Rooms were clean with good facilities. No bar or resteurant. However, there are bars and resteurants near by.
idid injoi at holiday inn unterhaching vary good staf and qut location with larj rom but the ander grawnd barking is smol saiz
Awesome morning breakfast - exceptional friendly staff and very helpful - Great location away from Munich's City center but nearby train station for easy access to anywhere you want to go in the Munich area They charge us a lot more money for their third night stay that we hadn't planned on staying because of Oktoberfest
Th estff preformance and the quietinece of the area. The price of the internet service.
The location and food. 1-The poor response and lasieness of staff. 2-The price of services provided by the hotel i.e internet services and food.
excellent breakfast clean quiet rooms
Very friendly & heplful staff. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room.
The room, the breakfast, the ambience Nothing in paricular
Please write at least 15 words the food
We really appreciated the kind and prompt service, and the wonderful breakfast.
We stayed at Holiday Inn Munchen Unterhaching for 3 nights during the first weekend of Oktoberfest 2010. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. The location of the hotel is about a 10min walk from the station, and the station is about a 20min train ride from the city centre. The hotel was a bit far away to get to, especially as the train that services the area is very infrequent - it only comes every 15 to 20mins. The price for breakfast was also very expensive - 18 euros per person. Much cheaper to grab a bite to eat from the bakery across the street from the hotel!
good location and perfect staff and service... The hotel is not small but very comfortable. I think i will advice it to everyone is enough far from the center, but easy to reach using s-bahn
The breakfast staff were amazing and the variety was spectacular the evening male frontdesk clerk was very cranky and offered little help in english,he seemed to be better the second night
We got a good family room for 2adults,1child and 1senior. The room was clean, very big and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We went to the small town of Miesbach and had some food in the local restaurant because the hotels restaurant had high prices. Breakfast was the best ever. Very rich in options. Some information was in english but most in german.
Nice and clean room
Silent , good location, good service
played football indside
breakfast, large room
Hospitality was excellent
Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. And the receptionist at desk on our arrival in the evening was terrific! Receptionist in the morning on our departure rather abrupt and unhelpful.
freindly staff in the restaurant, excellent food and reasonable selection in the bar
Refrigerator was warm.
Nice breakfast... very helpful receiptioinst named AnnaMarie
-People/Staff very friendly and breakfast great. -Engine noise all night, couldn't sleep at all...so no good. Dont' know if this was the lift noise or what it was..., didn't sleep the whole night.-Internet conection really weak....gets disconected all the time.-If you go there with the idea of going to an SPA, just forget it. There is just sauna and turkish bath which for me is not an SPA. No treatments like wraps or what so ever...Wanted a back massage and finally the lady did what she wanted, body massage, which is not bad but not great and anyway not what i was looking for.
the room was clean, warm and the breakfast was excellent
Comfort, quakity of accommodation and meals, good customer service at all times
clean adn cosy Was a bit more pricey than I hoped to pay, but there was limited availaibilty in the area so that was just the way it was
Very accommodating, nice friendly bar, ability to conduct meetings in public area.Quiet and very civil. English well spoken by all. Hotel restaurant , overbearing and pretentious service not matching the food quality.
What a find! We thought everything was perfect! We stayed 2 nights. Room was good size and comfortable. Modern coffee maker in room, along with stocked mini fridge. Beds were very comfortable with individual duvets. Parking convenient (12 euro/night), breakfast was plentiful with many offerings, and above all, service was impecable. Friendly, courteous and responsive. Beautifully decorated, clean and new. I've stayed in 5 stars that weren't this nice! One added bonus was the large window in the shower overlooking the beds, had electronic shades between the glass for privacy and there were heat lamps and towel warmers in the bathroom. Thick plush towels, granite. Very high finishes and high quality. We will definitely stay here again! Could have used another pillow. We arrived very late both nights back and crashed into bed. Kept meaning to ask for another pillow, but it was so late, we were just too tired. The pillows are either down or something like it, so they are very flat when you put your head down.
I was delighted by the helpful and friendly attitude of the staff
Hotel staff was wonderful and friendly. I was only in this hotel for 3 nights. One day I walked into the hotel lobby and was greeted by name by the staff at the hotel. I had problems getting my wireless to work in my room and one of the staff came up to my room to help me. Staff always friendly!
Excellent breakfast and sauna. Not good clean of room.
location, comfort en good breakfast none
Beautiful appartment, with all that you can ask for. From lots of light (that hotels seem to neglect) up to a dishwasher.
Comfort,hotel staff, breakfast
I enjoyed the spacious rooms, the excellent Internet connection, the quiet country location, and, last but not least, I enjoyed a very good breakfast, included in the price of the chamber.
friendly owners, great breakfast, very clean, easy to get to
Very friendly staff and all quiet during the night.
Everything was wery good. There was no mini bar.
Very nice breakfast, good accomodation, friendly hotel staff, very nice spa facilities and right on to the lake. Very little provision for families with small children. not recommended for families, but more for couples of a certain age category.
Location is very good right on the lake, with lakeside dining, -- weather permitting. It thinks it is much better than it really is ! For this class of hotel ( 4* ) it needs air conditioning and a decent lift! Room was fine, but had nowhere to put suitcases if you did not want to fully unpack. However the biggest problem was the noise from smokers congregating at the front door and laughing and shouting until 3 am. Everything was overpriced for what it was.
Breakfast on the veranda was sublime. No air-conditioning, so got very warm at night (mid-July)
The biggest advantage of the hotel is the location itself. Quite, relaxing place, directly located at the lake with a stunning view to the Alps if the weather is nice. At the breakfast buffet there was not as much variety as you expect in a 4 star hotel.
Staff friendly and effective. Rooms big and new. Restaurant excellent. Highly recommended. Great value for money.
Location on the Starnberger See was superb with a ferry pier next to the hotel, making it ideal for a long walk and a ferry back. Even though our room did not have a view of the lake it was comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant menu was original and varied and the food of high quality. The terrace on the lakeside is great both for summer meals or drinks. Free parking was a bonus.
lakeside and good kitchen room 126 is a room over the staffentrance/delivery and very noisy, staff stands outside talkingboth late and early morning while smoking.not so nice! we had 2 rooms
Excellent location at Berg. Very good breakfast and restaurant although a bit overpriced. Free wi-fi. Very clean rooms and the hotel staff were very helpful. A bit noisy at nights if your room is facing the road and not the lake. At our first night there was a wedding reception at the hotel's restaurant and we were told that we could not use the bar! Shame especially during the Oktoberfest period. Very small elevator for a 4 star hotel and 70 rooms.
The view 1-When I arrive to the hotel the give me a room without a lake viow and I asked them to give me a room with a lake viow same the Picture that I reserved in booking.com ,but the hotel told me I have to paid 20 euro extra for that...!! 2-The hotel staff never smiling ..!! 3- the breekfast was very bad.....4-hotel staff was unhelpful and they dont care for guests
Great location directly on Starnberger See - a beautiful spot. Located in Leoni which is, thankfully, away from Starnberg itself - a little quieter if you really want to enjoy the location, but only a 7 min drive if you need to go there. Beautiful surrounds and walks - perfect for wandering, relaxing, bike riding etc.
I loved the modern design of the rooms. The breakfast was also amazing with everything I want: good yogurt; cereals; eggs; good bread; good orange juice; etc.The room’s isolation of sound was perfect. We do not listen any noise from the corridor and outside. If you have a car and you don’t mind to travel about 10-15Kms this is the best option to stay in Munich.
The hotel was excellent and so was the staff and service. I found the room very clean and comfortable, and the presence of a kitchen (very well equipped, I could cook several times and feel at home) and of a DVD/Divx/USB stick/CD player attached to the tv made evenings after work very pleasant. Internet is free (although on a cable, but it was conveniently provided by the reception). I was so happy in this hotel that I cancelled my reservation in another hotel in a better location and returned there. The location is poor, but very convenient if you have to visit eads. A shuttle bus connects to the Ottobrunn station, but if you want to go out in the evening you have to take into account paying for the taxi from the Ottobrunn Schnellbahn to the Hotel (about 10 eur).
I liked the room - just the right size. Also liked the small kitchen devices - quite useful The hotel is brand new and some small details are to be improved - like a robe to allow people to go to the sauna...
One of the best hotel, which I ever been and I Travel often.
Very modern, 3star hotel of 5star quality
Hotel is greate Breakfirst could be better
The hotel was great, but finding it was not easy as it is not registered on the satnav. The single beds were a little on the small side and my bed was not level.
The hotel is pretty new, breakfast is also very good and the service very polite. It has not a transport service to Munich, so Taxi are needed and they are pretty expensive in Germany.
Thanks! The fine hotel new, with the affable personnel, with all conveniences, a good breakfast, a sauna and fitness of halls!
It is very nice hotel and affordable. Internet is free. Internet is free but just wired.
Nice confortable rooms, free internet
The location was very convenient to me. Visited Campeon business park and this hotel was just 1 S-bahn stop from there, so there was good travel connection. The surroundings of the hotel is very nice and peaceful, and there is a rewe supermarket next to hotel building. Services in the hotel are in high standard.
It is a modern hotel. Room and bathroom were clean. Nicely situated, not far from good and silent walking surroundings. In average the personnel was friendly and polite. I needed to be at Campeon, and this Hotel - one S-bahn stop away - is fairly situated for that purpose. There was no attention payed to visitors during breakfast. My room had a bit of a dangerous ceiling (diagonal through the room).
Comfortable, Clean rooms, modern decor and facilities. Breakfast is expensive.
Good clean room, wifi in the room. The staff was helpful with maps. Underground free parking for guests. Public transport into the city is easy but we used car instead. Its not actually in Munich, but a suburb city, but very close. 10 euro per person breakfast is expensive.
it has a convenient store down stair. they didn't have the room for us. we have to change room three times. the staff was not accomodating and there is no apology.
The location is a little far away the city centre, however in a quiet but safe distrcit. The tram station is within 10-minute-walk max.
The room is spacious and clean. The decor is stylish. Free Wi-Fi. The location is convenient with a 5-minute walk to train station and another 20-minute train ride to city centre. A few stops to OST Bahn where you can connect S1 or S8 to the Airport. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A supermarket is just at your footstep.
Very efficient and functional. wlan was functional and fast. Free garage so no parking problems. Would definately go back.
Great location, clean, well maintained rooms, nice breakfast There was an issue with a key card not working leading to a member of the party sleeping in reception and some confusion resulting in the party taking 13 rooms rather than the required 12 but I don't blame the staff entirely. They were much better at English than I am at German!
location, quiet, and kind staff no
very warm profesional staff ,a lot of good will and asistence for every need.excelent breakfast , very good spa facilities.very recomended hote!l
All the workers of the Hotel have cordially devoted themselves to us. We could have a pleasant stay. Many thanks.
It's very closed to the motorway. It's very beautiful... it's worthy if you wants to visit Munich, Salisburg, Innsbruck etc. I enjoyed my stay!
Good room with a balcony, free parking, pair of vials of mineral water in a gift in a number, good breakfast, friendly personnel.
Helpful friendly staff, good food, and spotless rooms None
Its was near autobahn and the room was ok The restaurant was not satisfied. Our dishes came in different times one had already eaten when the rest of dishes arrieved. Some of our order was forgotten. They didn't give us the bill but only the price, afterwards we ask for the bill and found out they had charged us for about 20 euro too much. 17 euro for two small dry lamb chops is rather expensive i think
good restaurant - easy to find
Breakfast was fantastic, hotel had a nice Germany countryside ambiance. Not much to do in the town, but a good stopover on way in or out of Munich. When I arrived the manager didn't seem to recognize my booking.com reservation, although he did give us the two rooms we booked. I overheard another guest who used booking.com discussing their reservation as well. The manager insisted on cash for the rooms even though the website said they accepted credit.
Excellent hotel, nice rooms. A place for children to play outside Ideal for the one night stay during our trip No possibility to pay with Visa or Maestro
Staff are extremely friendly and helped enormously with the language difference. The food was excellent. None
The staff were especially nice, friendly, and capable. The building is attractive and dates to the 1600s. The little village is basically suburban but pleasant. The location is good if you want to be able to reach central Munich or the Munich Airport by car.
staff was very friendly and helpful
Excellent reception staff especially Jacob who was so welcoming and couldnt do more than he did also very pleasant. The breakfast was fantastic also the free mini bar was good not a great selection but enough. no swimming pool
The staff were all very polite and very helpful.
All Staffs are friendly and kindly. We enjoyed wellness (Sauna and Bath). Breakfast was good. Almost all parking space was occupied during our staying (Christmas season). It was very difficurt to find parking space around the hotel.Hotel is not so new, so clear noises were comming into our room from neighborhood rooms in the nights.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Friendly staff, nice room with overview to the lake.
Excellent experience. The owners are experienced hoteliers and provide city chic behind a traditional facade with a recent renovation. Great rooms with lake and mountain views. Good location, super staff, excellent breakfast buffet, good bar. Will return. No lift.
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room. The hotel provided a local tourist ticket (Kurkarte) which gave unlimited use of local buses and discounted admissions. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with attentive service. Not enough windows in the room for a splendid view, but enough for a fair one. A hotel of this class should provide free internet service. Coasters should be provided so that water rings are not left on the table and counter tops. A bit too close to the main road; in the summer, this could be quite unpleasant.
nice hotel but unfortunately the traffic noise from the street in front is disturbing. Even road construction starting at 7 am is allowed in Tegernsee.
Nice rooms, great view, good breakfast, friendly staff We arrived late, and despite a confirmed reservation they had released the room - fortunately they found a room for us!
The hotel obviously employs good staff who were friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was of good quality. Although the food was good, there was a poor selection of wine. We were both surprised for example that there was no German wine on offer. Also, we felt the room price was rather expensive.
A very nice, friendly, small hotel in Tegernsee, located on the lakeside road. Wonderful views. Easy walking distance to shops, facilities and restaurants.
Outstanding boutique hotel, wonderful staff, old (building) meets new (interior design) in perfect balance, spacious rooms, all with spectacular lake view and you notice the incredible attention to detail all over the hotel, from the smallest decorating touches to the amenities in the bathrooms (Bogner - perfect choice for a Bavarian hotel!).
It is a small but nice designed hotel that gave us a good comfort. The location is easy to access. It is located next to the Monte Mare spa, the real destination where we made this trip from Munich for. I think the hotel is not bad but nothing impressive given the price they charged us. I & my husband had a chance to visit Bayern hotel for our dinner and we felt Bayern is far better hotel in all aspects although to what i understand these two hotel are suppossed to be both 4 star. But it seems to us they are in different league.
We had to leave at 6:45 am due to an early flight from Munich, and were not able to get anything to eat prior to leaving.
This was an amazing place. It was charming, room was beautiful and huge. Probably the best hotel experience ever including cost. Would prefer non smoking every where especially dining room.
We had a very nice room and opposite the hotel they also have an excellent brewery serving the local beer with superb food and very well known in Munich as a place to eat. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts I have had and I travel for work every week and stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. It also has a very family friendly.
We loved the quaint little town out of the city spotlights. The staff were so helpful and most spoke English. The restaurant was on site and excellent. The breakfasts were also very good. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable place to stay. Also Aying was on the S-bahn so we had easy access to Munich.
Friendly people, great dining, nice sauna, peaceful environment.
Very fine hotel and the coffe at the breakfast now it's very good.
Beautifully decorated hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Excellent cuisine. Easy train connection to centre of Munich
Very clean well furnished hotel with character, very pleasant staff.
Very nice hotel owned nowdays by Italian family. Clean, cosy, comfortable. Excellent view! Highly reccomened!
Extremely friendly staff makes you feel very welcome. Outstanding restaurant.
Pleasant location, close to our business location
very quiet and comfortable room, albeit no air conditioning, but it was cold so it didn't matter. Would definitely return.
Beautiful location adjacent to Grunvald castle. Lovely food but expensive. If you have difficulty with stairs, request a room on a low floor.
Breakfast very good.
The hotel did not have a lift and the train station nearby was only a trem station and not an main station
The warm and friendly staff and ambience created a very welcoming atmosphere and a feeling of beeing at home.
Beautifulk room, very, very clean;all possible facilities (nice touch inclusing fresh flowers in the room) No lift but helpful staff
Near lake, promenade, beach, boat excursions. Used it as base for trips to Munich with the S-Bahn. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast room, good breakfast. Adequate parking without charge. 7 minute walk to train station.
Location, friendly staff and good breakfast
The staff was wonderful. We appreciated the information given about places to eat, and directions for the next day. He was very pleasant. Only that we did want seperate beds, but on the short notice that we gave it was fine to share a bed.
Very good all round hotel. It was very expensive for the facilities provided.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.
STaff were very helpful; hotel is beautifully decorated; location very good, especially being close to s bahn
This is a nice small hotel with very friendly staff. It's in a great quiet location only a 5 minute walk from the train station and lake with many nearby restaurants. Only a 25 minute train trip to the centre of Munich. Good quality breakfast.
Nice and quiet, great breakfast, excellent service, near to the seepromenade and the city center, only 15 minutes from munich. No privacy in rooms, only if needed , curtains should be closed.
