Stylish room, peace and quiet.
No wine on stock ;-) We had to drive to the village and buy it. After a long journey, it was exhaustive.
Peaceful location in the countryside, the owner has put all her heart into this carefully renovated house. I recommend it and will surely go back when I will be in that area.
I travelled when temperatures were ultra hot, so the night was hot too inspite of the fan, but that’s not the fault of the lovely house.
The place is cute and apparently it is within a vineyard. The lady manager is helpful. The bedroom is also cute with some “sardine” motifs everywhere. There was soap and shampoo, hairdryer and everything was clean.
We had a terrible night there, which was due mainly to the weather: it has been the worst day of Canicule in August French summer... ok, it was the weather BUT... there was no air conditioning in the bedroom (which I think is a huge mistake, since every year summers there are intense). If we opened the windows, many insects came inside. The manager offered us a very weak ventilator, thin, and enough only for one person. I think it lacked a little bit of attention here: we were the only guests that night and the ventilator of another room could have been offered. The result: I could not sleep the whole night due to the extreme heat inside the bedroom and hopefully my husband could (since the ventilator was at his side of the bed) because we would drive 350km the other day... Breakfast, served in the very dirty and not well maintained yard, is very poor as well. By staying in such a cute place (what the pictures on Booking.com show) I was expecting something waaaay charmer. The site were the B&B is located is nice because is not very far from Châteauneuf du Papes and a great spot to sleepover prior to a car trip towards La Dordogne, for example, and after a full day of vineyards and tasting wines in Chateauneuf (which was exactly what we did). But... I don’t think we would stay here another time, unfortunately.
Just go there and stay!
