10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and close to the beach!! Beautiful grounds and delicious breakfast.
Cons: Nothing- great retreat to stay at if you want to break the Camiño hike into two days!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is beautiful! Wonderful staff, excellent quiet rooms (we could only barely hear our neighbors so the rooms must have good sound proofing - unusual on the Camino!), loved spending a couple of hours reading in the garden. Our hostess even brought us a cold drink. Wonderful stay!
Cons: Breakfast is all homemade with care so we are reluctant to even mention it, but we don’t eat cake or fried white bread for breakfast (or at all). The option of something simple like a boiled egg and/or a piece of fresh fruit for North American tastes would be a good idea. Coffee was good though!

Pros: The entire place was just a perfect cocoon! The loundge and the fire station, the library, the bedroom was just perfect! And the dinner was just excellent couldn’t wish for a better place to stay over a little stop at the end of my Camino! Also rely loved my stay there and will definitely go back there when I will be around!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is gorgeous. The rooms are wonderful and the breakfast and dinner were amazing. I would definitely recommend to have dinner at the place (25 euro per person for a lot of delicious food!)
Cons: The female owner is really nice but I believe she can come off as a bit direct and short for foreigners (or possibly she was very stressed the evening we arrived).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most amazing Casa! Fantastic rooms and whole establishment, beautifully decorated. The staff were exceptional, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. They organised a taxi for us back to Santiago and brought breakfast forward to accomodate our plans. The best part is the food - amazing dinner provided (5 courses) and stunning breakfast! These people love to cook & spoil you.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Dinner and breakfast very good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old Quinta/Casa...all renovated. Nicely decorated rooms, with many little details. The owners did think about everything to make our stay one of the best in Spain. The breakfast is great, unbelievable. Beautiful breakfast room, so many details..whatever you can think of, it was on the table or prepared instantly. All fresh, home-made. Same for the dinner...too much food, but all very nice with great wines. Unbelievable. Thank you so much for our great stay.
Cons: Nothing - great time. Thank you !!
7.5 Good
Pros: It was okey. But not suitable for anyone from England as all Spanish.
Cons: To far from anywhere. Would have to drive every day. No English t.v.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay, with friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant had some fantastic local food, and overall we had a lovely time there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Have dinner at this Casa. The meal was fantastic - zamvrinas starters were very good, and there were two servings for each of us. The fish was cooked perfectly, fresh and moist. The home made desserts were the best we had - cheesecake and chocolate mousse. 2. Service was excellent. The owner-host was very gracious and accommodated our meal time preferences. In addition, he played background music in English during dinner. 3. The decor of the entire place will put one in a vacation/relaxation mood. It's very tastefully done. 4 The breakfast spread was very good. There was ample selection - yogurt, fruits, jambon/cheese, OJ, jams, honey, coffee. 5 The attention to detail included switching on certain lamps in our bedrooms before we checked in. It was a delightful surprise opening a door to an ambient lighted bedroom. The beds were comfortable, pillows were tempurpedic/memory foam. My wife felt it was the best pillows on this trip.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.

Pros: Friendliness of owner and family The home made food and excellent wine The bagpipes and chatting with the family A quiet and beautiful location
Cons: Everything exceeded my expectations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly one of the best places we have stayed in 20+ years of traveling. The location was perfect for getting away from the daily routine and settling into nature. There are many walks that we took right from the front door that always seem to end up in a nearby bar or restaurant. Mari Carmen is a true delight to talk with and share stories over a drink or dinner. Her homemade meals made me forget going to a restaurant again when we had access to such delightful food and conversation. We will absolutely be back to spend more time switching off our phones and enjoying the sounds and pace of the countryside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, great food and lovely owner.

Cons: Everything was perfect
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner/family were charming, very helpful We enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal, breakfast was also very good although we only wanted a continental breakfast we could have chosen a cooked breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful house in a wooded valley with a great view over the fields. We dined there both nights, first on fish (caught locally the day before) with a great salad and secondly on hearty ox/beef (reared on a family farm). Meals were beautifully presented, tasty three course and coffee. Starters were salads one day and soup the other day. We were also served good large breakfasts in the local tradition that lasted me well. Our bedroom was quite a good size, en-suite, with a balcony, view and shared sitting room. The proprietor generously showed us the local lighthouse and bay. It is a short walk from the beach up to the house.

Pros: We received a warm welcome and were shown to our very comfortable room on the first floor at the back. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, quiet, beds are comfortable, shower good. The location is part way between Cee and Corcubion village proper, so a few minutes walk in either direction for a restaurant. We were particularly looking for a quiet, restful room, and we got that!
Cons: The price is a bit high compared to our other similar private rooms but we enjoyed this place and would recommend it. We were disappointed to be told that none of the twin rooms had a view of the harbour, but it did have a small balcony overlooking the street.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is superb! A small family run place that is more like a B&B. Very friendly, informative and helpful. If your traveling from Muxia it's at the end of town on the Camino. I recommend the 1.5 k walk to the beach and restaurant outside of town! The walk passes an estuary that leads to the ocean. We saw surfers and fishermen and general beach bums enjoying the lovely sandy beach and beautiful views. Heaven. Breakfast was great. The hosts gave us fresh fruit and sent us packing with homemade treats!

Pros: Lovely spacious room with a terrace, great to sit and read after a days walking. Bed was super comfy and shutters made the room nice and dark for sleeping. The owner spoke a little English and was really helpful telling me where to go for food and had the menus as well. 10 to 15 minute walk along a very quite road is a lovely beach and beach bar with great views, although food overpriced. A really good stop on my way to Muxia from Finisterre

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host is fabulous and there are really nice added touches like a rug for each bed so your feet don’t get cold! He also provides real towels, which was an added luxury after many weeks of using a travel towel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet area and close to town. Staff were great and friendly, facilities clean and comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Property location was not where booking.com indicated, it was about 1km distant, and we needed to ask locals for directions as we came from town centre.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very attentive. There were little rugs at the side of the bed for poor aching feet! Kitchen very adequate. Would stay again.
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bathroom was large and clean
Cons: The property manager tried to say I wasn’t charged on booking.com and ask me to pay. He insisted there was nowhere to dry the laundry if I decided to hand wash my clothes and said washer and dryer were the only options; however, when leaving the albergue in the morning, there was a drying rack with clothes on it by the door that was brought in from the night before. The hospitaliero, also came in at 10:30 and turned on all the lights in the dormitory when people were sleeping. As a previous Peregrino... he should know better. The dormitory is hot and muggy, windows did nothing to help. People would smoke right outside the window
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything
Cons: The fact I was only staying one night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely quiet spot without traffic or any other noise. Very friendly staff (owners). Much attention for details like: hooks in the shower for clothes and towel. They have a centrifuge (which in my opinion should be standard available in every Albergue), and even small rugs to for next to your bed (to put your feet on).
7.5 Good
Pros: Bathroom, room, good WiFi connection, kitchen, cerveza at the reception and some food to buy (cause it was very rainy), good location, restaurant few steps from albergue
Cons: I waited for the personal in my check in
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice friendly place, even had bedside mats for your tired feet ! Small shop and kitchen, I ate in, had spaghetti bolognese, the warden even put out free bread and olives for me. Has a small bar as well !
Cons: Nothing at all
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Pedro was very friendly and picked us up from town. He also said we could leave in the morning when ever we wanted to.

Cons: It met my needs so I cannot say there was anything I disliked.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great and the staff very gentle
Cons: Location, can't reach without car
5.8 Okay
Pros: Faily quiet but so out of the way requiring taxis. No breakfast until 9am is ridiculous.
Cons: Mosquito-filled room made sleeping impossible if you wanted fresh air
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent host. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable.
Cons: Not on the camino trail (my fault for not checking on booking) but only a 6 euro taxi ride away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming hostess - very warmly greeted on my arrival - even thought it was after 01:00 at night. I slept the sleep of a thousand sleeps on lovely fresh bedsheets. I opened the windows and shutters to let in the warm night air. The scent of pine and eucalyptus trees came in through my window and hastened the onset of sleep. A handwritten note had been left on my bedside table saying thank you for returning to hotel P - we hope you enjoy your stay with us again. It was a lovely touch.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very charming, modern and well maintained. Views are spectacular. We stayed in the suite with the terrace (even though we could not use it). The breakfast was OK, nice area with natural light and views, although we missed more variety (i.e. no eggs) and coffee was cold...
Cons: Apart the fact we were unlucky with the weather, the fact is that in this area storms are quite common so they should do something to fix these problems. WiFi was very poor with constant fail downs. They tell me it is normal there since they are in an isolated area, not due to the storm. TV coverage was also on and off. We could not use the outside facilities either due to the rain, not a single covered area in the garden to get some air or smoke. Not even the terrace of the suite, which was prepared to have a big umbrella but was not on. We were traveling around all day but at night we were stuck in the room, the middle of nowhere, with no WiFi, no TV, and two teenagers complaining. So we decided to cancel the last night due to the situation and tried to negotiate some compensation for it. They claimed that since the reservation was done through booking and the had paid the fee to booking no compensation could be negotiated. I fully understand that for the rooms, because they could not be booked again, but not for the 4 breakfast they will save... at the end bad taste in our mouth.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view. Clean pool. Warm welcome from Candy.
Cons: Setting just above very busy road. Only one chair. Tiny TV. Incorrect address, nearly 3 hours extra needed to find correct village A Ameixenda in Cee. Very high prices for very simple evening snack.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully renovated hotel with nice staff and a cosy bar to have a good wine or beer in the evening. We recommend to book a room with the stunning view on the sea. Breakfast is not your average hotel food with a wide range of different dishes to chose from.
Cons: No fridge in the room. The federal highway below the hotel is noisy.

Pros: A return visit for me, this hotel and town are just spectacular. The hotel is really clean, with lovely beds it was such a treat to be able to bring a family member here this year on my return.
Cons: I had pre-reserved a specific room in December for a May arrival, only to be told when I got there that my room was gone. The staff weren't impressed at first but eventually sorted it and they gave me the room I had booked and offered a very generous discount as a goodwill gesture. Will definitely be back again.

Cons: Food was adequate and tasty but unexceptional. Had to pay for breakfast (which was, however, good). Couldn’t turn the radiator on. Soap and shower gel were in packs that were impossible to open!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the family suite and they brought us water and cafe to the room and since we were doing the CAMINO they gave us a sandwich, orange and water to take away with us. It was an unexpected pleasant surprise!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived after a 30km walk and had a great experience. The staff were so thoughtful and gifted my partner a bottle of wine for his birthday, which we shared on the porch that overlooked a great view of the water. Room was comfortable, big and clean. The porch was a bonus. Having the restaurant downstairs was convenient, and we were able to takeaway lunch to continue on our camino dos faros. Food was tasty and extremely generous in portions. It was a good vibe there with locals and fellow hikers there sharing drinks and meals together.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Pilar, the owner, is worth the trip. Such a nice person
7.0 Good
Cons: The private room had no blinds and a street light shined bright all night and open to neighboring buildings. That was uncomfortable
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Right on the way to Fisterra, this relatively new albergue is a great place to spend a night. Pilar, our host, is wonderful. Restaurants and bars are nearby and it’s only 16km to Cabo Fisterra from here.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The lady who owns the albergue gave me the warmest welcome that I've ever received. She was so helpful, kind and friendly that I left with a big smile on my face.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location and shower thats about it
Cons: Couldve been due to room mates but it was loud, felt cheap, a bit run down and everything creaked
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pilar! What a lovely welcome. She was full of energy and buzzing. Very helpful with advice on where to eat and where to go etc. Her english wasnt great but she made great pains to advice us against walking through the forest to Negreira with 100km/h wind and rain. We really appreciated it.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice private room! Pilar is a sweetheart.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Host was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: Bunk beds had no privacy, no security, no door. Just a set of blinds separated the double bunk space from the hallway going from reception to common kit hen area. Didn't really bother me, as I have been walking the Camino Frances for over a month, and quite used to dormitory style bunk beds.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: proactivity of personnel in making sure I had all services needed around the area
Cons: the room door was hard to close, breakfast was shared with all guests by accessing the fridge, lacking quantity
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location close to the Camino and the bars and restaurants. Really nice hostilerria made us welcome.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A friendly, family run hotel right on the Camino Finisterre. As well as the accommodation being clean and comfortable, the evening meal is good value and well cooked by Pepe, the chef/owner. My travelling companion was vegan and also gluten intolerant. We explained this to Pepe and she was very well looked after and even offered a second helping which she happily accepted. Thanks to Pepe and his staff for a nice comfortable night to remember on our Camino Finisterre.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Dark, limited food and lounge space
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Very reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly, helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. It's not fancy but it's everything you need.
Cons: There was no parking facilities but at this te of year it wasn't a problem for me. I was able to park on the street very near the hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.
Cons: The room did not have a heater and the “breakfast” consisted of orange juice, coffee and toast with jam. I expected some protein like cheese, ham or yoghurt, some cereal and some fruit. The dinner of the day was pretty mediocre too. The lift was very dodgy and we were scared every time we used it!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, super value also breakfast
7.5 Good

Overview Reviews

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach and Seaview were really good. Anytime you can wake up to the sound of the waves it is good. Room was compact, fine as a single, and bathroom was spacious, with large bath. My Spanish is not great, but found the team to be patient with my attempts and helpful with any queries I had. After all my Camino walking, I was able to get a coach just down from the hotel back to Santiago de Compostela - lovely coastal route instead of the motorway.
Cons: Cancellation period excessive - all other similar hotels on this trip were changeable up to a day or two before travel. During peak summer period I could understand that in a resort style property, but totally unnecessary with September occupancy. At the time of booking, I enquires about airport transfers and would have stayed a third night if that had been answered - not sure if this is down to Bookings.com or the property. Evening option limited to a la carte Dinner menu - quality was good, but little atmosphere and expensive compared to other local similar standard options. Although on Camino Finisterre, location makes it an ideal breakfast lunch stop rather than a stopover. After walking on to the town and then out to the lighthouse, a taxi back to hotel is only about €10
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was very nice, location beautiful. Bed very comfy
Cons: Food very expensive- compared with rest of Camino and no alternatives nearby. Couldn't get breakfast until 8.30 ? Because it was Sunday? Maybe smaller portions and cheaper prices? Beach very handy but water very cold but that's not the hotels fault!!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast included
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very good and gave us a room with a view of the bay. Good restaurant. We stayed during off-season while on the Camino. Would recommend this as a change from an albergue. Good room and bathroom.
5.8 Okay
Pros: This is a small pension, bar and restaurant in the outskirts of Finisterra (Fisterra). There is asmall beach some 20 yards from the hotel with direct access from there. Nothing special as a beach but neverthless it is quite nice to be able to have a swin on arrival or early in the morning before breakfast. The rooms are just acceptable but there is nothing to say about that considering the rate charged.
Cons: The gentleman that handles the reception whom I believe is the owner could be more professional and pleasant
6.3 Good
Pros: Location near beach
Cons: Nobody's fault that our room was on fire when we arrived. They paid for us to stay in a hotel not far away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment had everything we needed and more.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location by the sea. The seafood dinner was delicious and very good value. Reasonable sized room though a little musty on arrival. We liked the informality of the owners - some might not.
Cons: No breakfasts served on Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed for the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was excellent considering they had a fire the previous week they let us stay in their small apartment. Excellent food and friendly staff
Cons: All good
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view and position is amazing
Cons: No wifi. The staff didn't make me feel welcomed. No way to pay with credit card even if is written on booking that you can. The room was not clean, and the owner did not realize it. But after they cleaned them.
