Everything about the property was just as I expected. Short drive from airport. Very close to main attractions. Exceptionally clean room. And a very helpful staff!

Hotel Portuense is situated at a very strategic place where by it is easily walkable to Santa Justa, Rossio Square, Tram 28 station, metro station etc. Very easy to find food around hotel as there is whole lot of resturant nearby, and not forgetting about souvenir shops are just along the way! You can get cheaper price here than other places. Cleanliness is great, room size is just nice as a triple room. 3 of us had a good night sleep! Oh ya, the kitchen served very nice coffee! Breakfast variety were not so great, but still alright to fill up your tummy. May be the host can add more choices in the future.

The people who work there are friendly, helpfull and have a sense of humor. The location is fab: in the centre but the street itself is quiet.

Should be used as a training centre for other hotels to show how it should be done cant understand why its only one star its much much better than that ,right in the centre loads of restraunts around perfect for me .
