Very eclectic and old. Rickety elevator. Got stuck in it. Very noisy rooftop bar. So noisy that the hotel had earphones on the bed instead of mints!
Pros. The hostel was at a great location! Great views in the morning, easy to get around most places on foot, close to public transportation, various places to dine. The lounge was also a great amenity as well as the beer garden!
Cons. There was a cockroach on my last night that jump into my bed; I don’t know if that’s expected for an old building, but that threw off the cleanliness factor for me.
Pros. Good location. Near scenic lookout, tram and metro. They provide you with a combo lock for your locker, so you don't need to bring your own.
Cons. Front desk staff was rude. Bathroom was gross. Breakfast was mediocre. Proabably OK if you don't have dietary restrictions (i.e. vegertarian). The facilities are worn down (old), far from luxurious.
