Great metro access, lovely room and staff
Everyone was very helpful with information and directions. My very nice room was on the seventh floor overlooking a view of the hills and sea, and colorful apartment complexes nearby. comfortable beds, nice bedding, great bathroom, good walls prevented hearing any neighboring room activity. Many nice selections at the breakfast buffet.
Other than just walking around the neighborhood, you do have to take the metro to see anything. However, the beautifully tiled metro entrance is just steps away from the front door, and it's a very beautiful metro station, So really no complaints
I booked this hotel because it advertised airport transportation. This is not true; is fraudulent advertising; so I would not stay there again.

my fault i got lost trying to get there , police at airport we very helpful, if you are going to see the alfama i recommend using the Metro (subway) once we got our pass and in , it was a breeze to use and hooks up with rail /bus etc.I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends . The Metro can be taken right from the airport.
If you have a car it is hunt for parking or pay for the underground.
