The staffs are super friendly and well accommodating.
Very boring location, rooms are aging, boring and noise isolation poor
The bar service - excellent Transport difficult to town centre
Great Staff. Comfortable beds. Good showers. Rooms although comfortable were quite basic for 5 star clasification. Breakfast was dreadful, especially at â¬20 per person. Cold, congealed cooked food, no bread left with an hour and a half of service left. Burnt pastry.
Really elegant and cheap
Close to the airport. The overall condition of the hotel was poor, quite dirty and the rooms (we asked for a change) were quite "beaten up". The carpets were stained, dust everywhere and the bathrooms need a good cleaning with new caulking in around the shower. The staff we found to have "low moral" which may be a direct result from poor management. Which is quite disappointing as some were quite nice. It just seems like the owners of the hotel (who ever they may be) have given up in terms of the basics. Not a 5 star by all means; this hotel needs a big wake up!
The bedroom is modern and equipped with the basic facilities. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel is a five minute walk from the metro. The basic double rooms aren't pratical: there are no bed-side tables, no place to hang hand-towels or to place the suitcases. The mini-bar and room-service don't have much to offer. No kettle to boil water for coffee/tea in the bedroom. There is no free internet and no wi-fi at all in the bedroom (we had to take our own cable from the recpetion). The comfort and service provided are far from what is expected from a five-star hotel.
Excellent hotel. Quality has exceeded expectation. Good atmosphere for rest and work. Good staff in Hotel and especially in restaurant. I like this Hotel and will stay there more.
The room was very comfortable. Lobby bar service was not up to standard fo the hotel
Clean room, pleasant staff, comfortable bed
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, like nowhere else. Thank you very much. Original design and great food (local and Japanese). Spa facilities not working yet (this is brand new hotel).
Positiv was the free access to the gym and the luggage room. Although new hotel the carpet in the room was very dirty already and there is no effort to clean it proper. We had asked for a wake up call at 5 am and I am glad I did not rely on the hotel as they did not wake us!! The service is lacking behind for a 5 star hotel.
value for money nice staff good comfort older hotel
Location is very good, central but quiet. Hotel is new (4 years) and installations are excellent. Breakfast is very good. People are very kind.
Breakfast was excellent
Nice room and excellent breakfast buffet included in the room charge.
Eating at the restaurant and the drinks were good. Helpful service. Great house keeping. Nice curb appeal. Elevator would not go to the correct floor. Worse elevator I have ever experienced. In bar got an orange juice. 12 ounces for 3 euros. Same server at dinner 6 ounces for 3 euros.
this is a highly overrated 3 syar hotel with poor design and tasteless decoration. uncomfortable beds. 5 stars is a rip off
room service, facilities, quiet bed springs were noisy
Rooms were ok, silent(except for work nearby) spacious enough. Lifts were slow to arrive, access to the stairway should be allowed (little need for a lift when your room is on 2nd floor) Breakfast was excellent, buffet had good choice. Restaurant was a bit disappointing
The best breakfast that I have had at Europe. The room was very nice. It was near to the subway and near to the El Corte Inglés. I didn't like the fact that I needed to pay € 5,00 more to order anything from the room, when the restaurant closes at 22:30 and the bar (to order food) closes at 23:15.
Good quality rooms and service. Location is four metro stops from the centre but metro station close by. The hot food served at breakfast could have been warmer.
They recommended us a restaurant with wanderful wiews of Lisboa, Graça. Please don't send more customers to this restaurant, very bad reputation for the hotel.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very modern with many ammenities along with several news TV stations in english. The morning buffet breakfast had many selections and was very good. The location wasn't in the old town, but the hotel was only a block away from the excellent subway station that took you to all of the sites of Lisbon. Nothing.
A good size family bedroom. Plent of room for an extra bed and a travel cot.The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Nice and quiet at night.
Very well designed and modern; it looks like a four star hotel and the staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. Wifi throughout the hotel was one of the reasons I chose that hotel. It is really only suitable for tourists who are out all day and does not have good enough facilities for business travellers - eg no quick cleaning and pressing service, a snack bar but no restaurant. It wasn't my first choice of hotel but other hotels were full. The cleaning in the room wasn't at all thorough.
Convenient and pure room, the affable personnel. The free Internet. There was no place on a hotel parking. A small choice of dishes for a breakfast.
Central location and quite acceptable standard and service. No coplaints nor dislikes.
Near to metro station. The beakfeast is good. The staff are very friendly. The room is very small for 4*. The wifi internet connexion is very bad; disconnect each 20-30 sec during whole period of 5 days. Cleanliness bathroom was good but not over the top. Is good for 3*, but not for 4*.
close to metro Campo pequeno bathroom not very clean, no info on facilities in the room. early check-in didn't seem to be possible (impression that this is a policy), needed warmer duvet.
Well located. Modern and clean
clean, quiet, useful staff n/a
It was central and resonably priced, quiet and well soundproofed rooms, Chocolates and water left the first night which was very nice but nothing on the second night! Rooms were small but as the hotel was in the centre of Lisboa this was accecptable.
Very comfortable and clean hotel.
The spacious room and that they were kind to get a bed for my daugther that was more confortable than the sofa bed. The breakfast was very plain. Not a good coffe
What I did not like about my stay at the hotel, was the size of the room. I stayed in a standard size room, but there was no room to move around, within the room because it seemed to crowded.
Amazing location, great rooms. The buffet breakfast could have been better
The food was out of this world, the service was great staff spoke very good english we had a great stay at the holiday inn lisbon continental
all comforts availlable no
excellent situation in the city (station of metro 5 min of the hotel). very comfortable.
big and confortable bed, nice room, well cleaned and good breakfast.
Good location for part sof Lisbon although not central to old town. Quiet and comfortable. Generous room. Distance from Old Town
The king-size bed was comfy and the location which is close to the Metro and shopping mall are plus points. The receptionist at the front desk was not friendly and didn't smile when we checked-in. It didn't make us feel too welcomed, unlike other Holiday Inn Hotels which we have been too. Also, it would have been nice if there was an indoor pool or jacuzzi.
The helpfulness and attitude of the staff. The hot water in our room was inadequate but this was rectified quite quickly by the staff
Great staff . Good breakfast.Close to metro, airport shuttle and spotlessly clean.
What I like best was the family room. Actually, it was divided in two room suites but connected with a door. The confort was also remarkable. Despite all the confort and cleanliness of my room, I was very disappointed with the restaurant food. Specially dinner. It was expensive (for Portuguese standards) and not characteristic of the region. They should have "Bacalhau", "Batatas ao Murro", "Sardinhas Assadas", "Pastéis de Nata", etc... The food was very beautiful but frozen inside sometimes (specifically potatoes). However, the breakfast should have more fruits.
Very helpful front-desk staff. Attractive design of the hotel itself. Rooms were very tasteful and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Somewhat distant from the city centre.
it is located on a quiet street and provided some anonymity the staff were unobtrusive and polite the lack of information about its facilities for use and the fact that it says the internet facility is for 24 hours timed as per your usage on the website but you are charged for 24 continuous hours whether you use it or not
I got really surprised with the hotel. Lisbon is a friendly city and the hotel is very well located. I would recommend for everybody.
location staff had a dry attitude
New and very clean, very helpful staff, next to Metro. the bed is very hard. Parking cost 10 euro per 24hrs.
The proffesionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the room
room very comfortable and clean. spacious. luxury hotel at good value. the location is a bit far from the city center where stores and restaurants are walking distance. Also a bit removed from the cultural hub of Lisbon with views of the hills and access to the tram.
salle de bain, lit, salle de fitness, spa manque de poids dans la salle de musculation
We were made very welcome. The room was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer. The members of staff were very helpful and professional.
I was booked into the Real Parque but was upgraded to their 5 star sister Hotel the Real Palazzio, as they had over-booked. This was just along the road and was very comfortable in a safe area. I was not charged any more, so don't know how much more expensive this would be, but the hotel was very nice. Lovely breakfast.
This Hotel is more use to deal with groups of tourist s, they will ignore you if you are on your own
Great hotel, close to downtown. Walking or a very quick cab ride to everything. Pretty quiet location with a friendly staff. Very clean inside and a wonderful morning breakfast included. Really enjoyed the stay!
Very nice hotel overall, well located close to the subway, quiet, very comfortable. Very nice buffet for breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff. We had nothing to complain about.
The meeting facilities are excellent. There is not hotel internet available for which you can get an invoice.
15 mins (outside rush hour) by taxi from the airport. A few minutes from Metro Parque which is just a few stops from lots of sightseeing. Very nice hotel. Hotel staff were better than great!
Very efficient staff. Free internet access in lobby. Printed our boarding cards without charge. Good coffeeshop in basement. Excellent amount of fruit at breakfast.Taxi rank outside the door. Metro two streets away. Very convinient for airport.!0 minutes Euro 10. Wind noise on 10th floor.
large room, excellent hotel staff
Good as described on the website
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast no
Our stay in the hotel Açores Lisboa was excellent! I will recommend this hotel for my friends! Thank you very much for your kind hospitality!
The location is ideal for all our needs and is consistently good value for money The absurb cost of bar prices and room fridge food and drink
very nice staff and a great price for the room provided parking garage quite expensive compared to other hotels in the area
Excellent location (5 metres to the metro station!), polite and really efficient staff, good breakfast, very clean and confortable room. Assolutamente CONSIGLIATO!
Would definitely come back
close enough to get to downtown lisbon, but far enough to relax. location atmosphere was not very good. no gardens or pool for relaxing atmosphere.
Very close to taxi stand, subway station and bus stop. Clean room, good breakfast, and wify internet access.
Nice room, pleasant staff. Bar service slow - lots of help around periodically and then nothing
Position of the hotel ( near metro, bus, train ), friendly people, clean. Breakfast was not extensive.
The service of the staff, our airco was not working and in 1 hour we had a new room with a good working airco.
Metro just outside Trying to find the entrance by car is impossible, nightmare traffic of course and no hotel signposts unlike all the other hotels!
Very comfortable room, excelent breakfast. The person at Reception very rude, unpolite. As leaving at 5.30 am I was not being able to benefit of breakfast, which was included in the room rate. The evening before I asked if in this case there is possible to receive a small pack with a sandwich or something to have breakfast while travelling (from my earlier experience this should have been possible). The boy at Reception said that I should pay 6 Euro or I should have asked I don't know how many hours before. I should mentione the restaurant was open.
cleanliness, breakfast, location only one computer in the hotel for the use of the travellers
It's rated as 3 stars but better than some 4 stars I have been. Highly recommended. Not all rooms are non-smoking.
Very helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Location slightly out of town but still easy to get around.
Good value for money Too hard bad/mattress, quite small bathroom, got a quite noisy street-side room while asked (through web reservation) quiet room; would probably be *** hotel in Germany or England
Nice, spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, modern hotel in very convenient location, very luxurious feel compared with other 3 stars - i think this hotel is only not a 4 star due to it having less extra facilities. Man at breakfast was a bit miserable, room was a bit noisy as near lift machinery and some vents of some sort, but neither of these problems were of any real significance.
Clean modern rooms with enough space for comfort (not enormous but fine). Double glazing and excellent air conditioning, noise no problem at all. Lovely hot strong shower! Good buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Right across the road from the fab Gulbenkian gardens, musuem, gallery and cafes. Metro and shopping centre close by, 3-4 mins walk, so very easy to get downtown, and the price is much better than downtown hotels. Good choice of bars and restaurants within 2-4 minutes. Some staff very helpful (some less so) Room initially allocated was smoking and a bit tobacco smelly. Fixed the next day though, replacement room was lovley. (If it happens to you, do ask). Be aware the hotel is used by lots of tour groups so can be busy in the reception, breakfast or bar if you happen to coincide with one. We didn't find this a big problem. A couple of hotel staff rather cold and unhelpful - others very friendly and efficient.
La comida y el trato del personal. La distancia con el centro de la ciudad, esta ubicado en un barrio muy bueno pero muy aburrido.
The fact that metro station was very close, good helpful staff, nice environment, clean and fair spacious rooms, breakfast was quite good Not very close to the center but good transportation
The location and fast service I arrived 5 minutes late for the breakfast, which ends at 10:30 and the waiter denied to make concession. Too uncondescending and robotic.
Nicely located just near the Gulbenkian garden. Quiet area, although we had some unluck with constructions going on outside (not the hotel) first morning. A few minutes walk to the nearest Metro station (inside El Corte Ingles). The one outside (ECI) is under reconstruction for a line connecting to the red and yellow line. So public transport will be much better in 2008. Far enough selections for breakfast, perhaps some fresh fruits and real yoghurt? We stayed at the 8th floor. Reasonably quiet although no sound proof walls. Friendly and helpful staff. Lacked fresh fruit for breakfast otherwise we did not dislike anything about this hotel.
Safe & clean environment There was no parking available.
I have been at the Zenit Lisboa 3 times so far -- never been disappointed. N/A
The location is a couple of KM from where you might like to eat in the evening, but is close to the Metro. Lisbon is basically a spreadout city and the metro is needed to get around. The staff were most helpful at reception. The rooms are servicable, a bit older and smaller than other hotels, but they work. Unfortunatelly we tried the restaurant for dinner. I suggest this be avoided - lack of quality and atmosphere. There are many other great places to eat in Lisbon.
The Zenit was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There are a couple of pastelarias just opposite for an excellent cheap breakfast. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport by bus and just 100m from the bus stop at Saldanha (15mins). It is well placed for exploring the city just a short bus ride (from Saldanha) or 20min walk to centre.
room's comfort, good position
We had booked only one night and unfortunatly the could not extend but we're helpful in finding another close by.
parking garage - too small and very difficult tp park
The hotel is pretty centric, it takes 20 minutes to walk to the centre, the rooms are nice and clean, there's no noise to bother you and the price is ok.
the room was spacious and clean. The lobby was comfortable, the restaurant excellent, but the top was the breakfast which was kind of an early lunch. Terrific the prices were expressed without VAT. We were surprised to had to pay a higher rate than the one fixed on the internet due to VAT. This was the first time
cleanliness cleaning lady would come in without knocking, walls to thin - could hear people
great location, walking distance to Metro
Excellent room, good value Would have liked closer proximity to historic area
Excellent breakfast, nice staff small bathtub
The location and cleanliness of the toilet. The lobby. You need to carry your luggage in a stairs before you reach the elevator.
Nice comfortable hotel. Very new furniture, well decorated. Reasonably close to Parque Metro Station. A little more wardrobe space would have been appreciated
Good, quiet, clean hotel. Good rate, considering it included breakfast which was good. We didn't try food in restaurant or drinks in bar but it looked good. Not in the best location, it is within a few mins walk of the Metro and only a few stops from the centre which is quite convenient but I prefer to stay in hotels closer to the city centre. I read reviews saying location was good, I didn't entirely agree.
Friendly helpful staff and a very good selection of breakfast food available No
Great price, location, amenities. I booked it for a conference when others stayed at the conference hotels. They paid 2-3 times as much, plus internet, plus breakfast. Turim Liboa is clean, comfortable and has a great staff. If you are looking for something comparable to a $300 usd a night hotel you will be disappointed, but if you want an excellent place to stay for the price this is it. Located on two metro lines, out of busy area, great public transportation, close to shopping and Gulbekian Museum. Zoo, restaurant district, downtown, etc are minutes away by bus or subway. The front desk, while friendly and fluent in at least three languages, had no recommendations on dinner etc. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, so restaurants/bars do shut down early and it was tricky to find something open in walking distance after 10-11pm. a minor inconvenience.
Big rooms, friendly staff, cleanliness
Big room (even for a triple), effective air-con, comfortable beds, good quality furniture & fittings, very clean, seemed well cared for. Also excellent breakfast, welcoming reception staff area immediately outside the hotel appeared a little run-down - but that's Lisbon for you ! Occasionally, some odd (fishy) smells in lift and corridors.
Quiet in terms of outside noises. Noise for water discharge from bathroom above.
Abt 300metres from metro not 100 Din like the breakfast, too boring but for that price cannot really complain
close to everything no
A proper, and simple, expresso was not included in the breakfast (over 1 euro extra charge)
Internet connection is not free
The room was very large, with lots of space, and the extended balcony was magnificent, with wonderful views of the town wall. The bathroom was huge! No BBC World News.
Location near public transport - bus, train to Sintra. Being next door to Pizza Hut. Finding it. Directions need to be much better for a major city hotel. Parking entry/exit under the hotel was one lane only shared by both directions, and bending round 2 corners.
We stayed there for only one night, and we would definitely go back again. The room was impeccably clean, we had a huge private balcony where we could catch some sun, the staff was ready to meet our requirements. It was definitely worth the money. The breakfast was basic, but ok, especially for a 3 star residencial. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was terrible. The air conditioning had a manual (high, medium, low fan) setting, which could be a bit noisy if left all night working.
Friendlyness of staff. In the bathroom, the noise of passing water from the room/rooms above.
Everything was good about it and the staff excellent. I thought the breakfast could have had a little more thought into the hot dishes - rather production cooking
reasonably comfortable; quiet neighborhood staff is not really helpful. check out is extremely slow as there was only one inefficient staff there during the rush hours (late morning). No internet service/availability at all.
The staff were very friendly and heplful. The hotel was clean and very comfortable...we loved the pool and friendly bar service!
Location was great, right in front of a metro station. Trying to set the shower's temperature was a nightmare. The breakfast's juice is terrible.
Hotel was new and modern, great pool, breakfast was good and rooms were comfortable Reception staff were quite inefficient
Hotel was convenient to the downtown area and historic district. Parking was free. There was no gym or hot tub.
Taking additional fee for child 5 years old nevetherless we asked not to place additional bed. Taking all volume of payment with cancellation of 1 night deposit but deposit have not returned to my credit card yet!
I would like to thank the hotel staff for being helpful with their service. It happened to be my birthday during the stay and they served the breakfast to the room without any extra charge. The staff at the front desk even said "Happy Birthday" to me. I was impressed by their thoughtfulness about their guests.
The pool plus the staff were very helpful about connecting rooms and moving the extra bed from 1 room to the other There was a metro strike the day after we arrived. It would have been very helpful if the staff had mentioned this to us on our arrival
good rooms, good staff
friendlyness of staff - in espesially the lady who served our floor - very helpsome aso. A separate restroom off the reception
