10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous grounds with a babbling brook that was visible and audible from our lovely room overlooking the front yard and field where we could see their sheep and horses. Comfy bed/pillows and modern bathroom. Really quiet and secluded, the perfect respite from city life. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice. Couple who own and run the place are super nice and genuine people. Would love to go again.
Cons: Nothing. Even the weather was amazing!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The cottage is beautful with the added bonus of a gorgeous and interesting garden. The bedrooms and lounge area have the benefit of their own entrance door and are both comfortable and attractive. Outside seating is beautiful and picturesque the owners are very friendly offering suggestions of where to visit the following day. Breakfast was excellent. Something for the visitor to bear in mind is that there are no pubs or resturants nearby for an evening meal but taking your own I'm sure would not be a problem, we did (but do check first ). For dog owners, no problem there is an enclosed orchard for exercise. All in all a very enjoyable stay, thankyou.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Griz and Colleen are the most amazing people - they made us feel right at home, and nothing was too big an ask. They had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and recommended some really top spots for sight seeing which was greatly appreciated. The room was spotless and comfortable, with all the thoughtful little touches you could want. Comfortable bed, quiet area and AMAZING breakfast. Was a lovely friendly environment, engaging both with Griz and Colleen, as well as the other guests, however we could also very easily have a quiet afternoon in our room. We're really social people and loved having chats with everyone. It truly felt that we were old friends visiting for the weekend in their beautiful home. Bonus points for all of the fur babies (this amazing B&B doubles as a petting zoo - Buddy the dog, cats, ducklings, calves and piggies!). Thank you again for such a memorable weekend - Phil and Fiona ;-)
Cons: Nothing - couldn't have asked for more.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay, lovely hosts who chatted and made us feel very welcome. Beautiful room with nice furniture and great bathroom. Would book again to go back to New Quay and see the dolphins again.
Cons: Slightly remote.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: bed was very comfortable, spacious room, lovely decor, large shower room with skylight window. plenty of electrical sockets, kettle for coffee/tea. charming furniture to compliment the room and other areas. bath robes and free toiletries. host Hugh was most friendly...did not see very much of Trisha, but when we did!, she was charming.
Cons: unable to relax as guests downstairs were so loud, and the TV was so loud you could have mistakenly believed you had yours on. hard to believe the couple in their eighties kept the noise going until at least 12 pm. appreciate this was a barn b+b but soundproofing would have gone a long way.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A 'Good life' experience. Much of the produce served at breakfast was home made or locally sourced. Our family room went beyond expectations as we had 2 separate bedrooms with a private Bathroom. Hugh and Trisha were very warm and welcoming hosts.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: There were no footpaths to access in the immediate area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Old Barn was spotlessly clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable and location was blissfully quiet! Perfect for relaxing but not to far from the many attractions of the west coast of Wales.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super house and lovely room. Food was excellent and owner/occupiers were very nice.
Cons: Was a bit isolated and not easy to get to.

Pros: Over three mornings had a variety of breakfasts which were very nice. One evening had dinner, which was ok. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Bedroom was good with a sea and sunset view. Complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon was lovely.
Cons: Breakfast bacon was over-cooked. Home made granola, raisons were burned. One of the dinners was let down by the presentation and the 'chunkiness' of the under-cooked courgette.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: there was nothing to dislike
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness, and the excellent dining available on the premises. Harbour side location. Parking!
7.0 Good
Pros: Location. Room and bathroom size. Staff were helpful. Very clean. Excellent breakfast
Cons: Shower was slow, felt like a secondary business to the restaurant underneath. Bed needs a new mattress. Bedroom needs to be decluttered. Breakfast was excellent but service slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: small but comfortable rooms, breakfast was exellent
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location, at the harbour side! Quaint and charming room on the ground floor, with our own small 'snug' with windows overlooking the harbour, and our own front door!
Cons: On arrival, we rang the bell to be let inside. Rang. And rang again. After about 20 min, and only after we had found a young man, working in the restaurant next door who went looking for the host, the host showed up and asked us how he could be of assistance. Not a word of apology. Not acceptable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly charming host and attentive staff, nice hotel in a first class location with parking directly opposite. Our bedroom was a bit tight for space, however the en-suite was massive with a good shower and furniture. The decor is a little dated but the room was very clean, with good coffee/tea making facilities, although the bed was soft for our taste. The restaurant had a wide selection of food and we had a good evening meal. The breakfast was substantial and very tasty, a good way to start the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right on the harbour, we have used the restaurant before but drove up to Aberystwyth for a chinese.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic breakfast
Cons: We booked this room because it stated that we would have a sea/waterview but instead it was of the road. However, the decor did match the images in the advert. We also booked this hotel because it stated that "we speak your language" - but they did not. That's not a problem but is unfair on other establishments that genuinely do speak our language. My feet were up against the bed footboard... and I'm not tall. There was an out-of-date yogurt hiding away in one of the drawers and an opened coffee machine capsule.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. location is good. clean and tidy
Cons: Shower was very poor. high bath to climb over to use. colour was green! Mattress was too soft and did not fit the bed the pillows disappeared between mattress and bed head. very old and creaky. bedroom was small and bathroom was too big. part of the window would not open it was very hot while we stayed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Food was fantastic, both breakfast and particularly dinner. Steaks cooked to perfection. This more than made up for the rather tired accommodation and strange layout of the room. Bill the owner could not do enough to help including storing our purchases from the seafood festival in the kitchen fridge for us. The rest of the staff were great too, especially Maria who is a bit of a character. Parking could have been a problem as the road outside was closed for the food festival but Bill arranged for us to park outside, ignoring the road closure, until there was a space available in the free car park directly opposite. Location was perfect, just a 1 minute walk to the harbour.
Cons: Room layout, small double bed.

Pros: Meinir the host is just wonderful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast central location and comfortable bed
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: The one breakfast I had was perfectly nice. The location is central, but then, Aberaeron is not a big place. The room was very hot, but I did find a rotator fan in the wardrobe, which helped.
Cons: The hotel is run by a couple. All I would say is, if you're a single female, and you should happen to get into an innocent conversation with the male of the partnership, do not expect to have breakfast cooked for you in the morning by the female of the partnership. I was told to f*** off, and had to find my breakfast somewhere else in the morning. Not too good when you're paying £90 per night for a smallish room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, comfy room
Cons: Room could have been cleaner bed side lamps very dusty
10.0 Excellent

6.8 Good
Pros: We had bedroom 6 which had views over the harbour, bed was really comfy and clean and excellent location
Cons: Could do with updating in the bar & restaurant, breakfasts were ok but needed to be more consistent and better organised. Also could do with more bar staff we saw people walk because they couldn’t get served
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location and very convenient
Cons: Extract fans located outside room 4 window were very noisy
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Grim! the saniflo toilet was horrendous it made a loud horrible noise all the time it seemed like every time someone in the building used the loo or sink it kept making a loud noise in our bathroom which kept us awake and scared our 6 yr old grandson Only the waitress was polite really we left without breakfast the 2nd morning after little sleep again The place needs some real TLC painting and generally cleaning up outside in the beer garden

Cons: No Smoking Room wasn’t
7.5 Good
Pros: The setting was amazing and the meal was very good
Cons: The building was a little shabby, no clean bedding or towels on our second day, a proper shower cubicle would have been nice. Had to wait ages for breakfast which wasn’t that great

Cons: Although reasonably well furnished room 1 was under average in size, particularly the bathroom.
