Pros: Great location, beautiful room, wine tasting on property, lovely restaurant
Pros: Lovely balconies amid lush foliage guaranteed privacy. Water features added to the serenity. Recently upgraded with high end finishes, very nice throughout the room and bathroom.
This is the nicest place to stay in Lodi. The rooms are well appointed, the food is delicious, and the grounds are well manicured. It is centrally located, yet quiet, near the old town of Lodi, the newly developed malls, and the fabulous wineries.
Pros: The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are exquisite, and the food in the Towne Restaurant is delicious!
Cons: They did not book me in the downstairs room requested well ahead of time, and confirmed twice - so it too a bit to get it resolved.
The exquisite room, the beautiful grounds, and the delicious food. Lodi is full of wonderful wineries, restaurants, and attractions. The Towne Restaurant is expensive, so you can eat in town for much less. The W & R is perfectly located close to town, but in a quiet area. The grounds are best seen in May. If you love to cycle - this is the place - especially May/June and Sept/Oct. Lodi produces 600 million bottles of premium wine - mostly sold in the Sonoma/Napa Counties. It takes 2.5# of grapes for one bottle! Being stuck in Lodi again, is not such a bad thing after-all! and...the Wine & Roses is the BEST place to be stuck in Lodi! :D
Pros: Everything. The exquisite room, the beautiful grounds, and the delicious food.
Cons: I had called ahead of time to confirm I was getting a down stairs patio in the Garden Rooms. When I arrived I was given an upstairs, and had to go back to the desk. Then they were going to give me a Spa Room - which has vibrant-clashing wall colors.
Pros: quiet / great garden area /good size room
Cons: price of room high for location /room taxes outrageous.. hotel tax & resort tax
Lodi is a small, agricultural community. There is a pleasant downtown area that boasts a fabulous cheese shop. Be sure to go to the bakery at the Dancing Fox. The breads and brunch are excellent. Lodi is known for Zinfandel wines, although they do not compare to Napa or Sonoma quality. We enjoyed an 'overnight' on the way to Sonoma. Be sure to try out the Wine and Roses restaurant!
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient.
Cons: The hotel has stone floors in restroom and entry. We were on the ground floor and the noise was incredible. Would not book a street level room.
Wine & Roses Hotel Restaurant Spa is a great choice for a stay in Lodi. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, detox wraps, or hydrotherapy. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Location and ease of check in was fast and smooth.
Cons: It was over priced for the area and star rating.
Pros: Megan and the staff were extremely helpful and our family enjoyed our stay. The location is also great.
Pros: Room was clean, seemed relatively sound proof unless someone was right outside your door. Quiet location, absolutely no traffic noise whatsoever!
Cons: Staff was ok. I thought the young lady that checked us in could have been more pleasent. She was short with me and her tone seemed like I was a bother. Cleaning crew the first morning were being very loud right outside our door while speaking Spanish.
Pros: Clean, bed and pillows very comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast a little sparse, front desk staff tolerant of guests, not necessarily glad to see you.
Pros: Friendly staff
Being next to a Starbucks and local strawberry stand was very convenient.
Pros: Breakfast included, workout room, not in the middle of the town/city, microwave and small refrig in room.
Cons: We had very 'heavy steppers' above us, but I'm not sure if that can be helped.
There are really only 3 acceptable choices when in this area and that is Hilton/Residence Inn/Hampton Inn and we like the Hampton Inn since it is closest for us when visiting the area. It is a very clean hotel and I love the fact that all linens are changed between guests. The rooms are clean with modern look, plenty of space, and the hotel itself is generally quiet. It has a pool which is a big plus and a complimentary breakfast that is pretty decent compared to others. There is shopping near by (walking distance) and plenty to eat. There isn't much to do in the area (besides wine tasting) and this is why it's hard to find good lodging in the area. This hotel is the best in the area (not including Hilton/Marriott Residence Inn which are a further drive into Stockton) period.
Pros: This is a great hotel if you are in Stockton/Lodi. It is nice and clean, in a great location with plenty of convenience shopping/eateries near by, has a decent breakfast, and is very safe.
Cons: They didn't have bacon at the breakfast counter anymore. The prices of pork bellies is through the roof right now so that may be it. Some kind of substitute (like sausage or even turkey product) would have been nice. Tiny issue overall.
From now on I'm planning on looking for Hampton Inns wherever I travel and hope that they are all as nice as this location.
Pros: The hotel had every amenity! The mattress was also better than average.
Cons: The water didn't get very hot.
As noted above we arrived to no hot water and my wife wanted to wash her hair and take a bath before going out to a reception. The front desk clerk was awful, showed no concern and told us that the law required them not to keep hot water too hot. I was even taken to another room where she ran the bath and again I told her that it was lukewarm. Our concerns were basically ignored. The following morning there was hot water. However I made a phone call to guest assistance and wrote an e-mail. I received an e-mail yesterday apologizing for the experience and refunding us one night's stay
Cons: We arrived about 3:30 pm and there was no hot water. I wish these places that provide breakfast with such flair would increase their quality, especially when it comes to pastries.
Pros: free breakfast, pool, hot coffee at all times. cart for your luggage.
Cons: pool closed at 10 pm
Clean hotel. Decent breakfast (complimentary). Easy access to freeway and other local shopping. Nice landscaping.
Pros: Their willingness to allow us a late check out and the fact the duvet is washed fresh for each guest.
The staff were very friendly and the accomodations great.
Pros: It was close to the activity I was involved in.

Pros: The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The upstairs room would have been very difficult for our disabled son to access, and she quickly changed us to a first floor room. She even called us in the new room to make sure everything was ok.
It was more comfortable than it looked--very basic.
Cons: Never thought about accessibility--how is it possible that there is no elevator? The noise from neighbors talking next to us and walking above us was quite audible.
Pros: Updated features
Pros: The room was clean and in great conditions. I had no complaints at all.
Pros: Better than average Motel 6. Good value the price.
Cons: Heavy stomper in room above me.

Pros: I loved the cleanliness and the peace! Nice and quiet.
Cons: I paid $96 for the night, a little pricey but I needed the room.
Pros: Very helpful and eager to please
Cons: The guy handling breakfast was the only one who didn't seem to like his job all though it could have just been a bad day . Hotel was completely booked

Cons: Noisy location close to freeways, didn't get any sleep due to noise of trucks and motorcycles.
Pros: Liked the cleanliness and location of the hotel. Liked the breakfast included. Liked the room had a microwave and mini fridge.
Cons: $120 per night was a little excessive, in my opinion. I am a Hilton Honors member and usually pay $120 - $150 for my stays at Hilton family hotels. I chose the Best Western because Hilton family hotels were sold out for the evening, I was tired from a 12 hour day and simply needed a place to sleep. The bedding, in my opinion is not too appealing to the eye. The furniture is a little outdated. I also don't particularly like how the coffee maker was located inside the restroom.
Perhaps these are my thoughts because I am more used to stating at higher end hotels.

Cons: The coffee finished to early in the morning.
Cons: I was woken in the middle of the night, and there was a giant cock roach crawling across the pillow I was sleepin on. I did not go back to sleep, and checked out at 6am.
Cons: I ask for two things from a hotel. Free Wifi and coffee in the morning. The room I was in did not have a signal for the wifi even though they advertised wifi to all rooms. Second, when I went to make coffee in the morning the basket was really dirty.
Pros: Close to our place of business for the weekend
Cons: The continental breakfast was a bit lacking
Liked the location and the friendly staff.
Pros: The breakfast made a very nice addition to our stay.

Pros: Came back to the hotel each day to a clean room
Cons: Each night there was people out side making loud noises and the front desk did nothing.
Pros: Nothing good to say ...
Cons: We had to change rooms 1st room bathroom toilet leaked 2nd room ok than to wake up try to shower to water being not drained in the tub all in all worst made me really think about using 3rd party ..
Will not stay in any hotel on that side of town again. Ghetto comes to mind. Wouldn't be a bad place if not for the location in east Lodi.
Pros: Breakfast room was nice and being able to use chair in room to secure door helped me sleep better.
Cons: The type of people loitering around. When my friend helped me check in, some guy opened his camper shell & tailgate. Lucky we already had taken my things out so they only stole bungee cords. Loud yelling in room down the way and knocking on my door at 3am
Cons: They placed us by weeklys.... They were loud and rude.
quiet place with ample parking, convenient to the highway and nice staff.
Pros: location, pet friendly, parking and cleanliness. Best of all the bed and pillows.
Cons: I could not log on to Wi-Fi despite the instructions provided by the hotel.

Pros: GREAT LOCATION, FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF,VERY CLEAN COMFORTABLE ROOMS,FREE BREAKFAST,I HAVE STAYED THERE MANY TIMES..
