The hotel is brand new, location is amazing, front desk staff is friendly. Our room was spacious and had a very nice view both of the city and the sea. Food was really good but when it gets busy in the morning you have to wait for your coffee for good 15 minutes as you can only order it from the waiters. We spent a night before our wedding in the hotel and needed to have express dry cleaning, we were told that it would be ready next day at 2pm but when we came to give the clothes we were told that it won't be ready until 4 which is too late as we had to leave the hotel around 3 already. We have asked for iron as well and the one given did not work and ironing board was broken. We were offered to have our clothes ironed and we had to pay for it, even though we would expect to have it as a complimentary service as the provided facilities did not work and we were misinformed regarding dry cleaning service as well. Not so many guests usually need these kind of things when they stay in the hotel but the problems we faced using this services were quite an issue in our situation
Food and service and value
The staff were exceptionally friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, . I would stay there again without hesitation, On the down side there was no iron in the room
Beach side position Public areas very worn and grubby. Our Seaview room had a much better view of the car park !
The location is fantastic Due to underpass located near the Hotel the east side of the hotel is rather noisy.
The rooms were newly renovated and each roon had a view if the sea. The hotel staff spoke perfect English and very helpful - whichis rare in israel from experience !! The hotel outside public areas + pool area look tired and in desperate need of a simple lick of paint.
location, breakfast included
nothing a cheated experience. nothing at all please do not reccomend this hotel to any one i am puting a campaign against this property on facebook
Nothing The service, cleanliness, attitude, and food In other words it was horrible and I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. IT WAS FILTHY
the view of sea yes comportament concierge and security
proximity to beach
Very good service and spacious room. The restaurant on the 11th floor was a bit pricey, the food was okay, the service was very good.
The location was fantastic. The pool and spa was great. In the business lounge the food was delicious. The staff was helpful. There was nothing not to like
breakfast was nice, beds comfortable. this is the only i would say. nothing to do with Crown Plaza that i have expected. the hotel is in the middle of nowhere...i regret that i stayed in that hotel. in tel aviv there are very many nice beach hotels with wonderful view. here, even taxi drivers do not know how to get to that hotel...
Clean and fresh linens Dinner was overpriced
It had a bed and a bathroom. Breakfast was okay but I've had better. They don't charge for Wi-Fi. Very expensive for what it is. The room does not, in any way, resemble the photos I saw on the site prior to booking. The reception was a building site and I do mean a building site with welding, grinding etc all going on throughout the day. No way on earth I'll be back at this hotel!!
The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is being renovated which is creating significant disruption, i.e. the breakfast was served in a room far too small for the number of hotel guests. On one morning I was unable to eat anything, on another I had to sit outside with plate on my lap.
The gym and pool facility and the business lounge. The position right in the centre of town, the building revovations going on and the unfriendly and unhelpful staff
Room was spacious and clean. Typical Sheraton Business hotel style. I hope the Leonardo chain will keep this functionality. Very little staff for such a big hotel. It could almost be described like an Embassy Suite style hotel.
The early check in (5am) clerk was outstanding. Very understanding and helpful. The room was big. My tv complaints were cared for as best as possible but with little satisfaction since the problem was mechanical in nature. I got from the airport to the hotel by rail and foot in about 25 minutes which was very convenient. The television remote only worked within 3 feet of the TV, wifi was pretty bad and dropped off a lot, the furnishings looked dated, the phone operator was rude, it was hard to leave the hotel at night since there weren't many options. Furnishings and carpet should be upgraded. Breakfast was very overpriced at 23 USD. It would be nice to have non-kosher options for international non-Jewish guests.
Adam is an excellent receptionist. The hotel is right in the center where we had to be I found Minibar-Drinks on the bill which we did not consume....
The pool on the roof was very pleasant and location can't be beat. But the smells, smaller room and small bathroom, and construction on the elevator and lack of attention to detail (the lamp was out on one side of the bed) made the value not equal the price. However, the proximity to central Tel Aviv and the gorgeous roof top private pool (small but exclusive feeling) with a bar makes this a worthy hotel. Pool staff was very polite. Fast check in. Small room for the high price. Very small bathroom. Bad smells throughout the hotel and extremely eerie art work.
Location, lobby appearance, roomis large and has a table to sit at, very helpful personnel who went out of their way to help. View is great. There was no shampoo and conditioner provided as you usually find in hotels in the U.S. There was some broken plaster in the bathroom.
The location was excellent the views from the hotel were fantastic. the swimming area was lovely and the food was good.
The room and breakfast Outside was very dirty and not taking care off. Hard to find an entrance.
Dramatic, smelly, un friendly, dirty place. A big mistake to book this expensive hotel We where very happy that we could cancel the other booked night!!
Needs a major facelift--the pool is a scene out of a movie-make sure to tell the people working at the pool you are staying there--b-c every seat is reserved for VIP--which I am unsure of who that is?? It needs a major renovation--but fit our needs for one night We felt it needed a makeover-the keys don't work well-
Location on beach, nice view, good buffet Noisy, messy like work in progress, build over a road, they never received the booking via the website and I did not get the room I booked.
helpful with requests, good breakfasts they were renovating- so very noisy and disturbing at the time. I suppose it will improve once they have done with the renovations.
Proximity to beach and main streets. No variety to the breakfasts. Same fruit every morning. Needs more variety!!!
The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location, right on the beach One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever had to stay at. We left after one day. The staff was rude and the breakfast was weak. I would not recommend this to anybody. It is built around a parking garage with trash piled up and lots of traffic noise
Close to beach Rooms need updating. Everything seems old. The entrance is very confusing.
The Staff was friendly and very helpful at all time Internet Voucher Operation
The location is great It is far too expensive but if money does not matter it is a nice choice
Excellent mgmt No atm machine
location on the beach plus easy access into the city. There is a gym and small pool plus the possibility to run along the beach. the breakfast is great a huge choice. i ate in one of the restaurants one night and found the food to be ok but not great considering the standing of the hotel.
Room cleaning-twise a day and breakfast: both service and menu. Nobody at the reception desk would smile ever! Also, they do not open teh door for you when you go in or out from the hotel, although it is called 5 star hotel.
comfortable room, good location on seashore. Although a fine hotel, it was overpriced. We paid well over 300 dollars for a room. At that rate one would expect the standard of room comfort and breakfast set by Dan Tel-Aviv, the city's best hotel.
Convenient location, coutreous friendly staff
good clear booking service via email. Good service in the hotel at all times
The spa and Gym are excellent. The breakfast is made for jewish people, and not considers that it is an international hotel
The friendly staff - comfortable and spacious room - peaceful and tranquil atmosphere - proximity to places of interest.
Nice location. Parking included. Sometimes the roomcleaning was very bad and done late in the afternoon. Towels weren't changed, some parts of the room weren't cleaned. Wifi is not free. Some of the hotel staff do not speak English. The "living room" sofa was very old and tired, and almost impossible to sit on.
We liked the location of the hotel. Tthe amneties were excellent. The room was very clean and the staff was nice. I didnt't like that the price did not include breakfast. the pool was not kid friendly. we did not like the entrance difficult to check in and out with a lot of luggage. The interent service was too expensive.
The hotel was perfectly located for my business appointments and being one street from the beach was an added plus. Another positive was the beautiful rooftop swimming pool. Everyone in the hotel was friendly and professional. Pool hours were a little unfriendly as a business traveler but I did have time on Saturday.
The mini kitchenette was very helpful, to keep drinks and snacks for the kids. The pool, although small was nice and clean and there were cold beverages available and had an amazing view of Tel-aviv. We felt that since it is such a family oriented hotel, that breakfast should have been included in the price like so many of the up-scale Israel hotels do.
I love the hotel, the area, the employees were super to us. Fantastic. Not really, I would only suggest a more American palate friendly in house menu
That I could move out next day We ordered a room with balcony through bookings.com and git a room without balcony for the sme prize. After we complained a reduction of us$ 20.- was given. The room was bad equipped, loud, the way to the ocean far, nothing appealing in so far.
Very nice hotel, great staff.Pool at roof of hotel was very clean just do not open before 10 am. We are very pleased
1. Extremly helpful staff at the reception. I was impressed of the way they tried to accomplish all my requests. I had quite a lot those days. I was also impressed by the Manager's idea of sending me a signed bday card on my bday ()shows care to the customer.2. The view and the balcony from the Executive Sea View Suite Apartment are breathtaking. 1. It is an old hotel, not refurbished since probably its 70-80'S.2. The elevators are poor and the cards allowing to go to the vip floors are a pain in the arse.3 Way too expensive for the comfort that it offers!!!It does not worth the money I paid! I would give to my apartment a 3 stars rank, not a 5.
Breakfast was good. Eggs could use some more cooking but they weren't real anyway. All in all it was cheap and if your looking to go to the beach you can't beat the location. Also it is located near some great food options and the staff know the good spots to go.
The staff was very helpful. Bed, linen, pillows and shower - fantastic. Size of room bigger than most. Breakfast the same as all Israeli hotels. Great location - across from the Gordon Pool and promenade, located two doors from Ben Gurion Street.
no shuttle service to airport
Dated hotel but well run with pleasant rooms. Food at breakfast was average and in the kosher poolside bar the food is terrible. We had lunch there, a burger and chicken salad, this was by far the worst meal I had in 10 days at Tel Aviv
We had a wonderful time and could not fault the hotel ,we will go back at some time we did book apoolside room however when we arrived there was not one available?
Great staff. Super nice people. The hotel itself...meh..definitely definitely not five star, perhaps not even four. Tiny room and bed so small I could barely fit. Noise from hallway came into room. I'd say it's a good four star. The bed was tiny, barely fit one person.
Great location across from the beach and good facilities within the hotel. The hotel was overpriced (over $400 per night) due to season and local events. Renovations to pool area ongoing during stay which we were not alerted to before booking and which affected enjoyment of pool and adjacent lobby areas.
nice pool, good area, nice breakfast besides the fact that on your site is written VAT is not applicable the hotel tried their luck to charge us vat. only after proving we are not israeli citizens did they agree to remove the charge.
helpful staff. .good facilities. excellent food. great position club lounge was a little disappointing when compaterd to similat facility at the dan panaroma hotel
Location Rooms were too small for the price. Daily restocking of towels and accessories to include complimentary water was hit and miss.
the view of the streets
SPA and especially massages are very good( good specialists), general service and room , comfort and good situation on the sea side. Food was not at the usual Sheraton standard level...( choice of fresh fruits is poor and fresh juices are not available each day..) Cafe machine did not work properly.. etc.;
The very convenient location. Its position on the Beach where all the life of Tel Aviv was.
Staff very helpful and accomodating, especially late checkout. I was upgraded to lounge floor. Sea view from room.
This is my favorite hotel in all of Israel. It's wonderful to be recognized, as well. Great, great hotel!
beautiful hotel nice location beautiful view
Nicely located, Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel has everything needed to go for a business trip or vacation. Bar at the reception closes after midnight
Beautiful hotel, esthetic, pleasant staff, excellent location especially for nightly walks in Tel Aviv, great breakfast at the "Benedict" included You don't really see much of the other guests, as there are no dining rooms in the hotel.
Friendliness of staff
location, great room, good price long time for check in or out - (1/2 hour each time)
the staff could not do enough to help with any thing we asked of them, very polite. we would stay there again enjoyed our stay very much. no complaints at all
Great rooms, large AND clean. Kitchenet included in the room. Interesting art work especially if you appreciate minimalist art. The hotel was just renovated so there is a newness to the decor. Centrally located in town near all major roads. The hotel does have indoor parking but reserve ahead. no complaints at all
Not then ample room in the suite clthes storage outside of bedroom
The well-appointed, clean accomodations, rather larger than the ones usually found in boutique hotels - much dedicated young staff, specially the very smiling, hi-touch Manager - this urban location spot can lead to become an ideal alternative from the sea-side uncharming hotel chains Choosing Breakfast outside of the hotel with vouchers was at first appreciated, but was discontinued during extended stay.
- The staff is fantastic. - The location is excellent. - The rooms are extremely comfortable, pleasant, spacious, modern but not stark. Lovely views from the rooms. Art from local artists throughout the hotel. - The wifi worked very well.
Cunning and furtive personal.gey photos povsyudu.gryaz and idle Internet.
The front desk staff was amazing - each one more warm and helpful than the next. They upgraded our room because there was a vacant suite, they gave us a bottle of cava on our last night, and were just a pleasure to speak to and gave great recommendations for dining in the area.
Good hotel. Very friendly staff. Good choice.
My greater Mind lead Me to making an excellent selection. The apartments view.
I LOVED this hotel! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating - they made sure I was settled and attended to my every need. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with really cool design in the rooms - I wish my apartment looked like this! The location was also ideal, especially if you like walking around - it is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Jaffa port and a less than 10 minute walk from the shuk.
Excellent breakfast, responsive dining room staff Very rude waitress in lobby bar/lounge and very rude desk clerk at the reception desk. Very plain accomodations
The breakfast was very good. Reception staff charging us in full and in advance on our arrival for our one week stay. Carpets in our room not clean / hoovered when we arrived. Tired, worn decor of the room. Renovations being carried out caused noise and dust especially in pool area and reception areas. we were not pre-warned of renovation work
Very good location directly at the Mediterranian Sea in the South of Tel Aviv; good connection to Highways, Airport. Excellent Breakfast buffet. Big size; rather unpersonal.
i can't say that something like very much. it could be more cleanliness
Location was good for City and Jaffa Temporary reception due to buiding works which resulted in delays in service. Building works also precluded use of reception lobby bar area
Good location, excellent breakfast, attentive service Both you and hotel web site should have advertised that hotel was under construction. When we arrived they did not have our reservation but did honor it -- only initially guaranteed the first night (staying 1 week). Subsequently the hotel proceeded to hound me until I returned to the front desk with my cc to guarantee the rest of the stay -- phone message, letter under my door, 2 phone calls 10 minutes apart. The reason I hadn't responded is that we had been out of town for the day.
the hotel is very comfortable and the staff is very pleasant
The bed was very comfortable and the proximity to the sea and Jaffa was a big advantage. The shower was lovely but it was not easy to clamber in and out of the bath even for me and I am a young 54. The Carmel lounge was a great facility to have. Some of the staff were surly and did not go out of their way to help. as an example, I arrived, on my own and stood for ages at the housekeeper's desk and, due to a temporary reception being in place as the main reception area was being refurbished, none of the staff came over to ask if they could help or to point out that in fact I needed to go to the other desk to book in even though not that busy. Also, they had no record of my booking and luckily I had a copy of the booking form with the reference number etc. They booked me in for one night until they could talk to the booking agent the following day to sort things out. The same happened to some friends who were also staying at the hotel and arrived the following day. Not a good start.
The breakfast is excellent Mirror in bathroom not for small person and bedroom could do with stronger lighting
Hotel is a bit out of town central area. Returning after 5 years the hotel looks a bit old fashioned in need of refurbishment
Hotel is brand new. Trendy place. Almost everything in the place is black. Very well done though. Nice bathrooms & showers. Some pretty good restaurants within a block either way. Highly recommend Giraffe. I was hoping for something close to the airport so the location was not really what I wanted, but it was the only thing left. I am glad though because it really is a pretty neat place.
The service was great , they try to make your stay really comfortable
prachtig hotel, mooie afwerking, zalige bedden. little things: no tissue papers in the rooms. During 3 days the same marmelade. There was only 1 kind of marmelade and nobody did the effort to get some different one knowing we didn't like orange marmelade and although we stayed for 3 nights.
the staff and the modern deco
Vertually new, beautifuly designed boutique hotel in the outskirts of Tel Aviv, convenient to exelent Asuta Medical Center and surounded by new hi-tech area. Staff is mostly young, but very accomodating and polite. Exelent breakfast, served both in the dining room and very well equiped big bussiness lounge.
The Business Launge Rooms was not very clean.. They also provided me with a smoking room which I asked for a non smoking room.. Also you have smoking rooms between non smoking rooms which is not acceptable as the smell goes through the rooms...
The cleaniless of the room, the breakfast buffet is excellent day of departure, requested a taxi to airport - I was put in a van which is used to transport vegetables !!! I would like to know the name of the person who booked this "taxi" I had to pay the full price 190.00
The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The location was excellent. We had a slight problem with the booking and were compensated by the PR staff very agreeably. Quite expensive.
The hotel was nice with a great rooftop pool and 360degree views of the city and beach. Hotel is in a great location on the beach and a very good breakfast resturant The hotel is just 5star, very nice but not with the extra trimmings you'd expct from the 5star hotel in other parts of the world.
Close to beach,friendly
Elegant and luxurious with impeccable service. Highly recommended. The breakfast was the best we had in Israel. Can't think of a thing.
We were upgraded on arrival to an executive room and it was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was overlooking the beach and very plentiful .......very Israeli! No complaints at all.
The view to the sea, the sound of the sea. You cannot stay naked in the sauna, as it is a small, mix one.
I loved the pool on the roof. It gave us a feeling on the beach without the noise. Parking lot adjacent was not clean
some recent renovations made the hotel's entrance, lobby and second floor look much better, but still far from luxury. The pool at the roof is really nice, though small. Food is the best experience in the hotel but we have eaten only breakfast. Views from some rooms (south) have a horrible view on the back of the next hotel (Marina) which is really for no one's eyes. Room's carpets need to be renovated. Carlton's Beach area (though it is not the real beach access - it is on the rocks and you cannot go to the sea from there) needs to be renovated.
swimming pool noisy
amazing all good
Sharon Kol, the PR manager, is a wonderful employee and was very helpful. The pool is great. Some of the staff can be rude and patronizing.
the recent remodel is nicely done. The dining hall is lovely and the food is good. Rooftop pool is nice, but small. They did not have the room I reserved through Booking.com. I reserved a seaview room but actually only had a city view room available. Also, there was poor communication between reception and the rest of hotel staff - I had to call several times to get a robe that was supposed to be in the room. And had to talk to several people about reserving a Shabbat meal- reception staff was really not helpful.
Good location, the staff was friendly, always ready to help, the room was clean and comfortable.
Location....Suites very nice hallways and elevators not very clean......run down. Pool & gym old, run down equipment, not clean. No doorman, just security. Very overpriced.
The hotel is very old and it is reflected in the room furniture and common areas. Sadly, it smelled like cigarettes and the walls were thin.
