Easy going atmosphere, wonderful facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great views from our room.
Very good location Well equipped modern hotel Good and various amenities Nice breakfast buffet No rooms with connecting doors for families with more than 3 persons
View on lake and swimming pool Hardly a 3 stars. Poor mattress, no internet in room, no heating adjustment (had to keep window open all night long by -10c outside!!!), no toiletteries (in a $150 room!), etc. Ramada too often disappoint.
nice, clean room with a view
The hotel is very clean and the facilities well maintained. The restaurant staff is not fluent in foreign languages and has a poor idea of timing.
Excellent food served from the bar and good friendly service from staff
Location is pleasant. The room is outfitted with cheap, communist style, old and uncomfortable furniture. The bed is less than two feet off the floor and is uncomfortable. Upon arrival our room was extremely hot, window would not open only three inches, no fan available. Next day we signed declaration to allow maintenance folks adjust the window and it could be opened fully. Staff is young, inexperienced and not geared towards customer service. We were not greated upon arrrival. This hotel is clearely not the quality one would expect from a Ramada.
The location of the hotel and the panorama. Is not possible to open the windows, reason to many birds. The A.C. was only a fan and noisy. Not possible to adjust the room temperature. (At list during my stay).
it is a very nice hotel and a good place to relax.
the room tempture must have been 40 degrese on saturday night
I had a feeling of old Sovjet Union. Cold preferably be branded as this. Corridiors and stairs were extremely bad cleaned. Not a 3* hotell
i liked, that the hotel has a very nice beach, and my room had a nice sea-view. My couple, and me could sleep without disturbing things he time, until we have had to leave our room, was so early (10 am).
Very good location, the hotel has a private beach, a swimming pool for children and many places to sit and relax. The room was clean and breakfast was ok. A very good place to go only to relax and sleep. There was a funny smell in the rooms, probably from the pesticide they used to keep the mosquitos away; the smell didn't come off not even during an entire night with the balcony door open. The hotel was old, but well kept, however, no important modern changes were made.
There was an English speaking staff for check in. Beautiful lakeside location and for the price the room was very good. This place is a dorm for students as well, that is not a bad thing but the wifi was impossible to configure and the instructions were invalid for windows 7. After I checked in the English speaking owner left.
It is just by the Balaton, so easy access to swimming, the area is silent. It was hard to connect to the free internet, not possible with Ipod/Iphone, the bathroom was old-style, small bathtub.
I loved the fact that it was so close to the castle district, but in a quiet part of town. The building was beautiful. The staff did a great job and the food was wonderful. There was no air conditioning.
Very friendly reception. Cleanless and fonctionality.
Good placement to visit Vézsprem old city.
Friendly staff, great location, spatious rooms.
Great location, historic building, well renovated, nice, quite room. Poor breakfast
The was a lovely hotel the staff were very friendly and the service excellent. The dinner was superb. The hotel is to be congratuated on how they have renovated this building There was nothing we found negative in our experience
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave a good impression and we felt warmly welcomed to the hotel. The location is great for sightseeing in the quaint little town of Veszprem, although a bit too distant from the railway station, which is where most people arrive if they don't come by car. The food was good and service in the restaurant professional. We were hoping for a double room but could only get a twin room with fixed beds. I read in someone's review that the hotel has two proper double rooms with queen sized beds, and if you're on your honeymoon it's better to call and check if they're available. The hotel charged a slightly different price for the room (in Hungarian Forint) than what was quoted at Booking.com "because of the changing Euro rate". I can live with paying 30 cent extra but it gives a bad impression to raise the price from one day to the next.
All was ok. Near old city places. Very nice hotel.
this hotel is very cozy and clean. nice terrace and very good breakfast. staff is uitstanding friendly. An air conditon is not luxurius when 30°C outside, but there was a ventilator in the room.
Location next to the castle and old city. The majority off staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was okay the first day but went down hill form there. Our room heating was on constant which made it very unplesant. We had an attic room so we could not see out of the windows.
