Being right above a tube stop and short walk to Hyde park, shops; staff incredibly helpful; room very clean, large, comfortable
Great central location but away from main shopping streets. Amazing views from upper floors. On -site parking.
We had a lovely night's sleep on a very comfortable bed.
Compared to the bedroom, the bathroom was under par. The bath water took ages to drain! On the plus side, the hotel sent up an engineer within minutes to fix the sink plug which we pushed in too deep.
Good location. For breakfast, go across the road from the main entrance, to a small cafe on your left (opposite Spice of India) - great breads, cheeses, croissants. Spice of India is a nice place for dinner, too, and if you walk a bit further on, you get to a great pub - Victoria - that has some of the best food, too.
Noise levels; size of rooms; poor heating/water pressure.
It was a business trip, and I know London well so not very relevent to me, though I like the proximity to the Park of this hotel and also to Paddington Station.
Pleasant, friendly staff -reception. First impressions on entering revolving doors was good
The noise from the doors slamming shut at 4am - slow closing facility on each room would stop this.
Efficient service and courteous staff
As standard rooms do not have bidet, I requested for Executive room, the charge is 70.00 Pound additional with no added value except a slightly larger room which is not justified. They should include breakfast at least.
General atmosphere and impression of quality.
Bathroom decor outdated.
Access to city
External appreance, cost for use of their car park.
