The Marylebone Hotel, at 47 Welbeck Street in central London's Marylebone Village, combines a boutique, neighborhood hotel experience with zany decor and great amenities. Guests will enjoy a bold, offbeat design of the spacious yet intimate lobby and the plush, red drawing room. The 256 guest rooms, however, are light and airy, with Paris-influenced furnishings and Italian marble bathrooms. A rotating display of contemporary art from local galleries adorns the walls. And the hotel's seventh floor penthouse suites offer rooftop terraces and stunning London views.
The Marylebone Hotel keeps business and leisure travelers connected with free Wi-Fi and complimentary newspapers. The hotel's 108 Bar & Grill, a popular neighborhood destination, serves traditional afternoon tea and full service, locally-sourced seasonal British seasonal cuisine, including gluten-free and dairy-free options. The in-house health club, the Third Space, offers a spa, gym, and 16-meter indoor pool. Even better, health-minded guests will enjoy daily exercise classes like Pilates. The hotel also has several meeting spaces and guests can plan a range of private events in the Red Drawing Room.
A Fascinating Neighborhood
The Marylebone Hotel is in the heart of Marylebone Village, notable for its concentration of small, appealing boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Slightly farther afield are Regent's Park and buzzy Oxford and Bond Streets. Close to four Underground stations, the hotel is an easy perch from which to explore London.
Stuff was very kind and helpful, the location was good
The room was small. not enough space for luggage A little bit expensive
The bathroom was really luxurious and spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and organized. The hotel seems like a boutique but is actually spacious and large
Nothing! I will be staying here again!
The location was excellent, 5 minutes from Oxford Street. The staff were polite and professional and wanted to help any way they can. Clean rooms and excellent total score No doubt I'll be back to the hotel following my visits to London
Clean, modern design and very nicely furnished room
Front desk understaffed so can be hard to get anyone to solve a problem (eg our heating was too high and phone just rang and rang at 2am when I called for help). Didn't get much sleep that night.
Quality of service and location
Firstly, the room we initially had, 553, was very small and cold. The first night the heater rattled constantly and wasn't functioning. The following morning, we contacted the Guest Relations manager, Barbara. She first sent up a maintenance man, who checked it and said 'That's as good as it gets. He was not understanding of the situation, but Barbara knew the heater was faulty and changed us to room 342. This room was much brighter. However, it was tiny, and we couldn't have breakfast in the room , as there was only one table, with no room for a 2nd tray. The very attentive waiter told me the hotel has no room service trolleys. Shameful. When we paid our bill, the receptionist took £150 off the total bill.. A very poor experience all round
It was very comfortable, good bed, very good breakfast buffet and friendly staff.
I would have preferred a bath tub instead of a shower :)
The room was comfortable, the hotel facilities were good,in all we liked everything about the place
Beautifully decorated room, amazing fitness facility, lovely staff
The pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was spot on. The bar was very modern with a relaxed atmosphere serving all the usual drinks and good range of cocktails. Breakfast was top, but did cost almost £20. Perfect location for a weekend in London with most places we visited being within 20 minutes whether by tube, foot or rikshaw.
The rooms, depite being very modern and well presented, are a bit on the small side. Also, a cup of tea cost £9!!!
We loved the fact that the staff wanted to please and were interested in our stay, it made it an even more memorable experience.
Friendly staff. Warm face towels on arrival at receiption was a nice touch. Modern, clean, everything in working order.
