nice rooms, clean pool, staff is excellent
there were very obviously prostitutes hanging around inside the hotel at night and this was not discreet at all
staff location facilities room and bathroom too small 2 coffee and a water gbp16
Excellent breakfast in our room. Air con in the bar - we were freezing at 8pm on Sunday.
Service minded hotel staff , devotedness of the concierge staff helping and organizing theater, journeys etc
friendly faces during peak season the hotel should have more than one choice to experience the after noon treat
spacious room and amenities in room slow service in the Chinoiserie and staff not paying attention to room, must wait to catch their attention
Our stay at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower was truely amazing, the service is excellent, we were upgraded on arrival due to a request I had made, as it was my husband's birthday. The atmosphere is great the staff cannot do enough for you. The treatments were brilliant. Can't wait for our next trip.
location only room was smoky on non smoking flooor
The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were really nicely fitted out with unexpected amenities like Bose iPod speakers.Great position for most of Londons attractions. Nice touches like coffee and croissants available in reception for early check out guests. Room service and housekeeping were particularly quick with their assistance and the prter conciege people seemd to genuinely want to help. Overall a really nice place to stay. The restaurant facilities are very poor indeed. The casual restaurant is right in the reception and was blighted by a freezing cold blast of wind every time the main door opened ( which was many times ). It also looked more like a reception than a place to eat - a place to drink coffee or wait for someone rather than a place to eat, even casually. The menu offered high quality food but the range was very limited, especially for vegetarians. In fact vegetarians in general are very poorly served by this hotel.
The room was very clean and spacious. The doormen were friendly and helpful. I had flowers delivered to me at the hotel and these were turned away at reception with the reason being that I wasn't staying at the hotel which was incorrect. I left my key and a note at reception for my son to collect and leave his luggage in my room, reception said that I had not done this and did not have a key for him. During my 12 nights there a card was sent to me which I never received.
I liked the small size (no convention) and the personal attention. The rooms are really small although I recognize that this comment could be made about many London hotels.
The hotel is very confortable, the staff is friendly; the breakfast is exellent; the rooms are beautiful no
Great location -a short walk to Harrods,V&A, and super little patisseries, restaurants and shops. Room had spacious bathroom with the lovely Penhaligon products.
the comfort, service and the little gadgets that felt like your in your own house. Too many furniture in the bedroom that made the room small
Egerton House is the best hotel I have stayed in over a 25 year period of visiting London. The staf couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful and my room (a standard double, I believe) was lovely and comfortable.
well I loved the place and the staff specially, they even went with me to show the room and they kept asking of I need anything to insure my comfort. it was great! the rooms are a bit small, and i see it a bit expensive but this is London after all.
I liked the decor and the products in the room and how clean and nicely refurbished the hotel is. I thought the rooms are a bit small for the price
Excellent personal service, great food - quite simply a great hotel. You would be very hard pushed to find anything even slightly wrong with this hotel !
Great Hotel and very friendly Staff - Great Job.
Amazing customer service and very clean, beautiful rooms. No
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
great locationclean, recently remodeled room was way too stark and small.Nobu restaurant in the hotel was only adequate, but gave my fiance food poisoning !At home we have a Japanese restaurant that charges $24 for a full Japanes buffet, that was just as good as Nobu's sushi and sashimi !
Peaceful atmosphere Welcoming friendly Bright minimalistic but warm and elegant Would have liked breakfast to have been included No
Location was great and staff is very friendly no
Staff and cleaniness
The staff and facilities are lovely. I would recommend a truly comfortable chair in the room. That was definitely missing. you can really only comfortably watch tv from the bed.
Room was beautiful. Panel by the side of the bed controls the entire room - lights, curtains, temperature.
Their room was larger than most, the location was fantastic and central to London and the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. A great option in the 5 star arena. Nothing...
Great location, great hotel, awesome service! Nope ... Awesome hotel
The service was excellent, the room was a good size and the food at the Citrus restuarant was lovely There were limited facilities in the room including bad reception on the old tv, it smelled of smoke despite asking for a non smoking room. The hotel was not aware of my booking when I arrived- which may this sites fault or on the hotel end.
Location, neat room A bit outdated, no free internet access (should be included in price)
Excellant service & friendly staff In places the rooms the room was in need of a redec.
convenience to Mayfair
the localization of the hotel is very good. to clean the rooms the staff used to make a lot of noise.
convenience to top tourist sights and underground stations
It has to be renovated
the location the staff and the bar area. the bathrooms were a disgrace, cracked tiles, old fashioned, didnt feel clean and certainly not up to the standard of a 3 star hotel let alone a 5 star.the whole living quarters of the hotel need a referbishment.
Great location Looks like a five star hotel from the outside but has the rooms and facilities of a regular Sheraton...
the bed was good yes if you want to stay in a 5 star hotel I would not recommend this hotel the room is to pour and everything is to old
Location is good but cannot be a reason for staying in this terrible hotel. Worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed. Non renovated rooms can even not be rated 1 star. They should not be sold. It is a shame for Sheraton and Starwood to have such a bad hotel in the chain. Staff is trying to do its best but management is non existent. Hotel manager must be fired...
The staff very kind and prepared. The new wing very confortable The only thing I didn't appreciate was that even if the hotel was generally very quiet the room door wasn't enough insulated and you can hear other room doors closing
Perfect hotel. Highly recommend.
The service was excellent, the reception staff were excellent and in one particular case - superb! The fine dining was 1st class. The fact that we could only afford to stay one night and I didn't get to enjoy the spa!
Amazing level of service, sheer luxury and comfort, quiet and centrally situated, excellent breakfast, nothing is a problem. asked about computer to check in for flight and was provided with a laptop and printer in my room at no cost for the first 2.5 hours.
bedroom, bathroom, service, facilities lack of enlargement mirror, lack of light
Its location and coziness. Small rooms
Very nicely decorated Problems with WiFi connection and inexperienced staff
Stayed only for one day instead of three. The room was too small and the hotel overvalued.
location excellent however very dark and strange hotel sound proofing between rooms non existent too dark for my liking
The location is perfect and discreet. The price is reasonable with VAT and breakfast included, its difficult to find this standard in a good location in London. The hotel rooms are quaint and clean. It feels like coming home to a quiet space. Breakfast could be more varied especially if your stay is a long one. The staff are friendly but could be a bit more dynamic. Carpets need to be cleaned.
Friendly staff. a good location for exploring Central London. Decor was very tired and worn. Only one lift (small). Breakfast was ok but tables were not always fully supplied (condiments missing etc.), and rather slow and overpriced for what it was. No tea making facilities in the room.
The boiler was not working for two days in a row. Its summer time, meaning that it is bearable if you fancy a cold shower !!!!
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, great design and ambience.
location a bit dark and a small room
Location is amazing. Off the bustling path. Coffee could have been better!
Quiet and quite small Lousy Breakfast buffet
Location, near tube station and yet accessable to Westminister, Buckingham Palace, London Eye and other tourist sights on foot.Room was comfortable and spacious. Bathroom could do with updating. No complaints
Nice and quiet, relaxed atmosphere Room very warn dispite air conditioning
Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasantly surprised by size of room
Hotel was serene and quite, received an upgrade to junior suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. No hotel shuttle is available tom transport guests to Victoria station.
Central location, impressive lobby, excellent choice of breakfast items Room was small in size and the bathroom was impossible to navigate if there was more than one of you or if bigger than a size 18! It mcant have measured more than 1.5m x 1.5m and was only really handy if you needed to use the toilet and sink at the same time. The room 681 was miles away from the lifts and instead you had to cross the courtyard whenever you wanted to leave the hotel or go to reception - not ideal when it's raining.
Our room had a balcony overlooking the impressive courtyard and was well equipped and prepared. Check in and out was effortless and staff were friendly and well informed.
Hotel staff was very friendly , checking in and out was very easy
This hotel offers a welcome change from the big American chain hotels. Although it is part of an Indian chain, it has managed to preserve an old world charm. The Christmas tree in the lobby along with all the comfy couches and the Elle lovely courtyard made it feel very cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms could be a bit bigger but this seems to be a common problem with London hotels in general.
Sasha the bartender was great as were all the other staff that we met. Everyone was extremely friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.
we'll be back- fantaastic position- best London hotel we have stayed in. being asked to pay for internet access
They ask me to pay for internet acces, but the problem was solved.
nice hotel the staff are excelent the room is small but very nice but
Free internet access The room are far too small not even for 1 person with two large suitcases.
Excellent location, great design, very good service.
good location место хорошее, завтраки дорогие! be careful with your credit cards! Once at nigth the menager was trying to charge our card, diferent amount, without our permition! So at nigth we had to go down and find out whats going on? who is plaing with the card ( we have a sms from the banck) so he told us, that he is chaking if we have enogth money! crazy! Будте внимательны с картой, у нас ресепсионист в ночи пытался снять деньги, причем разные суммы, а так как карта требует кода у него не получилось! но нервы потрепали! заблокировали болше чем надо и пытались снять без нашего разрешения!как так не понятно!
The relaxing but professional atmosphere. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well designed. There wasn't anything we did not like during our stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We immediately felt at home. The room was very comfortable (especially the bed).
location, breakfast, room (small but okay)
The position, just behind the Ritz Hotel, makes all the West End area accessible at walking distance. One issue: the hotel asked 6 authorisations to my credit card, for a total amount in excess of the finally due one. These were not real payments, but eroded plafond available for me. If the plafond were low, I would be left without money available on the credit card. I asked the hotel management about the 6 authorizations and why in excess, receiving confused or no explanations. Whatsmore, this behaviour was not anticipated in any part of their website or documentation. In the end I could not even pay with a different credit card. Fortunately they charged the correct amount. The room was not as comfortable as one could expect from a 5 star "just refurbished" hotel in a "superior room": 1) the room door was very thin, not enough isolating from the noise outside: voices and housekeeping work woke us up more than once. 2) the window glass was not a modern isolating one, but rather a single layer one. As it was a freezing season, the room itself was not properly isolated from the cold outside. 3) the bathroom was fitted with an undersized electric heating appliance. As a result the temperature was every time some degrees less then in the bedroom, pretty nasty in the morning.
The location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance from major attractions, Green Park tube station and bus station. Everything in the hotel room including bed and bad were too large and tall, especially for a short person like me. Would probably be perfect for a person 6 feet tall!
Service was excellent, concierge and reception very helpful, great breakfast. Rooms a little small but beds enormous and sooooo comfy! Be back soon! Lack of kettle in room was the only small negative.
Location of hotel was fairly near the tube station and other faciltites nearby When I checked inot the hotel, I had to wait a long time whilst they were checking my booking.I Needed an extra bed and they offered to upgrade me to a family suite afor another 103.50pounds. They then charged me 724.50 for the 3 nights stay.I Realised later that they had overcharged me by 10 pounds because the original booking was 611 pounds. When I queried them the next day,I had to go through 2 other staff before they refunded me 10 pounds overcharge. I hope I have not been billed twice ie once by my initial booking through your website and then by the Grange Holborn hotel.
The staff were absolutely first class from the moment we walked through the door from the booking in people at reception, the bar staff and chambermaids.excellent No complaints
Good quality fitments Small room
Helpful and friendly staff.
The room was a good size, nicely decorated, clean. Facilites included TV, stereo, air conditioning which is very important. Bathroom clean with nice toiletries.
Staff were very friendly and prompt Room was noisy being on the main road at a junction. I think if two people had been in the room there would have been a lack of space around the bed area as it was a funny shaped room.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very small but that didn't really bother us. Despite the double glazing and being on the ninth floor, we heard the noise of the traffic all night.
Staff was very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is big, facilities are clean. The room was not big but sufficient for a familly with 2 kids. The bathroom was clean, with a bathtube but the w.c. inside. The breakfast was delicious, but a bit expensive. A pity that the swimming pool has restricted hours for kids when you have kids but it must be appreciated for those who have not.
Good location Small rooms with tiny bathrooms - adequate for a single traveler on business with no luggage but not a Five star hotel and nothing like the pictures on the website.
The staff are extremely helpful and location is excellent. The television selection is poor and internet costs far too much.
Butler service I've enjoyed so much. Takes lot of stress for packing. Complimentary fresh fruit, water, Internet. First day at the restaurant during tea time staff was not very professional, when they' ve seen that we were hotel guests they've improved. In the room 404 (I've stayed) you can hear elevator moving.
Location was very central and convenient. The hotel was an hospital in the past and was redone very nicely. We were very comfartable and thought although expensive they deserved every penny.
The arrival was greeted by very friendly doormen , who took care of my car and luggage promptly . The reception and check-in , which happened in our suite was very civilised and polite . The butler was great , he really made our stay special , he was friendly , efficient and could not do enough for us . Whilst the suite was spacious and very well furnished , the shower lacked any punch at all , if I was being really fussy , the furniture was a bit old and worn , but this did not detract from the over all experience which was most memorable. Thankyou
every member of staff i had contact with exceeded my expectations. service was prompt and very professional as should be expected. none
Very sophisticated and friendly experience. As a guest you are made to feel that your needs and comfort are top priority by quality surroundings and attentive staff.
Very helpful staff, Great location, Clean rooms, very well looked after
The butler service is the best and truly a wonderful service. The SPA is a slice of heaven in the busy city of london.
Tranditional english room style, the spa studio was under my expectation, the food n drinks are ok. The laptop should have more than one media player
Great location with easy access to Victoria station, Kings road & Sloan Square. Fair sized rooms which were cleaned daily. Had breakfast 2 out of 4 days. The meal was nice but price a bit expensive. Very helpful staff and pretty quiet given that there are only eleven rooms.
Very courteous and helpful staff - thank you Fabien. This high quality hotel is very well furnished with high quality fixtures and fittings. I would it to anyone.
The above says it all. Nothing.
Quiet atmosphere. Water not hot enough.
I was a bit sceptical because I thought the price was a bit low for a five star hotel but the room was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a short break in London. There was a stain on the carpet - This was negligible though as everything else about the room was amazing.
The hotel is in a cracking area just 5 minutes from Victoria. The street is very quiet and the hotel was in a nice location. The hotel was very quiet (apart from the extract fan in the bathroom that sounded like a burst car engine at times)...Room was very comfortable, if a bit on the small side. Room was pretty small with no-where in the bathroom to put toiletries other than a little wire basket thing supplied. Also no real place to put your suitcase that then didn't interfere with any storage space for clothes. Also, surprisingly for a 5* hotel the staff never asked if we wanted any papers in the morning :(
the service was impecable. nothing was too much trouble. the rooms were also beautiful. i would choose this over a similarly priced large hotel every time.
We received a warm and friendly welcome which continued throughout the stay. The twin room we had was actually quite spacious unlike almost every other hotel I have stayed and was a positive improvement on having 2 beds squashed closely together with hardly any room around them.
Very close to Victoria station and good restaurants. Service staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice bathroom and very modern rooms. Quiet street. AC not too strong, which is typical in Europe.
Large comfortable room with good access to all transportation Bathroom very small and hotel air conditioning still was not installed. It may finally be completed by end June
