Good breakfast, nice ambience and good location. cannot find any problem..
We enjoyed our stay - very restful, clean and helpful - and convenient. difficult to find!
Cleanless and hospitality. Is closed to the city There is nothing to say, I'm using that hotel since 3 years and prefer .
The room was nice, selection of English Channels on the TV was a plus and the free internet, breakfast and parking were very important. The breakfast was OK but a little small in terms of the offering compared to other hotels.
Modern look, large parking, room view Breakfast, location
comfortable rooms and very good looking colours and design We did miss an english speaking channel
The hotel and room (110) were very beautifully renovated. The furniture and fittings in the room were top quality, and our room even had access to the terrace on the side of the hotel, with beautiful views. The restaurant was rather expensive. We had 3 "gourmet" beers, 1/2 liter each, which turned out to cost 18 Euro EACH! And bowls of barley soup were 10 Euro each. No prices on the menu we were given, we found out prices at checkout. Our fault for not asking...
great staff I wish the hotel would have a spa/sauna/exercise equipment
Wonderful ambience in a well renewed old villa.
Place (if u take a car) staff and room are good. Very frendly. Brecfast is not very good, just normal for Italy.
Hotel was near the centre of the town and had a restuarant nearby. The rfoom I had had the toilet in the same area as the shower so that the latter got soaked when I had a shower and this is not hygenic. The airconditioning did not work. The breakfast was poor.
AC didn't work, *very* hot at night. Nice gesture though that the owner cut the bill from €90 to €80.
great location, clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast starts quite late (7pm) for a town that is often used as a starting point for mountain sports. However, for hikers they provided (a very basic) "early breakfast", which is a nice service.
nicely situated in the citycenter, restaurant around the corner.
The staff were always helpful with recommendations for dinner and were bilingual in most cases so communications in German and English made it much easier to enjoy the stay.
Parachute world cup 2008 - 19° belluno Little parking place
I liked the location, cleanliness of the room and professionalism of the staff.
Central, friendly hotel. My room wasn't particularly cosy but it was smart and had a good view of the street outside. Breakfast typical of the type of hotel, nothing extra. Overall a good place to stay. Parking very limited at the hotel - you would have to have your car blocked in or blocking in others - but there is decent parking in the town nearby and the owners will show you on the map.
Mostly the location. room too cold and without possibility to increase the temperature.Good breakfast See above
convenient location minimal breakfast
Very central, close to Cortina (11 klm),amazing spa, brand new hotel,GREAT shower. If you can afford it book the suite..it has an amazing view at the mountain.Nice breakfast, value for money as it is cheap comparing the prices to book a hotel in Cortina, but close enough to go by car.Perfect choise! But be careful,if you need to put chains to the car,its not very close.. Nothing
Good ratio between what you pay and what you get in this area.
Staff were pleasant and hotel was modern and very clean. Breakfast was good Everything was good
Room was very well equiped and clean. Facilities very good and on site restaurant very good value. A bit noisy in the road side rooms.
The room was big and comfort I was quite disappoint of their beakfast
The staff were friendly and helpfull and the location was suitable for our needs in the area.
Excelent location and view! You can see there the real and fascinating italian life style. I'll be there againg without a doubt. Congratulations Hotel Belvedere!
we got a very bad room (that didn't look as an hotel room), and after a lot of discussion we finally received a standard room
Staff were friendly and parking good. The restaurant was closed so we ate at the local pizzeria which was excellent. Bit of an odd hotel with a maze of corridors and a lift that drove us all mad. Rooms were unheated but plenty of blankets available for the beds.
extremely friendly staff, very nice area; tiny old town and beautiful nature including lake, birthplace of famous painter Titian.
the staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable of the surrounding area. no.
Very good stopping point after drive through Dolomites.
It was a truly beautiful hotel with stunning views and a great location in the center of town. The man at the reception desk was unable to procure me a taxi to go to the train station, but more importantly, seemed absolutely perplexed by the request. He also didn't get around to trying until the final, last minute despite my advising him of my need the night before, and when he was unable to find one, just shrugged his shoulders. Everyone else in town was very accommodating however, as I ran around trying to fix the problem.
Friendliness of staff and readiness in responding to customer's requests NO
The room is very beautifull and the view from the balcony is great. The hotel is recently renovated and with nice furrniture. The breakfast is way under the conditions offered by the hotel.
When I tried to go out during the night I found the front door locked and nobody at reception.
Superb hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent staff. A good mix of contemporary and traditional architecture . I did not try the restaurant but feel sure it would have been good. I look forward to staying there again next year
Wonderful position: central but away from the main road with its many cars. Suitable for children (but no mini-club), beautiful view of the mountains. The spa-area, though enjoyable, could have been larger, and there is no outdoor swimming pool. Swimming pool a bit warmer (say, 32°-33°) would have benne appreciated. No towel-cloaks included.
Wonderful hotel, in a top location (in town centre in the middle of a pieceful park). The staff was very helpful and friendly. I tried the restaurant, which was excellent. The indoor pool and the spa facilities were lovely. I would definitely stay here again!
evrything was ok.
The location is filled with Natural beauty and the hotel service is outstanding in the sense of friendly and very welcoming. Best if you know Italian as English is scarce. My stay was too short!
The only complaint is that the restaurant was not open, as it was low season. Sometimes we felt it would be nice to have a place to dine, without having to leave the hotel. But this is a minor flaw, as there were very nice restaurants on the road to Cortina.
Staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Room was clean with the perfect view onto the lake.
Advertised (free) wireless internet was not working (computer at the hotel reception is the only option). I would suggest to make it working or else take text "Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge" away from "hotel facilities".
Excellent staff, good feeling in old nicely renovated hotel - around beautiful rocky mountains
Location We were the only guests! Therefore the bar and otyher facilities were closed!
it is set in a wonderfull area in direct contact with nature.
Very nice hotel. The location is wonderful. The staff is friendly. The room was a bit small but comfortable. The reception is closed early, so it's a bit difficult if you arrive late at night or if you have a request. In our case, the room service had forgotten to leave towels in our room so it was a very embarrassing situation after taking a shower that night... We called in the morning and we got our towels. The breakfast was a bit light.
It was all good, friendly staff, very helpful, lovely views from hotel room. No tea/coffee making facillities in room - a kettle with some basic tea/coffee would have been great. Longer dining times for dinner 7:30 - 8:30 is very short perhaps 6:30 to 8:30 Also a greater variety of food on offer especially for vegetarians/pescatarians. A menu with prices left in the hotel room would deffinitely attract more dinner guest to their restaurant - the 3 nights we ate in the restaurant there were only ourselves and 1 other party at the most. Instead of a church in the hotel, a spa, sauna, pool, games room etc would be better
Great hotel. Very calm. The breakfast was good. The employee speaks a little bit in english The room was too small.
The dining room downstairs provided a warm atmosphere and the food was very good and representative of the region. Room was very small. The bed was too firm with a very small shower facility.
Location is good. We left for dinner and we came back at 22h30. The door was locked. We ringed, we phoned, we banged on the door for more than 20 minute until finnally someone came and opened the door...
Nice view, nice restaurant (great food), simple and cozy English is an issue; also (among others) i was really angry when a lady (the owner?) asked me to leave the breakfast room as she would need the table - i finished breakfast and was with my laptop next to the window - and there were about 15 empty tables!...you see it is a family business with no professional training in the hotel business; if you are used to travel you would get annoyed.
location , view , breakfast good. restaurant food was poor, did not get what was ordered
Restaurant, breakfeast and dinner The bed was very bad. The matress was very old, with the shape of bery heavy the bodies marked on it, making almost an "hole". It was really terrible.
I liked the view of the hotel. They couldn't speak any language, except Italian !!!
Rate could have been a little bit lower as it was off season.
Good location to Cortina. In general the staff were welcoming and helpful. They were understanding when we cut our stay short by one night because of the weather. The bathroom had a hand held shower over the bath and no shower curtain. This was inconvenient. The barman was off hand and not very helpful.
The quiet room, quite apcious with nice view.Good coffee with breakfast, pleasant dining room.Public area decor old fashioned but attractive. Room decor very dull and quite depressing really.Could be much improved with a slight makeover.Didn't like the 'hard on the main road' location,
I like the old traditional wood beams & flooring and there was a beautiful view of the valley from the restaurant and from the rooms. The hotel location required a car to visit nearby towns.. restaurants, shops etc.. The first double room they gave us wasn't up to scratch but the staff were friendly and helpful and sorted the situation out without problems.
the perfect accomodation to visit the amazing Cortina..definitely recommended..
value no desk or chairs in room
Very friendly staff, food was great and location was good too.
Mount veiw, SPA SPA is outside of hotel building
Excellent service, good facility, clean and welcoming, great value for money.
The hotel's food, staff and food were fine. What was most interesting was the setting and history of the building and surrounding complex. It is a significant piece of modern Italian architecture and is fascinating to stay here for just that reason. It was built as a vacation complex for a large state owned Italian corporation complete with hotel, multiple villas, dormitories and even a large church, all of in striking contemporary architecture. The site is around ten miles from Cortina on a good highway taking only a few minutes. You are a little far from night life, but the trade off is you are in a beautiful forest and each room has a stunning view of the mountains with a balcony The only disappointment was that we had to pay for the use of the swimming pool during the period we were there and the cost was ridiculous around 20 dollars each for swimming. The municipal pool in Cortina is bigger and nicer and costs around a third of that. Apparently at some dates the pool is included in the cost of the room.
Interesting architecturally. Lovely view from bedroom. Peaceful. n/a
Small rooms, dated 50's interior and only elderly italians as guests. Wanting to go to the swiming pool (1 km downhill) required payment for towels (EUR 1.50 each) and bathing caps (EUR 3 each).
No internet connection available. You pay and did not work.
The right to use the spa facilities was included in the hotel price. There is a good selection of massage treatments and skilled staff. It was late in the season for snow, so we had to drive further north to do cross-country skiing, but it was all the more relaxing to return and spend the rest of the day at the spa.
