Pros: This property is amazing, well off the beaten track, but well worth visiting. Nothing was too much trouble for the hostess.
Cons: Leaving, did not want to leave
Pros: It was a beautiful location and the host was very friendly. We had a nice walk up to the Source du Lison which I would recommend to anyone with a spare hour. Breakfast was nice with some local touches and was round a table shared with other guests, so allowed for some conversation. Location was perfect for our trip from the Black forest to the French Alps and we will definitely stay here again.
Pros: We had a wonderful welcome to this old and beautiful house.
Cons: The private bathroom across the corridor.
Pros: The hotel is a beautiful stone house in a quiet rural location. It has a courtyard where you can sit in the sun and garden with shady trees. The bedrooms are bright and attractive. Each has it's own colour scheme and decor. We had a private bathroom along the corridor which was large with a good shower. We were given dressing gowns to wear when we walked from our room to the bathroom - a nice idea. The owners have restored the house beautifully with great attention to detail. There are lovely cosy sitting rooms which would be a great place to sit in the colder months. One sitting room has a huge fire place, which would be very inviting when lit and it is cold outside. The owners are delightful, welcoming, easy to chat with, full of all sorts of information. Breakfast was excellent, with different local produce to try each morning Good coffee, fruit, bread, really good home made confitures. Great people, a lovely area and a beautiful house.
Cons: Nothing - all good
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. It was in one word: perfect. The hostess is realy kind, the location is beautiful, the room was perfect. We had a warm welcome, perfect breakfast (almost everything home-made). It was all outstanding.
Pros: The breakfasts were wonderful and changed every day. The fireplace in the sitting room was delightful after a day in cold, rainy weather. There’s a friendly dog in the family.

Pros: New facilities. Quiteness during the night. Great location.

Pros: Excellent room. Location is o close to the GR5 Nice terrace even when it thunders
Cons: Nothing. The location that the google map link takes you to is a long way out. The actual location is next to the source of the Doub
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, modern and stylish decor, great breakfast with homemade cakes! Fantastic location for the GTJ and ski pistes. Highly recommend!
Cons: Restaurant was closed, this was in the small print but we missed it as we booked in a rush. However Damien the manager arranged for us to eat in one of the local restaurants in Mouthe and even offered to drive us there and pick us up after!
Pros: Great place to stay during the mountainbike GTJ. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.
With a stay at this cottage in Les Grangettes, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve and Plage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Quite simply, if we could award more than 10 out of 10 we would. Such an amazingly equipped chalet, almost as if the owners have thought about every single thing you might need and put it into their cosy chalet. A true home stay. We ran out of superlatives for how good it was!!!
Cons: Only wish we could have stayed more than one night - it REALLY was that good!!
With a stay at Hôtel Spa Les Rives Sauvages in Malbuisson, you'll be on a lake, within a 10-minute drive of Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve and Lac Saint-Point. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We were passing through for one evening to breakup a long drive, checked-in at 7pm and left at 5am the next morning, so cannot comment on the facilities as we did not use them (sadly, as they looked great). The reception staff was very welcoming, we were given a 2 bedroom apartment which was large, comfortable, modern and clean. The entire building looked brand new. It’s just off the main highway through Jura, so a great location for a stop off. All their restaurants were booked out for dinner (Saturday evening) but the reception staff gave us names of others in the village and we managed to get the last available table at a lovely bistro; in other words, book restaurants in advance.
Pros: new and clean hotel, spacious room with good kitchenette
Pros: Location bay the lake, view , helpfull staff , clean and comfortable
Cons: Nothing , every thing is perfect
Pros: the hotel seems new and everything is clean and tidy. Nice spa and pool.
Cons: Its a bit too stylish for me and had a less character. Since it was apartment we must clean up everything we used - 50 euros is you didn't. for only one night stay, it is a bit wast.....
Pros: Beautiful region, new building with great views over the lake in a calm area. We had a very calm time (weekdays in October), so we could enjoy the swimming pool and sauna. Our kids (< 7 y.old) are quite picky about the water temperature, but here it was OK (probably not for staying days 3 hours, but no problem with 1 hour or so). We had quite bad weather (5 degrees in the morning, rain and fog), so the heating was already on and was very efficient. Staff was nice and friendly, I would definitely recommend the place.
Cons: Perhaps it would be nice to have a more comfortable sofa or an additional armchair, and a bigger table in the living room but this is really a minor point and everything was great!
Pros: Nice kind of appart hotel. facilities were pretty new. Finishing of hotel facility ok. We like the staff but service is limited. Swimming pool is great. Stunning views. Small town in the Jura, so limited restaurant options. Lake walking as well.Great value for money in the Jura mountains.....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Cons: Very ordinary food in restaurant at supper and very overpriced
Pros: It was excellent.
Pros: Fantastic view from the balcony. excellent food, nice staff

Pros: Wonderful view and great food and service

Pros: Breakfast is simply great and totally worth the additional fee. The room was spacious for our family with a nice bath with abundant water. It looks a bit worn-out from the outside but is really nice and cosy inside.
With a stay at Hotel Les Tremplins in Chaux-Neuve, you'll be in the mountains, just steps from Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful, spotless, extremely friendly staff and incredible food. Arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome and a garage to store our bikes. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Pros: Clean rooms, delicious food, beautiful view
Cons: A little bit hot in the rooms, when the weather is warm (second floor).
Pros: Kingsize bed, brand new bathroom, very kind owner
Pros: Brand new, very clean and calm, restaurant on site, restaurant is excellent, friendly and kind host, spacious room, option of rooms with different configurations to accommodate different needs, gorgeous location
Cons: No shower door — it has pluses in terms of wheelchair access and for hygiene, but results in slippery floor
Pros: Hotel and staff very good. The hotel has just been refurbished so everything new. Our room was very good.
Cons: Location did not meet expectations lots of road works in progress. When complete should be much better.

Pros: This auberge is managed by a family . Very nice host and 2 lovely dogs . Clean rooms , good restaurant, and nice longes to rest and watch some TV. The highlight is the Horse riding walking in the countryside, very clam and fun. We totally recommend it .
Cons: Staying too short .
Pros: Extremely friendly hosts, we felt like visiting our grandmother in the countryside, enjoying a real hospitality. No problems with late check-in. Excellent regional food served in the restaurant. Good location, if you like a peaceful and quite places, feeling close to nature. Extraordinary possibility to take a horse riding.
Cons: Basic breakfast. No wifi access.
Pros: Friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely atmosphere, fantastic location
Pros: Nice view, friendly staff. In the right place for our journey. Food available on site.
Cons: I expect this would be a great place to stay as part of an adventure holiday. It felt a bit spartan and youth hostel like to us, but ok for a stopover. We ate there, as no choice, and the lack of options is a problem if you have any kind of special diet. Bread, cheese, ham and lettuce was the dinner, take it or leave it! I was grateful that they charged me less for not having the ham (as vegetarian.)

Pros: stayed here before, know it well, and the refurb a couple of years ago has lifted it - well done !
Pros: Comfortable room, excellent restaurant food and presentation superb great staff
Pros: Receptionist very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast self service and boring
Cons: Location and steps from carpark. Plastic/paper cups in room
Pros: The room was tidy and there was a great restaurant below, Le petit Blanc, was independent of the hotel and delightful.
Cons: The hotels web page describes it as a spa hotel, and two years ago it was. The natural thermal spa under the hotel, and our reason for using this hotel, is now unavailable. The room rate for a three star hotel in an unremarkable town is, in my view, excessive. The bar charges €7 for an under volume (due to head) beer and refused to make it up to the 50CL line. The reception shuts at 21;00 so don't be late !
Pros: Bed very comfortable, good breakfast
Cons: There should be a bat within hotel That's available to use all day
Pros: Enclosed parking space -great! The room wasn't big, but it was really nice and comfortable. I liked the well equipped bathroom with nice natural light. The restaurant is attractive and well worth your €. The receptionist mentioned it and she made a reservation. Very interesting when you arrive at the hotel early evening and you don't have to search for another good place to eat.
Cons: Compared to the silence of the Morvan, where I stayed the nights before, the Place des Alliés is quite busy until after mdinight. Don't worry: it's not Paris. But If you want to sleep early with the window open, you might want to use earplugs.

Cons: Very late check-in from 17:30!
Pros: A real find, close to the border and probably a lively little ski resort in winter. Pleasant to wander around - a nice little dog walk along the river - and a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening; there was a big range of options, from a little salad to a huge 3-course meal, and reasonably priced. Loved the swimming pool and sauna, after a long day driving up from Italy. Parking right outside.
Cons: Can't think of anything, really; maybe hot chocolate for breakfast, or a kettle in the room rather than the machine, but nothing stands out.
Pros: Very friendly staff !
Cons: Some of the rooms would benefit from a make over, eg door handle, hangers etc.
Pros: Amazing food, amenities and staff
Pros: Nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast and dinner.
Cons: Unreliable WiFi-connection.
Cons: We were asked to check out at 10:00 AM although we mentioned that a little later was convenient for us (this was Sunday!). No flexibility.
Pros: We decided at the last minute to visit the Jura, and we were surprised by the quality and reception received by this small hotel. Nice breakfast and location was perfect to explore this part of the Jura.
Located in Salins-les-Bains, Appart Hôtel Charles Sander is within a 15-minute drive of Arbois Musee de la Vigne et du Vin and Castle Pecault. Featured amenities include a business center and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location is great and the room was quiet except for one night when there was a festival in the park.
Cons: The room was under the roof and was incredibly hot. There was only one window, so no chance for a cross breeze. We asked for a fan, but they didn’t have one. This room should have a fan in the room as standard, or add AC like some of the other rooms had.
Cons: I’m not sure why it was necessary to pay extra for my dog.

Pros: - Very calm place near river, woods and meadows - Spacious well equipped apartment - Petanque and children playgrounds - Our stay was like on the castle (old building, furniture, ... but modern equipment) - Wonderful nature just few km away - our children really liked all the trips my wife organised for us
Cons: - Wi-fi connection available just outside reception - ideal to enjoy disconnected vacation - No shop/pub/civilization around (few km away is SupetU hypermarket - so no problem with a car)
Pros: Great breakfast, spacious room, and nice ambience

Pros: This is a lovely family run hotel in a beautiful part of the lake district. The dining room was well supported in the evening.
Cons: wet dogs in the dining room
Pros: Breakfast basic - average value. However, the Restaurant Meal was excellent. Very friendly/
Cons: More English Language
Pros: Clean beyond clean!!
Pros: Location is a perfect place to visit the Cascades
With a stay at Hôtel Le Bois Dormant in Champagnole, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Haut-Jura Regional Nature Reserve and 7 minutes from Villa Palladienne - Château de Syam. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Service amazing the staff were very polite and went beyond expectations to assist
Cons: The dinner menu and breakfast was overpriced
Pros: Good size free car park
Cons: Beer as expensive as Paris and short measures. All of the nice tables in the restaurant seemed to be reserved so maybe this is not the place for a one night stay. Unusual atmosphere.
Pros: Nice location in a quiet area. Good breakfast; not the usual coffee bread and jam.
Pros: We were travelling to Annecy for 2 nights early May. Got caught in unexpected heavy sleet and very cold weather (not good travelling on a motorcycle). Turned back (by now 6pm), found this (only hotel with room in the town/ resort). Last room available too. Really pleased how this worked out. Very clean and comfy.
Cons: No kettle in room. No plant based milk or yogurt for breakfast. I feel by now all hotels should be catering for those on a plant based diet with at least some options and clear labelling. Fruit plus bead and jam gets a little tiring after a while.
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: One can hear people in neighbouring rooms talking. The place was generally very noisy.
Pros: Fantastic pool and jacuzzi, lovely quiet location, comfortable rooms, really modern bathrooms.
Cons: Breakfast room had quite a few flies buzzing around. The room was lovely and airy with windows open, thus letting flies in. The room would benefit from some sort of fly control as they were a bit problematic.
