Hotel modern, room quite small but fine for one or two nights.Functional hotel for traveller.
Hotel has been renovated. Therefore the quality of the rooms are satisfactory compres to their prices.
It is a brand new design hotel, at the center of Charleville-Mezieres, friendly staff
Very new Hotel, very clean everywhere, functional room, good breakfast and very friendly staff carpark is not lockable, small room, expensive roomrate
Location excellent Good parking arrangement
The staff was efficient and very pleasant. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and beakfast satisfactory
the hotel has a good location, it is a budget hotel and is two star, it was just what we wanted, but one night was enough!
Central location, easy to find, free parking at weekend Small room, cramped bathroom, hair dryer not functional
location was good, breakfast good value, staff friendly. overall despite the niggly night noises very good value. room 148 was fine, tv lacked the wider variety of canal plus stations. somewhere nearby was a noisy fridge cutting in/out and un-identifiable night noises. free wi-fi would have been a bonus!
Very easy to find and close to the town center. Shower and toilet very cramped.
We had a wonderful, large, beautifully decorated en suite room and a wonderful dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The village is beautiful and full of character and even has some shops! The surrounding countryside is also beautiful. We had to wait for the hotel to open at 5pm
I think the hotel is very convenient to the station and the main town in Charleville. Hotel is basic but all you need and the people were very helpful. Facilities of hotel limited.
Position of the hotel near the historical center of Charleville-Meziers is its biggest advantage. Staff practically is not able to communicate in English at all. I do not understand why the hotel has 3 stars; the entire hotel is kind of musty with a strange smell everywhere; terrible pillows in the rooms...
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They did not have maps of the town when I asked, but they got them by the next day. It is very central and close to the SNCF station which is good, but is on a very busy square, so traffic is loud until about 8pm. But it is fairly quiet after that, and I was not disturbed in the early morning. If it was high summer, you might not be able to have your window open overnight though...
The hotel is purely for the traveller, basic, little report with staff, but nothing bad. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate with a McDonalds for a neighbour, you were always OK for a bite to eat or indulge in some air conditioning .
Grateful after a wedding to be let in at 2am. very quickly after ringing the bell.
the friendliness of the staff and the interesting decor nothing
the design we did hear sounds of the next door room
Hotel staff is very friendly. Unique and interesting design. Comfortable bed and nice TV screen. Easy parking just in front of the hotel. It takes a little time to get used to some of the room features. Somewhat pricey for the area.
Excellent breakfast; reasonably priced hotel Shower curtain missing from shower leading to unavoidable flooding of bathroom; any room checking process would have seen this problem
Staff helpful. Free underground parking. Hotel tired and a bit grubby. Room furniture very basic and carpet stained.
Rooms comfortable. Breakfast very good. Parking very secure. Hot water a little bit irratic.
Pleasant staff The room was good sized but bleak. The restaurant was closed. Why is this not made known at time of booking?
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well presented rooms. Coffee making facility. Within walking distance to hypermarket and food outlets. Air conditioning installed.
Well suited for location to our customers manufacturing facility
No English / American tv Channels No Mini-Bar
nice and uncomplicated, friendly staff, good restauration, nice shower, welcoming café and cookies in the rom Internet facilities, situated closer to the center of the town
Informality and good food
Everything necessary for a budget hotel and even though the decor was a little tired and dated, the room was spotlessly clean. Although polite the staff could have been a little more engaging and welcoming.
Although it was a lodge type hotel, the staff were friendly, although only one spoke English. The room was clean and the hotel affforded easy access to all routes. A good choice of hotel for site seeing in the area. The fact there was no bar either on site or in the immediate vacinity was a let down and therefore no place to meet or relax.
Typical Campanile establishment, most things ok. As at all(?) Campaniles, the prices of drinks (in particular) and dinner & breakfast are somewhat too high - but then, that's how they make their profits !
convenient location and predictable services and style to an acceptable standard as experienced for several years. It needs some re-vamping. outside woodwork needs atention. looking tatty.
There was nothing to like about this hotel. A very grubby and out of date hotel. We have stayed in many Campaniles over the years, but this really was awful.
Tea and coffee No internet
Helpful, friendly staff; good food in adjoining restaurant, especially the breakfasts - excellent; good parking; excellent shower; Lack of rug/carpet on floor; a very smokey smell in room - we would prefer non-smoking rooms; only one extra pillow; sitting facilities rather uncomfortable - armchairs would have been nice; only one sachet of coffee per person and biscuits only on arrival day - not the next day;
Good location only a few minutes from the city centre, shops and restaurants. Staff were delightful, wide selection at buffet breakfast, safe parking and great value.
Friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are tastefully decorated. City centre and scenic walks are within walking distance. No lift. With baby its a little difficult to get up and down the fairly narrow staircase. I always feel that a hotel that does not serve lunch or dinners should at least have a fridge in the room where a traveler can store some snacks.
clean and nice staff
We stayed one night at the hotel on our way through france. Hotel was fine. Our room was small but clean and bathroom and towels were spotless. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and good service from the staff. A basic hotel but fine for a few days stay. There is secure parking for a nominal price which we felt was good as the surrrounding area of the hotel did not appear to be the best and we had not stayed in this area before.. Short walk to the centre which had lots of places to eat. Would stay again if in that area.
Good position, vast garage, friendly staff Uncomfortable bed
Excellent breakfast and safe parking. Manageress did her best to help us No Elevator and we were on the top floor. Shower was too small and not really useable. Previous stay was at a 5* hotel which was cheaper
convenient for town centre, bedroom at rear of hotel so away from busy road, dining room very modern unlike rest of hotel situation on main road which was being resufaced so rather messy
We were on motorbike trip and had earlier got off ferry,i had pe booked room so was just a matter of finding it,it was in good location and off the beaten track. The receptionist was very helpful and let me keep bike in there garage overnight at no extra charge. Will go back again if we go same area again in future. Only slight problem that after meal we go for a walk but there was,nt anywhere we could go as main roads though not busy surround hotel and there are no footpaths, but again thats not really hotels fault.
Rooms were clean, is a good location convenient to old city centre by foot, & to train station & to major roads in/out of the town. The rooms fairly small, & the garage is huge but the entrance lane very narrow!
The Hotel had character, had excellent secure parking (extra cost) and a very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast The advertised Wi-Fi did not work.
Just a room when we needed it. No complaints. Friendly, helpful staff. Bunk beds weren't great for my 6'2" body but were still manageable.
Clean, smart modern rooms with 42" digital tv, free wi fi, and good size desk; comfortable beds; good breakfast; short walk to town centre. The hotel is on a main road, and rooms at the front are noisy. Nearby public parking is pay and display, free from 18:30 - 09:00 only. It took a few minutes to raise check-in staff on arrival. Some maintenance issues: broken towel rail in one room; loose toilet seat and cigarette burns in the other.
Good location, and very good value for money. I was upgraded to a bigger room and the breakfast is as good as you can except from a Hotel in this price range It was very warm in my room (in fact it was a very warm night in general)
The room was quiet and the twin beds were comfortable. The usual facilities were provided in the bathroom. It's only about a twenty minute walk to the Place Ducale. The room at the rear of the hotel was unattractive and rather small, and looked out onto a rather bleak yard. There is no parking provided by the hotel which means parking in the street and having to pay and, unless you are lucky, some distace away. I did not see any free parking areas. I have stayed in hotels that are cheaper and more attractive than this one.
close to the centre of town and train station. extra heating (oil column heater) breakfast room was bright and cheerful. tobacco smell in bedroom.
Clean room, windows with view, helpful staff
the restaurant next door was good
The simplicity and comfort and everything worked. My friends and I all agreed that for a no frills break, the hotel was excellent and we would certainly stay in a Premiere Classe again. Nothing really - except that as it was too far out of town to walk in for an evening meal we had to take the car, although the Campanile nearby was very good for meals.
On a motorbike trip, so attractions were location (near motorway) and budget driven Tiny bathroom (!)
Budget Accomodation with a budget price to reflect. Triple Rooms had little storage for kit / clothing. Shower was very small.
Ease of access. Price. nearby Campanile restaurant Receptionist did not knows how to operate machine to accept Cards. Had to pay cash. Fortunately I had cash.Noisy yoiung people at night.
it was perfect for the price....staff helpful and convienent for our travel purposes. not convienent to sightseeing areas. had to drive a bit to get to historic sights.
close to restaurants rooms had not been cleaned thoroughly
Good value for the cost if you don't mind "cheap and chearful" No evening meals;15% discount at nearby Campanile Restaurant, but not good value; very disappointing
friendly staff strong smell of disinfectant in room. heater didn't work
The Only Good Thing Was It Was Close To The Motorway !! The Room was Very Small and Smelt of Urine, I wouldn't stay there again ever !!!!!!
Owners very attentive. It is early days for a new business and it is clear that the hotel will continue to improve as more investment becomes possible. The restaurant is good for meals but breakfast needs significant improvement.Very pleasant little town. There is no lift so you need to be very fit to carry your luggage up narrow staircases. Perhaps staff should offer help to those who are a little more suprannuated?
Pleasent place to stay with a relaxed atmosphere.
Room was individual & charming. Proprietor was very friendly. Quite well positioned for walking by river or in woods. Food was disappointing - veg overcooked. The electric toilet system was very noisy.
Very friendly & good food Quite expensive drinks, but probably no worse than other hotels.
Location - river
Nice little hotel with good restaurant. Hotel staff was extremely kind and helpfull. Tea/Coffee facility in the room might be nice.
Great welcome. Wonderful food. Local people chose to eat in the restaurant which is always a good sign. Very friendly staff. Close to the river and loads of walks. A beautiful place to stay. The owners are wonderful people and all the staff make you feel at home. It was great. Hotel's hall and stairs are being renovated and when this is done the St Hubert will be perfect.
Very friendly and helpful staff speaking foreign languages (english and italian). Clean, cosy, nicely decoreted rooms. The restaurant down stairs serves good, honest food (big portions) in decent prices. If I'm around, I'll definitely visit again.
The staff were helpful and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant the food was delicious. The rooms were clean the showers excellent. Some bits of the hotel still need work but this is ongoing.
The food was well prepared and presented. The entrance and stairs were shabby and the bedrooms were very basic and not yet completely ready during ongoing renovation - a skirting board was missing in one bedroom.
