The property decorations were beautifully done and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom facilites were perfect. The room was beyond our expectation. It felt very private. The recommendation of the restaurant in the nearby village was excellent. I would stay here again. Excellent value.

Cons: - choice of breakfast was somewhat limited
7.5 Good
Pros: It was quirky. Nice spacious rooms with lovely ensuite. Garden was beautiful.
Cons: We had travelled a long way. Would have been nice to have been offered a drink and snacks on our arrival. We had to go out looking for supermarkets. Didn't feel like staff were very available. We didn't see anyone again until next day at breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The young lady who greeted us was very pleasant and understood English. She showed us the room, said we could use the kitchen and sitting room down stairs which had a TV and settee and told us where to eat as the onsite restaurant was closed on a Sunday. Comfy room, very quiet as in the countryside, lovely breakfast with lots of choice and very good value for money.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful especially when our train was massively delayed! Also after we told them we were leaving early in the morning and wouldn't need breakfast, when we changed our minds the table was laden with fab food and with a smile...!
Cons: It would have been useful to know there was a restaurant right next door for dinner the night before and the times it was open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the port (we overestimated time to the port and managed to catch an earlier ferry), lovely and comfortable and Cindy was very welcoming. We had to telephone ahead as we were to arrive out of hours, our room key was left in our room with a lovely note on the blackboard and we also let Cindy know what time we wanted breakfast. Breakfast was very yummy and set us up for the last leg of our journey home. In all honesty we wish we had known about this place in our previous trips.
6.3 Good
Pros: Perfect bed,nice people,close parking
Cons: Breakfast a lot of fly on it,no scrambled eggs,no eggs at all ,no meat orry exept nice pate.shower doors bad fit.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and pieceful place! Very comfortable bed. Very friendly hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners, very welcoming, nice dogs too!
7.0 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the floors immaculately clean.
Cons: Nobody around when we arrived, no signage or prior instructions how to get to room. Felt like intruders sneaking around trying to find our room, exhausted all downstairs rooms, climbed the extremely steep stairs to discover 4 unmarked doors, one of which was unlocked with key on floor behind door, no note so assumed it was our room. Very small, very clean. Bedsheet has creases indicative of previous occupants but with no one around ce lavie. No soap in shower, tried to use earthenware dispenser from sink but nowhere to store it. Only 1 working power socket down near floor next to door, ironic notice on door “best practice, remove laptop, mobile phone etc” when not a chance of plugging any of these in (kettle had priority) Only discovered WiFi password pinned to refrigerator in breakfast area by being nosey. Food at breakfast was very good however no choice and no prior notice of content which resulted in courses arriving as and when. Obviously a lot of people like this type of accommodation as we booked purely on the feedback - we will not be returning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, comfy beds, great countryside location only 40 minutes from Calais Eurotunnel. Perfect for night stopover
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was very good. Hosts very helpful.
Villa Blanc Marine - Bourbourg - Building
4
8.8 Excellent (94 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was gorgeous. Like the fact that there was a little fridge in the room. Really close to the town which had shops, bakeries, bars and a restaurant.
Cons: We liked everything
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was very nice and our host was extremely friendly and helpful obviously keen to make a good impression
Cons: There was a scent of doggie doodoo / cleaned up doggie doodoo in the entire entrance lobby and pervading the central space, didn’t carry over to the room but was almost terminal to our stay, if we’d had an easy alternate we would likely have left. Internet was intermittent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Size of the rooms
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a beautiful garden and great breakfast! If your looking for a quaint, quiet trip this is the perfect hideaway.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hosts are very friendly. I had a bit of a difficult time to find a parking spot with the one-way streets but they had already seen me drive by. Good breakfast, lots of things are home-made. It's an old building, but nicely restaurated. It was snowing outside, but warm inside. Very quiet.
Cons: Wifi code is not posted in the room, you have to ask in advance. You need good eyes to watch TV. My room was very big and the TV was across the room from the bed,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host, delicious breakfast, very clean rooms, modern bathroom, beautiful house and well kept rooms, tastefully decorated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner, great french breakfast!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The croissants were extra flakey !!
Cons: The wash basin is set too high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good We appreciated attention to detail, eg grab rail in the shower, and fridge with water in
Cons: We wanted to eat in on the first evening but there was no food in or nearby. We had to walk quite a distance to the nearest restaurant that was open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor and the garden.
Cons: The bathroom shower appeared to only have cold water. The sink had warm water so not sure if items use separate water boilers.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: View and value.
Cons: For the second time we have been there the bar and restaurant were closed! Do not book for a Wednesday. This should be shown on the website. There is not a lot else in Grand Fort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location 8 miles from ferry terminal Dunkirk
Cons: Restaurant was closed at a night
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a nice place, calm and serene with beautiful views. The hotel is nice, room a bit small but clean. We were pleased with our stay and would go again. Thank you.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It's a quiet place, if you don't mind driving for 10 minutes to the nearby town you have plenty of food and wine options.
Cons: It's very quiet, which had its upsides but be prepared to travel a short way for entertainment!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Very comfy amazing location, spotlessly clean and very good value for money. Would happily stay here again
Cons: Very few (if any) evening restaurants/cafes within walking distance
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice basic accommodation for a good price
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy parking, pleasant staff.
Cons: Bar closed early at 21.00hrs
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed only for one night ... it was everything to our satisfaction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a quiet location with safe bike storage
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, excellent coffee. Good location for our journey. Clean, simple and comfortable room. Lovely and gracious host.
Cons: A cotton base bedsheet would have been preferable to stretch nylon (at any time, but especially in summer). Hotel information in the room would have enabled us to use wi-fi at night instead of realising we didn't have the password and having to wait until the next morning.
Hôtel La Tente Verte - Loon Plage - Building
6
8.3 Excellent (414 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel La Tente Verte in Loon-Plage, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of North Sea and Gravelines Belfry. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very close to the ferry terminal
Cons: No air conditioning
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything. The Superior room overlooked a stinking rubbish skip. We complained and were grudgingly given another room, which was slightly better, but with no fan and no blinds to keep the heat out. The only reason we chose this place was because it is a hotel AND. restaurant. The restaurant is shut. The bar was shut. Getting any attention was nigh impossible. This place is completely misrepresented. We left the next morning, as staying for a second night was unthinkable!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the Ferry Port in Loon Plage and cheap
Cons: Nothing to mention
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to Calais and Dunkirk ferry ports
Cons: The accommodation was very basic but more than adequate for our needs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I count myself fortunate to have come across this place! It’s ideally placed around 10 minutes from Dunkirk (Dunkerque) Ferry Terminal and for a one night stay awaiting an early ferry back to UK it was ideal! Very clean with a beautifully presented room with en suite, I don’t think I could have found much better!
Cons: Fortunately for me it was a quiet time and I managed to park right outside but I think parking will be a problem during busy periods!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very flexible with our check in and out times!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Functional location not a village to go to when you do not need to take the ferry. And hence the hotel is ok for that purpose
Cons: Bit old and not well maintained facade. Inside clean and ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly host. Accommodated late check- in. Cyclist friendly.
6.8 Good
Pros: near to ferry port
Cons: breakfast could have more choice
Face À La Mer - Gravelines - Building
7
8.2 Excellent (514 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Face à la mer in Gravelines (Petit-Fort-Philippe), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of North Sea and Gravelines Belfry. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Good restaurant, enjoyed the Roquefort moules frites! Staff friendly. Lovely view.
Cons: Interesting bathroom in the room with windows through to bedroom! Photo below taken from the bathroom. Fine if you are really comfortable with your partner :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View from bedroom window fantastic. Tea & coffee in room Hotel has its own restaurant with good food. Breakfast was ample and in a calm pleasant environment.
Cons: Maybe new pillows? Slight sweaty smell on them or maybe sheets insufficiently laundered/aired. Lots of dogs staying in same hotel and the one in room next to us kept barking. Dog hairs in bedroom too. Need dog free rooms in hotels especially for those of us with allergies.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location is really good with a view out to sea. There is a restaurant on site. This is very much a budget hotel and to that end meets the criteria.
Cons: The room was very small with a very cheap and not very comfortable mattress. The toilet is bizarre with a large window onto the bedroom and no means of blocking the view to it. This was fine for me and my wife but some may find this unacceptable. The previous night we paid just 14 Euros more for an outstanding property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy parking. Staff friendly, beautiful view from the room. Dog made welcome.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was basic but ideally placed on the beach. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced and the staff were great. We were returning to the UK from the south so being only 30 minutes from the train it was perfect and far enough out of Calais to be a nice little stop over with the biggest beach you can imagine.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Rooms were clean but very small and dinner was tasty but quite expensive for small portions. The lady serving breakfast in the morning was great... can’t fault her
Cons: After checking in we asked what time we could order food and we were told 7pm so at 6:45 we went down for a drink to be told all tables were reserved. As the weather was nice we sat outside. We were given menus at 7:20 but the food didn’t arrive until half 8. The wait time was ridiculous and the staff not very attentive
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely nice and helpful. You get very good value for money.
Cons: Although the room was clean in general and I believe that the bed sheets had been cleaned, I did find someone else’s hairs in the sheets, which really makes you doubt the hygiene standards.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view of beach and sea from room. We were able to leave luggage and check in early before the room was ready.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing with one coissant, one jam portion, one nutella portion, one butter portion, 3 slices of white bread, pot of natural yoghurt and pot of puree.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location really good overlooking English Channel, room ok but tiny bathroom, not good location of mirror too close to sink, easy to bang your head whilst washing/shaving etc. Evening meal good value in pleasant restaurant setting plus staff very attentive, breakfast is basic but adequate. Proximity to ferry ports is excellent.
Cons: Bathroom layout
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Brithotel Confort Le Polder Gravelines in Gravelines (Petit-Fort-Philippe), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of North Sea and Gravelines Belfry. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the ferry port. Very good breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely pleasant and helpful, explained the condition of the room and all being refurbished throughout the year. Bed very comfortable and room air conditioned. Coffee on arrival only 1 €
Cons: Sensor light in bathroom a joke (they are aware), don’t take longer than 2 minutes either on toilet or in shower as the light will go off leaving you in complete opposite darkness and flapping around like a demented swan in a vain attempt to get it to come on again ( there is no window) Only 1 main light in room, too bright for reading in bed and switch by door. Switches for bedside lights but none fitted. All of these issues will be addressed in the next year when refurbished. Will certainly return next year when all the above will be a thing of the past.
7.5 Good
Pros: A short walk from the property is nice town centre with restaurants and beach.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room were clean and newly renovated. Bed felt like heaven.
Cons: There was no fridge, no kettle to make the tea or coffee or warm up the baby milk. Road is dark if you travel late at night. You see no one on the street
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Parking on the property
Cons: Old, grubby carpet and no hairdryer in the whole hotel. Was expecting more for 50€ a night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great place to overnight: 24 hour reception, really nice staff, bar, free breakfast for kids, and much more.
Cons: Only negative was very noisy bed - creaking every time you moved (room 20).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: we didn't have breakfast but the receptionist ordered pizzas for us at the last minute as the restaurant across the road had closed
Cons: lack of places to eat in the area
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very easy access to hotel and free parking. 24/7 reception and the staff very helpful. Simply and clean rooms. 15 mins drive to Dunkerque car ferry.
Cons: the furnitures and bathroom bit old.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean and tidy (in fact brand new rooms)
Cons: Finding it was a pain. It is labelled Le Polder with no indication that it is a hotel. With bars on the windows we drove past it twice! Room was new, sparse, with a new but very small bathroom.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The recent/ongoing interior redecoration makes it a passable one-night-stopoff. Good restaurants in Petite Port Phillipe but unfortunately these are still a mile away. Walkable on a good night. The car park offers more security than some cheap hotels in the area.
Cons: Is this the worst looking hotel in France? Shoot the architect! A 'must-see' for architectural critics everywhere. I assume the designer modelled the shape on the nearby West-Wall concrete bunkers (or perhaps it was one). The hotel is not well advertised and/or sign posted which I presume is because the owners are hoping nobody sees it. Its position on a run-down estate does not help the ambience either.

Cons: Room extremely small. Bathroom needs a shower door
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and free gated carpark which was important for us. They had no problem with us arriving late. It was comfortable and great value for money.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Basic accommodation (no coffe making facility in room) no frills but, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Disability facilities good, wet room and grab rails. We had our own shower stool and my severely disabled daughter managed the shower alone. Great breakfast with plenty of variety. Super friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Great location for an overnight stop en route back home to Amsterdam.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the 2nd time that we have stayed here. In both cases, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - all speak multiple languages, so communication is no problem. The bonus of staying here, is the black Labrador that belongs to one of the staff, he is just smashing and also very friendly and well behaved. Can only heartily recommend this place and we will certainly be stopping here more frequently in the future.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like, so this question doesn't apply to us.

Cons: The bar is rarely open in the evening.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This was a reasonably priced stay on a hotel convenient for the ferry
Cons: Pubic hairs in the bathroom. Cramped room. Desultory welcome at reception.
Dune Hôtel - Grande-Synthe - Building
11
7.9 Good (309 reviews)
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location for the ferry
Cons: No hot meals in the restaurant in the evening - just a cold buffet.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good for traveling to UK, close to ferry
Cons: Not for romantic trip
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good, close to the ferry port and we could stay there with a dog. Parking on site.
Cons: When I was checking in I informed the staff member that I have to leave by 6:30 for the ferry. I was informed the breakfast is served from 6 o clock and I can check out and pay as well. No one was there at 6:30 and all lights were off. I was waiting there till 6:35 and left. Before I left I rang the reception number. I spoke with the member of the staff (clearly very sleepy) explaining the situation but no one came down to the reception. On the reservation confirmation from booking.com it was said "check out is available from 6:00 till 11:00". That is not correct information. I emailed the hotel to say I have to leave and asked for bank account details to pay by transfer. I got email back with request to give my card details in the email...Really? I obviously could not do this as this is valuable information so I emailed back to say I can do it over the phone or by bank transfer but I won't give them my card details in the email. I got no response. Few days later I received the email from booking.com saying " hotel policies were not respected. And that I left the property without paying " - really? I wanted to pay but no one was there. I informed the staff I need to leave early the night before and that very morning. What about customers rights to professional customer care and information? As for the property itself, it looked a bit tired. My daughter got locked in the toiled because the lock was broken. So just be careful and check everything. Not recommended.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: comfy beds and great staff
Cons: no carpets on floors
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff there was very helpful. The hotel is nice and very close to the ferry terminal.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Gideon's Bible in 4 languages. The location is handy for the motorway from Calais to Belgium and the Netherlands. Easy parking, WiFi & computer desk in the room. Comfortable beds. Shampoo & towels provided.
Cons: Restaurant not open for dinner on Saturdays, but there are plenty of options nearby e.g. Buffalo Grill, Crocodile etc. What looks like the main entrance was closed, but quickly found an open entrance at the side.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beds were comfortable could open the window for fresh air
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds, free parking, the bar and lounge area.
Cons: The pillows!
8.8 Excellent

Pros: One plus, the bed was OK
Cons: Dirty, noisy, rubbish food and expensive....will not use again
9.5 Excellent
Pros: WiFi was poor, and no channels on TV
Cons: Beautiful place .. great location , and nice staff,
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location for connection south towards Lille and for the coast at Dunkirk. The room was a reasonable size, clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant was good and the staff friendly.
Cons: Not a fan of the flooring used in the room, I don't like that type of plastic matting.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The grounds are lovely and the reception is nice. Staff were good, but could not help our issues.
Cons: Cleanliness and room facilities dated and not in good condition. Stains on carpets, curtains and bed spreads. We slept on the covers and left the next day, losing our 2nd night, which we paid for. The toilet smelled of damp and the fixtures we pulling away from the wall. Not a place to stay in for families. We would not recommend to anyone but backpackers and students.
7.5 Good
Pros: good location, comfortable & convenient transit accommodation
Cons: nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel was out of Dunkerque (Outer city suberb) situated on a small lake, ideal for relaxing.
Cons: Bedrooms are basic and could do with updating to similar standard as lobby and bar.

Cons: Shower head needed cleaning out to be more efficient
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception/bar area very quirky. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly. Abundant parking available.
Cons: If you arrive after 9, there is no food available. Understandable that the restaurant needs to close but offering simple bar snacks would have been ideal especially if you have had a nightmare day of travelling.

Pros: Location was central and after 6pm on Fridays parking in the square is free for whole weekend. Bar at hotel was open until late and served a wide variety of drinks.
Cons: Room had no air con or fans on one of the hottest nights of the year so far. The restaurant was shut on Friday night, but cafes/brasserie in square were a good alternative.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this hotel and have stayed there on many occasions and will continue to do so. The location is absolutely lovely in an historic small village, car parking is good and the check-in times are excellent when travelling from the UK. The hotel has recently been upgraded and is looking much more modern and up to date. Our rooms overlooked the square and were absolutely perfect

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff, food, restaurant, and location was excellent and a lovely little town.
Cons: Only one thing we walked around the town on a Saturday evening then popped in a local bar which was very nice but closed at 10 pm it would have been better if it stayed open a little later.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: We only stayed for one night as we were travelling on the cross channel ferry early the following morning . . The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean .
Cons: . This is a very basic hotel - it needs updating and general maintenance.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly and the parking was private and right next to the property. The bed sheets and towels were very clean. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: The room was tiny and the room smelled. I think it was the carpet that was smelly - it could probably have done with a steam clean to lift the dirt and odour out from the fibres.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Localization.Easy access.
Cons: The parking car is too small.
7.5 Good
Pros: Receptionist really helpful
Cons: Leaking bathroom carpets wet.
7.0 Good
Pros: On a previous visit this hotel had a small canteen/restaurant, food was acceptable. On this visit the canteen/restaurant has been closed, permanently I think. The alternative is to eat at a restaurant just outside the gates, Poivre Rouge. Don't. It's junk food in dismal surroundings served by surly morons. Shame. The hotel itself is comfortable enough and cheap enough to make a good stop-over waiting for the ferry. Easy parking. Good location to port.
Cons: Restaurant has been closed down.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location by the port facilities
Cons: Air conditioning was leaking
7.5 Good
Pros: Struggling on this one. Staff are friendly and efficient. Proximity to port.
Cons: The fact that we were on the second floor in the roof and we had only skylights which were filthy and as there was a storm in the night VERY noisy. The towel rail was non existant and there were big holes where it shouldhave been! Our towels were balanced on the sink. The restaurant was closed/boarded up but nobody had thought to tell us that. Stayed there several times before and have booked it for our return journey!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Large room. Tea making facilities.
Cons: I was very disappointed that we were not notified that due to a fire the restaurant was closed. We were going to have dinner and breakfast.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location. Good beds and linen v clean, good sleeping room
Cons: Terrible bathroom , cracked and bath nearly off wall, shower door didn’t fit so had to hold it so water didn’t go over floor. Awful, needs attention fast Not much parking as shared with premiere classe next door

5.5 Okay
Cons: Accomodation was more like motel type, quite old but clean.
7.5 Good
Pros: I was able to order food from the front desk to eat in my room. When it was ready I received a phone call in my room so I could collect it. Brilliant. Lovely clean, fresh, white bed linen and lots of space in the room. Great tea/coffee making facilities in room and big TV.
Cons: The phone in my room would not connect to the main reception desk as I had been advised. I had to leave my room and walk to another building to order my evening meal. Because the room is off a long walkway that all guests must use to access their rooms, you cannot open the curtains or door/window to increase airflow in the room. Having a shower in the morning left the room with 100% humidity so I could not get dry before I dressed.
6.3 Good
Pros: Easy to access. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Needs a bit of an upgrade. Food was costly at the restaurant so didn't work out to be that much value for money.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: There was not much to like about this hotel. From the location to the comfort of the room, not event basic things were ok.
Cons: The ceiling was moldy in the bathroom and the walls had cracks and signs of dampness.
7.5 Good
Pros: Didn't have breakfast but room little tight space wide
Cons: Restaurant no air con just too hot Terrible so uncomfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, easy to find, enough parking, comfy beds, perfect for a stop over.
Cons: Booked a triple room, but it did not get through to the hotel as that, but as a double. We were ok with a double though.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Dirty bedsheet, booked double bed but got twin
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is about 30-40 minutes from the tunnel. Good secure parking, rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Price is excellent.
Cons: Reception not well signed - it's in the restaurant. 10 minute drive to nearest shop.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was good.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Loon-Plage? This hotel has facilities measuring 323 square feet (30 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Smelly room (smelt of dog) Shower broken 2 of three bathroom lights not working bathroom door had big hole in it Main door had holes taped up on inside
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is close to the port of Dunkirk so good for an overnight stay before taking the ferry. The breakfast is good.
Cons: The room is slightly larger than those of the competitors down the road. The bathroom is much larger but our bathroom had mould all around the bath. I don’t think the property is worth the price considering it is double the price of its neighbouring competitor. The extra cost is only worthwhile if you are staying more than one night.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff! Other than that, for as long as the rooms were clean and tidy and a shower was available with no sweat, it was perfect for a stopover en route elsewhere. Huge parking lot and close to the highway! :)
Cons: It requires a lot of investment. The neon lights require replacement in the "Hotel" sign, old hotel, no A/C, no lift and that's it. Staff were very friendly from the reception to the cleaning lady.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and good location to motorway
Cons: Smelly bathroom
5.8 Okay
Pros: We always like the situation, that you come off the ferry in the evening and your hotel is just round the corner. Essentially the offer of four beds is great and not easy to find.
Cons: In my previous rating three weeks earlier I had stated already that a few investments would be necessary to keep the place habitable. Now we have been in room no. 6. There is such an amount of mildew in the bathroom, that noone of our family felt like having a shower. Simply disgusting! the answer from the staff was simple: I cannot do anything about it. Send an e-mail to my director... We have decided not to book here for the next return from England, but rather do the four hour drive instead...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I, and my partner, use the Kyriad often as a very convenient stay on route and back from England on the Dunkerque - Dover ferry. It is always clean, friendly and comfortable. No complaints!
Cons: There is never enough milk, but the staff are always pleased to give you more if you ask
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yes. The beds were comfy.
Cons: Our after hours entry code didn’t work until after many various attempts we put a * before the numbers. This was not clear and caused much frustration.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Big car park free coffee & tea and kettle in room
Cons: The pillow was past its best and air conditioning in room was not cold!,but in was in the 90s
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The linnen, the stuff hospitality, beds very confortable, kettle on with drinks, free wifi, close to the beach .
Cons: The smoky smell , the carpets and the paint on the walls that is old , also the bathroom needs a good makeover !

Pros: It was good hotel I definitely recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located for visiting Dunkirk beach and museum. Also pretty close to the DFDS ferry terminal for Dover bound ship
7.5 Good
Pros: Very cheap and good location. Breakfast was cheap and tasty.

Located in Loon-Plage, Premiere Classe Dunkerque Sud - Loon Plage is within a 10-minute drive of Gravelines Belfry and Gravelines Arsenal. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.5 Okay
Pros: It was close to the car ferry so very handy for our return to the UK the following morning.
Cons: The lighting was poor, the bathroom was tiny, cigarette burns in the bedding and on the floor. Not especially clean, I was badly bitten by insects. The doors needed oiling and a soft close as they banged every time they were used.
6.8 Good
Cons: The room had been used by a smoker. It smelled of cigarette smoke
7.0 Good
Pros: This is a budget hotel. Great for stopover but basic. A little dated but clean and comfortable. All facilities you could need for short stopover. There was an option to turn TV to original dolby so could watch some TV in english. If you like luxury this is not the place for you but was extremely handy for ferry, within 5 min drive of take out place which we could eat at. Tables in facility and right next to supermarket and resteraunt. I was dubious about booking for return journey but for the money it was good value and would stay again.
Cons: There were some maintenence needed doing in room which could have made it better.
5.5 Okay
Pros: A budget one-night-stop convenient to the channel ports/tunnel.
Cons: Very 'budget' accommodation but does the job if you are looking for a cheap stay. Car park is tight for space and doesn't appear to be very secure.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: It was cheap... they say you get what you pay for
Cons: Room was tiny and had no fans etc. Shower kept falling off the wall. Walls were paper thin so we were kept awake all night by the couple in the next room who were obviously enjoying themselves more than us! Bathroom was run down and dirty, staff were rude, the whole hotel needs modernising or knocking down. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in
5.0 Okay
Pros: it was clean.
Cons: Campervan style plastic bathroom, ventilation not working, shower head holder and water temperature control not working well, drains smelly when wet. Door to bathroom slams onto bed and instead of having a door handle to quietly open it has got a push / pull mechanism which makes it impossible to open without noise, not great in a 4 square meter large bedroom if others are sleeping. Noisy road, no aircondition hence had to keep window to noisy road open, evening stuff not speaking English and unwilling to help. Firedoors banging loudly shut, unoiled and squeaky.
7.5 Good
Pros: One of the most convenient hotels for the port of Dunkirk. Five minutes away.
Cons: Breakfast limited.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cheap and very close the to ferry terminal
Cons: Nothing for the price
7.0 Good
Pros: ok
Cons: shower leeked bit cramped no thing in the evening
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff and convenient location to Dunkirk Ferry Terminal.
Cons: Small room with a tiny en suit

4.3 Okay
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Hard, uncomfortable beds, sharing toilets with 8 other rooms, toilets have no toilet seat so men urinating means I had to wipe clean for my daughter to use, each and every time. No sink in toilet. No soap for sink (bizarrely) in bedroom. Cigarettes smell. Just disgusting.
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfy bed and decent price.
Cons: Shared toilets are ok, if they're kept nice and shiny. At least they provided desinfectant so you could clean the toilet yourself... Except it ran out on my day 1 and wasn't refilled until I left.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always stay here great value and fantastic all you can eat restaurant very near lovely
Cons: Exerything was great
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money and no noise during the night. It was clean and check in was easy

4.3 Okay
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly.
Cons: The toilets were of less standard than they are in many motorway stations.
7.0 Good
Pros: It is conveniently placed on our journey. Car park available, staff friendly and efficient
Cons: It was very noisy in the night. The toilets are very dirty and don't flush properly. The carpet in our room was truly disgusting, I don't think I ever seen such a dirty carpet! Everything smelled slightly of urine or (if you open the window) strongly of cigarettes.
4.5 Okay
Pros: I expected poor facilities for £23 per night, so this was expected
Cons: The key codes to the door, the porter cabin toilet and the stranger that knocked on our door
