Pros: Beautifully restored farmhouse, very comfortable room and a lovely bathroom. Valérie and Didier were perfect hosts, coming out to meet us when we couldn’t find the property! The breakfast was also very good.
Cons: We spent nearly 2 hours trying to locate the property, being given different directions by 3 different villagers! We were actually very close but there was no sign at the end of the lane off the main road..... this would have helped us enormously!

Pros: Lady Catherine is a wonderful host and she gave us great advice on what to see and do in the area. Lovely house in a beautiful location and with friendly cats. Super and plentiful varied breakfast consisting of home made jams, yogurts and Far Breton and bread. Delicious local cheeses were offered and a cooked breakfast if you preferred it. We had a delicious omelette prepared using fresh eggs. We hope to visit again next year!

Pros: We were welcomed very warmly even though we were earlier than check-in (although we do find check-in far too late). Our bikes were happily stored in the barn next to the house with no issues. The room and facilities were very clean, bed was comfortable. All in all quite a nice stay. Unfortunately, it being a Sunday in France the town, though close, was shut so we dined on Ty Bocal which was surprisingly tasty.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was very peaceful and Benjamin was a kind and attentive host.
Cons: Everything was good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Proprietor, Benjamin, is a lovely human being; he is kind & warmly welcoming. He exudes calm. Meeting him was a highlight. He was helpful in suggesting sights to explore & patient and helpful with our French. He is passionate about the Brocéliande forest. Regarding breakfast, which is served in his dining area on pretty china, his coffee was delicious as were his homemade jams, crepes and bread. Cheese, granola, fresh fruit and yogurt rounded out the offerings. A toaster was on the table for guest use. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious & very comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water. Loved the towel warmer & large shower (it is in the room; toilet is in separate room). Liked the private entrance and space for parking. Enjoyed relaxing in the yard with delucious hard cider, complements of our host. All in all, this was a relaxing, very pleasant stay.
Cons: The room could benefit from a bedside lamp on both sides of the bed instead of on just one side. Otherwise the overall lighting in the room is excellent. We did not understand that a “hotie” is neither an inn or hotel but, rather, a kind of ”gite.” It wasn’t exactly what we expected, but we were not disappointed! A toilet paper holder in the lavatory would be a nice addition.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Non-intrusive but personalised attendance by Benjamin, the owner/manager. His enthusiasm and his pride in his establishment was quite heart-warming.
Cons: The description Hotie was unfamiliar to me (and also to UK friends who I asked later). I expected a traditional country hotel. But the Hotie de Brociliende's identity as a bijou rural guest-house fulfilled our holiday hopes absolutely. Far from being disappointed, we were delighted. I
6.8 Good
Pros: The large salon with kitchen access. Would have been even nicer if it was warmer.
Cons: The room layout and facilities. No table or desk for putting things on. No useful bedside tables. Clothes hanging only in the toilet. Cold in the breakfast room. Location not actually in Paimpont.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and cozy little place to relax. Conveniently located with easy access to great places to visit. Proprietor was very welcoming and I would certainly go back. Although we had a bit of a misunderstanding on whether or not breakfasts were included in the price, (just make sure it is... ) owner was accommodating.
Cons: Clarify whether or not ... if you go to a bed and breakfast... that it does include breakfast! Thought terminology was clear enough... but obviously in France they do things differently!!!!

Pros: My accommodation was in a beautiful period house and I had a large double room which was very nicely furnished and had a big double bed. The owners were extremely helpful and very charming. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent there 3 nights with our children. The house is an old chalet, built before the French Revolution, very well restored and beautifully decorated. Very clean and the staff are very friendly. In fact, the staff are the owners, very nice and friendly people and the lady is the perfect chef. If you choose to take dinner there, it is prepared by the owner and it is simply delicious! They cooked for us traditional gallettes bretonnes, which were really great. They also pay much attention to the design of the food so it’s not only delicious, but also looks very well. I’m so sorry I didn’t take pictures of the salmon with rice, vegetables and soufflé. I highly recommend!

Pros: Good location for visiting cap Fréhel, Saint Malo and Mt. St. Michelle, and the coastline in all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Manoir is a beautiful house. It has been sympathetically and thoughtfully brought up to date whilst retaining most of its lovely old features. The gardens are a delight, with several sitting areas. Monsieur Lionel is a warm and thoughtful host as well as a very good chef, and Madame Patricia immediately makes one feel welcome . They are both wonderful hosts, and couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and evening meals were delicious. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. We would love to return next year.
Cons: There was nothing at all that we disliked.
6.8 Good
Cons: WIFI very poor and had to be in certain position to get anything. Front door was locked when I returned at lunch time. Phoned landlady, left message but never received a call back. Spent 2 hours sitting in car before going to my business meeting. Not happy. When I left I waited in foyer to pay bill but no one was around so left to go to another meeting. Within 5 minutes of leaving, received 3 phone calls telling me to come back and pay. Did that and was late for meeting!
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was lovely and the property and its grounds were all we had hoped for. The hosts were friendly and courteous. Good breakfasts which were included in the price.
Cons: It was a shame that we were put into the wrong room and were asked to move once we had unpacked. It was also a shame that our room was not cleaned on the following day. We did it ourselves when we came in after our day out. We were disappointed that the log fire was not lit on our second night.

Pros: All was fine, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Lack of staff at Reception. To be fair it was December and not sure if we were the only guests but there was nobody at Reception when we arrived but the keys had been left. Parking area had been closed so we parked on road. The next day the parking area was open but the main door closed so we had to telephone several times to make sure we would be able to get in that night. Finally saw someone and they were helpful but it was a concern that nobody was on the premises in case of emergency or fire.

Pros: The food of the restaurant is AMAZING and everybody working there is super friendly
Cons: Wifi did not work but for me that was ok
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a family celebratory meal in the on site restaurant, so it was good to stay in the hotel bedroom above.
Cons: The breakfast is the most basic we have ever encountered. No juice ( empty and not replenished). No cheese. Just not so fresh croissant and bread
6.3 Good
Pros: The size of the room and decor of the hotel.
Cons: Service in the restaurant was very poor from the manager who would not speak slowly or clearly when asked to. The other waiter was more helpful, but this is not a place to go to if your French is limited! On two nights out of the three we stayed there were items not available on the menu, which for a limited menu was dissapointing. Our overall criticism of the service was tempered by the lady who served breakfast and prepared the bill.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, very clean room, great food at the restaurant
Cons: Some improvement required for breakfast (limited choice)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food excellent in restaurant. Breakfast continental adequate. Hotel very clean and well presented. Fairly central for exploring surroundings
Cons: A kettle in the room with drink making facilities would have been nice.
