Pros: Nice cozy place, with wonderful service! And very neat rooms. (Jay Peak ski resort is 8 miles from here, but make sure that your car and you prepared for winter in this area)
Pros: Amazing attention to detail. Decor is interesting. Owners are fantastic.
Pros: The hosts were fantastic and the B&B had great amenities! The dutch baby pancakes were a delicious way to start our morning. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
Pros: Everything about this B&B was incredibly charming! The breakfasts were delicious, the beds were very comfortable, and the availability of the hot tub after day of skiing was the icing on the cake!
Pros: Wonderful inn We had the Honeymoon Suite
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Property is clean, easy to find, walk to two nearby restaurants
Cons: Outrageously overpriced for what we got. Stayed there the first weekend of January - no crowds. Came in for skiing. The two-bedroom suite that we reserved was in fact a single room with high ceiling and partial walls that did not go all the way up. A white noise generator was provided to drown out the sounds. However, if one person wanted to watch TV and the other one sleep - that was not possible. The "living room" part of the room is small, there is no space for a table. A small gas fireplace was in the room but would turn on only when the temperature was below the thermostat setting. Breakfast was OK as long as you order your food but then be prepared to wait. Perhaps I am spoiled by other hotels where the basics like eggs, oats, toasts are readily available for self serve.
Pros: nice cozy just like home, take beer from fridge, jacuzzi.. very laid back and romantic
Cons: nothing really
Pros: Everyone was friendly without overdoing it. Excellent breakfast and quiet atmosphere. Nice lawn and stream on the property. Darren was very helpful with getting to know the area and even provided a map.
Pros: Excellent experience. We'll be going back!!
Pros: Friendly owners and a great place to bring your dog

Pros: I liked the cottage away from the rest of the busy of the hotel. It was quiet and relaxing.
Cons: There are different guide lines when staying in a cottage v. the hotel. A clear definition of what to expect in my conformation email or just any email would have been VERY helpful. Also there was no soap at all in our cottage. Not even in the bathroom. Also all but two of the restaurants in the area were closed the whole time we were there. That would have been nice to know as well.
Pros: Condo was perfect size!
Cons: There were little ants in the bathroom coming out of wall/ floor seam.
Pros: Location was beautiful.
Cons: Very hard to find, especially in the dark! Arrived at one hotel only being told our reservation was at the other location. Never was told in advance there were 2 hotels on property.
Cons: They advertised a swimming pool open until 9 p.m. they close at 7:30 there golf driving range shut down at 7 we had nothing to do the rock climbing place was closed at 7:30 all these places were advertised for later opening
Pros: Great choice of activities
Cons: The restaurant grill house has not enough choice and the food is not so great
Pros: Went off campus for breakfast. Restaurants were poor.
Cons: There was few dining options. The desk clerk talked my ear off. I was tired and just wanted to check in. We didn't make use of the amenities, and yet had to pay the resort fee. A rip off. The signage was not clear. Will not return.
Pros: proximity to ski slopes
Cons: staff not accommodating
Pros: Would be great if they provide a dryer at the Stateside hotel just like the Tramhaus.
Pros: I liked they had a store you could buy drinks and snacks. Good coffee!
Cons: Noise from next door could be heard, had to call twice. Only 1 restaurant. The dinner menu was 25.00 a plate and it did not give you much. The rental for shoes for the climbing was 10.00, so bring sneakers.
Pros: Staff were friendly, the ampitheatre was awesome, tram was added bonus.
Cons: they should not leave water in the room and then charge you if you drink it...not good business
Pros: Happy with the quality
Cons: Not enough towels in the room.
When you stay at The Rendezvous Bed & Breakfast in Lowell, you'll be 10 minutes by car from Lake Eden. Featured amenities include a business center and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. They made sure to go out of their way and cook a nice homemade breakfast catered to their guests.
Pros: The breakfasts were fabulous. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, lovely people.
Pros: Very clean, wonderful breakfast, owners were super helpful with local directions.
Pros: The home was immaculate. Our dog had a great time Rod made mozzarella and dried tomatoes bread for breakfast. The creamy scrambled eggs and sausage were local. Our host and hostess were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Look forward to seeing them again. Oh yes the number 2 seafood restaurant in Vermont is excellent. Called Cajun snd is seasonal. Again kudos to Donna and Rod.
Cons: The address in the profile has the incorrect town. It should real Lowell. They have tried several times to get booking to correct this to no avail. I guess if it isn’t corrected in a week I’ll have to post it on my trip advisor evaluation. I love booking.com. But this created frustration and wasted our time
Pros: Amazing weekend! Breakfast was delicious and the location was great. We will definitely visit again.
Pros: hospitality was superb, breakfast was a feast... attention to detail is excellent, the owners truly go out of their way to please you... only 20 minutes from Jay Peak, it is a great alternative to expensive mountain lodging. You won't be disappointed!
Cons: if I had to say something, the bed was a little soft for my liking...
Pros: Lovely older couple who are very friendly. The food, and flexibility of the hosts as to timing of breakfast was also very nice. Perfect for one night or two. Too small for a longer stay, unless out all day….[for example - if you are there to ski]. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their home and treat you like a special guest.
Cons: Room was a bit small but adequate. A little to close to road, so one could hear traffic.
With a stay at Black Lantern Inn in Richford, you'll be 11.2 mi (18 km) from Pump House Indoor Waterpark and 19.3 mi (31.1 km) from Mont Sutton. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice, clean and quiet. There was no breakfast included, but we still got some Muffins, coffee and juice.
Cons: Room wasn't very big.
Pros: Wonderful location in a charming small village. We took a country bike ride over nearby covered bridges and could not have been happier. Take a relaxing walk in the evening, sit on the porch with a glass of wine. Breakfast was amazing, dinner was quite good.
Cons: Our room was cute, but very much in the condition and style of an unrenovated old inn. Therefore, the floors creaked, there as no soundproofing, the bathroom was very cramped, and there was no air conditioning. If this is what you're expecting, then the Black Latern is wonderful.
Pros: Beautiful area Staff friendly and helpful Breakfast was fabulous- windy our cook/waitress was brilliant and very nice to chat with
Pros: Cozy and comfortable, what I hoped my Vermont experience would be! Great restaurant and super friendly staff.
Pros: Quiet and homey. Comfortable.
Cons: Lose WiFi reception often due to mountains area.
Pros: Quaint and quiet.
Cons: My room #4 was very small with no counter space in the bathroom. There was a visible layer of dust under the bed.
Pros: The Inn is an old new England Inn. It's not modern, but we didn't expect, or want it to be. It has charm, it's in a great location, if you're looking for scenery, getting away from the Maddening Crowd etc. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable, the entire 1st floor is the restaurant. It's in a small New England town and, if you want to walk around and browse through shops that's not an primary option as there are only a few. But, if you want to get away, have peace and quiet, read on the porch, hike, ski, bike, view wildlife, fall foliage etc. it's a great place to stay.
Pros: Very cozy environment. The room was beautiful and spacious and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable because it squeaked with every movement so we weren’t able to get a good night’s sleep. The room was also a bit cold in the living room part and it was difficult to figure out how to regulate the temperature to a comfortable setting. Also, a microwave or at least one in a common space would be very convenient.
Pros: It was cozy. Stuff was nice.
Cons: All the dust webs!!
Cons: Inn is still in 19th century. Archaic. No phones in room. No trash can in room (there is one toilet). Very very tiny room. Room locks untrustworthy. On tuesday, nothing is available including a smile
With a stay at Pine Crest Motel And Cabins in Westmore, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Lake Willoughby and Crystal Lake. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was so peaceful there. The cabin was comfortable and clean.
Pros: The guy who runs it was very nice and friendly. The room was good and the location is perfect if you going skiing for a day.
Cons: The heater in the room stopped by itself during the night and we woke up in a 60-degree room. This is particularly worrying for in winter time.
Cons: Dirty towels forgotten in the bathroom
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would love to stay when the snow has melted, the property seems as though it would be very beautiful.
Cons: The shower could use some updating, and the top of the heater got very hot. Worry some with little ones, but we definitely were not cold and it was single digits outside.
Cons: need A/C
Pros: This place exceeded our expectations! It was comfortable, very clean, rustic but modern. The river and pool where a few steps away from the room, and they also have a really nice fire pit going in the night near the river. We will definitely stay here again!
Pros: Very nice stay. Nice place et nice pool.
Pros: The place was very cozy. The staff there were really kind! Overall, we're really satisfied with our stay at this motel. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. The cabin look was nice to have too.
Pros: Super cozy, comfy and warm on a -8 day! Owner was super pleasant and we appreciated them accommodating our dogs!
Pros: beds were comfortable nice space for 6 of us good location, warm room
Cons: not clean enough..

Pros: Thanks to Nancy and Jim for the great stay! I was there for only one night for a ski class at Crafstbury, and the Inn and Nancy and Jim's welcome was all what I really needed after a busy day!
