Very helpful owner (juan) I would stay there again
the food and the friendliness of the staff no
Great people, Lovely breakfast, Clean rooms,Close to beach, Private parking nothing
Earing in mind the excellent inclusive breakfast the value for money was superb.
We found staying there convenient for our requirements. It was OK
The Breakfast was first class
The staff were exellent and ever so friendly. The breakfast was better than I have received in Hotel's with a much higher star rating. They cooked a full English Breakfast fresh to order each morning and all the other usuals were on offer. We used the hotel as a touring base and it fit the bill perfectly.
Location and staff No tea and coffee making fascilities and no English TV and no availability of food and drinks in the evening
very friendly hotel directly opposite the beach
We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and the booking in and out of the hotel was stress free. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot really comment about the food. The room was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was small but well equipped. All the rooms are facing the sea and it was lovely to take in the views from the balcony which again is very spacious. The pools were a bit too chilly for us to use but looked well maintained and the areas surrounding the pool were clean and tidy. There was nothing that we didn't like but a toaster in the room would have been a bonus for us as the grill on the microwave took such a long time to brown the toast.
We would return but not high season, we enjoyed the hotel being half empty for most of our stay. The staff were very helpful and responded very fast to our requests. It was good value for the money, the room lacked a lot of basic necessities ie cups, bowls, sharp knives, etc.Perhaps a small welcome Pack would have been helpful [milk coffee tea washing up liquid etc]after a long day traveling [arrival at hotel 22;45hrs].The apartment was not comfortable and it looked old and worn considering it is a relatively new construction.
With self catering option, got a one-bedroom apartment with basic cooking facilities, large balcony and sea view in a 4-star complex for only 28 euros a night for 2 people. The 3 small independent bars opposite the hotel were very friendly, offered good food & were cheap. The quiet location at the western end of Mojacar suited us, but may be too quiet for others.
food was very basic .rooms very good.no wi fi .
clean and value for money ,we will stay again ,a big thank you to all hotel staff . we had a two bed apartment and found the second bedroom very dark
Excellent location. Good facilities.
the friendliness of staff no
good location the other guests, too many english people abroad
Evening buffett good. Brealkfast good. Dinng room ambiance good , Dining room staff helpfull. Gardens well kept hotel rooms very clean but a bit tired. not what we expected from the description, rooms bit tired, maybe we expected too much from a "junior suite"
a very friendly family hotel great position very clean spacious rooms 8.00pm start time for evening meal........too late
Excellent would stay again
friendly helpful staff; location; ambiance of hotel and grounds; good and plentiful buffet, attractively presented for evening meal; breakfast buffet - excellent scrambled eggs and good variety of foods from which to choose, fresh hot tea and coffee. Overall good value for money. no quiet, cigarette- smoke free area, indoors, to sit and relax in the evening to play cards or just chat.
The room, food and location was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pity that mid week we had to walk to another hotel for meals but understand why it was necessary. Smoking in the bar was really nasty, you should ban all smoking.
Value for money, very clean and excellent location.
Large room with large terrace over looking the sea, great fro watching the sunrise from the sea. Wow.
Good location, clean and good view
The beachside location was fabulous with lovely comfy sunbeds, the pool was also great. The breakfast buffet was excellent value. The rooms were comfortable, lovely to have a fridge and aircon and balcony. All in all very good value.
One of few hotels in Mojacar on the beach side of the coast road. Our room opened directly onto the beach. Good breakfast included in our room rate. Very good sized room, with two double beds and a fridge. Good sized pool.Half way between the Cross and Garoucha.
Cleanliness and comfort of the room together with sea view No
Very clean, pleasant, helpful staff, beach side location, full size fridge in room, off road parking. Small TV near ceiling, no English language programmes. Wi-fi only worked properly in bar area.
The location is right on the beach, at the quieter end of mojacar but within easy walking distance of a few shops, bars and restaurants. The swimming pool is covered to prolong its use. The room was clean, pleasant with good quality beds, the ground floor terrace had uniterrupted views of the sea. The mini bar is actually a fridge, but useful for our own drinks. The public areas are lovely. We liked the hotel and the staff were very friendly, however, as in most Spanish hotels there are no tea making facilities in the room and the buffet breakfast was limited in its choice. This is not a negative about this hotel just something to remember when staying in most Spanish hotels.
Very nice place and the staff were very good. A very nice place to stay for the money That the swimming pool was closed on the afternoon when we wanted to use it.
I found the hotel very very clean, comfortable & quiet. the food excellent, very good variety and quality. hotel was almost on the beach. Not at all
The views were stunning and the food was excellent No
It was very quiet. I didn´t spend much time at the hotel but the breakfast was excellent. I thought I´d pop back to the hotel for a drink in the bar. It was about 9.00pm but the bar was in darkness and there was nobody about. However, in their defense, I don´t think that there were many rooms occupied as it is out of season.
I loved the spacious room and friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Sean, one of the owners, is American and was the best host I have ever met. His wife speaks Spanish and was so delightful! The rest of the staff was the best ever and I adore this place. I loved everything!
staff and location room had only one bedside cabinet, part of ceiling coving was missing, large patch of paintwork missing in the bathroom, pool was out of use and full of gunge and poor breakfast standard for the price of room
The friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. It has an excellent restaurant. I think the shower unit in the bathroom needs updating - there was only a shower curtain around the shower base and no slip mat. There was no heating in the breakfast room and it was cold in the mornings.
good service friendly staff great location the hotel has a great restaurant nearby which i would definetely recommend we are not great walkers but we saw hotel staff taking time to advice other keen walkers nothing it was great
The accommodation was a spacious a bedroom/ en-suite and a comfortable lounge with air conditioning in both. The dinner and the wine was delicious and the service first class. They also don't have rules for breakfast times, they will make whatever you want when you want. I would recommend it highly.
The food was wonderful Breakfast was a bit ordinary. The resturant was quite chilly in the evening in November
Intimate & relaxing.Loved all the different types of art work that adorn the walls. Lovely small but cosy garden. The warm and welcoming staff made us feel that nothing was too much trouble & that they were actually pleased to see us. Unlike many other larger hotels.Lovely views of the sea from the roof solarium.Dinner in the hotel was very good, and as we were there on a Thursday it was musically accompanied, by Richard the Jazz guitarist. No bath, and the shower is a little dated. However the rest of the suite is very nice. Also breakfast was not buffet as stated, but it was served in the lovely garden and at whatever time we chose, up to 12 noon.So this more than made up for it.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were excellent. Cannot be faulted
Everything was excellent. Including breakfest at midday.
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and very helpful staff who spoke English. Nice dining room and excellent food. Well located for beach and town. A very enjoyable stay and would use again. Sitting room window looked into a wall and no window in bedroom. Not a big problem as little time spent in room.
The hotel was family run, by a lovely couple. It was very private. They created a very friendly and loving atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the had a very good wine list. Anything we asked for we got, with a smile. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending it to friends.
service & breakfast evening dinner was not as good as we had experienced it on previous visits
they could clean the room carpet stains a bit more
Use of Spa facilities
staff made my family very welcome and couldnt do enough for us. excellent in all aspects. no - excellent.
General comfort, cleanliness & good value. Excellent golf desk staff. No electric trolleys for hire. The course is long and in hot weather it is not pleasant to have to pull a trolley.
Good sized senior suite. Good breakfast bar selection. The hotel lacks character, is too large and the interior design is uninspiring. Some of the electrical fittings in the suite were poorly fitted and one computer point non-operational. The area around the bath tub required recaulking and thoroughly cleaning. The bath itself was stained.
free spa treatment with booking, great golf & facilities basically liked it all.
The room had a great view of the 18th green, across the golf course and down to the sea. The room was a good size, the hotel had good facilities and it was an extremely relaxing stay. The golf course was in excellent condition The dining room had a dress restriction which we did not know about. However, we saw someone going in dressed in scruffy jeans. Surely in the summer months a nice pair of tailored shorts is far dressier than scruffy jeans. The hotels loss was "Fairways" gain. Across the road in the commercial centre a good restaurant with great food for a good price. Also the pool area needs more sunbeds and/or chairs. At times there was nowhere for people to put their towels and bags in order to go for a swim so this needs attention. This results in people putting towels in the morning and not returning until later in the afternoon.
Located well out of nearest town, self contained golf resort. Limited food options in Hotel. Dinner is a buffet from 7:00 to 10:15 , everything lovely at 7:00 but by 10:00 things look a bit sad. However there is a chef ready to cook meat & fish so you can get some decent hot food at 10:00. Not told that beside hotel is commercial complex with 3 restaurants open till late. Staff could be more informative
very noisy both from traffic and hotel water tank which seemed to be above our room. Bathroom smells.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. During our stay we experienced some of the heaviest rainfall the region had seen for many years. The basement area, including the restaurant, was totally flooded to about a metre deep. The lift shafts were like water falls but the staff and the owner could not do enough to help us cope and make us comfortable. For a situation out of their control they coped very well. We did find the bed was too hard, therefore my wife and I bought two inflatable beach beds to place upon our mattress. With hindsight we could have asked for another room but due to the flooding we decided to leave things as they were.
Good food, very clean hotel/rooms , friendly staff room we stayed in had a terrible odor coming in from the drains, really overwhelming
noisy generator kept us awake at night.
I have no problems with the hotel however it is isolated. To get to Mojacar was a 15 to 20 minute car journey.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool. Mostly occupied by Spanish families which made for a pleasant atmosphere. Fresh coffee and fresh orange juice at breakfast would be a great improvement. Very high deposits required per towel at the pool.
As we only stayed 1 night we didn't get chance to sample many of your hotels services but what we did we very pleased with ie.room,breakfast.We would definately return should the chance occur.
Hotel Ok The hotel beds are too hard
The buffet breakfast was good. The beach (although it is nowhere near as close as advertised) The smell from the bathroom was disgusting - a real sewer smell - we had to buy air freshener in the local supermarket. The Hotel does not have sea views - there is a new block just been built in front of it - instead we had a room overlooking he pool which overlooks a very busy and noisy main road. The Hotel may only have been built in 2000 but it already needs a good overhaul and is definitely not up to a 4 star standard. The room was shabby and tired and the air con was poor and very noisy. Lastly - no way is it 150 metres to the beach - a good ten minute walk. Would not stay again. The area of Vera Playa has a beach which is lovely, but very little else - few restaurants etc. it is rather a "sad" resort in the evenings when it seems to be empty.
Beautiful hotel, breakfast good, location fantastic with the beach access. Good facilities to keep children occupied. Limited family use of the spa circuit, and nothing to advise that a reservation is required, so to queue and find out we could not get in was disappointing.
It is the first time we have asked for a quiet room and actually got one. Usually we are situated next to the lifts or the evening entertainment but the staff went out of their way to make sure our requirements were met. The evening waiter who worked regularly in the indoor bar was a bit sulky but the waiter in the bar outside was really friendly.
Very orientated towards the Spanish family. I found this a very good thing. The staff were very accomodating, and helpfull, although a staff member that spoke English would have been helpfull, but we got by. The location was quiet and the location goodl. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the food was great value for money. I would have liked an Iron and ironing board in the room, this is a four star hotel, or at least a room set aside to iron something. The gym was very basic and there were no towels or water provided, unless you were prepared to pay 1euro.
It is very family freindly hotel with lot's of activities for the children. The pool is very good and again the slides and childrens pool is ideal for a family holiday. Food is excellent with good valiety and quality.
spa smell of swimming poll in the loby
The hotel was very good value for money based on the deal we had. The room was spacious and very good with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was also very good.We very much enjoyed it and as we have family living in the area would not hesitate to go back to Zimbali again. A very slight grumble that none of the information books re activities etc were in English.
The hotel was maintained in a very clean condition, especially the rooms. The food was anything but Gourmet!
Size and style of accommodation. Restaurant food, good selection. Location to beach Fitness room equipment not serviced and most machines mot working. We pointed this out to the management 2 days after arriving but nothing was done about it even after a second mention. We were told it is a 'free' facility but we count it as part of the price .Pool area small for size of hotel. Spa area alway full,. Too many crying children at dinner time 9.30 eve! Bar is like an airport cafe
Very comfortable and excellent VFM as half board. Food was not a la carte but very enjoyable. Bar prices also very reasonable for a 4* It is a large hotel and our room was a long walk from reception with luggage. Unfortunately no bell boy was on duty to assist.
the staff the tv was not tuned in
The food was very good and the pools werenice and clean
Very nice place to stay. Excellent food and great swimming pools
3rd vist in 12 months - all facilities including the golf.
location at beach and general atmosphere of Mojacar Playa region as a resort area and the November sunshine . Excellent hotel restaurant. very good breakfast Impersonal; nobody at desk or in Restaurant ever asked the usual " is everything alright " or " are you enjoying your dinner ". Service of Coffee at morning buffet is not satisfactory; slow, cold.
Staff very professional and helpful. Hotel quiet and well run. Nothing.
A quiet (while we visited during October), well designed, modern hotel with all the facilities that could reasonably be expected for a good quality hotel in its class, with friendly and helpful staff and good buffet breakfast.
my door wouldn't stay shut without being locked. No safe in room (door missing - and not previously advised). Television did not have the full set of channels in either of our two rooms. Restaurant / bar service was surly - and for the pool, non-existent. Price of wines was far too high for Spanish restaurants.
Very close to the sea. Has sea view almost from every room. Good restaurant. None.
Very good service, very comfortable room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. In fact excellent for everything. N/A
The location The Parador is an old hotel whose customers tend to be mainly Spanish and we felt at times ignored when requiring waiter service.
The bathroom was beautiful and the products were of high quality. The staff were very unfriendly and when we tried to book at the restaurant for 2200 they looked horrified, so we went somewhere else.
location, good parking, near beach and nice aras to relax in resturant very expensive, compared to local resturants. room not as shown in advert, still pre renovation.
Comfortable, clean, with a friendly and helpful owner. Although overlooking road the excellent glazing kept any noise to a minimum. Great extra touches:bottled water in room, toiletries and white towels in bathroom. Excellent value. Nothing to say!
Very pleasant staff. Very helpful and friendly. We liked it souch we have booked again
Swimming pool Room not like for star hotel room. Stinky the bathroom. Old furnitures, and the beach is not soo nice. Too much single man was there, it is not normal in the real naturist place.
Food was excellent. Cut off from anywhere. Need better entertainment. Resident band would be good.
We both went there with our exhaustion and came back totally relaxed would I go again yes at a discount rate Too much shade in the garden area so its very hard to be in the sun. Far to many people putting towels on sun beds and not useing the bed
Excellent facilities, fabulous pool, great beachside location, attentive staff. Excellent food. Certainly a quality 4 star hotel.and a privelege to stay at. The hotel exceeded our expectations.Just terrific
Third time at the Vera Playa and overall good. The animacion and facilities are great. I think that the bar staff could be more friendly and less intimidating.
Pools and beach access. Very offhand staff. Dining experience more school canteen than 4 star.
Very well maintaned hotel, food is good, rooms cleaned regulary, staff helpfull
the hotel was great and the hoiday brilliant and naturist
peacfull stay paying for the beach seats, should be provided for free for hotel guests
Very friendly, very interesting community of guests, 4stars in Naturism is great :)
everythin our stay was great.
Breakfast, which was the only meal we ate at the hotel was excelleng None
clean nice fittings good price room didnt have a balcony
Brand new ,spacious rooms, excellent sea views, beautifully appointed public rooms ,excellent food , family run, pleasant and helpful staff Everything was perfect
Good location on the beach front, good sized rooms and good facilities, just need proper pillows. \nice garden and breakfast buffet good. the pillows and charged for tea and coffe in room
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good choice of food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. In a good location. Having to pay for tea & coffee in your room, beds too hard.
Everything was perfect. Most enjoyable holiday. Having to leave.
The hotel was in a good locaton with easy access to the beach, local bars and the bus stop The fact that there was very few members of staff , the hotel bars were not attended.
Room, staff and most of the food. Music on Saturday night. Being charged for room coffee and sugar. Food on Sunday night limited because the number of guests were fewer.
nice and quiet
Hot water in the bathroom
Spacious appartment in pleasant location near the beach Difficult to find a parking place
Lovely resort. Very clean. Pool great. No Hot Water on last couple of days.
The staff on arrival were a bit rude and that tainted the begining of the stay. Thought they should have been a bit happier (even if they werent!)
i live on the costa del sol and its very busy, i loved the beach and the tranquil place and the apartment had everything. no
The leisure center was absolutely disgustingly dirty. The pool tiles were filthy..as were all the walls and surrounding areas. The jacuzzi was out of service. I do believe that the hygiene standards of the pool area were totally unacceptable..and I noted these comments on the hotel questionnaire I was given upon departure
Staff were very helpful. Good play area for children and pool area well kept.
Very spacious appartments with every facility well appointed. Swimming pools were not very inviting, and there seemed to be no other facilites? No welcome pack to explain anything about what was available...
The buildings and pools look nice The room smelled. We changed to another room, it also smelled of smoke.
Excellent cottages and surrounding, very secure. Nothing special about location.
The bungalow was equipped really well and had a nice heater. The check in/out procedure was very long and since we stayed only one night it was a great hassle. I guess if one stays for 2 weeks it is no problem at all.
The Camping complex is kept very clean and security is good There English is poor but then I should learn to speak Spanish! The staff were always ready to help nothing was to much trouble.
Easy to find central location. Stayed in the one-star section which had everything I needed for the stay. Reception staff were very helpful. Selection of restaurants and shops close by in addition to on-site facilities. no
The procimity to the beach was fantastic - literally a stones throw away. Air condition and a TV were a pleasent suprise. The images on the website have absolutly no corrilation to the size of the rooms, and quality. The 'roof terrace' was a small balcony looking at a car park rather than the sea. The meal / buffet was not that good, but reasonably priced, however you can eat out in the area for the same amount and get some really good food..! The staff were friendly, but not very knowledgable... No hot water for 2 days was a bit unfortnuate, but i guess this was just poor luck - im not sure if they gave us a free meal for it or just messed up the bill...
excellent location, helpful staff we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
room comfort was fair because we booked a budget room & that is what we got. The swimming pool was clean & uncrowded, close to bar 5star! All good. we booked on a room only basis. reception, bar, pool all great. Did not use restaurant as we eat out (our choice)
This Hostal is attached to the hotel and you have the use of their facilities ( swimming Pool. Dining Room etc( Breakfast Lunch and Dinner very reasonably priced) . Hostal could do with a little up-date but location and Sea views great for the price. Clean , Tidy and friendly staff
The room and service from the staff were excellent and the room was very good value for money, clean with a good view and balcony. We were shown to our room which was more than we got at a 4 star hotel. We felt the breakfast needed replenishing as it looked a bit lacking when we went for breakfast which was not late.
The friendlyness of the staff its quiet location and the excellent food all was OK
The food was great and the staff very friendly. It's just by the beach and has a good pool.
I booked our holiday for september and I booked only a basic accomodation but it wasn`t busy when we got there, so the receptionist gave us an accom with terrace. We really appriciated that, and the seaview was amazing. We booked a half board option and we were happy with the food. Beautiful beach was just across the road, the road was noisy sometimes, so we couldn`t keep open our windows for night.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room very clean. We stayed half board and the food was of very good quality.
