Outdoor Spaces Upper Turtle Lake has a sandy bottom, and is a large, fully recreational lake where anglers can catch bluegill, large-mouth bass, walleye and northern pike and you can enjoy all water sports. Bring your own boat or rent our pontoon. The yard is shaded with a combination of white and red pine as well as beautiful old growth hard wood trees including maples and oaks which provide spectacular fall color. Spend your afternoons fishing from the dock, napping in the hammock in the shade of the trees or visiting on the porch. Moonlight Mooring is literally just steps away from the lake, down a gentle slope. There is a grassy area at the lake's edge, so you can spread out a blanket and relax near the water.
