Pros: We liked everything at this hotel, very friendly owner, she showed us the facility, where to eat and what to see. Definitely will come back again!
Pros: The hotel is situated in the country side. It is the perfect place for a relaxing stay. The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are charming, individually decorated and clean. The restaurant is a must try! Fresh products, creatively served, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Pros: Most excellent breakfast with fresh home made food, or locally sourced. Stunning views, amazing building.
Cons: Can’t really think of anything
Pros: Everything, this is just a lovely place with great hosts and wonderful food.
Pros: An amazing place to stay, the hosts are very welcoming, if you stay here make sure you eat at the restaurant. The fine dining, local food theme really is something special!
Pros: Stunning Interior
Cons: Seemed to be geared for restaurant rather than hotel experience
Pros: This is a fabulous restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel with a fabulous restaurant. A beautifully restored and still functioning wheat mill in beautiful surroundings with an incredible kitchen. Everything at breakfast is home-made and dinner is astounding. Do reserve your table in advance: it is often full!
Pros: Restaurant food was not to our taste and expensive
Cons: Choice of food in Restaurant
Pros: Lovely room overlooking the mountains. Food excellent. Well worth the stay just for the food. Staff were very helpful and made you feel very welcome. We will be back.
Set in the mountain village of Seytroux, a 25-minute drive from Lake Geneva and Thonon-les-Bains, La Halte du Moulin offers guest rooms with wooden décor. Free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a wardrobe and a bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. A continental breakfast is served daily. It is also possible to enjoy traditional, regional cuisine at the on-site restaurant upon reservation. There is also a designated area with free WiFi access. La Halte du Moulin is a 15-minute drive from Morzine and the Portes du Soleil ski resort. The thermal town of Evian-les-Bains is a 30-minute drive away.
Pros: Skied in Morgins and slept here - 15 minutes, very good value for money. Might be complicated if there is heavy snow since there's a steep road to get to the hotel from the main road. It's really a restaurant (looks very good but did not have the chance to try) and a separate area with 4 confortable bedrooms. The rooms are right next to a little river, there is the noise of the water flowing all day / night, did not disturb me at all. Breakfast is simple but very good. If you need anything else they will cook.
Pros: good honest accommodation for a 1 -2 nights stay.
Pros: Beds were excellent Lovely fresh clean smell Good strong shower Nice communal area Very quiet MOST of the time Easy parking Handy for montriond/morzine/Ardents lift VERY good value for money Superb food in the restaurant Very friendly waitress
Cons: Room a little small Window on to communal space and other on to lower ground courtyard not great but ok No boot room or at least none shown to us Breakfast a little pricey at 8 euros standard and additional supplements for eggs etc but it was good quality. The 5 euro breakfast (as other reviewers have mentioned) is advertised outside but was not offered to us. Noise on final night due to village party being held right above our room which we had not been told about. Karaoke, shouting and laughter was still going on at midnight before we had a morning flight home from Geneva. We went up to ask when it would finish and were told it was the first such event they had held and did not know the impact it would have on the guests’ rooms. We were told it was due to finish at 1am. It did get quieter around 12:30 am. Would have been nice to be warned, even invited to join in as it was a Saturday night so understandable, but we do think consideration of the guests staying in the rooms beneath the event should have been a priority. Checking out on reception the next day the lovely lady was apologetic and asked if we had been made aware in advance. It was an inconvenience and a little stressful however we are sure this is a one off and won’t happen again. We did love our stay and it was amazing value for the area.
Pros: French & simple
Pros: The bedroom was warm, tatefully decorated in alpine style (although the building is relatively modern), and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom looked almost new and was very clean. We had a door to the outside which was useful. The food we had at dinner (two nights) was really excellent, very tasty and with generous portions. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It is a lovely village with a good walk alongside the river and beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding countryside.
Cons: Nil I notice some reviews have mentioned no wifi in the bedroom but this did not bother us as the mobile 3G worked fine.
Pros: Really loved the kindness of the staff - even if they did not really speak english. We took part on a sport competition so we needed to leave early morning, so they prepared breakfast for us early at 6 in the morning. :) Thank you!
Pros: This small family run hotel was the best Accomodation of our 4 week trip in Europe. Arthur, his family and staff were so welcoming and helpful. Arthur even helped us out when we managed to get our car locked in a carpark in Morzine. The continental breakfast (croissants, breads, fruit, yoghurt etc) was served to us on the terrace or in the bar. There is also an on-site restaurant which we didn’t have the opportunity to try. Plenty of locals were at the Bar or restaurant but wasn’t at all noisy in the downstairs bedrooms. The small village of Seytroux is charming and quiet (even with the church bells chiming every hour or more!!) I highly recommend if you are travelling with a car to stay here rather than the busier and more expensive Morzine or Les Gets. We would loved to have stayed longer than 2 nights. Thanks Arthur and your staff.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: Super nice staff. Room was soooo clean. Super clean. What a great place!
Pros: Everything was perfect. The accomodation, kind owners, perfect food
Cons: Nothing to add
Pros: Friendly staff, great location. Good value

Pros: Newly refurbished room. Exceptionally friendly staff.
Cons: Shower water sprayed all over the bathroom, but not a major issue.
Pros: Dinner was a very enjoyable experience. We were served lots of different dishes and it was very reasonably priced.
Cons: A long way from anywhere. The road to the hotel was small and windy. Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet so we couldn't use the pool or other outdoor facilities. The entrance was very new and smart but our room was very old and dated. Very old uncomfortable bed, the shower was hand held in a tiny bath with no shower curtain so very awkward to wash oneself.

Pros: Lovely staff, warm, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and bar were great and also appreciated the daily cinema screening for kids in the room downstairs (opportunity to take a break:-) I was born and raised in the area and it has changed a lot in the last thirty years, to the point that I hardly recognise it sometimes. However the hotel Christiana has managed the transition more than well, true to its roots and genuine whilst managing to make everyone feel welcome, locals and non locals. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay.
Pros: Everything about this hotel is amazing!
Pros: Right on the slopes
Cons: All good
Pros: Think we have found a great place to stay for a ski holiday
Cons: I thought the food and wine was a bit expensive
Pros: Everything. The food was delicious and staff catered for my vegetarian friend fantastically well and without fuss. The location beside the lift was a huge bonus.
Cons: Can not find anything negative to say.
Pros: excellent location, friendly staff

Pros: breakfast was a nice surprise, fresh butter croissants on top of crusty bread along with home made plum and apricot jam... un délice. a long time family of bikers and bike lovers must see.... the boar trophy wearing leather helmet and bike googles
Cons: not applicable
Pros: Cheerful host, who is always willing to help and make your stay comfortable. The set meal provided in the evening was fantastic and the garage parking for my motorcycle was a nice bonus.

Cons: There were 2 lots of steep steps to this very, very basic accommodation. The welcome from staff was non existent. Other than the cheap price, there was nothing to like about this place.
