Conveniently situated for for travellers by car. And a very friendly and experienced staff - plus a marvelous dinner buffet.
Good location, many additional services are available free of charge. Smiling and friendly staff. Sometimes too many guests want to go to jakuzzi or swimming pool.
This was a pleasant surprise! From check in to check out and every person who works in this hotel, it exceeded any expectations we had!
The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations on where to go and some of the trails close by. I cant wait to come back and visit.
Breakfast Quallity, service, roomsv - all very, very bad
Excellent 1930s atmosphere with matching furniture and fittings. Helpful and friendly welcome. Superb building. Beautiful views of the fjord and the mountains. The price was appalling.
All is perfect like in a 19 th century hotel. The manager of the hotel welcomes his guests and tell them about the history of this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful . the diner is expensive
Very very disapointing Everything exept location and free wifi
It was like visiting distant relatives, who took the time to explain about their old house and it's antique furniture, before serving the home made dinner. The room was rather small.
Jolsterlia Hyttetun is a small group of sod roofed cottages in an absolutely lovely location with breathtaking views. We are a family of four (our kids are teenagers) and we were quite comfortable staying here, although it was only for one night. If we had had the time, we would have loved to have stayed for longer. The cottages have fireplaces, nicely sized kitchens, a great big front porch for eating, a well proportioned bathroom, a living room, and two bedrooms. We "swam" in the nearby stream- it was very refreshing though slightly numbing. The owner/caretaker was extremely kind and we highly recommend staying here.
