Pros: Very interesting place to stay because of the restoration project it represents and Christophe is the perfect host. He also advised us to eat before arrival on Sunday evening as local restaurants are closed. Very comfortable bed in a spacious room and excellent bathroom installation. Lovely large sitting rooms on both ground and first floors. Very good breakfast with plenty of options. Close to La Chapelle de Notre Dame du Haut at Ronchamp which we visited the next morning.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Philippe went far out of his way to make our trip wonderful. When we arrived late, he called around to find an open restaurant and then not only did he give us a ride to the restaurant (which had amazing food!), he had the staff call him when we were done eating and he came back to take us to the hotel!! Wow, amazing service and both of them were always smiling and so friendly! I’d love to go back and will tell people our story. Philippe also gave USA ride to the Le Corbusier chapel in the morning. Wonderful, wonderful!
Cons: Not a thing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: when checking out the language barrier was confusing, without asking for it, the English speaking owner called after checking out to make sure we understood the bill. that was unexpected and very much appreciated! The gardens are amazing..only with those peonies were blooming, might have to go back next spring just to catch the 1000's of blooms we were too early to see. :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just back from a great trip to Croatia and France. Without a doubt, one of the highlights was my stay in Ronchamp, and not just because I've waited 40 years to see Le Corbu's amazing chapel. It was also and in large part because of my 2 nights at this wonderful inn. It is a pleasure just to be inside the beautifully appointed 19th century manor house. My own single room was both authentic and graciously luxurious. The grounds, tended with obvious devotion by my hosts, were delightful. And the petit dejeuner was grand, including not only the requisite flaky croissant and perfectly crusty baguette with local preserves and honey, but also an excellent local gruyere, jambon de Bayonne, an array of perfectly ripe seasonal fruit … and more. Of course the coffee was great, too. Merci Emmanuel and Marc! I can't wait to visit again.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A unique venue in the woods. It would be difficult to imagine a more tranquil and relaxing place. Our charming hosts could not have been more welcoming and provided us with an excellent dinner with wine (and very interesting conversation). Our room was extremely comfortable and our breakfast was amazing, both in variety and quality. This was the last night of our holiday and could not have been more memorable.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like
9.5 Excellent
Pros: So very much . Engaging hosts who were a delight . They were kind enough to prepare an evening meal at very short notice . The meal was exceptional, eaten in a lovely large spacious house within the depths of a tranquil forest setting . Nearby religious venue added to its mystery . Room was comfortable ,nice quality facilities that all worked as they should . No traffic noise or light pollution led to a most amazing view over the hills & countryside filled with trees .
Cons: Sat.nav had difficulty in locating the property due to remoteness of location, it is situated on top of a steep hill with limited access single track road . But that was only to be expected & added to the mystery of our first time stay at this property.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The very friendly reception, the beautifully restored forest house with green comfort, the excellent dinner and breakfast enjoyed in the company of the hosts and 5 other guests in a very cosy and welcoming atmostphere.
Cons: It was not easy to find the location even with GPS and WAZE.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast and the guests were really nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely owners and great food at this well presented and quiet home. The location is great, being nicely located on the edge of the forest away from main roads and the village yet easy to get to with all local amenities reached in a few minutes. Lots of wildlife around and during our short stay we found snakes, boar, deer, frogs and woodpeckers. A place I could easily call home if the owners ever wanted to sell but I would have to insist that the chef stays!
Cons: There is nothing to not like.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cathy is a wonderful hostess and her house brings a wonderful memory for any guest. It’s just far enough off the main routes for seclusion but close enough as a pit stop. I would drive 50 extra miles to stay in this authentic family home. Forget the IBIS they will never serve you with local produce with a smile.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was stunning with beautiful views. Quite and rural. The converted barn was beautifully done and newly renovated and the bedroom was a very good size with a king-size bed and ensuite. We had a window over looking the picturesque view. We liked that we could use a shared living room area with a microwave, toaster and kettle and a fridge freezer for our picnic food.

Pros: Warm and alternative welcome, the location is exceptional, the atmosphere alternative and great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Grandes Fontaines is a great restored old farmhouse which has a lot of charme. The hosts are incredibly friendly and fulfil you every wish. They produce a lot of the food themselves and it is really tasty! I enjoyed the huhe terrace and views - and the absolute quietude. And Charley (the dog) made the stay even greater.
Cons: perhaps a small suggestion... a hairdryer in the rooms would make it even more convenient. but apart from that, everything perfect!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our 3rd stay and the hotel has never failed to please. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds. Breakfast is plentiful. The restaurant in the adjacent casino complex is extremely good, well priced with a varied menu.
Cons: The only negative comment is that there are no English language TV channels, however, this is not a major problem, particularly if one is only staying overnight in transit.

Cons: Beds are too hard!
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was really helpful and friendly. Dinner in the casino next door was good and great value for money (coming from Switzerland that is...). Parking available at no additional cost.
7.3 Good
Pros: All staff was very friendly and helpful and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. The room was well appointed, very clean and quiet, the matras firm with a down comforter. The breakfast was ample and despite us lingering longer than the appointed time of 10 o'clock staff did not make us feel unwelcome. The casino restaurant was newly decorated and looked cheerful - as was the staff despite beeing a bit harrassed. First course and desert were very good.
Cons: We were disappointed about the quality of the meat (tough, dry) we were served for the main course at dinner in the Casino Restaurant. Staff did offer an exchange though but it was not really an improvement.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Right from the first step inside this hotel the feeling is good. The reception staff are excellent, efficient and professional coupled with very good, clean and well equipped rooms makes this hotel a great place to stay. The casino next door offers a restaurant and if you want something to do after dinner. We were not disturbed by the exit of people from the casino. Everything is organised perfectly. We have already booked another night at this hotel.
Cons: Only that the breakfast was not included in the room rate. The price of 9 euros is high and we would prefer to pay a little more for the room with the breakfast included.

Pros: I did really appreciate the excellent service and the kindness of the people working there.
Cons: Nothing to say.
7.6 Good
Pros: Enormous room, generous bathroom with two handbasins, large shower and bath. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant good value and very well prepared.

Cons: Feel the pictures are misleading. 'Waterside chalet' to me means more than a small man-made stagnant pond about 10 feet away. There is a kitchen, but if you haven't paid for the breakfast at 9 euros and you touch anything in it they will surcharge you 90 euros, so not much point having. Not good value for money. We could have booked a normal B&B for far less and had better services.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice little studio, clean and calm. Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast. Exactly what we needed as a resting place on our way home. Convenient location for visiting Le Corbusier's chapel.
Cons: Has nothing to do with the chambre d'hôtes itself - but not too many nice restaurant options in the neighbourhood.
