10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked last minute when our other accommodation had to cancel. What a stroke of luck! Orivage exceeded our expectations in every way. The whole property is immaculate and obvious thought and care goes into every detail. Our room was delightful, with a beautiful view of the river, enormous bathroom and stylish personal touches. Jacques was warm, welcoming and gave us great tips for things to visit nearby. To top it all off, breakfast was fantastic and beautifully served, with a variety of breads, meats, cheese, fresh fruit, homemade yogurt and jams, orange juice, etc. Easily within the top 5 b&bs I’ve ever stayed at. Will be back!
Cons: I hesitate to say anything negative because the entire experience was so fabulous that I wouldn’t want anyone to not book - but we found it a bit odd that the bathroom had no door. This was the second place we stayed at in the region where this was the case, so maybe it’s a Waloon thing? Anyway, if you’re very shy this might be a problem but really it’s so small in comparison to how great everything else was, it shouldn’t deter anyone from the delight of staying here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Family-run, very nice people. Best breakfast on our cycling tour, directly next to River Meuse. Great room, maybe a bit too instragramable. You can sit in the garden as well.
Cons: No door between room & toilet
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice river view from the room. Good equiped bathroom. Very friendly owner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautifully located house on the river bank with nice garden and a swing. The owners are very caring and friendly, made sure we have everything needed. The room is super clean and comfy, feels like home. And the breakfast was gorgeous with homemade jams and fresh bakes. I wish we've stayed longer there!
Cons: There was nothing to complain, our stay was simply amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the third time we visited this B&B. It is clean and friendly with an excellent breakfast and, if you want, a very nice dinner of local and seasonal delight. The rooms have atmosphere and are very comfortable. The location is very nice, located on the banks of the river Maas in an old restored post office. Walking, hiking, cycling, it's all possible. Some very nice walks in the nearby forrested hills or a visit to the local gardens of Annevoie (recommended, also with kids).
Cons: I could'nt think of any.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jacques is an excellent host who knows what he’s doing. The room was very nice. The breakfast was great (!) with a splendid view on the Maas river. There’s good good Thai restaurant (not kidding) on walking distance. Located on the GR/Ravel/riverside.

Pros: The breakfast and the dinner were more than delicious, the accomodation and the location were clean and fabulous. The owners were very nice and helpful :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved it here so much that we extended our stay by 2 days. The location itself, with its river views and outside lounge areas, was truly charming and calming. More than this, our host, Jacques, was wonderfully helpful and friendly, without being obtrusive, and delighted us with his creative and thoughtful culinary touches at breakfast, over drinks and at the dinner we chose to have there. Our room with two views of the river and a spacious bathroom was, like the rest of the B&B, was pleasantly renovated and decorated in a tasteful blend of antique with modern. I would love to go back.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Lovely staff, bed and room very comfortable, with a balcony (the room, not the bed!). Breakfast was brilliant in a great room with an excellent choice of food. This is a spa town with quite a lot going on.
Cons: The room was quite traditional, but this is good in its way. No restaurant at the hotel, but plenty a short walk away.

Pros: reception not good rooms first class
Cons: no breakfast available till after 8 30
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is located in a quiet village in rural Belgium. The owner has limited English but is helpful and attentive to his guests without being intrusive. The rooms are quite and well appointed our room had dual aspect with three good sized windows. There is a safe and adequate facilities and it feels very homely. The hotel is small with around 6 or 8 rooms but the breakfast is excellent with a lot of locally produced fair included which are explained in detail by the owner to the visitor at breakfast time. We would return should we ever be visiting the area again
Cons: We were under the impression that there was a reastaurant attached to the hotel but this is a separate entity and was not open on the night of our visit. We were told that there ws one restaruant open in the village which when we visited informed us that it was fully booked (Wednesday) We had to travel 9 Km to find a place to eat.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room and the restaurant is unique! The whole area is really nice for walks. Dominique - the manager, is always there to help and takes good care of the guests. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast is moderate, some fruits could be added.
Cons: A fridge in the room would not have been bad. We only stayed a night, so it was not a problem, but for longer vacation it would have certainly served well to chill out some drinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking view from our room with a beautiful sunset as a bonus. Really friendly host who couldn't do enough for us and made our overnight stay very relaxing. Fabulous dinner and a great choice of beers!
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The wonderfully chilled Dominic sets the tone and pace for the entire experience. A fabulous setting with exceptional views to be admired while sipping your choice of drink on the terrace (of the restaurant or of your room). Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, as well as being spacious and airy. It was a dream to wake up to in the morning and the best night's sleep we'd had for a couple of weeks. Breakfast was bountiful and relaxed. Dominic has plenty of info about the local area (walks, places to visit, cycling etc) so it would make a great base for a few days.
Cons: Unfortunately, the internet wasn't behaving when we stayed so we couldn't log on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, friendly and helpful staff, very good food in the restaurant
6.8 Good
Pros: It has a magnificent view and the room was very comfortable if not a bit small. Food was good but expensive . Drinks were expensive too . Common areas were not that clean, albeit weather was horrendous so maybe hard to keep clean . Room was clean and if you like dogs they have a very jolly one. Menus is fairly small , I think all is cooked fresh , just seemed a bit pricy . Breakfast was simple but excellent , great breads and cakes with eggs etc , breakfast was really very nice . Lunch menu appeared to be a more competitive offer
Cons: A little bit expensive and not near anything else .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. A fantastic location, friendly host, excellent room, nice breakfast and a truly marvellous view from the balcony.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, the location was great (just off the Meuse Cycle route).

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right next to the Meuse river, quite central. Great host, excellent breakfast, overall a very smooth experience.
Cons: The only problem is that the stairs connecting the sleeping area with the downstairs area (including toilet/exit) are quite steep and slippery. For the less agile, they could be quite dangerous, especially during the night.

Cons: Mobile phone did not find any network to call. Luckily the wifi worked
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was super friendly and went out of his way to help us check in when we arrived a lot later than planned. He also made a real effort to talk to us in English - which we really appreciated.
Cons: The breakfast seemed overpriced at €8 per person for pre-sliced bread and shop bought jams. There was no option of cooked items or cereal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice owner, clean house, kitchen available. Would recommend
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Alain was a very friendly and accommodating host. He drove me on 2 occasions since I had no car and was very welcoming.
Cons: I did not realise how isolated the location was and that the nearest taxi would have to be ordered from Namur for around 50 EUR, so I was even happier that Alain could give me a lift on a few occasions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and the host is very nice !!
Cons: Nothing in the neighbourhood so it would have been great if the possibility of having breakfast was given
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome all very relaxed and friendly, just what you would want when you arrive in a foreign country.
Cons: The pool, on the day, was a little too warm! They said the pool was warm because thats the way they like it.
La Villa de Monsieur Albert - Profondeville - Bedroom

8.6 Excellent (159 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host, I was offered a welcome drink and a guided tour of the villa. Facilities are clean, spacious and comfortable. My room had a nice view on the river and the extra bonus is the hot tub if you have your swimming suit with you! Another bonus is that the train station is accessible by foot which can be of interest for those using public transportation....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host, delicious breakfast and amazing facilities. I definitely recommend this place!
Cons: Nothing that I did not like. Everything was perfect!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, it was a real pleasure to stay with them for the week-end. Friendly, efficient and discrete.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming host and lovely puppy! Nice breakfast but not really worth 34Euros.for two people. Would like to stay again but in a larger room if they will have me after this review!
Cons: The room was quite small. Distance between left side of the bed and the wall was minimal. TV on top of wardrobe couldn't be viewed unless you stood in bathroom! Couldn't open wardrobe because of chairs. It was difficult to find. We were guided there by a nice young man!!
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Having to wait 3 hours to get in after numerous calls to them and booking.com. Many of the advertised facilities were not there and others that were advertised were inaccessible because we were left on our own and saw no staff at any time other than the cleaner when we left.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, nice outdoor space, beautiful interior
Cons: Couldn't work the Tv
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Owner was in the property when we arrived and welcomed us to the 'Blue Room'. You need a Sat-Nav to find it as the property is down a track which is one way. If you shoot past as we did then you have to make another loop to get back again. Parking available directly opposite the property on the right. Room was comfortable. Water and drinks available at extra cost. You are able to sit outside overlooking the river. Cheap price for stay at 38 Euro.
Cons: Breakfast available but at 12 Euro each we thought too expensive so we declined. We were charged an additional 5 Euro each local tax which we hadn't expected but did find evenually on the booking confirmation. Clear window to bathroom toilet so it was necessary to draw the blind for privacy. Hadn't realised that the railway line was on the other side of the track leading to the property and the trains dis rumble and rattle the room a little. The owner didn't seem to be around in the morning as as we had pre-paid we just left. Showerhead support was broken.
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms are conformtable and the staff is really nice. Scott is really cute if you like dogs.
Cons: The train is a little close so if you have a light sleep it would wake you up
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice welcome, nice extra touch of the jacuzzi and infra red sauna. Very clean and nice atmosphere
Cons: When taking a shower, the water went everywhere Some darker curtains in the room would come in handy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and the room with a river view. I was afraid of the rail track next door but we didn't hear it at all. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely breakfast.
Cons: We were staying in a suite but it was more a large room without bathtub, only a shower. The outside temperature was quite cold (below freezing point) and there was no central heating in the room, only 1 electric heater which we forgot to plug in.
Overview Reviews
This sumptuous castle dates from 1884, housing 42 rooms with breathtaking views of the forest and its 42 acres of parkland and greenery. The establishment has 2 buildings: the Grand Château and the Château Decoration has been entirely offset in 2009 by Marie's Corner, to transform this castle in a contemporary hotel with modern design. An authentic atmosphere to feel "at home" can really be felt in the castle, children play outside or in the inside playground, while the luckies parents enjoy a massage, and the most festive can take a drink on the panoramic heated terrace. The restaurant, with only with reservation, offers regional dishes and products from the farm, homemade jams, fresh juices, hot bread.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place, beautiful surroundings, with friendly and helpful staff.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was not Well organiseer. You have to cook your own eggs and squize your own Hij de while everyone is trying to do the same thing at the same time.
Cons: Breakfast and dinner buffet
7.0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast but if any busier hot food would take too long needs front staff to deal with hot food.
Cons: Room 210 a bit stuffy needs ventilation
7.5 Good
Pros: The scenery is beautiful an and also the "castle". Comfortable rooms with birds passing by the window.
Cons: We were disappointed to find out the room we were assigned was in another building with a urban style decoration with no resemblance of the castle we were expecting. The restaurant was closed on the weekend (only bar with drinks open) and there is nothing nearby. Closest restaurant miles away with a bit expensive price (A dinner for two cost the same amount as the 1 night stay)
4.5 Okay
Pros: Pretty chateau
Cons: Rooms and corridors painted dark green everything very dark and depressing. Very poor lighting in rooms. car park long way from buildings and poorly lit, food very over priced. Not enough staff on reception
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Localization. Views and inside the nature.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic, so scenic, really beautiful grounds and building.
Cons: We were in the newer building, the was no lift up to first floor, so the cases had to go up the stairs, no issue for us however others may need help..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were all great and v helpful. We liked the furnishings, smart, relaxed without being stuffy or pretentious.
Cons: The only downside, unfortunately was in the dining room the cheese board was left unprotected from the flies landing on all the lovely cheeses. Perhaps a little note to remind guests to replace the cover after use would be a nice touch.
6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful exterior and surroundings.
Cons: The road to the hotel is in a very poor condition. Parking is pretty far from the entrance to the hotel. Steep stairways inside. Ascethically furnitured room. Breakfast could be more substantial for such a price. The overall impression is that the hotel is very overpriced.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, tranquillity, charme, nature.
Cons: too late check-in, at 16.00, for a place which is not fully booked and in high season, I had to wait for some 4 hours. Also, as the high season is picking, the closure of the restaurant on Sundays is nonsense.
