not much our view was of golf course and not bay or beach no blow dryer in room as most resorts furnish them; the one they provided for us was melted on the end and when I turned it on, smoke started billowing out from it. fitted sheets would not stay on bed. no hand towel hung in bathroom no shampoo was in bathroom and had to ask for it 2x to get some. ,our view was of golf course and not bay or beach
I was very pleased with the staff and service. Wish I had wrote down names so I could highlight the registration staff that was so efficient. Initially had a problem with the toilet in the room and they had it fixed immediately. I will be back.
A different room on the second night was better. I was informed the place to get coffee was the gift shop. It was $2.00 for a small cup. The view of a partially finished roof from my balcony left a bad impression. Are room was not available when we arrived. Waited 2 1/2 hours for a substitute room that was a disaster. The headboard side of the mattress was 6" lower than the foot area. The bathroom vent and the coffee pot did not work. Tried to take a shower and the handle fell off. The balcony door would not open from the outside. The first night was a disaster.
Staff at front desk were friendly. Shower works fine. Rooms were dirty; windows were dirty; housekeeping didn't follow their standards; engineering didn't follow through until the second request. Hotel should be taken off line until the renovation is complete. Multiple safety issues in the Doral building from water in hallways, stairs appeared to be unsafe; carpet is outdated and what hotel doesn't have in room Wi-Fi? I paid a combined 774 and feel some type of reimbursement is owed.
It was mostly closed down construction no one said a thing or it wasn't listed when we book
Amazing that there are resort centers which book conferences that only have ethernet in the rooms. The office was surprised that there are computers which do not hook up to ethernet. I was there for a conference which had wifi. Will probably never stay there again.
The rooms were spacious and luxurious with a good view of the beach. However, I did not like the staff. The concierge staff lied to my wife and I. They promised a $75.00 credit if I conducted an honest evaluation of their hotel after we checked out. After waiting five minutes, we were introduced to a salesman who wanted to sell a time-share to us. This hotel is ridiculous. What a disappointment. If you plan our having the concierge staff lie to you in order to trick you into hearing a time share sales pitch, then this is the hotel for you. The rooms were great, but the staff were all untrustworthy. There was no gym and not much else to do except go to the beach during our stay. I wouldn't have minded, but the price was too high. This hotel needs more facilities like a gym and sauna.
The rooms were really spacious the view was amazing it was clean and santized staff was friendly and very helpful directing us around The elevators were the worst part I had to wait on a elevator for almost 20 minutes then they were all full and hot
Room was bigger than I anticipated I did not feel it was clean at all! The silverware provided was disgusting! I did not feel comfortable using any of the dishes! The mattresses on the bunk beds were pitiful and need to be replaced. The couch was chenille and not ideal for hot days!
I loved the stay I had at Seychelles. The view was beautiful, polite employees and condo was perfect. Would definitely stay there again. I was there for my son's graduation in Tallahassee. Nothing! Everything was great! :-)
The location of the hotel relative to the beach was great. I did not like the fact that I was locked out of my room for over an hour upon arrival and when I inquired about an inconvenience discount, was initially told yes, however after I checked in I was told no because I used a booking agent. I didn't know I would be penalized for using Booking.com to reserve the room. There was also an additonal $70.00 charge that cleaning charge that I was unaware of until after the reservations were made. To make matters worst, the condo was not very clean.
Very nice condo, excellent location for families, great value for the cost of the unit. Early May is the perfect time at the beach. We had to change units because the first unit was unacceptable; the unit was cheaply furnished and dirty.
Excellent view, room was decorated like on the movies, personeel was excellent, hotel provided numberous ammentities. I had to pay double fees, namely the Cleaning Fee of $69.95 which was already paid when making the reservation.
The view was awesome. Was on the 16th floor. The kitchen was nice, it had everything I needed to cook meals if we wanted. Free DVD rentals, one at a time, they had new releases and ones I haven't seen. Indoor pool was nice which we used when it rained. When you go plan on bring or buying everything you need like for a camping trip, hand soap, toilet paper, salt, pepper, Dish soap, 13 gallon trash bags, coffee and filters, laundry soap if you use the washing machine, plus tissues. They don't give you anything but one roll toilet paper and NO soap at all. TV sets were very old, NO flat screens in our room. So had to go buy 3 prong cable to hook up my sons Xbox. PLEASE update the TVs. Everyone has flat screens now a days. Real eye sore was the drain down by the beach, brown water was running all over the shore in front of the hotel. They should cover it up or have it drain further out into the ocean. And don't forget the cleaning fee. Don't know why they charge this since you are the one taking out your own trash and washing dishes.
The hotel was nice surprise. It was very convenient to have a fully equipped kitchen. The beach by the hotel is awesome. They provide unlimited free DVD rentals. The cleaning fee ($60) is quite high if you are just staying for a few days.
The rooms were clean, perfect location, good price. Staff could have been more helpful.
Free movie rentals, gym, spa, 3 swimming pools Waiting on the elevator, waiting on a buggie to load up to leave.
