Nice view and location but other than that nothing really special. You have to pay 15USD for wi-fi connection per day. Which is riddicilous. It's not even a proper connection, very slow in the evening. Appliances and furnitures in the room was not in good shape and not very clean. There were cracks on the walls and on the ceiling. Our last breakfast order was horrible, despite that we paid the same, we received poor quality contents for some reason.
Great customer service, very clean room, quiet and allowed pets. Jetted tub, private patio. The room felt like a little beach cottage with the bedroom in the loft. We will stay here next time we're in Tacoma. I will recommend this Hotel to everyone.
I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Macau for five days in March. The staff was friendly and attentive. The concierge was especially helpful. I loved the location and the convenient shuttle bus to many areas in Macau. I would definitely stay here again.
Location is good. Can find plenty of food at surrounding area and seven-eleven convenience store only right in front of the hotel. The bed is really "tiny" for the 4 star hotel.
Good quality hotel at a good price Final bill was in local currency (pataca) rather than HK$ as quoted. I was stung (slightly) on the non-optional conversion rate.
Hotel was in good location, has no-smoking floors, TV and light controls on tables were nice. Bathroom were decent and we like the lock box for valuables. The view to the ocean was nice too. We didn't like the bed, hard as rock, Chair has more cushions in it than bed. Need to change to better more comfortable beds. Carpet had many stains, the no-smoking room smelled like smoke. We wouldn't stay in this hotel again unless the beds were better.
Location was close to the Macau GP circuit which was my reason for visiting. The room was quiet and the hotel clean and friendly.
It is centrally located in the Macau peninsular, convenience to all casino attractions, shops and historical landmarks but minus the noise plus free shuttle to/from ferry. Good rate only apply to weekdays in advance booking. Despite its excellent location, the hotel facilities and accommodations need improvement to attract return guest.
Location is good To many rude Mainlanders
Spacious rooms. Convenient location. Prompt replenishment of toiletries. Reception staff not very knowledgeable. They can't tell us where to tale a bus to places of interest. Do not speak English and can't read the english names on tourist map.
2 star buffet breakfast
Good location with walking distance to the essential sightseeing spots. Also close to casinos like the Lisboa. Staff was friendly, the room big and clean. They only have internet by cable. It's free and they'll lend you a cable, but you're out of luck with a phone, PDA, etc. Not a very great view from the window.
value worth; room is spacious and comfortable. Location is good. Customer svc level is really poor for a 4 star hotel. Reception staff (trainees) unable to answer basic qtns and did not attempt to find out. Whilst other staff not helpful and we had to approach other hotel's concierge. On a rainy day we were told they ran out of umbrellas and if we needed one, we have to purchase it???
Location is perfect being, next to the Grand Lisboa (taxi drivers actually know this hotel/casino) and close to historic sites. Room size and quality were excellent. Rooms had clearly been modernised relatively recently. Negatives were the mattress which was quite literally as hard as the floor; the included internet which was so slow as to be unusable and a very average breakfast. It was not terrible by any means but not a plus point and the restaurant was tired looking.
good location bad service, rude
Good location, walking distance to every interesting places. The room is big and very comfort.
free internet (excellent) all staff unfriendly, local knowledge of reception staff limited.. breakfast a complete waste of money..
Realy im not liket nothink in this hotel next time I m not bookt in the simaller hotel .possibel this hotel only for chinees . In the reception was not carfull for the guest
No smoking rooms in the chosen range were all occupied, but the reception staff promptly upgraded us to non smoking rooms in a better category at no extra charge. Excellent.
I booked this hotel on recommendation of a client in Singapore. It was well worth the money spent. I will be returning in February. I tried to book on their website without success.
I had no serious problems with the hotel. The architecture and decorating is rather bland. The breakfast and dinner buffet was on the low end for Asian hotels. The location is good. I love Macau!
Helpful staffs and they are able to converse well in English. A bit far from new major attractions such as City of Dreams and Venetian.
perhaps the price i have booked is on the highest seasons, overall is a good place for backpackers and most of the room are having a smoking scent nothing particular :)
Food is nice & all staff speaks good English
Quite a convenient location. Shuttle bus service to Macau ferry an added bonus. The reception staff were rude, and rushing about to push people away. Seems like a shortage of staff as only 1 or 2 people working at the busy reception. The entire hotel also smells of smoke, so not recommended for non-smokers.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean. I got upgraded so it was not the standard room.
The location was ideal. It was at the centre of Macau. Upon checking in, rather than just asking for a credit card to secure my room, they asked me to pay for the room already plus a deposit which was already almost equivalent to the room I booked. It was the first time I experienced such a policy wherein you need to pay for the room already and give an additional deposit. Besides this, the room we got also had an "old" smell to it as if the room has not been used for some time. It was also dusty in the room.
