Pros: Cooking class difficult to book but excellent. Young woman at desk and breakfast is excellent.
Cons: Grounds not well kept. No towels for pool. Room made up daily but towels and bedding not changed in 3 days. Property has great potential but needs a lot of attention.
Pros: We came for one night on our way to Puglia and decided to stay longer since the place was so great. We simply loved the swimming pool surrounded by olive trees. We had lunch at the hotel and delicious diner in the city (5mins walk) The hotel and rooms are intimate, nicely decorated with an eye for details and quiet. Thanks to the staff as well for their friendliness. I highly recommend this location!
Pros: Fabulous hotel. Great location, friendly and helpful staff!
Pros: Wonderful quiet hotel with beautiful large rooms in bungalows in a garden with swimming pool. Excellent accomodation and rich breakfast. Very practical private parking next door. very close to city center (lovely and pleasant town of Bernalda with lots of small bars and restaurants) Extremely friendly and gentle staff who helped me actively after I had a small car accident!
Pros: A quality accommodation with stylish decoration all over the place. The lady at the reception was very kind to prepare a delicious pasta because we could not find a place for lunch that was open in the surroundings. Definitely a place to come back. It is close to a beautiful beach area.
Located in Bernalda, All'ombra del Carrubo is a 1-minute drive from Tavole Palatine and 10 minutes from Acquazzurra Water Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was really nice with plenty of variety.
Cons: The location only suits a one night stay.
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Big comfortable bed, hot shower, and the BREAKFAST! The included breakfast is hefty and delicious. The property has an enclosed yard and garden that are very nice and well taken care of.
Cons: It's not the greatest location but it gets the job done.
Located in Bernalda, Agriturismoteo is within a 15-minute drive of Plebescito Plaza and Tavole Palatine. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Dino the host was very nice and helpful. HIs family was also very nice. His mother made for us brilliant breakfast from local products. Our children liked the local cats very much. :-) The apartment was very comfortable for four of us. Airconditioning is available is necessary. The pool is super. The beach is about 10km from there, and not overcrowded. Matera and Arbelobello are within 100km from there! We loved this place! I can recommend for anyone!
Cons: The frogs were a bit noisy in the night! :-)

Pros: Enjoyed local cafe bar for breakfast and picnic lunch available from baker next door
Cons: Only one restaurant nearby and it was closed on Mondays
Pros: Adequate for my needs
Cons: The room is not for winter. There is only air conditioner which is loud and poor producing enough heat. Even worse, there's not enough brackets.
Pros: Very courteous owner. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: No directions to place - no one at place had to get neighbor to call for someone to meet us
Pros: The owner was friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The apparent lack of food-shopping opportunities in the town itself is amply compensated for by the supermarket in the complex (if you can call it that) adjacent to the railway station.
Cons: The bathroom was spacious but the bedroom was a little on the small side - there was insufficient room on one side for a bedside table which meant no facility for a light or any sort of shelf to put things on.
Pros: Lovely staff at check in who felt sorry we were there off peak when nothing was really open. They didn't speak English either but got our question about places to eat and offered for us to join them for dinner as there was nothing around within walking distance. Great rooms, clean etc, close to museum and archaeological park, just a bit of a walk to the beach, although there is a bus too.
Located in Marina di Pisticci, Villa Cenzina provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bidet and a hairdryer. A buffet breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. A bicycle rental service is available at Villa Cenzina.
Pros: Excellent rural villa! This is a lovely rural home with three rooms available for guests. Our host, Giuseppe, was very warm and friendly. He volunteered to drive us to a restaurant for dinner (because there are none within walking distance), and we accepted his generous offer. Our room at the Villa was comfortable, and we felt welcome to use other areas for writing/facebooking/emailing. The breakfast was ready at the time we requested, and it was good. The coffee was excellent! Giuseppe graciously helped us map a route as we’re traveling on bicycles, and many Italian roads do not allow them. Giuseppe grew up in this area and knows it well.
Pros: Nicely furnished by a charming host
Cons: Villa Cenzina is located in the Hinterland approximately 3 km from the beach. The locality is nearly impossible to find as the address did not appear on our GPS. We nearly gave up the search after 1 hour of driving in circles. Thanks to the help of a garbage collector we finally found the place.
Pros: It was very quiet, exceptionally clean room and a warm welcoming.
Cons: The street to get there in motorcycle is not very good
Pros: Very nice host, close to the beach and there are facilities to sit outside in the evenings to chat and relax with a drink.
Pros: Delightful, authentic villa which is loveningly maintained in quiet location. Charming host who was very kind when we're got lost and arrived very late at night. Please note there are check in times we did not notice on the booking site.
Pros: It was very clean and quiet and nice.
Pros: Beautiful well kept property which was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding gardens and land was beautiful and very peaceful. It was just a short drive down to the most amazing beaches. Breakfast was good and the host was excellent. The entrance to the property has a locked gate so it’s very secure and would also be a great place for bikers.
Set in Metaponto, 44 km from Matera, Relais Masseria Cardillo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. Every unit features a private bathroom and bidet, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Guests at the farm stay can enjoy a continental breakfast. A terrace can be found at Relais Masseria Cardillo, along with a garden.
Pros: We arrived late, just in time for dinner and the food was superb. We have quite challenging dietary requirements but the kitchen made no fuss and delivered a beautiful meal. Excellent wines too. Bed was enormous and so was the en suite. Would highly recommend.
Pros: The entrance hall and the vaulted ceilings are really stunning but the most beautiful part of the Masseria is the swimming pool.
Cons: Unfortunately quite a few things that we did not like. Beautiful room but no where to sit in the room apart from a single desk chair. We had a triple room. Bathroom very dated and grout could have done with a good steam clean. Very large terrace but only 2 aged wicker chairs and a small table. The entrance from the road to the is very difficult to find and poorly signed and the road to the Masseria is like a mountain track.
Pros: Staff was welcoming. We loved the ambience! Spacious room with beautiful terrace. Pasquetta meal in the dining room was memorable!
Cons: The bed and bathroom need to be updated. They need a better sign on the highway.
L'Oasi bed & breakfast is located directly on the Metaponto seaside. The in-house restaurant serves seafood and delicious pizza. All rooms have a private bathroom. B&B L'Oasi is family managed, in a professional way.
Pros: Very friendly welcome, allowed access to room early 1 minute walk to the public beach. Lunch was very tasty, breakfast was wonderful - the food just kept coming & coming. Staff were very helpful & friendly. free off-road car parking. Perfect for accessing the beach & enjoying well-cooked hearty local meals at sensible prices. I wish we'd stayed for 2 nights instead of the 1, but it was just a stopover after a long drive.
Cons: For this type of hotel & at this price - nothing.
Pros: The staff are the nicest people you will meet in Italy. This location in Italy is remote. Nice beaches, but town is small. You need a rental car if you want to explore the region. Rooms are nice, and definitely clean.
Pros: Hotel directly on the beach - ocean view. Very nice cousine - sea food, pasta, wine. Pleasant staff.
Pros: The hotel was almost on the beach which was perfect as I have a baby. Food in the restaurant was very good and fair priced.

This hotel has 5382 square feet (500 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice , friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Low price given the quality of the hotel and the included breakfast.
Cons: The hotel is NOT close to the beach. And very important to mention : it is VERY difficult to find the hotel and its entrance. My advise is to contact the hotel before coming.
Pros: Very good breakfast. The room was clean and quite.
Cons: Mattress was too soft.
Pros: Comfortable, clean room and quiet considering the proximity of a main road. Convenient for a visit to the archiological sites and museum. Reasonable breakfast.
Cons: The main road prevents any easy strolling in the vicinity of the hotel

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: More variation on the menu. Though it was good enough, I ate there one night, which was a good meal, indeed great, the menu was the exactly the same. as the night before.
Cons: The more I think about it, there is nothing to dislike. The staff was great!
Pros: Very good breakfast and the personal was friendly. Near to the beach. A classic hotel.
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Beach was right across the street.
Cons: More comfy bed/pillows.
Pros: It was relaxing !
Cons: The whole area is geared more for holiday villages , most of which are closed down as are all the eating places ..
Pros: The breakfast was not what I am usually used too, as their wasn't a great deal of variety and the coffee cups were too small, which I noticed its a regular thing in Italy and the cappuccino cups should have been bigger. However what was on offer was cooked and presented well
Cons: I would have preferred a more comfortable room, with updated décor and English channels on the tv.
Pros: Personnel was excellent - extremely nice and helpful. Location as well - just at the beautiful beach. We had breakfast and dinner and the meal was very good.
Cons: I suppose that during the season the hotel is noisy - double doors would help. And maybe also the carpets on the floor - despite the fact this is not very much used in Italy. But for sleeping better.
Pros: It was close to the beach about 100 feet rooms and linens were super clean in fact the entire hotel is immaculately clean There are employees constantly sweeping mopping scrubbing shining polishing even the tiles that run down by the floor They have a fine free breakfast with freshly baked croissants and the best is Joseph who works at the front desk He picked us up at the train station at 11:45 pm because there is only one train per day to Metaponto from Rome so Joseph came to pick us up I was so impressed I booked another 3 days in August
Cons: The young man who lives on the first floor I think he is some kind of mAnager. I was checking out and the front desk person asked me for a fiscal code I was perplexed and annoyed with that What is a fiscal code? I told the guy I gave my passport that was enough then the young what I took to be the manager came out and bothered me to provide a fiscal code I was really really angry about that since I didn’t know what he was talking about
