Pros: The room was excellent and the family we met were very gracious hosts. We took a rare opportunity to visit with them around their kitchen table, really great! In the morning my wife and I both had the Irish breakfast that has cooked to our order. Besides the meal we were served fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, toast and French pressed coffee. If you are looking for a great B&B to stay look no further than Ballinclea.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Pros: The room is so lovely and cosy, it makes you feel like home immediately. Hosts are really attractive to kids. Hosts are very nice and have many travel tips to share. Homemade Irish breakfast tastes great too!
Cons: if have to point out something, the electronic fireplace does make some noises (like fridges) and we could also hear sounds from other room who are probably quite loud in late night...But as we fell asleep it didn't bother us any more. For traveller sensitive to noise, an ear pludge will probably help.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, very clean and tidy! We got a lovely breakfast!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was good & convenient to the hotel. There was good parking. The room was adequate. There was no tea & coffee in the room but you could go down stairs & make it
Cons: The breakfast was a bit on the very small side. Eg I asked for scrambled egg on toast. I got 2 x quarter slices of toast with one scrambled egg on it & a quarter of a tomato. I wasn’t impressed. My sister asked for the full Irish was a very small portion. She also asked for porridge & was told that they make it on water not on milk. To me that’s scrimping and not what I was ever used to in Irish B&B’s. they should get the food right and not be miserly

Pros: Lovely owner, gorgeous location and good breakfast
Cons: Room and bathroom were a bit small and although there was tea and coffee in the room, it was just tea and coffee, some other options would have been nice, as would a choice of gluten free cereals at breakfast, not just cornflakes.

Cons: Nothing at all
7.5 Good
Pros: Good breakfast with good service. Clean room with nice extras including tea and coffee in the room. Staff were pleasant.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Traveling to Carnew,County Wicklow,Ireland from Canada,to visit family. Unfamiliar with roads, route etc. the Coach house is right on a main road, easy to locate and we were given directions to our family in Carnew that saved us time. The owners were extremely warm and knowledgeable about the area and made us feel at home from start to finish. Breakfast menu had something for everyone and you knew they would cook to any dietary needs. Greeted with smiles and a hand shake and said good bye the same..I would recommend staying here for value in every way..
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: What's not to like? From the friendly & warm hospitality of Mick & Barbara to the decor and ambience of the house, I loved it and will definitely return. I liked the presence of pets about the place too...very homely feel. I was sitting outside on the 2nd evening and Mick came over to ask if I would like a complimentary glass of wine. Very nice touch and I gladly accepted. At the Old Coach House they operate an "honesty bar" in the guest lounge, this was good because my friend & I preferred to return to the beautiful lounge for a nightcap & a chat. All in all, possibly the most welcoming & charming guest house ive stayed in to date.
Cons: No complaints

Pros: Our host was very friendly and the B & B was very nice. Though remote, the location is excellent for visiting the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds good mattresses, clean.
Cons: Heating was on early in the evening. Very hot, couldn't turn the radiator down I mean I did turn to 0 but still work in full heat. Was to warm outside for turning on heating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Big bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lovely position in the country with nice views. Very quiet. Some great pubs around for dinner
Cons: I had misunderstood about whether a washing machibe was available for our use so asked for directions to a laundrette. We were given completely inaccurate directions leading us to drive a long way out of our way to the wrong town and supermarket. Eventually found a laundrette in a different town half an hour away. Annoying because time was short but we did get to see more of the countryside and just got to dinner in the pub in time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My Mom and I stayed in a twin room with a shared bathroom on the 1st floor. We found the room to be comfortable with more than enough room for the two of us. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I appreciated that there was more than one pillow on each bed. I found that to not be the case in most of the other places we stayed. The shared bathroom worked out fine for us. Tom was very nice and breakfast was lovely. If you are looking for a place that's in a quiet location in the Wicklow area, this is a nice place. You will have to drive if you check in prior to dinner. There isn't anything within walking distance. Which was fine with us. Tom took the time to recommend places to eat. We decided to go to The Glenmalure Lodge. We had a nice meal there.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host

6.0 Good
Pros: Great quiet location . . Great breakfast
Cons: The shower was arkward with a slanted floor to the back of it and quite slippy. I actually slipped in the shower cubical and ended up on the floor . There was also a floorboard nail slightly stickhing up which I stood on.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast and lady serving breakfast was very friendly and efficient. Beautiful gardens
Cons: Clone House is described as pet friendly but we were not made aware that there would be €20 per night charge for the dog until we arrived at the property. It was too late to do anything as we had paid upfront.. Had we known this we would probably have booked else where. This should have been made clear on the website eg. Pets are welcome but there will be an additional fee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally hospitable owners - you could tell tell that Svetlana and Jeff cared greatly, and took great pride in delivering the highest attention to meeting their guests needs, as well as just being very friendly, approachable and authentic. Fabulous grounds, really incredible, lead for a very restless, re-energising getaway. Very comfy beds - I caught up on a lot of sleep....also they have the awesome dogs!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Full breakfast was fantastic and location and gardens were superb
Cons: Wifi did not work in our room. A second chair would have been preferred.
6.3 Good
Pros: The place itself.
Cons: Svetlana needs some training in Irish hospitality. She showed us a room which was beautiful, only to kick us out moments later and force us to move to a smaller room because she said she made a mistake? She dismissed our objection like it was our problem. So not OK.. In the morning, we then had issues with our breakfast order and she gave a great deal of attitude which was shocking. Beautiful place, but her hospitality was not good. It really colored our stay for sure.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Roast Chicken with ham was absolutely delicious!!!
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly, the food was 1st class. The shower was very good also.
Cons: The room was on the small side and the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable due to layers of blankets on top of the Mattress.. also the noise level from just after 6am was shocking. Moving chairs and obviously setting up for the day but it was impossible to sleep from that time on. The carpark was about 100 yards away so if it had been raining you would have got soaked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Helen Noel and all the staff are very friendly helpful and professional in all that they do. The bed is 100% comfy and cosy. The entire premises is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated.
